Orlando, Florida, Earth, 2002

Princess Zanell took on the persona of Zarina Kynaston to avoid capture by drones of her father or worse, Earth's government, "Now that I disguised my ship as a trailer" Zarina said, "I need to find these Backstreet Boys fast."

In the morning, Studio 25 was having auditions for backup dancers for the first-ever season of, 'Let's All Dance Until We're Sick'. dancers from ages 8 to 28 were there including 13-year-old red-haired American Faith Booth, and her best friends, Japanese American, Ginger Chirohiro, Haitian American Nadine Lyndon, and Mexican American, Jessie Gomez, "Can you believe we're going to be back-up dancers for a new reality dance show?" Faith said, "This is going to be great!"

"But we have to audition first," Nadine explained, "Now don't get upset if we're all not in the show. We can always support each other in the first live broadcast and the finale."

They were a bit nervous, because they've seen friends who got parts in school plays, but only a few get the part. They hoped that it won't come between them.

"Hey, there folks," announced the man, "I'm your host, Cristian Brand. I'll be the host of this season of Let's All Dance Until We're Sick."

Just then, fog came out of nowhere and an instrumental version of As Long As You Love Me came up, "And let me introduce you to the judges of this season, The Backstreet Boys!"

A. J McLean, Howie D, Nick Carter, Brian Littrell, and Kevin Richardson came into the room and thunderous applause came out.

"The rules are really simple," said A. J, "You guys can compete in pairs or as a group. When your spotlight is out, you're out of the competition and you cannot enter another spotlight."

"Got it" everyone shouted.

"All of you get a chance to dance," Nick said, "But only twelve of you get to dance."

One by one, they auditioned through their song Backstreet's Back. Unfortunately, not a single one of them had the skills to be on the show.

In the corner, Zarina could see the five handsome judges and in her bag, the amulets were glowing. "That must be them." Zarina thought to herself "The amulets are never wrong, these are the chosen ones who will save my galaxy and stop my father before it gets out of hand."

"Excuse me," asked Mr. Brand, "Are you here for a job opening for executive producer of Let's All Dance Until We're Sick?"

Zarina was nervous, because she didn't want to expose herself as an alien. So she told him, "Yes" and took the interview."

Later in his office, Zarina met the owner of Studio 25, Big G, Big G was an Italian Man and wore an elaborate suit, "Listen here ugh, "Zarina Kynaston" you were a leader of a show, which got canceled straight away."

"I was" she exaggerated, "Until the leader took control of everything."

"Whatever!" growled Big G, "Now as executive producer, you must make sure the show goes smoothly, we don't want any complaints and I mean it. One complaint from an audience member and I'll go crazy."

Fearing that it might blow her cover, Zarina took the job.

Back in the studio, it was Faith's, Ginger's, Nadine's, and Jessie's turn to dance. The DJ started playing Backstreet's Back. After a really good dance routine, The Backstreet Boys started to smile, thinking that they got the right stuff. Faith, Ginger, Nadine, and Jessie were happy, because their idols loved their version of Backstreet's Back.

After the audition, Zarina greeted herself to the Backstreet Boys and asked, "Could you guys meet me in my office?"

They were thinking about a bonus to pay for the beach house, but really, Zarina has other things in mind.

As Faith, Ginger, Nadine, and Jessie were about to leave, Ginger just realized something, "I forgot my purse" Ginger said, "I must've left it in the dressing room when we went to get changed."

They tried to get inside, but the guard won't let them. Cristian could see the whole thing from behind and decided to let them in, "We all forget sometimes," Cristian explained to the guard, "And a woman has gotta know where her purse is at."

In her new office, Zanell explained everything to them. "And that's where the ship let met to your music."

"Right" laughed B-Rok, "And I'm Roy Orbinson"

Annoyed by their disbelief, Princess Zanell decided to prove that she's an alien by using her telekinesis on B-Rok "Okay" B-Rock shouted, "You are an alien princess."

Little did they know, is that Faith, Ginger, Nadine, and Jessie were retrieving Ginger's purse when they saw what was going on, "That lady over there is an alien." whispered Ginger, "No wonder she couldn't find the main office."

Then Faith realized something "They might be teaching us how to dance for the show" she whispered, "So maybe, we can teach them how to be superheroes."

"My husband is now captured by my father and this planet is the only place where the amulets can be safe." finished Zarina.

"In-Law troubles." said A. J, "This is out of hand!"

"I've got a little something to show you," Zarina said, "Follow me."

Ginger quickly turned herself, Faith, Nadine, and Jessie invisible, just as Zarina and The Backstreet Boys came out. Faith quickly placed Tracker Dust on Zarina and with the power of their instincts, they followed them to the parking lot.

