Rita, Lynn Sr. and Lily were arriving at Great Lake City, heading straight for the Apartment Complex they know Ashe was recently living in. As the approach the building, a question arrives in Lynn Sr's head.
Lynn Sr:"What are the chances of Lincoln being here?"
Rita:"We saw him with Ashelin in the video, and this is where she's been living for the past four years."
Lynn Sr:"If only she had just gone through with her sentence, none of this would be happening."
Rita:"I'm surprised she even broke out of prison at all. But at least she hasn't caused too much trouble...until now."
Getting out of the van, Lynn Sr took Lily in his arms and then heard her stomach growl.
Lynn Sr:"Maybe we oughta get Lily something to eat."
Rita:"We'll check inside for a vending machine."
Heading inside, the two were about to find a snack machine when the overheard a conversation coming from those two girls, Marie and Jocelyn. What caught their attention was the fact that it sounded like they were talking about Ashe.
Marie:"(curling hair with finger) I'm so glad that tomboy hasn't been around over the past couple of days."
Jocelyn:"Yeah. And remember what that mean little punk did to you?"
Marie:"Don't remind me. He's just lucky I didn't call the cops on them."
Rita:"Excuse me, who are you talking about?"
The parents and Lily approach the two snobs, to which Marie and Jocelyn cringe at the sight of them.
Marie:"Who wants to know?"
Rita:"I'm Rita, this is my husband Lynn. We were wondering by any chance, who happen to know a girl by the name of Ashelin Ghram? She's our niece."
Marie:"Oh. A little bit. If you see that little prick, tell her that she can go and dig her stuff out of the trash."
With the two girls laughing snobbishly, Rita wasn't gonna have it with the two as she approaches Marie and grabs her by the shirt, lifting her up and scaring her. It also surprises the heck out of Lynn, who covers Lily's eyes to not let her see.
Rita:"You listen and you listen good. That girl is with my son and daughters, and they could be in a lot of trouble if they weren't already. Now tell me if you know where she is."
Marie:"I-I-I don't know! I haven't seen her in a while. But you're never gonna believe what that little white haired freak she was with did to me!"
Lynn Sr:"And this point, we'll believe it."
And with that, Marie and Jocelyn lead them over to the counter, where they see the security footage from outside the building about a week ago, provided by the building's front desk worker. It had audio, so they could hear Marie making fun of Ashe, all the more reason to not like the girl, but they were shocked to see that Lincoln did in fact throw a rock at Marie's face.
Lynn Sr:"Okay...in Lincoln's defense, he was defending Ashelin."
Rita:"But he should know better than to throw rocks at random strangers."
Lynn Sr:"Looks like we still got some searching to do."
And it was then that all of a sudden, a pair of police man show up. They see the four looking at the security footage and it peaks their interest.
Officer:"Hey. Play that again."
The front desk worker does what he's told and plays the footage again. It surprised the cops, seeing the footage of Lincoln throwing the rock at Marie's head.
Officer:"Is that your son?"
Rita:"Well...yes. We're looking for him."
Officer:"Mind if we come with you?"
Lynn:"I suppose not."
Then Lily's stomach rumbles again.
Lynn Sr:"...After a quick snack."
They head over to a vending machine and get a juice pouch for Lily.
At the hospital, it's only been an hour since they checked themselves in. The rest of the group were already feeling well rested, while Ashe and Lincoln were taking more time to recover from what they've been through.
Lori:"We should head out and make sure we haven't been followed."
Zella:"Good call. How long do you think those two will be here?"
Luna:"With any luck, probably not that long. We'll come by later and pick them up."
Zella nodded as they were getting ready to leave. Leni went over to her brother and give him a hug "goodbye". Lincoln returned the hug and ran one of his hands through his sister's hair...
Leni:"We'll be back as soon as we can. Okay, Lincy?"
Lincoln:"Okay. I'll see you later, Leni."
And with that, both he and Ashe were left in the hospital to recover. Lincoln knew he should still get some rest, but there was still something on his mind that was bugging him a lot.
Lincoln:"Ashe..."
Ashe:"Hmm?"
Lincoln:"Didn't you say you once broke out of prison?"
Ashe:"...Yes. It happened four years ago.
