In, Zallegro City, capital of Zalgea and the fifth planet of the Zallegro Galaxy, Zaid was cleaning up the statues of Zator. Just then horns blew, and Emperor Zator made his entrance. Zaid was nervous, because he and his wife, Princess Zanell, were the only ones who know about the switch.
"Zaid!" shouted Emperor Zator. "Are my statues shiny?"
"They are sure," Zaid answered nervously. "All polished."
"But you forgot to polish the cameras on the statues!" Zator shouted angrily. "Those cameras keep our eyes open for any traitors!"
*It's a good thing I deactivated the cameras in the treasure room, hallway 42, and the ship garage*, Zaid thought to himself, *That way he won't suspect the switch.*
"Now," said Zator, "I hired the fiercest bounty hunters in the galaxy to infiltrate Earth and take over the planet."
A pair of acrobatic brothers were summoned at once. They were the Zimbakhe Brothers, a pair of circus acrobats who love doing dangerous things for no reason. Zirja-Esh greeted the stout brother.
"Zreza!" shouted the skinny brother.
"Reporting for duty!" they both shouted.
"I'm sending you two down to earth to cause trouble," Zator ordered.
"We love causing trouble!" shouted Zirja-Esh.
"And for no reason!" shouted Zreza.
After they cartwheeled their way out, Emperor Zator ordered him to clean up the zegasus stables, because the zegasuses ate the head of one of the guards. Zaid began to worry because The Zimbakhe Brothers could find out about the switch and tell on the emperor.

At Studio 25 on Earth, Faith, Ginger, Dorothy, Jessie, and Nadine were beginning to teach the Backstreet Boys on being superheroes. A.J., Howie D, B-Rok, Nick, and Kevin were blindfolded and going through an obstacle course made from movie studio equipment. They were also embarrassed because they were being trained by a bunch of middle school girls, "Why do we have to do this blindfolded obstacle course?" A.J. asked
"Because," explained Faith, "to be a hero, you have to use good instincts. Go from Point A to Point B without breaking anything and without using your eyes."
One by one, the Backstreet Boys went through the studio obstacle course. After Nick made it through the obstacle course, Big G came in and he was surprised by the obstacle course, "What's going on?!" he shouted.
The Backstreet Boys removed their blindfolds and saw the angry studio owner.
"Studio obstacle course," answered Howie D.
"This is a TV studio, not a circus," Big G growled. "Now we only got two months until live broadcasts start. During the week, we film on what's going on in the lives of the dancers and on Friday nights, we film their dancing live in front of an audience. Lucky for you, you didn't get interviewed by The Ghost of Studio 25."
The Backstreet Boys and The Griff Gals were surprised because they didn't know anything about a ghost.
Big G explained that in 1958 when the studio first opened, there was a news anchor named Abraham Edwardson. He interviewed some of the best celebrities in Orlando and was a star. One day, he was about to interview a dance troupe and needed to get ready fast. With little time to spare, he grabbed a couture suit imported from Italy. But little did he knew was that the couture outfit can easily be caught on pointy objects.
As he was about to interview them, his suit got caught on a camera. A spotlight fell on him and that was the end of his life "Legend has it," he explained, "on cold winter nights, he seeks vengeance on TV stars for not warning him about the malfunction. There are three signs that approach Abraham's haunting. First, the cold air comes to a brewing, next sewing machines will activate on their own, and finally, the cameras start running and Abraham Edwardson comes out. So if you hear a sewing machine on at night, leave ASAP, and that's why nobody comes here after 8 pm."
The only ones that we're scared of it were Nick, Howie D, B-Rok, Dorothy, Ginger, and Faith. Kevin and Nadine found it silly and A.J. and Jessie found it as a daring challenge "Kev!" shouted A.J. "I dare you to spend the night there!"
"Not before I dare you first," Kev growled.
Big G didn't want to get involved in a boy band argument, so he left the building.

Later that night, Jessie and A.J. and Kevin and Nadine were at the studio, hoping to see if the rumors of Abraham Edwardson were real. The studio was locked, and they needed a way to get in. Kevin decided that they should sneak through the air vent, just like in spy movies.
After they snuck in, they decided to set up camp. While Kevin was placing down his sleeping bag, he thought about Nick, B-Rok, and Howie D being scared. *I hope they're alright*, he thought to himself.

Meanwhile, Nick, Howie D, and B-Rok took Dorothy, Ginger, and Faith to their beach house. "So this is your beach house?" asked Ginger, "It's prettier in person."
"It's Friday night," explained Nick, "Qnd we figure you guys could use some relaxation after all that training you did for us."
Faith, Ginger, and Dorothy couldn't wait, so they decided to look around the place. Ginger found the piano where Kevin plays the melodies, Dorothy was going through Nick's prank trunk and admiring them, and Faith was going around the halls when she found a picture of a younger Kevin on a farm.
"Is that Kevin as a kid?" she asked.
"That *is* Kevin." Nick answered as he and Howie D came in.
"Kevy-Kev grew up on a 10-acre farm," Howie D explained. "They had a lot of animals."
B-Rok came in, telling them that Dorothy has snuck into Nick's prank trunk, much to his dismay.
Nick found Dorothy looking at the view of the beach. "I love the view," commented Dorothy. "It looks like you can go water skiing, swimming, and surfing, and jamming to 'Bring Me to Life'."
Nick laughed nervously. "Easy, Bride of Frankenstein," he said. "It's only your first night."
Howie D came in with a checklist. "There are about six solo dancers and six pairs, so that makes at least 18 dancers total."
"Are you going over notes on the contestants?" asked Nick.
"I am," answered Howie D. "Kevin was supposed to do this, but thanks to that little dare with A.J., I'm doing it for him. So far for the solos, we got Elliana the swimsuit model, Kamila the tough girl, Lucille the party girl, Emmanuel the surfer, Matteo the dreamer, and Messiah the Broadway star."
"Go on," Nick replied
"And for the duets," Howie D replied, "we got Millie and Jax the ice dancers, Gabrielle and Jorge the cruise performers, Kaia and Kaden the twins, Amira and Josue the foreigners, Paislee and Remington the movie stars, and Madilyn and Emilio the rockers."
Nick and Dorothy knew that those were a lot of people. Having the feeling that Howie D could wear out from going over notes from who's who, they decided to help him out.

