It was raining outside and it was almost closing time at The Tiki Hut. Mrs. Booth was polishing and cleaning the tables and waving goodbye to the customers. Looking at the date on the calendar, she knew what was going to happen and wasn't okay with it.
In a booth, B-Rok, Nick, Faith, and Dorothy were having chili cheese fries with broccoli and apple juice for dinner. A sad Mr. Booth came in with some smores for dessert. Faith was annoyed too because she knew what this meant, her father is having the annual company camping trip.
"Did you finish your homework?" asked Mrs. Booth as she came up to check on her daughter and niece.
"No worries, Mom," Faith replied with a smile. "We did them during free period because of what today is."
"We got school tomorrow," Dorothy replied. "We don't have time for camping, and Uncle Max seems to be in a bad mood."
Mr. Booth was indeed sad because he was supposed to do a camping trip, but it got canceled due to the rain. Then Faith remembered that she had a storebot smores maker she had for her eighth birthday. Luckily, Faith brought just in case her dad gets disappointment from the rain. Seeing his daughter's smores maker, Mr. Booth smiled. Everyone gathered around and started roasting hot dogs, marshmallows, and bananas.
"I've been to soccer camp," B-Rok explained to some of the campers. "Even when it rains, we can still have fun."

Outside, two weather reporter Zallegreans named Zariah and Zaylee were assigned to electrocute the good patrons of Orlando.
"For our next forecast," Zariah said, "100% chance of electrocuted citizens of Orlando and 1 million% chance of the annihilation of Earth."
"That's right," replied Zaylee. "It's time to kick up a storm."
The two wicked weathergirls started summoning lightning and wrecking havoc.

Inside, Nick was telling the story of the Chained Princess, which was a story Dorothy taught him from the legends of Hart Castle.
Years ago at Hart Castle, the Chained Princess was a lovely princess that believed that she could marry for romance. All of her dresses were black and white and had chains on them. One the night before she was supposed to marry her prince, she caught him cheating on her with the richest lady in the land. The princess was so angry, she got tangled in the chains on her dress and died from choking on them.
Every year when there was a full moon in the summer, the Chained Princess rose up and sought revenge on handsome men for cheating on her. There were four signs to the rise of the Chained Princess. First, a rush of cold air would rise. Second, a trail of blood would lead the victim to the room where the princess caught her fiance cheating on her. Third, sounds of chains wrangling would come out of nowhere. And finally, a figure in a black and white wedding dress would come and kill its victims.
Just then, Mrs. Booth came out and terrorized the children. "I remember the Chained Princess from when I was a little girl," she chuckled. "In fact, this was the same story where McKenzie met Winston."
"Mum was at the annual Hart Castle Summer Sleepover in '71, and Grandpa Peyton was telling the story for Winston's father Emanuel, who had throat surgery," recalled Dorothy. "My mum got so scared she hid by a tapestry. You and Daddy both checked on her to see if she was alright. After Daddy cheered her up with some chocolate-covered biscuits, she felt much better."
By the window, Faith and Dorothy saw the two space weathergirls were causing trouble.
"We're going to go outside to calm things down, Aunt Alayna," stated Faith.
"Good idea," replied Mrs. Booth. "Uncle Max is going to tell the story of Ma lalo o ke kiʻi ʻeleʻele, meaning the underwear of the Black Tiki, which causes non-stop laughing."
As B-Rok and Nick giggled at the silly name, they left to stop the evil aliens.
Backstreet's Back, Alright!

Griffin Girl, Diamondnix, Ninja Man, and Top Speed followed them to The Miracle Mansion Dinner Theater thanks to a little tracer dust power. Inside, they found the two of them spying on the patrons, who were watching a play production of "West Side Story." Before the two space reporters could attack the good people, our heroes attacked them. Ninja Man did a few quick-punches, Top Speed shot orange energy bolts towards them, Griffin Girl breathed fire, and Diamondnix shot out ice.
Then Griffin Girl got an idea. "Remember the Chained Princess?" she asked Top Speed. "Maybe we could use the signs of the ghost to scare them away."
"Good idea," Top Speed replied. "But where are we going to find some red stuff?"
Top Speed spotted a waiter with some ketchup bottles. He asked if he could borrow them, and the waiter said yes.
After Diamondnix made some cold breezes, Top Speed jumped up and squirted ketchup, Diamondnix made some ice chains and gave them to Griffin Girl and Ninja Man, who started shaking them. Zariah and Zaylee started becoming scared and teleported back to Zator's castle.
Top Speed placed the ketchup bottles on the host's podium, and the heroes took off.

By the time they got back to The Tiki Hut in their civilised forms, it was campfire song time. Mr. Booth got out his ukelele and started playing his song. He was a great ukelele player, but a dreadful singer. Alayna didn't care how they got wet; she needed to stop her husband's dreadful singing before everyone at The Tiki Hut resigned.
"Don't worry, Mrs. Booth," B-Rok said. "Frick and Frack are here to save the day."
"The power of Top Ninja Speed," Faith whispered to her cousin.
"And the power of charming love," Dorothy whispered as she started staring at Nick lovingly again.
B-Rok and Nick both interrupted Mr. Booth's dreadful singing with their acapella version of their song "Shining Star."
"I prefer the Earth, Wind & Fire version better," Mr. Booth groaned.
"Max," Mrs. Booth interrupted, "perhaps we should let Faith sing. She's been working on a little song she did from her songwriting classes."
"I've written a luau/campfire song from my songwriting lessons with Kevin," explained Faith. "It's a little silly, but I hope you guys like it."
Faith started playing her guitar while Dorothy, Nick, and B-Rok started clapping.
Uncanny reef of the light
Where the fishes take a fright
I hope you get the moral
Beyond the black and grey coral.
Oh a great black dolphin
Where have you been
Are you near, are you far
Uncanny reef
Water of the blue
Where I can see the view
Making a great barrier screw
For a shoal down the shore
You're a nighttime wave to adore
Everyone cheered for Faith's campfire song. "Nice job, Faith," commented B-Rok.
"Kev taught me the best," replied Faith.
After everyone looked at each other in concern, they decided that after their camping trip with B-Rok and Nick, they had enough campouts for The Tiki Hut.
"Believe me," Mrs. Booth answered, "Max's done this every year and they all ended in disaster. Max always tells the worst scary stories, always brings electronics to camping and forgets his bee allergy cream, and his horrible singing scares away the other patrons. The only three things good were the food supply, and that we camped in Kolton Dukes Park."
"This is why Dad wears latex gloves when it comes to honey dishes," explained Faith. "Whenever someone orders a honey dish, Dad puts them on in case of an allergy attack."

The next day, it was bright and sunny at Sally Ride Middle School. The girls were all talking about what they did during their rainy day yesterday. Ginger and Howie D went to the grand opening of Leoworth Shore: Indoor Water Park; Nadine, and Kevin met Infini-Tres, Orlando's earlier protectors; and Jessie took A.J. to her karate class.
"There's only one thing left this week," said Faith. "The Miami weekend trip."
The End
