B-Rok and Faith were playing one on one at Kolton Dukes Park. After Faith did a slam dunk, she looked at her watch to see that it was time to go for the Sugar Rush expo. B-Rok was confused.

"I promised Ginger a 'Sugar Rush' item for her birthday," Faith explained.

"That's right," recalled B-Rok. "We're having her birthday at The Tiki Hut tonight."

"It's a good thing she and Vincenzo are going to see 'Sugar Rush 3: Hour of the Bread'," Faith replied. "It's the new time travel where Vanellope, Citrusella, Sticky, Torvald, and Nougestia traveled to the early days of the kingdom. By the way, how are the other Backstreet Boys?"

"Nick's got a guitar lesson with Ryker," B-Rok explained. "Kevin is helping out at the auditions for Myla's Music Class and has promised to write a few songs for her show, Howie D is giving a local acting troupe a tour of the studio and A.J. is helping out with the costumes for LADUWS. Don't worry, they'll be at The Tiki Hut for Ginger's birthday."

"That's good," Faith replied. "Nadine and Dorothy are going to help my parents put up the birthday decor."

Meanwhile, Jessie was at her family's bakery, The Cookie Rookie, decorating a birthday cake for Ginger. The cake was a double-layered chocolate cake with animals on them, symbolizing her love for nature, and it had ice cream sundae toppings on them because no one couldn't say no to ice cream. Jessie's parents, Emilia and Vicente, were getting out some cinnamon cookies when they walked up to Jessie.

"Mija," said Mrs. Gomez, "your promise to take Nella and MaKenna to the 'Sugar Rush' expo at The Greenburg."

"Just let me wash my hands, Mama," replied Jessie as she got to the sink.

"And you make sure they don't ruin the finishing touches for Ginger's birthday party," Mr. Gomez explained. "Remember when one of my old military buddies came to The Tiki Hut for their birthday and they were the first to get into the spice cake and ate it up?"

"They were just excited about the cake," Jessie replied. "And at least you guys sent him the cake recipe to cheer him up."

"That's true," Mr. Gomez recalled.

After they left to put out some banana nut muffins, Jessie was going through her father's old Vietnam War books. She sees one with him and an artillery gun, him visiting Hanoi, and one of him in a war rally in Washington DC.

Jessie remembered her papi telling her about his time in Vietnam and decided to get a little something for him at the expo.

At The Greenburg, B-Rok and Faith were both exploring the sugary expo. She told B-Rok that they did the Sugar Rush Miami Expo last year, and every year, Ginger always did something completely different.

"Do you have any 'Sugar Rush' characters?" B-Rok asked.

"I have two favorites," Faith answered. "President Von Schweetz, because he brings stuff to modern civilization much to Sour Bill's dismay, and Chaya "Chip" Crustulum. Chip is a tomboy and usually gets into more adventures than any other 'Sugar Rush' racer."

By the SR Boys booth, B-Rok saw a Latino boy doll with chocolate bar-themed apparel. "That's just a character from the New Millennium Crew, Choclatos Bartinez," explained Faith. "He specializes is baklavsketball and is a jock. It's like basketball with desserts."

This reminded B-Rok of two things. One, his love for basketball, and two, the times when he and his best bud Nick stole chips and chocolate bars while they were on tour.

Little did they know was that Dr. Zora was there. Not only she was a doctor of science, but a doctor of medicine as well. She summoned her old medical school friend and dental bounty hunter, Dr. Zev.

"Time for the next cavity operation," explained Dr. Zora, "Give these guys cavities so distracting that they won't notice the destruction of this puny planet."

"Right," answered Dr. Zev. "And this will hurt!"

In the expo, B-Rok was looking at the "Jubileena Bing-Bing" collectibles, and figuring that red was Ginger's favorite color, he could get her something red. There were so many collectibles to chose from, B-Rok started biting his nails, much to Faith's disgust. "Are you biting your nails again?" she asked.

"No," B-Rok lied.

After Faith placed away from a "Jubileena Bing-Bing" toothbrush, she saw Nella and Makenna dressed as the Corn Twins, Butterylee and Caramelody Cornitor. Jessie was taking their hands. Jessie explained to her that this was the only way to keep the girls from eating Ginger's cake. Faith found it reasonable to keep children from getting their hands in the cake.

At a "Sugar Rush: Hour of the Bread" stand, a suave Japanese man was handing out autograph pictures. B-Rok was confused because he didn't know who the man was.

"That's Masutaro Nishiki," explained Faith, "a 'Sugar Rush' marketer and one of the writers for 'Sugar Rush: Hour of The Bread'. He's here to display the latest 'Sugar Rush' book."

Jessie and Faith were amazed because it was rare to meet a 'Sugar Rush' writer. "Masutaro," called a reporter, "when are you going to publish your new book, 'Sugar Rush: Biscuithea and the Jolly Rose Ride'?"

"He publishes books too," whispered B-rok.

"In smaller companies or independent projects, they may be the creator or writer," Faith whispered back.