Back at Studio 25, Kevin and Nadine were looking around the prop room for the supposed ghost. They were both annoyed, because of the ghost nonsense. Then they felt a rush of cold air. Suddenly, a sewing machine started and the film projector activated. Out of the screen came a 1950s anchorman trying to grab them.
After Kevin and Nadine rushed out of the prop room in horror, two greaser ghosts came out, but only revealed to be A.J. and Jessie in disguised. A.J. and Jessie laughed, but Kevin and Nadine were annoyed by their little prank, "Very funny, you two," growled Kevin angrily. "What's the big idea scaring the pants off of us?"
"We just wanted to have a little fun," explained A.J., "and to see if you two can get scared."
"But there is one thing we remembered from the ghost story Big G told us," replied Nadine. "He didn't mention anything about greasers."
"We thought it would bring pizzazz."
Just then, a clank came from the "Let's All Dance Until We're Sick" studio.
"It's not you this time, is it?" Kevin asked A.J.
"We didn't plan on any metal clanking," explained A.J.
Kevin and Nadine believed them.
In the studio, they could see the Zimbakhe Brothers causing trouble in the studio. They knew that they would take the blame if they destroyed for the entire studio, so they decided to power up and stop the acrobatic siblings.
Backstreet's Back Alright.
A.J. changed into Ordanance, Jessie changed into Centauremerald, Kevin changed into Power Lord and Nadine changed into Merazul.

Back at the beach house. The others finished up the notes on the contestants when the Griff Girls pins started to glow and the Backstreet Boys started to sense danger. They remembered the whole Abraham Edwardson haunting and thought that Kev and Nadine saw the ghost. They had to get to the studio fast.
Backstreet's Back Alright
Ninja Man, Illusioner, and Top Speed rode their cycles, and Griffin Girl, Rubehane, and Diamondnix flew off.

By the time they got to Studio 25, they saw their friends fighting with the two brothers. Illusioner created an illusion of Ordnance and Centauremerald. The Zimbakhe Brothers fell for the illusion, and Top Speed Slam dunked them. While they were fighting off the Zimbakhe Brothers, Power Lord could see a leftover obstacle course equipment and got an idea, "Yo, Nick!" shouted Power Lord. "Heads up!"
Power Lord tossed the old spotlight, Ninja Man cut it in two, and the old spotlight bunked the brothers on the heads, knocking them out.
"Good job on using your instincts, Power Lord," commented Merazul.
"Like you said," Power Lord replied, "a good superhero always uses their instincts. I knew that they would get knocked out cold from being hit in the head with a half spotlight."
The others were proud of Power Lord's quick thinking.

After a quick clean from Rubyhane and Top Speed, they got out through the air dunce and placed it back together to avoid suspicion, "What I don't get is," said Kevin, "how did you pull off the ghost coming out of the film sheet?"
"We didn't," Jessie replied. "We were too busy getting our costumes on"
Little did they know was that the ghost was real. Abraham could see the Backstreet Boys and the Griff Gals in rage.

In the morning, A.J. and Kevin came into their beach house kitchen very exhausted, "You look like the Sandman struck you," Howie D said.
"A.J. and I couldn't get enough sleep thanks to what happened," Kevin explained.
Ginger got a little fairy dust, sprinkled it on some coffee and gave them to A.J. and Kevin. With one sip, they felt much better after what happened last night.

Two hours later, they arrived at Studio 25. By the door was Vincenzo, his parents, and his five-year-old sisters, Raquel and Rosalee. Vincenzo's father, Cristiano, who was also Big G's eldest son was head of the makeup dept, and Vincenzo's mother, Esperanza, worked at the place as a tutor for anyone under 18, "Did some of you guys spend the night at the studio?" asked Mrs. Guidi. "We got a call from the police's night patrol about a bunch of pretty boy bands members and two middle schoolers sneaking in to see the ghost."
"It was A.J. and Jessie's idea," Kevin explained. "They dared us."
"It's a good thing Officer Morse called us," Mr. Guidi replied. "Because my dad gets upset when someone spends the night at the studio. Another thing, I'm not going to press charges. My siblings and I did the same thing when we were kids. Though we didn't see the ghost."
"Now come and meet the dancers that will be competing in the competition," Mrs. Guidi said as she opened the door.
After they got to know the contestants a little bit, Big G came in seeing Kevin and A.J. well and calm. "So," he said, "any ghosts scaring ya?"
"Not at all," Kevin answered as he winked at A.J.
"Listen," said Big G. "Zarina told me that you guys spent the night at the judge's home and that you've been bonding quickly since last week. There are some people in the world who claim to be friends of celebrities, but actually aren't and you guys seem to be good friends."
All five girls looked at each other and nodded their heads.
"So it's settled," Big G said. "Every weekend during the next sixth months, Faith Booth, Ginger Chirohiro, Nadine Lyndon, Jessie Gomez, and Dorothy Hart get to stay with the Backstreet Boys on weekends."
Everyone cheered.

Later that day at the beach house. The Backstreet Boys and the Griff Girls were thrilled to have their first weekend together. To celebrate, they kicked off their socks and shoes and played around on the beach.
The End.
