It was a Thursday afternoon and our heroes were getting ready for dance rehearsal. Before they could begin, they saw that something was missing. "Where's Dorothy?" asked Sarai, "We can't start without her."

"Last I heard" recalled Ryker, "She was in the green room going over some old videos of The Backstreet Boys."

"She better not be smooching a miniature sized Nick Carter" chuckled Lewis, "Otherwise she'll turn into Bride of Carterstein!"

Everyone glared at Lewis in rage, "Faith" Sarai said to her, "Go get your cousin before she turns into Scarlett O'Hara"

"You got it" agreed Faith.

Ginger, Nadine, and Jessie came along too, in case there's any magical creatures or aliens running amuck.

What Sarai said about Dorothy was true. She was in the greenroom watching some footage of The Backstreet Boys' debut in 1993. On the video, was The Backstreet Boys singing Loverboy. "Oh Nick" sighed Dorothy "Even when you were twelve you were adorable."

As Faith, Ginger, Nadine, and Jessie walked through the door, they saw Dorothy staring at the video lovingly, "Nick-struck again" guessed Nadine.

"I'm afraid so" Dorothy answered, "But no worry, nothing but a little Tween Bleep Magazine would help control BWS."

When Ginger looked up, she saw the boys performing Star Search gig, "Isn't that The Backstreet Boys on their Star Search gig" asked Ginger.

"It is" Dorothy answered, "Mr. Guidi owns a few copies of their debut. You girls just missed their Channel 6 News debut."

Seeing this, Faith got an idea to treat the boys for their hard work as superheroes and to thank them for helping the makeup dept., the choreography, and being judges.

In the makeup dept., Mr. Guidi was doing makeup for actors for the Princess Dynamite Patrol costume commercials. Raquel and Rosalee were both playing the leading ladies as the girls who can't make up their minds on the costume. Raquel was dressed as Scarlet Cloak and Rosalee was dressed as Blonde Destiny "Look at us Daddy" shouted Raquel, "We'we supewhewoes."

"Easy you two" Mr. Guidi replied, "You girls just had your potty break and you both did the commercials dressed in your regular clothes."

"I'm telling you girls" Faith said from outside, "This is going to be the best surprise ever."

Raquel and Rosalee have powerful hearing, which they got from their late grandma. As they barged out into their costumes they asked, "What suwpwise are you pulling?"

"Raquel, Rosalee" gasped Faith, "We're repaying The Backstreet Boys for all their hard work these last few months by paying tribute to their early days."

"They didn't become the greatest boy band of all time overnight" Dorothy replied, "I've been studying up on them since their Fully Booked appearance a few years ago."

"Are you talking about the golden days" asked Mr. Guidi, "When they were a homage to New Kids On The Block?"

"That's it" Dorothy replied, "And didn't you show your dad The Backstreet Boys?"

"Did you Daddy?" asked Raquel.

"That's right" admitted Mr. Guidi, "I've showed videos magazine covers and fan art of them. I especially liked the one of them dressed in their own clothing. The drawing was so amazing; I made actual outfits based on them. Dad was constantly annoyed by teenage antics, so he hired them to keep the teens from bugging them."

"You know Mr. Guidi" replied Ginger; "You should get involve in keeping the boys from finding out about our surprise performance."

"Really" asked Mr. Guidi as The Griff Gals nodded their head.

After rehearsal, Mr. Guidi and The Griff Gals explained to the other backup dancers, Sarai, Zarina, Cristian, Jalen, Elyse, and Langston about their little plan. Everyone agreed to the surprise performance, except for Lewis, because he thought it was rather lame, "If you losers need me," he said, "I'll be doing jigsaw puzzles of The Godfather"

After dinner, Raquel and Rosalee did the Princess Dynamite Patrol commercial. By the time they finished shooting the Princess Dynamite Patrol commercial, they spotted A. J getting some water. With one look at each other, the twins decided to do one thing, "Dog pile!" they shouted as they dog piled on A. J.

"Easy Tweedle Cute and Tweedle Adorable" laughed A. J as The Twins got off him" Why are you both dog piling me?"

"We'we pwacticing ouw doggie piling" exaggerated Rosalee.

"Yeah" Raquel replied, "Becawse is we want to be on creatuwy pet show, we got to dog pile."

When A. J spotted Big G coming from the set of DJ Rise's Soundbooth, he got an idea, "Dog pile on Big G" asked A. J.

"Dog pile on Big G" answered The Twins as they dog piled on him.

"Get your terrible tattoos off me!" growled Big G as they got up, "This is why I can't allow any of my children and grandkids to get a tattoo, they're a sign a spooky creeps like you."

"Don't insult A. J like that Gwandpa" shouted Raquel.

"Yeah" shouted Rosalee, "He's fwieldly."

During the next two days, The Twins played Pin The Tail On The Donkey with B-Rok, a broccoli fight with Kevin, played hide and seek with their teddy bears and Howie D, and played Princess Dynamite Patrol with Nick.

On Friday afternoon, the boys were feeling annoyed and confused. They were in the green room discussing the strange attempts, "Guys" B-Rok, "What's the idea of the LADUWS dancers pestering us. Even Raquel and Rosalee seem to be involved."

"No worried, Bri" A. J replied, "Those two cool kitties know how to dog pile."

