Hello everyone!

I tried writing in first person perspective to see if it captures the character's personality, behaviors and thoughts better. Please tell me if it is good or I should stick with third person.

Without further ado,

PokeSlave Trainer

I hope you enjoy my works.

Chapter Three "Hope"

Shirou Emiya

"NNNNNnnnnnnnnOOOOoooooo!" I shouted in disbelief and despair as I stared doubted my very eyes at what had happened. This cannot be happening! I have to be seeing things. Right!?

I wanted to deny it but the evidence was in front of me. Unless I assumed that everything that I had just seen and heard the last couple of minutes had been a nightmare or illusion then… Everything that had transpired had to be real.

My hands quivered as I reached over to… something that I would have once thought as a toy designed to look like a fictional object from the Pokemon franchise. Time seemed to come to a crawl as my hands finally reached the pokeball that Rin had disappeared into.

With bloodshot eyes, I stared at my surroundings. My eyes gazed upon the security guards and Nurse Joy, deciding which one should be my first target. It didn't matter if the security guards had only been doing their job. They had stopped me from saving Rin from being… caught by a pokeball!

My eyes focused on Nurse Joy the most. At least the security guards had an excuse while I could think up why Joy had thrown the pokeball before explaining to me what necessitates such actions.

Just thinking about what Joy had done made me want to kill her because if my fears were confirmed… I quickly shook my head. Where did the thoughts of killing her come from!? I shouldn't have even considered killing Joy as it wasn't like she had killed Rin.

I was about to make the decision on what I was going to do when I was interrupted.

"What on Earth is going on here?!" Oak shouted as he abruptly entered the room.

The confused Oak checked the room, and I watched with great fascination while wondering what Oak's thoughts were. I was a stranger in another world so Oak likely knew the reasoning for Joy throwing a pokeball at Rin.

"Nurse Joy please tell exactly what happened here? Don't leave out anything." Oak demanded politely.

I got the vibe that Oak seemed to have a general idea. My attention was soon turned to Joy as I wondered why she had thrown the pokeball at Rin. If my suspicions for Joy's actions, which had not been out of malicious intent, were true then I might… let her off from what she had done.

"I don't understand why the man you brought in acted so violently, Professor Oak." Joy replied in a baffled tone as she shook her head. "His pokegirl was suffering the backlash of attempting to free her from the Taming Mechanism. Everyone knows the cure for stopping the backlash is using a pokeball to capture the suffering pokegirl. So, unless the young man has been living under a rock then he should have known what I do and not act so violently."

"What do you me-!?" I blurted out furiously and stopped talking mid-sentence when Joy, the medical staff and security guards looked at me strangely.

Professor Oak coughed. "Young Emiya," said Oak as if he was trying to hide something embarrassing, "has indeed been figurative living under a rock for all his life. He has been living in one of the legendary Utopias…"

"No way!"

"The mythical Utopia is actually real!?"

"The legendary Utopias…"

"I got to tell everyone that I got to meet a Utopian!"

I was suddenly greeted with a myriad of reactions that I might imagine Arturia might receive from the British if her identity as King Arthur was revealed or Heracles being worshipped by the Greeks. My curiosity to ask what this "Utopia" they kept referring to was suppressed as there was a possibility such an action might blow the convenient excuse that Oak had created to explain my ignorance regarding Joy's actions of using a pokeball on Rin.

"That explains everything." Nurse Joy remarked as if she had been enlightened. "I apologize!" She shouted as the nurse bowed her head. "What I did must have looked like I was kidnapping someone you knew and when I called the security guards it would seem that I was trying to stop you from rescuing your friend!"

I nodded as that was exactly what I had thought. "It's okay," I said with a friendly smile, "now that I know that you didn't throw the pokeball with malicious intent."

My mouth froze up and no further words came out when I had been intending to say more. The pokeball nearly fell out of my hand before I grabbed it and threw it. I felt as if I was a fool and quickly threw the forgotten pokeball that had been in my hands the entire time.

I waited with bated breath as the pokeball popped open and a white light appeared. The white light started to gather and a familiar outline appeared before turning into my girlfriend. I sighed in partial relief as there seemed nothing wrong, at least physically with Rin. My anxiousness got worse when my fears of possible consequences of the effects the pokeball might have had on Rin's mind.

"Did you need me, Shirou?" Rin asked.

I detected subtle hints of annoyance in her voice as if I had interrupted an enjoyable vacation. I frowned. Were my fears misplaced? I had been scared that Rin might be in danger. The fact that she seemed healthy and unharmed pointed out that I had likely been too paranoid.

"Are you feeling, okay?" I asked just to make sure my girlfriend was fine and ease my paranoia.

