Scene: Zeira Corp- The Basement
Sarah (choked up): He's gone
James: Why didn't you follow him?
Sarah (fighting back tears): I couldn't go with John. I had to let him go.
James: I understand
Sarah (looking at her watch): It is time for us to pick up Savannah from gymnastics.
James: I am Savannah's designated guardian if anything bad happens to Catherine. You don't have any egal rights to Savannah.
Sarah: Savannah trusts me. Savannah considers me to be a second mother figure.
James: You are a criminal that is a fugitive. The law requires for me to report or arrest you.
Sarah: I saved your life once.
James: But still
Sarah: Derek and Charley are dead. I don't have a home. I don't have anyone else that I can depend on.
James: I appreciate your kindness, but I must separate myself from you. Savannah deserves better.
(Feeling hopeless, pitiful, and defeated, Sarah retreats to the shadows of James' mind. She encounters a Kyle Reese look alike on the street. They fall madly and crazily in love with each other. John is born via a home birth nine months later on December 28).
