Scene: The Connor Reese House
(The doorbell rings and John answers the door)
James: Hello, Son
John: I am not your son
James: You will be my son by this time next year
John: I'll doubt it
Sarah (hugging and kissing James): I love you
James (focusing only on Sarah): I love you too
John (annoyed and irritated): We must talk right now
Sarah (curious): About what?
John: Our future
(John escorts James and Sarah to the living room where a solemn Derek and Cameron await them. John, Sarah, and James sit down on the couch.)
Derek (to James): What are your intentions with Sarah?
James: I have good intentions. My plan is to marry Sarah someday.
Derek: Why do you want to marry Sarah?
James: Why are you interrogating me?
Cameron: You might betray us
James: This is nonsense
Derek: What is nonsense?
James: I don't understand why you and Cameron believe I will betray your family
Derek: You betrayed us before in the past. I recall you sent your friends after us at one point.
James: I never gave away your location to my colleagues. I don't know how those police officers tracked you down.
Derek: I'll doubt it
Cameron: Me too
Sarah: I love James very much. You must give him a chance.
John: James is a police officer. My dad is stirring in his grave right now.
Sarah: Your dad would probably wanted me to remarry.
John: You and my dad were never married.
Sarah: Your dad gave you to me. I felt married to him.
John: Have you told James about your grim prognosis?
Sarah (taken aback): What grim prognosis?
James (worried, he holds Sarah's hand): Do you have cancer?
Sarah (choked up): I don't have cancer. I can't have anymore babies. John's birth took a hard huge toll on my body.
James (choked up): I understand
Derek: Sarah can't have anymore babies. This revelation is probably a deal breaker for you.
James (touching Sarah's stomach): I can pray for God to reopen Sarah's womb and heal her lady parts
John: OH MY GOD!