"I feel perfectly okay. I hope you had a reason to interrupt me…" She replied in a slightly annoyed tone. "Relaxation session."

"Relaxation session." I repeated, and for some reason I felt a sense of dread coming to me.

Oak interrupted and said, "Many Pokeboys and Pokegirls find that staying in a pokeball to be an enjoyable experience. Hence, some don't come out of their pokeballs unless they are called out."

My mind was washed with a sense of relief after hearing Oak's explanation but for some reason I still had lingering suspicions. It was almost like an annoying wood splinter stuck in my body. I shook my head and dismissed my paranoia. Professor Oak had confirmed Rin's statement. There was no reason for me to worry anymore on the matter.

"Argh." I rubbed my head in embarrassment. "Could you heal them?" I asked while pointing at the injured and unconscious security guards I had left in my rampage.

"There is no need!" Joy called. "It was my fault for not explaining what I was doing when I threw the pokeball. We can handle the injured, after all we are a medical facility."

"This is the very least-"

"As I said-"

"Nurse Joy," said Oak in a loud and firm voice, "accept the young man's offer. He will continue to feel guilty about hurting the security guards unless you let his pokegirl heal them."

Joy looked at Oak then me before sighing. "Fine. If only to stop you from feeling the guilt of hurting the security staff."

Rin gave me a questioning look but she quickly started healing the security guards that I had injured or knocked unconscious. I watched in amazement as Rin used healing magic. She was extremely good at it if the amazed looks of the medical staff staring at Rin was anything to go by. My girlfriend if she decided to pursue the healing arts would excel at the job. She had after all been able to revive me by reconstructing my heart that had been my heart destroyed and Rin had to overcome Gae Bolg's potent anti-healing magic.

After several minutes of treatment, all the security guards had been healed that the only evidence of my rampage had been the damage I had caused to the rooms.

"Is there anything else you need, Shirou?" Rin asked in an eager tone.

- O -

Rin Tohsaka

"Is there anything else you need, Shirou?" I asked eagerly while trying to hide exactly how happy I was for more orders.

It was wrong. The feeling that I was having of wanting to make Shirou happy. Well, not completely. The strength of my desire was. Shirou had just recently become my lover so my feeling for him should be more akin to a newly lit fire that was rapidly growing, not the overwhelming bushfire of wanting to serve him. Rationally, I knew the very likely reason why I wanted to make Shirou happy and serve his every need. It was likely due to my newfound pokegirl biology that was now ingrained into my very essence.

Yet, despite knowing the reason why my eagerness for order from Shirou was so strong, I couldn't resist what was likely manipulation of my emotions and thoughts that was occurring due to my altered genome.

I remember quite vividly the happiness I felt when I had healed the security guards at Shirou's orders. The rewarding feeling I had felt was like when my parents – when they had been still alive – asked me to do something and they showered me with praises but multiplied several times. It was so exquisite the feeling of obeying that it might have been an addictive drug that I had just gotten hooked into.

"Can you also repair the damages?" asked Shirou.

"No problem," I smiled as I got to work repairing the damages.

Happiness radiated from my core as I finished repairing one damage and moving onto another. I would sometimes glance at Shirou and his nod of approval or smile would spark pleasure within me. That only inspired me further to work harder as while I might not gain some material reward like money, the addictive feeling of happiness and pleasure was more than enough to motivate me.

"All done," I replied with a smile. "Any more work?"

I watched in anticipation, watching every movement of Shirou's body. It was several seconds later that he would respond with the shake of his head. My emotions nearly exploded when I wanted to demand for any work.

"A good slave obeys. A slave exists only fulfill a master's needs." Shirou's voice… No! The Fake Shirou's voice echoed in my mind as my anger was quickly smothered.

Fake Shirou had been someone I had been trying to avoid thinking about at this time, which had been a success for most part until I heard the voice again. It triggered a strong sense of yearning as my pussy moistened and my nipples and clitoris hardened just remembering my… time in the pokeball. I shuddered as I remembered the happy part of the experience.

Suppressing the memories of a certain event, my eyes lit up in excitement as I looked up at Shirou.

"If there is nothing to do then please return me to my pokeball!" I shouted eagerly, hoping the earlier suspicions that Shirou had shown about the pokeball had disappeared.

"Okay," said Shirou after glancing at Nurse Joy and Professor Oak as if looking for confirmation that there was no danger. They each nodded. "Rin," he announced while pointing the pokeball at me. "Return!"

I nearly jumped in delight when I saw the red light come out from the pokeball. As the red light hit me and I started to glow, the sensation of shrinking and my essence change didn't last too long. I soon found myself sitting on someone's lap and having my head patted.

