On a Saturday morning, our heroes were getting up and having cherry French toast with a side of banana pudding, and chocolate milk, "This is delicious" commented Faith, "Ice cream sundae breakfast platters."

"Courtesy of Mr. and Mrs. Kazuma, hosts of Up The Cakes" "You girls needed to get warmed up for your Spring Dance tonight."

"I'm glad that my mom got let us come for free and that we're allowed to bring guests" Ginger smiled.

"You mean" Howie D smiled, "You're going to ask Vincenzo?"

"You bet," answered Ginger as she took a bite of her French toast

"And what about you, Nadine" asked Kevin, "Are you going to ask Jalen."

"I could" Nadine answered nervously as she blushed, "But I can wait til we get to Studio 25."

The Backstreet Boys, Faith, Ginger, Jessie, Dorothy, Selah, and The Penguins looked at each other and smiled, believing that Nadine can do it.

Later at Studio 25, Matteo was meditating when he spots E-Wave with a shark skateboard. On his helmet were stickers that are similar to Nick Carter's tattoos, "What are you doing with the skateboard" asked Matteo as he placed on his sandals, "Big G doesn't allow skateboarding in the building."

"It's for a parking lot stunt I did for Nature Week," answered E-Wave, "Did you know that skateboarding was invented by surfers?"

"I did" Matteo replied, "I had a few guy friends who skateboarded back in Colorado and some were a bit cute."

"Yuck" E-Wave growled, "Don't you ever think about doing wrestling for a change?

"Dude" E-Wave replied as he took his hand, "I'm a lover, not a fighter. Not as much as I love-"

Just as he was about to say whom he loves, he bumps into Messiah, "Messiah" asked Matteo, "Did you get a pimple on your face again."

"What" asked E-Wave, "If you're in love with Messiah, so be it."?

Little did they know, is that Howie D and Zanell saw the whole thing through the cameras, "Poor E-Wave" Howie D said with a frown, "Rejected romance by a hippie."

"You may think wrong" Zanell said, "Because I've interviewed Messiah during his confessionals and it turns out he's straight. Whenever he sees a gay man flirting with him, he makes them look like fools."

"Like he's doing now?" Howie D asked as they saw Messiah stealing Matteo's glasses.

"Your the peacemaker, Howie" said Zanell, "You better talk to Matteo on what he did was wrong."

In the dressing room, Howie D explained to Matteo about breaking E-Wave's heart by confessing his feelings for Messiah and ending up being humiliated. As Matteo adjusted his glasses, he had a major confession to make, "The confession was not for Messiah," shouted Matteo, "It's for E-Wave"

Howie D was surprised, because Matteo has been crushing on E-Wave since Day 1 of LADUWS. Matteo explained to him that his parents were super strict and never let him do anything colorful like painting, play music, and made herbal soaps. Also, they were completely homophobic and when he came out after high school graduation, Matteo moved out and moved to Florida so he can start over.

"You know what this means" said Howie D, "We got to find E-Wave."

On the set of Pleasant Beach, E Wave was feeling sad because Matteo confessed is love for Messiah. Onstage, he could see Vincenzo and Ginger feeding swans when Ginger placed a note in the bucket of swan food. As Vincenzo picked up some of the food, he spotted the white piece of paper and read it.

With one look in her red eyes, Vincenzo nodded his head and hugged her.

E-Wave remembered that back in high school, he never went to dances because he was outcasted for being gay. "Will I ever love again?" E-Wave asked himself.

Little did he knew, is that Skipper, Private, Kowalski, and Rico were feeling bad about E-Wave and the false rejection, "Poor E-Wave" Private whispered, "He's so confused."

"According to my calculations" Kowalski said, "There's a 75% percent chance that we'll fix the misunderstanding."

"And the 25%" asked Skipper as Kowalski showed him footage on a little Danger Monitor.

On the monitor, Matteo was being kidnapped by a bunch of Surfer Zallegrean , "Yo, Freaky Dudes" said Matteo, "Kidnapping is so old school."

"Quiet hippie" shouted Zaria dressed in dark hippie apparel, "All your love will be gone in a slippy."

As Ginger and Vincenzo got offstage, Ginger's pin glew, "Yo Ging" shouted Skipper, "We got a Code Groovy."

"Code Groovy" asked Ginger, "As in, "Matteo is gone"

"Go for it, Ginger" Vincenzo said as he gave her a motivational kiss.

"Thanks" Ginger replied as she took off to save Matteo.

Vincenzo looked up to see if E-Wave heard them. Fortunately, E-Wave was too depressed to notice the talking penguins and Ginger wandering off.

Outside the studio, Ginger met up with The Backstreet Boys and The Griff Gals. They were there because they sensed danger while they were interviewing a reporter from Japan, "Where do you think those space surfers would take Matteo" asked Nick.

