Prologue:
Alakitasia, the super continent.
At least, it would have been considered one back on earth.
It was a massive continent, the only known one in the world among the populace outside of a very distant one that's said to be too dangerous for intelligent life.
The name of the continent probably wouldn't get your attention.
But the city at the center of it would.
The city of Orario, the dungeon city where the tower of Babel stands.
The city of adventurers seeking fame, fortune, and/or glory.
A place from fantasy with its own harem focused anime around a little boy.
But the anime never really expands on what else there is outside the city.
The continent was massive with the city of Orario smack dab in the center of it like a marker.
The city was sitting in the center of vast plains that go on to the horizon.
To the far north west, the Elsos Ruins. The ruins of an ancient civilization said to be still haunted by an evil spirit. A no man's land.
To the far north, the Dragon Valley, one of the three unexplored regions of the continent.
To the far northeast, the Empire, one of the largest nations on the continent that often wages war with its neighbors.
To the north, before the Dragon Valley, the harsh cold and freezing climate was home to various tribes of were beast races.
And between the cold area and the city of Orario was a stretch of mountain ranges and large forests home to the elven tribes and kingdom while the mountains were commonly populated with monsters.
To the far west, the kingdom of Rakia ruled by Ares. A warmongering nation where strength rules supreme.
To the far south west, the dry and treacherous Kaios Desert. Home to the merchant city at the far western end and the entertainment kingdom at the far south. An area of the continent where slavery is constant and the sands are home to vicious monsters.
To the far south east, the island kingdom of Amazoness's off the coast of the continent, Telskyura. Ruled by the goddess Kali and where no man is allowed to go.
To the far east, the literal island off the eastern coast of the continent called the 'Far East' where the Shinto pantheon rules.
Between the east and southeast directions, on the continent itself, the mountain range where the dwarven kingdom stands beneath the massive mountain called Mother Mountain.
And that was only the larger and more important land marks of the continent.
Numerous races and tribes littered the lands in between.
Small towns and traveling caravans that can only survive under the various kingdoms jurisdictions and at threat of bandits and slavers.
The continent was wide and full of things outside the city of Orario.
But Orario was special.
The dungeon aside, which is a unique and treasured location on the continent as a whole, the city is not ruled by any kingdom or race.
The city is free and open to all races and people.
It's an independent city, the largest independent city on the whole continent.
For the most part.
For the city was where Oranos was. The primordial god of the sky.
No matter how many of the divine descended from the realm of Heaven to the mortal realm within the last 1,000 years, no one dared to cross the primordial.
The city was his territory, and the guild his organization.
However, he was a neutral element.
He only cared for the dungeon to be consistently challenged by mortals and for order to be upheld in his city to a certain extent.
How it happened he did not care.
The divines who were wise enough to act throughout the years under his umbrella took hold of the city, their influence unquestioned.
With the dungeon at their disposal, their Familia's grew more powerful than any other on the continent and with the Familia's never stopping their dungeon diving, Ouranos stayed neutral.
So while the city was listed as independent, it was truly held by whichever top Familia's existed at any given time.
But the Guild was the sole organization in charge of the dungeon, and therefore society was built around the Guild.
The economy of Orario was built around the dungeon, the Guild, and the adventurers.
Even though the city's population of those with a Falna could be said to only be around 10%, the other 90% lived by an economic system that relied on them.
It was truly a unique city on the continent.
And while most stories would begin in said city, this one didn't.
No, this story began far away.
Hardship and challenges befell the main character of this story.
The main character, a young man, ripped from one life and dropped in another.
A young man currently sitting in a bar in Melen, a fishing city located three kilometers southwest of Orario.
It had taken three years to reach this point.
Three long and crazy years in the southern regions of the continent.
He sat at a table in the back with his boots up on the edge of the table and himself rocking back on a chair as he stared off without truly looking at anything.
He was a tall male, around 6'2 with tan olive colored skin and a large mane of spiky white hair hanging from his skull.
A carved body, filled with muscle built through combat and ordeals rather than stationary weights. Tan combat pants and a black tank top adorned his form.