"Good girl!" A voice cooed.

A moan nearly escaped my lips as pleasure rippled through my body. My hands balled into fists and toes curled for a moment before relaxing. It felt so good and much better then when I had obeyed Shirou to heal the injured security guards or fix the damages he had caused.

"You did an excellent job," the voice continued to coo and pat my head. "This is a good start, Sapphire."

I bit my lips to suppress the moan. My head slumped in dismay as the pleasure finally washed over me and I no longer had to bite my lips. It was so embarrassing what was happening to me right now. I was being treated like a pet, and I was going to play along.

I don't have a choice! I shouted in my mind but I felt a sense of guilt wash over me. I tried to resist but failed. This is just me pretending to act to fool …

"Master," said Fake Shirou, snapping me out of my thoughts and I turned my head to look at Fake Shirou with surprise. "You will address me as Master."

Did he just read my thoughts? I thought in alarm.

"Maybe I am?" Fake Shirou replied with a sly smile.

I nearly believed him for a moment before quickly banishing those thoughts. I might be unable to use magic but that didn't I couldn't protect my mind. Otherwise, I would have been long ago brainwashed into an obedient slave and Fake Shirou wouldn't be wasting time trying to grind away my resistance in hopes of me submitting.

"Now, repeat after me." continued Fake Shirou. "I must be a good girl for Master. Good girls obey their master. Good girls don't resist their masters. I must do as Master commands. I must not resist."

My elbow was about to hit Fake Shirou's chest when lust washed over me. I started to pant as my pussy got wet. The tips of my clitoris and nipples were the first to harden until the rest were poking out. It was happening again! The damn trick that he had used in the past to subdue me.

"You bas-!" I growled in anger but I moaned as Fake Shirou grabbed my breasts and kneaded while using his thumb and index fingers to pull at my nipples. "Argh! Stop this at~! Argh!"

I threw my head back as my toes curled and relaxed. My cheeks went red. It was so disgraceful that I closed my eyes but not before looking at the puddle of love juice beneath me.

"How embarrassing!" Fake Shirou smiled. "All I did was touch your nipples a little bit and you came so quickly."

I wanted to glare at Fake Shirou and scream, "it's all your fault!" Yet, I didn't speak my mind. That was playing into his hands. He was after all taunting me. So I closed my eyes and pretended that Fake Shirou didn't exist.

"Are you sure you want to do this? All you have to do is repeat a few words." Fake Shirou asked in a not so friendly tone. I continued with not acknowledging his existence. "Well then… It's going to be ruined orgasms, pain or maybe a little bit of both!"

Wait…!? What?! I screamed in my mind in disbelief as my eyes snapped open. My mouths were about to open when Fake Shirou made his move. I tried to speak but no coherent words came out, only bestial noise when he unleashed heaven and hell upon me.

- O –

Shirou Emiya

I watched as Rin smiled before she glowed red and turned into light. My pokeball snapped shut as the red beam withdrew. I brought my pokeball to eye level and stared at it. I couldn't help but feel suspicious once more despite the past assurances that there was nothing wrong with the pokeball.

"Rin is really not any danger, right?" I asked, glancing at Oak and Joy.

"That is correct." Professor Oak nodded. "She is in no danger."

I continued to stare at Oak, looking for the smallest signs that he might be lying to me. As I scrutinized Oak, I didn't miss Nurse Joy signaling at the medical and security staff to leave. My scrutiny continued until I felt that Oak wasn't lying to me. I would go on to ask Nurse Joy the same question and receive the same results.

My heart relaxed and started to beat normally once more as my suspicions were once more proven to be all just a figment of my imagination. Still, I preferred to be overly cautious than to be blindsided by a problem that I could have prevented. This was after all Rin I was worried about. It didn't help the fact that I had learned what Rin had become that had gotten me all paranoid lately.

"Is it okay if I reveal the truth?" Oak asked as he looked at me.

"What truth?" I replied in confusion.

"That you and Rin are not from Utopia."

"Oh." I suddenly remembered what Oak was talking about. "What is this Utopia that you and Nurse Joy keep referring to, Professor Oak?"

"If you're not from Utopia then where would you come from? Only Utopians would be ignorant of Taming Mechanism backlash and how using a pokeball to capture the suffering pokeboy/pokegirl is the cure to the backlash." said Joy in disbelief.

"They come from another world." Oak chimed in.

Joy stared at Oak as if he had gone mad. "Another world? Do you want me to believe something as preposterous as that!?" She snapped. "Claiming the young man is an amnesiac is a better excuse than saying it is otherworlder."