Once there, Zanell showed them some high tech motorcycles "Rad Bikes" commented Howie D, "Not like the cars we drive"

"These aren't just any bikes," Zanell said, "Their hoverbikes. With one press of the button, their turn into hover-bikes."

"Now we can fly anywhere," Nick said, "Only at night"

By a kiosk, Faith, Nadine, Ginger, and Jessie could see what was going on, "Maybe we should help them" whispered Faith.

After The Backstreet Boys took off on their new hoverbikes, Faith, Ginger, Nadine, and Jessie pressed their bronze pins and turned into magical creatures themed superheroes. Faith became Griffin Girl, protector of the griffin, Ginger became Rubyhane, Nadine became Merazul, and Jessie became Centauemerald.

"Come on girls" Griffin Girl shouted, "Let's dance!"

Griffin Girl and Rubyhane flew off while Merazul rode the back of Centauremerald.

Later, they arrived at Collingwood Lanes Trailer Park, where Zanell hid her spaceship. Before they went in, they saw a bunch of burglars robbing a blue trailer, "The Trailer Park Bandits" whispered Kevin, "Florida's police dept has been after them for weeks."

Before Zanell could give The Backstreet Boys their amulets. A ring of fire surrounded the bandits, "Don't change their address" shouted Griffin Girl

Griffin Girl flew in, Rubyhane sprayed sleeping dust all over, Merazul splashed water around the fire, and Centauremerald did power kicks them to the curb. With the speed of light, Rubehane quickly returned the stolen goods to the blue trailer. "Now those are superheroes," Brian said.

"You're not the only one with a secret" Griffin Girl said as she removed her mask.

"You're that Faith girl" recalled Brian.

"It's, "Faith Booth" replied Faith, "And these are my best friends"

One by one, her friends removed their masks.

"Ginger Chirohiro" greeted Ginger.

"Nadine Lyndon" greeted Nadine.

"And Jessie Gomez" greeted Jessie.

"That was some fine dancing you did." commented Nick.

"Thanks, Nick" replied Faith.

Zanell told them to get inside before anyone noticed.

As they got in, they saw that the whole trailer is a real TARDIS. The outside was a regular small trailer, but the inside was as big as Zanell's old castle. From her bag, Zanell gave The Backstreet Boys the special Amulets of Zallegro. Nick got the Stealth amulet, Howie got the Illusion amulet, A. J got the Reflex amulet, Brian got the Speed amulet, and Kevin got the Strength amulet, "You guys must be careful about these amulets" explained Zanell, "Not only they give you powers, but they can also detect danger at any time."

"And since you're going to teach us how to dance," Jessie said as she placed her, "We thought we could teach you how to be superheroes."

But The Backstreet Boys weren't sure about letting a bunch of young girls teaches them a few things.

In the morning, all the auditioners were back, including a posh boy with red hair, "What have we here?" he asked, "A bunch of wannabe Spice Girls?"

"The Spice Girls have five members, not four" corrected Nadine, "And who are you."

"Forgive me" laughed the posh boy, "I'm, "Lewis Hightower III" you probably remember me from my tap dance routine from yesterday."

"Oh yeah," Jessie said, "Mr. Tap on The Head because I'm stupid."

Only A. J and Nick laughed at Jessie's joke, much to the annoyance to the others.

"Alright, folks" Big G shouted, "I'm only going to take one boy into the show while The Backstreet Boys. Mr. Hightower, your staying."

Everyone was paralyzed that Lewis is going to be one of the back-up dancers. "Now everyone" shouted Big G, "DANCE!"

Everyone who auditioned started to dance like crazy. The Backstreet Boys started to decide on who should leave until they narrowed it to 12 dancers. Faith, Ginger, Nadine, and Jessie looks at their new boy band friends, and the five men looked at their new teenage friends, "Usually the older teaches the younger" whispered Kevin, "But we don't want any nasty aliens."

"Should we keep Faith, Ginger, Nadine, and Jessie" whispered B-Rock, "They did say they're going to teach us how to be heroes."

"We should" whispered A. J, "I kind of like that Jessie girl."

Howie D pointed at a disco dancer and his spotlight was out.

"This is great" smiled Big G, "Now we have our twelve dancers. Let's get this show on the road."

Everyone cheered.

Faith, Ginger, Nadine, and Jessie were so happy, they hugged each other and bounced up and down like bunny rabbits.

"They are best friends," Howie D said "Just like us."

The Backstreet Boys looked at each other and then smiled. Then they looked at Zarina, who is supervising the audition.

A few minutes later in her new office, Zanell started to worry about whether or not she'll get her planet back. "Father" Zanell prayed, "I will get my planet back and put an end to your destruction."