Flashing back to the time Ashe was prison in the middle of nowhere. The prison was for males and females alike, yet nothing separated the two as the guards didn't care what they did, they were just there to keep any prisoners from getting out. It was a hot and burning desert, with dozens of prisoners doing anything to pass the time outside, whether it's working, playing basketball or even trying to kill each other. Ashe preferred staying in her cell than being outside, since it was cooler, albeit being humid. Back then, Ashe had shorter hair and had no potbelly to deal with. She wore a prison uniform, which contrasted of a blue button shirt over and white undershirt, well-worn blue jeans and brown shoes, and on the left side and back of the shirt was her prisoner ID Number: #1435. She was laying down on a cot, staring up at the ceiling while having a simple thought on her mind.
Ashe:"This reminds me of a movie...but at least, I'm getting out of here alive."
And then suddenly, a few cells away from hers, an explosion occurred which set the entire place on high alert. Ashe got up on her feet to see the one responsible for the explosion was running her way. It was a middle aged man, around 49, with grey hair and a short beard, a single blue since the other one was permanently closed with a scar over it. He wore the same uniform as Ashe's, except his prisoner digits were #0248. Ashe recognized the guy, as his real name was Chester. But the man didn't give Ashe a second glance as he had a gun in his hands and was running to make his escape.
The blast also managed to destroy the door to Ashe's cell, as it fell off it's hinges. Ashe took a second to process the fact that she was free before she ran out the open door.
Ashe:"Not what I planned, but I'll go along with it."
As she ran through the halls, she prayed to God to not get so easily caught. Soon enough, she found a crowbar to defend herself as she continued to run.
Ashe:"I don't think this could get any better for me."
Pretty soon, did guards in fact show up and Ashe didn't really want to waste time fighting.
Ashe:"Out of the way, boys!"
One smack of the crowbar after another, did Ashe managed to get all the guards out of her way. She was extremely confident, thinking that she would be able to escape so eaily.
Ashe:"I'm heading home baby!"
But as she continued to run, she took a moment to look outside a window see that the whole prison was going up in smoke. Out in the courtyard, were some of prisoners fighting against the guards with guns, fists and weapons alike. Ashe couldn't believe it, and it made her wonder who could've orchestrated this whole thing.
Ashe:"God. How could this happen?"
Little did she know that the man who would be hunting her for the next several years was in this prison as well. Reginald sat in a prison cell, motionless and with his eyes closed. The entire place shaking was enough for the man to open his eyes and walk to his cell. Without a word, did he pull a pick from his pick and managed to undo the lock to his cell with ease. Reginald stepped out of the cell, and was almost instantly confront by a guard, pointing a glock in his hands.
Guard:"Freeze! Back in your cell, asap!"
But Reginald did not comply as he back handed the guard in the face, elbowed him in the gut and the knocked him out with one punch. Reginald took the gun from the guard's hands and began to make his way through the prison. As he did so, but accidentally bumped into another prisoner, who turned out to be Ashe. They looked at each other confusingly for a second before Ashe gave a sheepish look as she ran away. A few moments later, she reached a shudder window and used the crowbar to knock some of the bars out of place.
Ashe:"I'm getting out of here right now!"
Then, she ran straight towards it and jump though, having broken glass and bars flying to every place as she landed on the roof of another part of the prison. From her sight, the sun was starting to go down as she could see an army of guards fighting over an army of prisoners. she was practically dodging bullets as she ran across the roof and pretty soon she saw the 17ft high main prison wall in view.
Ashe:"Won't be long now."
Jumping from the roof, she landed with a roll and headed for the wall. Unfortunately, a spotlight soon landed on her.
Guard:"Freeze, prisoner! Hold it right there!"
Ashe:"Ah, crap."
Not long after, seven guards showed up up with baton and it was clear to Ashe that she was gonna have to fight her way out of this.
Ashe:"It's never a dull day in hell. Alright, let's do this!"
Guard:"Get her!"
The beatdown starts with Ashe hitting the first guard across the face with the crowbar, then the next guard had gotten a roundhouse kick to the head. The next two came at her with their batons, which she quickly blocks and then does a split kick onto both of them. One of the batons came flying out of the guard's hand and into Ashe's, to which she quickly unleashes a full array of smacks and smashes to the next guard's face, leaving him bloodied and bruised. And as for the last two, she simply grabs them by their heads and smashes them together. With that out of the way, she turned back to look for a way to scale the wall, to which she sees an open supply crate next to it. She takes out a pair of shukos, and wonders for a second why the prison would even have these. But then, she quickly puts them on and starts to climb, dodging a few bullets fired at her before she reached the top of the wall. Once she was there, she was introduced to more guards, who she quickly took out with her crowbar. But then, another came in with a katana sword in hand. She tried to block it, but the blade had easily cut through the crowbar's metal like butter, making it get sliced in half. Discarding it, she saw the guard about to attack again, and quickly grabs hold of the sword while she tosses the guard off the wall and back into the prison.
