"Hello…and welcome…to the final day!" Chi Ta called out. "We have 12 fighters remaining and 11 fights to go! Today promises to be an epic of excitement!"
"Hmm…Souei…how is it looking outside?" Rimuru asked.
"Just as that girl mentioned. Multiple people carrying weapons are gathering in camps at multiple entrances." Souei said.
"Just like I thought." Morph said. "Well no sense in dwelling on the past."
"Let's just focus on having fun on this final day. Lets not worry about the assassins outside." Hope said.
"Says the guy who is at the top of their list." some of the group said.
"Can we please not comment on that?" David asked.
"So now…without further ado…let us introduce our first fighter! From the Era of the Great Sea! This sword wielding warrior sails all around to battle to protect the sea from the evils of Ganondorf. He is the Wind Waking Warrior! Toon Link!" Chi Ta said as Toon Link entered the arena.
"Yeah…go and do this, Link!" Tetra called out.
"We're rooting for you." Medli said.
"Do your best, big brother!" Aryll cheered.
"So that is Medli, the Earth Sage from whom Divine Beast Vah Medoh earned its name." Revali said. "I have to say, this version of Link is…. Interesting, to say the least."
"It's due to the fact that this Link looks nothing like the ones you've seen before. But don't be fooled by his cartoon looks, he's an incarnation of the Hero of Hyrule through and through." Zephyr said.
"That's right, and he's from the timeline where Link disappeared from history after defeating Ganondorf and when Hyrule was submerged in water becoming a body of water known as the Great Sea." Lana said.
"Completely submerged in water? How was that possible?" Mayumi asked."It's not like it's Atlantis or anything."
"Later on in Hyrule's History, when the Hero of Time faded to legend, the Seven Sages seal broke and allowed Ganondorf to escape the sacred realm and use his piece of the Triforce to plunge Hyrule into Darkness. When the Hero didn't appear, King Daphnes and his people pleaded to the gods for deliverance." Lana explained. "Then the gods answered, and so came the great flood, sealing away Hyrule and Ganondorf with it. People chosen by them were ordered to take refuge on the mountaintops so the new world would be rebuilt. And eventually the Triforce of Wisdom was split into two, one with King Daphnes, and the other with his daughter. It continued on for hundreds of years, leading to this Link's adventure."
"And his opponent! This warrior dons a mask to hide his disfigured face! He is a supersonic fighter with his faithful Punishers by his side. He is…the Massacre Soldier! Killer!" Chi Ta said as Killer walked into the arena.
"Go for it, man!" Jesse said.
"Don't be too rough on him. His timeline still needs him alive." David said.
"Well…this will not take too long." Killer said.
"And the location is…the Pirate Ship!" Chi Ta said as the two stood on a ship. "And let the fight…begin!"
Killer started moving as Toon Link quickly blocked with his sword before Killer jumped. "Scyther Sonic!" he said, attacking the small warrior with a soundwave slash that attacked them internally, forcing them to falter.
Toon Link stumbled a bit before drawing a bomb and tossing it at Killer who then cut it in two before it exploded. Toon Link then started to notch an arrow to fight back only for the pirate to get close.
"Spin and…Sonic!" he called out using a vertical cut on the young swordsman, sending him flying and falling right into the sea, far from the ship.
"And that…is that. It was short but it was still intense! Our winner here…is Killer!" Chi Ta called out.
"The kid…wish he could have been more to be honest." Killer said as he returned to the stands. "Not bad for a debut fight."
"Yeah…gonna be honest, that was kinda awesome to watch. Now I can see how he's part of the Worst Generation." Ethox said.
"Though…the only people I really wanna dice up…are Apoo and Hawkins." Killer said.
"Don't worry… You'll get your chance soon enough." David said.
"I know…until then…I'll wait patiently until that time." Killer said.