"Utopias are isolated realms where Pokeballs and related technology, Pokemon, Pokeslave and etc are said to not exist. Actually, a better way to describe them would be miniature worlds similar to your Earth that you told me about." Oak explained to me.

I glanced over to the angry Joy, who was infuriated by Oak ignoring her. Joy looked like she was going to explode. She managed to hold her anger for several seconds before it blew up and launched into a stern lecturing.

"You should have told me that my patients were otherworlders." Joy huffed as she finished with her scolding. "I could have avoided the situation of being misunderstood and having many of my staff injured if I had known."

"Sorry," grumbled Oak. He turned to me and asked, "Do you have any questions for me or Nurse Joy?"

"So…" I drawled as I recalled everything that I had learned so far about the new world I found myself in. "There is absolutely no hope in restoring Rin back to her normal human self?"

Oak shook his head. "Sorry, there is no cure. I would have heard about it if there was."

The nurse stared at Oak in disbelief. "What do you mean by that, Professor? Aren't there rumors about Pokeboys and Pokegirls being restored to their former human selves?"

"Did you…?" Oak started to laugh. "I cannot believe you are refuting your previous statement."

"That is what the League officially claims," said Nurse Joy as she rolled her eyes. "I am sure that there have been successful attempts to reverse the Pokeboy and Pokegirl transformation. The only reason why it isn't widely known is that all the successful attempts have been covered up."

"I cannot deny that there might have been one or more successful cases of Pokeboy and Pokegirl being turned into a human. The world is a very big place and people have been trying for centuries." Oak grudgingly conceded. "Although, I have found no evidence besides baseless rumors to suggest anyone has been successful in overcoming the Taming Mechanism."

"So, there is no chance of finding a cure?" I asked.

Nurse Joy glanced at Professor Oak with great interest, fascinated by how the Professor would respond.

Oak had a troubled look before he sighed. "I shouldn't tell you this, and if anyone asks it wasn't me." He paused for a moment. "Any real information regarding the Taming Mechanism that makes Pokeboys and Pokegirls separate from humans is heavily restricted. The amount of information is determined by your standing with the Leagues."

"Don't you have a high standing with the Leagues?"

"That would have normally been the case if it wasn't for Professor Oak's outspoken and public support of Pokeboy and Pokegirl rights." Nurse Joy sighed. "His research could have made him into a very wealthy and influential man but he instead used it as a resource to ensure Pallet has self-autonomy from the League. Pallet's iconic status as Pro-Pokeslave Rights haven is all thanks to him."

"Anyway…" Oak coughed uncomfortably and he shot Nurse Joy a look. "There might be a way…"

"What is it!?" I shouted urgently.

"If you win the PokeBattle Championship then you might be able to return your friend to her former human self." Oak replied.

I looked confusingly at Oak.

"It is said that whatever wish you have will be granted if you become the PokeBattle Champion." added Nurse Joy.

Hope grew within my mind. Finally, there seemed like a cure for Rin's…! I quickly squashed the happiness of finding a cure. A sense of uneasiness, that I hadn't recognized at first, had been growing alongside the happiness for resolving Rin's predicament. I had only noticed the uneasiness when I finally found out where the uncomfortable feeling that I had only just noticed about had come from.

The teeth grinded against each other and I balled my fists, nearly smashing the closest thing in frustration.

Fighting. Check. Battle Royal. Check. Wish. Check. Winner gets their wish granted. Check. The checklist met all the requirements of a similar event I life-defining event: the Fuyuki Holy Grail War. A bloody and ruthless battle royal where the one in charge of keeping the rules enforced cared nothing about the innocents caught in the crossfire but only with keeping the secret of the supernatural a secret. What made me furious the most was the Holy Grail, that was supposed to grant the wish. It was a Monkey's Paw. Any wish granted would create death and misery.

"I think you are confusing the PokeBattle Championship with a terrible tournament that is not regulated properly or many people die in." said Oak as if reading my mind. "The PokeBattle Championship is not completely bloodless. Serious injuries do occur often." He conceded. "But! Deaths are a completely different story. They happen incredibly rarely. It is not unheard for a PokeBattle Championship to not have a single death."

The hope that I had nearly extinguished lit up, roaring to life as it grew in size and ferocity. My eyes lit up and my expression lightened as I looked towards Professor Oak.

"Is this how the PokeBattle Championship is run…" I spoke up and asked about what I remember about PokeBattles from playing the video games and watching the anime of Pokemon.

"For the most part, that is correct." Oak nodded. "There are a slight few differences in the rules to accommodate PokeSlaves." He was about to list them when Nurse Joy interrupted.

"He can know about that later," chimed Joy. "You need to get a PokeTrainer license first before anything. The exam is pretty harsh and these are some of what you need to know…"