"We should give this note to Zanell," suggested Jessie.

But as they were ready to get back to present shopping, B-Rok sensed danger and Faith and Jessie's pins glew. Dr. Zev barged into the expo and started giving people cavities.

B-Rok, Faith, Jessie crawled into the "Sugar Rush: HOTB" table and were ready to transform.

Backstreet's Back Alright

On the ground, Dr. Zev saw a picture of the Black Tooth Grin Plunderers, the main villains for "Sugar Rush: BJRR."

"Don't spoil the ending!" shouted Top Speed. He started shooting fireballs at Dr. Zev while Griffin Girl sharted shooting firebolts. Unfortunately, Dr. Zev whacked the balls with a dental mirror. Using her 360 vision while helping the patrons escape, Griffin Girl saw her friend in danger and used her razor-sharp claws and destroyed the rebounded energy ball.

"Good catch, Griffin Girl," commented Top Speed.

"This is impossible," hissed Dr. Zev. "Looks like I'm going to have to kick things up a notch."

Dr. Zev started giving more patrons cavity troubles. The more he used his cavity gun, the more hurt the patrons got.

"This is going to be tough," sighed Griffin Girl.

Top Speed then remembered something. "Remember what you said about baklavsketball?" he asked. "Why don't we toss some baklava at him?"

"You mean," asked Griffin Girl, "give the doctor a sticky situation?"

Top Speed nodded his head. Centauremerald held Dr. Zev off with her archery, while Top Speed and Griffin Girl went looking for some baklava. It was difficult to find some baklava to stop Dr. Zev, but as they found some by a catering cart, they began tossing it like real basketball players. As quick as she could, Centauremerald snatched the gun from the honey-covered dental bounty hunter.

"Oh, no!" cried Dr. Zev. "I could get cavities too!"

Centauremerald put the gun in reverse mode, changed everyone back to their normal selves, and destroyed the gun with one kick in the air.

"I'm sticky!" shouted Dr. Zev.

"Hey!" snapped Griffin Girl. "That's Honettie Beezlebee's catchphrase!"

Dr. Zev rolled onto the toy models of Bisuithea Crumpeton's Snackamuffins, Choclatos Bartinez's Sugar Bliss, Blondane Goldenluck's Cake Zone, Butterylee's Mad Harvest, and Caramelody's Cool Magnolia on the ground and crashed into a replica of the "Sugar Rush" track, Sixth Scents, named after the hit Bruce Willis movie "The Sixth Sense." The manager thought it was his fault, so he decided to make Dr. Zev pay for the damage.

After that, Griffin Girl, Centauremerald, and Top Speed changed behind the cutouts of Bisuithea Crumpeton and Blondane Goldenluck and were back to their normal selves. By the "Sugar Rush" costume stand, they saw Nella and Makenna with a "Harmony Bites" makeup kit and an "Angelicus Wing and Halo" set. They paid for it, of course, with Jessie's wallet. She wasn't okay with it at first, but as they told them that the "Angelicus Wing and Halo" set was for Ginger, she smiled.

By a "Jubileena Bing-Bing" stand, B-Rok found the right present for Ginger.

An hour later, Ginger and Vincenzo were arriving towards The Tiki Hut. Little did Ginger know was that they were throwing a surprise party for her fourteenth birthday.

"Wasn't that a killer movie, Ging?" asked Vincenzo.

"It was sweet as cherries," answered Ginger. "I'm surprised that Howie D dubbed the Swizz's pop star older brother, Luccapop Malarkey. That scene where Luccapop was attacked by gummy bears? Howie D hates them now."

"Don't you have a favorite part?" asked Vincenzo

"Where Luccapop sang his smash hit, 'Mr. Teacoon'," answered Ginger.

When they walked into The Tiki Hut, a big welcome awaited them.

"Happy birthday, Ginger!" shouted everyone.

Ginger was thrilled that most of her love ones in the Orlando area were there. Hone wasn't there because she and her bandmates were busy rehearsing for another gig. Other than that, she was okay with the party just the way it is.

For her birthday, Ginger got the novel "Dreamer Square" from Nadine, a Bisuithea Crumpeton key chain from Dorothy, a hand-drawn picture of her from Nick, an autograph poster of Luccapop from Howie D, A $300 dollar Tranquility Treasure necklace from A.J., and a perfume bottle called "Songbird" from Kevin. As for Jessie, the cake was good enough for a present.

Then it was B-Rok's and Faith's turn to give Ginger her present. In the "Jubileena Bing-Bing" bag, Ginger pulled out a "Jubileena Bing-Bing" parasol. "I figured that since you used that old fairy umbrella so many times," said Faith, "you could use a new one. This one is very unique because you won't have to worry about losing it."

"Now that's taken care off," Howie D said, "let's perform 'Mr. Teacoon'."

B-Rok and Nick became the accompanist for guitar and drums for the song. As Howie D was singing, everyone dance and had a good time.
