Today is my sweet, sweet twinnie's sweet, sweet seventeenth. Since the other thing I wrote for her cannot be posted here –cough cough- I took my 'wife's' (XD) example and did a little sappy drabble.

It was the small, quiet moments in life that Kai treasured the most. The dramatic ones were there to throw emotions in your face and assault the senses, but, while more exciting, Kai liked the supposedly insignificant moments more.

Tears, desperation and pain caused action and reaction. Crazy moments and uproarious laughter bought about realisations at how silly it all was.

"Why are you staring at me?" Rei asked from across the kitchen table, wiping breadcrumbs away.

Kai smiled. Yes, he would take the 'mundane', every day occurrences. They made him comfortable

"No reason." More importantly, they made him content.