"Just hope there isn't a fire hydrant here." groaned B-Rok.

"No hydrants here" answered Skipper, "But there are some, ugh, Kabooma Mushroom Monsters are attacking the patrons at Lake Eola Park."

The Backstreet Boys thought it was a little weird, because they didn't sense danger anywhere. Though they decided to go anyway to see if it's not another trick.

"Kabooma Mushroom Monsters" Kowalski whispered to Skipper.

"It was Rico's idea" whispered Skipper.

"Okay Zanell" whispered Private on his Rainbow Monkey walkie-talkie, "The Five Angels are in Heaven"

Hearing this through the Rainbow Monkey walkie-talkie, Zanell knew that they fell for their little trick, "Okay everyone" she said to the backup dancers and the remaining contestant, "We only got one hour til showtime. Grab some food now and meet back here."

As everyone was getting ready, she turned to Cristian, "This is going to be the best repayment ever." she said with a smiled, "My father only repays his guards by yelling at them in rage, breaking their confidence."

"Harsh" Cristian replied softly, "Your old man should learn to be more appreciative. My dad always was thankful when I finished his behind chores for him."

Meanwhile, The Boys were at Lake Eola Park looking for the, "Kabooma Mushroom Monsters". Unfortunately, there were none to be seen, "We should get back to the cycles and back to Studio 25" suggested Kevin, "We can't keep Zanell waiting."

By the time they got back to the hovercycles, Private was practicing his ballet and humming to I'd Do Anything. Recognizing the tune, they marched up to the little penguin and glared at him, "There are no Kabooma Mushroom Monsters are there?"

"Not really" admitted Private, "We made the whole thing up to keep you guys distracted and ignorant. Zanell's orders."

Suddenly, The Backstreet Boys started to feel something bad "Don't get upset because we lied." commanded Skipper.

"It's not the lie" corrected Howie D, "It's that danger is near. Real danger."

"Hoover dam" growled Skipper, "It must be another bounty hunter after The Amulets"

"According to my calculations" Kowalski said, "Zenza is nearby with a bounty hunter that involves paparazzi."

"Then let's give them a photo session" exclaimed Nick

Backstreet's Back Alright

By the swan boats, Dr. Zora, Zenza and Zaria were disguised as park rangers while a tacky-looking man started taking pictures of couples making out. "Doesn't that make you an Ugly Duckling" guessed Top Speed, "Don't disrupt the lovebirds."

"Hello Backstreet Boys" greeted Dr. Zora evilly, "This is Zeremia. Photographer for Ztroptat Teens Magazine and master of invading people's privacy."

"Girl" shouted Illusioner, "That's stalking!"

After a few ninja sword fights, swan boat lifting, energy balls, swan lake dancer illusions and lasers, Ordnance got an idea, "Hey guys" he shouted, "Pin The Tail on the Crazy Clown"

Hearing this, Top Speed knew what to do. He used Zeremia's scarf as a blindfold and aimed the balls at the three aliens, "Slam down" shouted Top Speed as he took off the scarf.

"Broccoli fight!" shouted Ordnance as Power Lord tossed trees at him.

"Hide and Seek with teddy bears" shouted Ordnance as Illusioner made illusions of giant teddy bears.

"Play Princess Dynamite Patrol" shouted Ordnance as Ninja Man as he used a sword and took down Dr. Zora's weapons The Fairytale Way.

"Now for the final touch" Ordnance smile, "Dog pile!"

"You didn't tell me that The Cyber Crusaders get ideas from little children!" shouted Zeremia, "I'm out."

After she teleported back to The Zallegro Galaxy, The Backstreet Boys powered down and headed back to Studio 25.

Back at Studio 25, the boys were arriving towards the set of LADUWS. After Mr. Guidi got Faith and Dorothy into makeup, he bumped into The Backstreet Boys, "We know about your attempts to surprise us with your songs." admitted A. J, "Thanks to a little birdie."

Mr. Guidi didn't care how he know about their attempts to surprise them, but was glad that they came back before the show started.

During show time. Lewis did a tap dance routine to Rain On The Roof. Just as they got to the final, "Listen To The-" verse. The lights went of and green spotlights were going around like crazy. Then the music to Get Ready came out of nowhere.

"Ladies and gentlemen" Jalen shouted, "The Golden Days of Backstreet Music"

Jessie did a hip hop to Get Ready, Ginger did a tap to I Got To Get It, Nadine did a ballet to I'd Do Anything, and Faith and Dorothy did a disco to It's A Game.

The boys were amazed on how The Backup Dancers pulled all of the stunts off and how they kept it from them over the last two days. Selah, Kehlani, and The Penguins were under the table eating some doughnuts, "Those were some really cool tricks The Girls pulled" commented Kowalski pulled, "All so they can repay The Backstreet Boys."

"And you got the griffins of your dimension to add the music footage" Private asked.

"My mom is the firefly editor of Backstreet TV, my dad is the director of Backstreet TV, and our royal firefly keeper, "Izaiah" is the executive producer."

In the audience, they saw the grand finale of the show. All the dancers, except for Lewis, came onstage and danced to the song of The Boys' first music video, "We Got It Going On". During the performance, The Griff Gals pulled the boys onto the stage while dressed in the costumes based on The Twins' Drawing and ended the whole thing with a balloon drop.

The End.