Black fingerless gloves, orange sashes around each wrist, and an orange belt ran around his waist.
Hanging from an ear was a feathered earing.
Very few scars adorned his exposed skin but a large white colored tattoo rested on his left shoulder.
It was a fierce tribal bears head and arms seemingly protecting two snakes entwining around his shoulders and a rabbit in the center.
It was a very unique tattoo that held meaning solely to him.
And finally, the eyes looking off into the distance and yet not seeing anything had golden irises.
He was a very strange looking and yet very attractive male in an exotic way.
Like a beast you don't often see in the area.
And a beast was a good way for people to describe him.
He had no were beast features and yet gave off an almost invisible aura of a beast. One that unsettled the other customers in the bar.
As the seconds ticked by, the aura seemingly kept growing to the point that the more sensitive beast races were getting up to leave when the door to the bar was kicked open harshly.
A figure walked in and rose a brow at the atmosphere before sighing fondly and grabbing a fork off a table before throwing it at high speeds toward the man.
"Oi, wake up you idiot."
The man unconsciously acted as his hand moved from behind his head and snatched the fork between two fingers.
He blinked in surprise before his eyes turned to the approaching figure.
"Hey love, how was the shopping?"
His voice was casual and his eyes roamed affectionately over the figures form.
A young woman who could almost be mistaken for his younger sister if not for certain features.
Tan olive skin, a whiter shade of hair, and a similar get up of boots, combat pants, and a black sports bra tank top standing at 5'4.
Femininely defined muscles ran along her form and a prominent six pack stood proudly on her soft and luscious skin.
But her defining trait were the pair of rabbit ears on her head.
The young woman vaulted over the table and landed squarely on the young man's lap while expertly expelling the force on his legs rather than between them and proceeded to smack his shoulder lightly.
"It was as fun as always, meaning it wasn't fun. Now reel in your battle lust babe and stop making others uncomfortable."
The man blinked at her words and only then turned to see the bar's occupants staring at him in annoyance.
He awkwardly rose a hand in apology.
"My bad, how about a round of drinks on me huh?"
The hostility decreased with that and nods went around before people returned to their business.
The man sighed while the woman laughed.
"I swear Marik, I can't leave you alone for an hour."
The man, Marik, gave her a disgruntled look.
"I'm bored Rumi."
The woman, Rumi, smirked and ran a hand along his stomach.
"We could always head back and have some fun~."
Marik chuckled and shook his head lightly.
"With you love, the phrase going at it like animals has two meanings."
She smirked toothily.
"Both seem the same to me."
The two looked at each other for a moment before they laughed and shared a kiss.
Rumi laid her back against his chest while he adjusted his weight to keep his balance on the chair.
He wrapped a muscular arm around her waist and the two just sat there in peace for a moment.
"As much as I want to go back and have a good fight and lay, the others wouldn't be very happy."
Rumi scoffed.
"Please, they would join us."
"Yeah, and then when the clarity settles in, we will get our ears shouted off for delaying our trip, again."
Rumi crossed her arms and grumbled.
"What the hell's the rush, we'll get there when we get there."
Marik shrugged his shoulders and kissed the top of her head bringing a soft smile back to her face.
"It was their destination in the first place love, and it's ours as well. They are simply rightfully excited. As much fun as it is to explore and see the world, our Falna's have been progressing at a snail's pace since we hit level 2. It will be nice to have a dungeon full of monsters to fight."
As soon as he said the last line, Rumi's ears perked up in excitement and smacked him in the face.
"Ow."
She ignored him and a similar aura of battle lust began oozing out of her but was stopped when Marik squeezed her a bit and brought her out of her thoughts.
"Ooh, sorry, you got me all excited at the thought."
Marik smiled fondly.
"Is my little battle maniac excited to fight endless waves of monsters?"
Rumi hmphed and kicked his leg with her powerful legs and made the chair they were on groan.
"Shut it babe, you're not much better you damn berserker. When's the last time we could actually cut loose?"
Marik's hand twitched with a soft light as the pain in his leg vanished and hummed.