"Think of any place that a group of space surfers would take a hippie from Lee Heights" suggested Kevin as they started thinking.

Remembering that her dad was a Vietnam War veteran and that Matteo worked at an organic bathing supplies shop, she started to think that he might be hiding in the abandoned soap factory, "During The Hippie Movement" said Jessie, "A group of people protested against non-organic chemicals. Having enough of hippies, the company shut it down."

"What are we waiting for" asked Faith "Let's Make Love Not War"

Meanwhile, The Zongo Drum Circle was forcing Matteo to dance for entertainment, "How does it feel to dance with the Zongo Drums" asked Zaria, "Does it make you feel a little less bum?"

"Actually" replied Matteo, "This ain't cool, girl. I would like SO want to be free now."

"To bad you Flower Power Freak" Zaria growled, "And don't even try to sneak."

Outside the abandoned soap factory, Selah could see a tortured Matteo, "Looks like Matteo is being used for entertainment."

Down below, Top Speed hopped to the top with Rubyhane, Griffin Girl, and Diamondnix flying up to him. Then Diamondnix made an ice elevator for the others to catch up in. After they got up, Griffin Girl said, "It's time to crash this party."

"Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride" shouted Selah as she started attacking The Zonga Drum Circle Gang, "Till I get to the bottom and I see you again"

Illusioner then casted an illusion of meat, much to The Zonga Drum Circle Gang's dismay, "What is wrong with you nature brats" Zaria growled, "Let's take down these uncool cat."

After he took down Ordnance, he spotted a bag of with a big piece of old cheese. He tossed the bag in the air, shot it out of the bag and caused the cheese to fall down. The Zongo Drum Circle Gang couldn't stand the horrible smell and they teleported back to Zalgea, "How dare you ruin my drum circle party" growled Zaria, "This is what I call, "A Broken Hearty" I'll get you next time you Cyber Dork, and i'll bring some more bounty hunter work."

As soon as Matteo removed his glasses, The Backstreet Boys and The Griff Gals changed back. Selah and The Penguins hid behind an empty box to avoid exposure "Like" said Nadine, "Are you okay, Matteo"

"I'm fine, girl" Matteo answered, "Hear you like totally want to ask Jalen to your dance."

"I know" Nadine replied, "But I don't know if he'll say yes."

"Don't worry" Jalen appeared from behind, "I've been wanting to ask you too, but I didn't want to get distracted by LADUWS and "Other Things""

With one look, Nadine took his Jalen and accepted his offer, much to the joy to the others, "What a knight in shinning armor" Ginger commented

Later that night, The Backstreet Boys were decked out in blue tuxedos and waiting for The Griff Gals. Suddenly, The Griff Gals came out in beautiful dresses. Faith wore a black dress, Ginger wore a red dress, Nadine wore a blue dress, Jessie wore a green dress, and Dorothy wore a white dress with a beautiful hat, "I love your bonnet" Nick commented, "Especially the lilies."

"This is my mom's" Dorothy explained "She sent it to me so I can look good on special occasions."

Later, they arrived at Sally Ride Middle School where they spot Vincenzo and Jalen wearing tuxes similar to Agent K and Agent J from Men In Black "You girls looked beautiful" commented Vincenzo as he took off his glasses.

"And you really know how to pull off dresses" Jalen commented.

Ginger and Nadine blushed.

Inside, they saw that the dance's theme is, "Spring Up With Nature". They had a lamb-themed cake to represent innocence, chick balloons to represent new life, and flower petals as guidance.

As the DJ was playing Britney Spears. "Oops... I Did It Again" , Howie D got an idea, "Hey" he said to his follow Backstreet Boys, "Why don't we surprise the audience with our musical act? Remember when that song we did for The Princess Diaries with Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews"

After the DJ performed the song, The Backstreet Boys asked him to perform What Makes You Different (Makes You Beautiful). Seeing the five dollar bill Howie D gave to him, he played the song, "Okay folks" Kevin said on the intercom, "It's time to take things slow."

Faith, Ginger, and Dorothy stepped out of the way for the slow dance while Ginger and Vincenzo and Nadine and Jalen stayed in for the dancing. Nadine and Jalen looked into each other's eyes and kissed.

Outside the cafeteria, The Dancers watched the couples dance passionately. Mr. Brand and Zarina invited them over to supervise them. As they were looking at Nadine and Jalen, E-Wave and Matteo acidentally held each other's hands. They looked into each other's eyes and blushed, "About earlier today" Matteo said.

"No need" E-Wave said, "Cristian and Zarina explained the misunderstanding and I knew that you meant to say, "I love you, E-Wave" and you know, I love you too."

With one blush, Matteo kissed him on the cheek, much to the delight of everyone, except for Messiah and Elliana.
