There was a flurry of activity in our hotel room. It was approaching the time I'd need to get ready.

"What do we have left to gather?"

Draco's eyes roamed over the table. All of our work was spread out in organized chaos.

"You have the veritaserum?" I nodded, not sure if we would need it before we went back anyway. "The extra magical bindings are here." Those were an invention of mine a few years ago. They effect one's magical core to prevent wordless and wandless magic from working while in custody. Draco twirled his wand. "My wand is in working order and I'm feeling ready for a physical fight should it come to that. How about you?"

"I feel great. I haven't looked to see what Harry has left for a gown. May make things a bit more difficult depending on the style, but I feel ready to go."

"Shall we then?"

I agreed and be both began to get ready. It came time for the dress and I was pleasantly surprised. The feather gray gown was positively stunning. The bodice was fitted with a deep open back and a low V in the front before cinching at the waist and leading to a lightly flared skirt with a small sweeping train. Its base material was soft, flowy and silky, but the lace layer that flowed around it left a gorgeous floaty effect. I couldn't get over the gorgeous floral appliques that were delicate and intricate but also highlighted with what must have been some type of magical material that made parts of the flower shine. It was perfect for tonight and I was really looking forward to being able to wear it, even better, getting to take it home (we got to keep any mission clothing as it was fitted to us and our transformation) when this blasted mission was over. Maybe I would wear it to the ministry ball in a few weeks.

A few minutes later, I tugged on the matching heels and rejoined Draco in the sitting area. "Well, it's not exactly ideal, but at least it's not a mermaid cut like last time. I'll be able to fight if it comes down to it."

Draco, who had idly been fastening his cufflinks, looked up then. "Merlin! They certainly aren't trying to make it easy for me to concentrate. Are they? You look bloody amazing."

He approached me, his eyes taking in every inch of my form before lowering his mouth to mine. "When we are done with this, I am taking you back home and I'm going to enjoy taking my time with you. I'd take you here, but I want to hear you scream my name and I'm afraid that would blow our cover."

My thighs pressed together. Sure, we'd been fooling around a bit, but it wasn't quite enough. My need for Draco seemed to be growing by the minute. But he was right. This wasn't the right situation. I didn't want a shag on a work trip. I wanted to enjoy it without feeling the need to hold back or that something bigger was being held over us like it is now with the pressure of an arrest.

"Soon, love. Let's go catch Lestrange and if all goes well, we'll get the day off tomorrow and we will make up for lost time."

He actually growled as he kissed me once more before handing me a vial. "I'll be glad to be rid of this for a while."

I agreed as I drank mine down and adjusted to the change. When we finished, Draco took my arm and we both placed our hand on the invitation, which was the portkey to the event.

We arrived in the entrance to a grand ballroom. Couples queued up and each individual arrival was announced. Draco seemed at ease and I tried to be as well, but I doubted I would ever be able to flawlessly accept the attention the way he did. Admittedly, it did help a bit when undercover.

The party was in full swing with the dance floor open and plenty of drinks and appetizers floating around. We made our way back towards the gardens where it was a bit quieter. It was unlikely for Lestrange to be talking of his plans somewhere he could so easily be overheard by those who may disapprove.

It was only ten minutes after we arrived that I saw him. "Gio, darling, look at that flower over there. Is that a passion flower?"

Draco looked in the directions I was pointing. "Why yes, I think it is."

"Let's take a closer look. I think that might be what I have been looking for to fill the last spot in our gardens."

We made our way towards Lestrange under the guise of a closer look.

Draco admired the flower. "It is rather nice to look at I suppose. And it could be useful to have around. I think I saw it's useful in sleeping draughts."

I nodded and out of the corner of my eye I saw Lestrange. He was eyeing us as he listened to our conversation, clearly deciding on his next move.

As we continued to talk about our fictional garden and how this plant would fit, Lestrange made his move and began to walk toward us.

"Excellent taste in foliage." I turned as if surprised by his appearance. "Sorry, didn't mean to startle you. I just couldn't help but overhear. I happen to have quite a bit of these at my estate and they've come in handy for various potions. Forgive me, I am being quite rude. I don't believe we have met."

He stuck out his hand and Draco shook it first. "I'm Giovanni and this is my wife, Bianca."

Our names must have registered. "Ah, the newlyweds! I've met your parents way back when. We have a bit of history. All good, I assure you." He seemed to consider something. "Say, I have a project coming up that I think may be of interest to you. Several of us are meeting to discuss it in," He looked at his watch. "About ten minutes in the drawing room. We'll be done before dinner. Would you care to join us?"

I didn't miss that he hadn't actually introduced himself, though he seemed aware of who we were. "Perhaps. What kind of project is it?" I asked curiously.

"Ah, I don't want to give too many details out in the open here. The information is only for people I trust. I'll say it's a bit of a continuation on some events that happened awhile back and will help purebloods, like yourself, get back on top."

Draco and I shared an apprehensive look as if we were concerned.

"I know, it's a touchy subject, but I have it all planned out. Just come and listen to the details. If it's not for you, no worries. We will just go our separate ways."

We pretended to hesitate another moment before agreeing to attend.

"Great, see you there! I better go get ready."

My heart was pounding as we watched him rush off. "That almost seemed too easy."

Draco continued to look around making sure no one was close by to overhear us.

"Yeah, just keep your guard up. We could easily be walking into a trap."

I agreed as we waited another minute before setting down our glasses and heading for the drawing room.

Both of our senses were on high alert as we entered the large space. Chairs were spaced out and about 15 witches and wizards were already filling most of them. Lestrange was at the front of the room and was asking everyone to quiet and be seated. We took a spot in the back, staying quiet, but I knew Draco was as ready to go as I was when the time was right.

Lestrange wasted no time. "Some of you I have already had some more in-depth conversations with, and others, well this is our first conversation about such matters. Let me start by properly introducing myself." He swirled his wand around himself and the charms he had used disappeared.

Draco tensed and I grabbed his hand to calm him. We both wanted to jump and grab the bastard now, but if can wait just a few more minutes for him to reveal what he is working on, we can use our memories as evidence to charge him beyond his war crimes.

"Now that's out of the way. My name is Rodolphus Lestrange. Some of you I know quite well, others not so much, but I have selected you all for a reason. Hopefully you all remember Lord Voldemort's reign several years ago. I was heavily involved in his efforts and learned a lot from my time with him. It was most unfortunate he did not succeed. However, in the time since our Dark Lord's defeat, I have been taking the information I have learned and developing ways to continue his cause successfully so that our noble purebloods can reign once again. It's going to get messy; you need to be prepared to do what it takes for the cause. And I know you know what that means. For those of you that are new here, if this is not something you wish to support, now is the time to leave."

There was a timid couple in the row in front of us that tentatively rose and headed towards the door.

"Alexander, please assist this couple in getting back safely."

A man from the front row went to meet the couple at the door and I heard a muttered "Obliviate" before the open and close of the heavy, wooden drawing room doors. Just another crime to add to our list of offenses.

"Now that that is sorted, I thank you all for your commitment to the cause. I am confident with all of you help, we will irradicate all half-bloods and mudbloods and take our rightful place above muggles."

Now that Lestrange had spewed his hateful message with intent, and those remaining have shown that they are here of their own free will and support the cause. We had what we needed to arrest them all.

Draco gave my hand a small squeeze and I knew he was in agreement that now was the time to act.