But before he could answer she added.
"In combat, not in bed."
He dropped the finger he was raising with a smirk and answered.
"Not since that quest we took to get rid of the nest of wyverns."
"Oh, right, those dumb arrogant flying lizards."
Marik withheld a laugh.
Rumi was pretty pissed that day when she couldn't reach her enemies since they could fly and wouldn't fight directly.
The sight of her hopping around and flailing in the air trying to reach them was adorable and got securely saved in the memories of those watching it.
"Yeah, but it's been at least three or four months since then. And even longer since I could thoroughly satisfy my battle lust. It's a good thing I have you girls."
Rumi smirked and tilted her head to look up at Marik.
"Ha, imagining you without us to reel you in and calm you down is like imagining an awake Behemoth."
Marik gave her a deadpan look as she stuck her tongue out at him only for it to be caught by his own mouth as he leaned down and captured her lips.
She laughed into the kiss as he chuckled and pulled away.
"Perhaps love, but I truly fear for the poor soul that any of you girls would meet when angry or stressed without me around. At least the younger twin would be fine but you or the eldest?"
Rumi laughed and kicked her legs in the air happily.
"We would probably compete to see who can kick them farther."
Marik put his palms together and stated with a serious face.
"RIP those poor tail bones."
Rumi jokingly slapped his chest in mock outrage.
"Oi."
The two were smiling at each other just as the door to the bar opened again and two more figures entered and spotted them before walking over.
"Why am I not surprised you ran here Rumi?"
"Ahaha I want to cuddle too!"
The two figures were two equally beautiful women to Rumi with tan olive skin but that's where their similarities stopped.
One standing at about 5'7 with green eyes and long brown hair while the other stood at 5'5 with medium length black hair and brown eyes.
The two were wearing revealing clothing, only really wrapping cloth around their assets while the taller one wore a short skirt.
Rumi scoffed at the taller of the two.
"I hate shopping Tione, you know that."
The taller of the two, Tione, rolled her eyes fondly and sat down in a chair next to Marik before leaning in and giving him a kiss with metaphorical hearts in her eyes.
"Hey babe."
"Welcome back love."
She smiled widely and pulled away from the kiss to see the smirking face of Rumi and rolled her eyes before leaning in again and laying a kiss on her lips as well.
"Hello to you too traitor."
"Hehe what did you expect?"
Tione leaned back in her chair with a fond shake of her head just as the other figure vaulted over the table and in a similar action to Rumi earlier landed on her lap.
The chair beneath the now three members groaned much louder and Marik eyed it worriedly.
"Hi guys!"
The chirpy and jubilant voice of their final member called out before she dove in to kiss both of them.
Rumi shook her head.
"You have to much energy Tiona."
She just smiled cheekily and laid her back against the wall while still sitting on their laps.
"I'm just excited to finally reach the city."
Tione rolled her eyes.
"Yeah right sis, your always this hyper."
Tiona stuck her tongue out.
"Not true! Tell her Marik."
Marik smiled wryly and gently laid a hand on Tiona's head.
"It's who you are love, we all love that about you."
Tiona giggled under his hand and the smiles of the other three.
Tione and Tiona were amazons and twins.
The two ran into Marik and Rumi and got saved from a tough situation over a year earlier and have been traveling companions ever since.
At some point in their journey, the four became something more than simply friends and allies and love bloomed.
A love between the four equally rather than a harem of a single individual.
Well, Tione insists it's Mariks harem while Rumi insists it's her harem and Tiona eggs on either side into a fight while watching the chaos from the sidelines until Marik calms them down.
And for the four of them, calming down means a fight or wild animalistic sex.
It's simply a nature all four share that makes them more wild then normal people.
And as mature and powerful eighteen year old's, they were able to live life as they wished.
Their bonds were strong and their love stronger.
And as Marik looked on fondly at the loves of his life, both his lives, he couldn't help but think about how it all began.
His struggles and transmigration in a world far from the one he once knew.
A deadly and unwelcoming world.
All because of a wish.
A wish he didn't think through all the way.
Chapter end.