After finally getting past everything, she looks out into the desert and sees freedom just up ahead.
Ashe:"I still got a long way to go."
She steps back, runs and then leaps off the wall. Landing with a roll, she continues to run across the desert. However, the prison wasn't gonna giver her up so easily as she sees a helicopter fly above her. As they have a spotlight on her, Ashe takes the katana sword she stole and throws it like a boomerang to the blades of the chopper. This causes the chopper to spin out of control and Ashe watches as it crashes down a few feet away.
Ashe:"They messed with the wrong Loud."
As she turns and walks away, the chopper explodes behind her and looks like a movie scene. Once the chopper was down, she turns to take once last look at the prison and even sees pillars of smoke rising out of it.
Ashe:"I'm never going back.
Then, she continued to run, but not before almost rushing head first towards a cliff. Some gravel fell and landed into water belonging to Lake Michigan. Looking around, the desert seemed to stretched for miles, so it was either falling into the lake or walking right next to it for now. But before she could make that decision, Ashe quickly found herself surrounded by more guards that came from the prison, they even had a two tanks alongside them. Ashe was about to back up before realizing she would literally be going down if she continue to move.
Guard:"Game over, prisoner. You're coming back with us."
But Ashe didn't move from where she stood. Instead, she merely leaned backward until she felt her feet moving off from the ground. The guards watched as Ashe dove backwards off the cliff and into the lake. As they headed over to see where she was, they had no visual of her anywhere.
Guard:"There's no chance she'll survive. Let's head back, there's other prisoners we need to take care off."
But as they left, they failed to notice Ashe's resurfacing and looking to see if she was in the clear now. She almost didn't believe it, after years of being in jail, she was finally free. Looking around, she saw a boat nearby. That would be here out of there.
Ashe:"...I'm heading home."
Ashe:"I had to swim like 2 miles before I hitched a ride on a passing fisherman's boat. I made my way to Michigan and laid low for a little while."
Lincoln:"...That's incredible."
Ashe:"Thankfully, no one recognized me, but I still had a tough time staying out of trouble..."
Flashback to Ashe arriving at a bar, having some new clothes she got from outdoor hangers, consisting of a brown coat, a black t-shirt, grey baggy pants and brown sneakers; they were boys clothes, so they were a little big on her. Heading to the counter, she ordered herself drink of cola as she pulled out a picture she's been saving in prison. It was a picture of the Louds, Rita and Lynn and the young big sisters, 13 year old Lori, 12 year old Leni, 11 year old Luna and 10 year old Luan, and along side them was a 9 year old Lynn. They were looking happy and it made Ashe almost shed a tear. But she wanted to stay strong for them.
Ashe:"I heard they had a little brother now. Can't wait to meet him one day."
The bar manager saw this and was curious enough to start a conversation.
Bar Manager:"Friends of yours?"
Ashe:"Family."
However, Ashe accidentally caught the attention of someone else in the bar. A snobby looking teenage girl wearing a red club dress and slippers, brown stockings straight black hair that reached her back, white skin and a glare. Just as Ashe was about leave, the girl came up and stopped.
Ashe:"Um...excuse me?"
Leslie:"I'm gonna make one thing clear, drifters don't belong here."
Ashe:"I won't be long. I'm just looking for a spot to relax in."
Leslie:"Well, keep looking. You're not welcomed here either way."
Ashe:"You can't just show up and tell me what to do."
Leslie:"This is my turf, I can do whatever I want."
Ashe:"...Are you some kind of gangster?"
Leslie:"Maybe..."
Ashe:"Well, I used to be in a gang myself. Worst years of my life. So unless you wanna piss me off, back away."
But that set off the girl as she suddenly went to punch Ashe in the face. Ashe blocked it perfectly by grabbing her fist in her palm. Caught off guard, Leslie wasn't ready for when Ashe gave her a Kangaroo Kick to the stomach. Sending her back a few feet, Ashe took a stance against the girl, seeing her do the same. Leslie came in and started to throw punches and blows every which way towards Ashe, who continued to block with the back of her hand before sending another karate kick to the chest. She was about to continue attacking, but then Leslie grabs hold of her by the wrist and should and suddenly throws Ashe over her shoulder. This made Ashe crash into one of the bar's tables, breaking it in half. But then Ashe got up quickly, looking like the throw didn't even effect her as all she did was crack her neck.
Out of anger, Ashe charged at Leslie and tackles, sending both crashing into some shelves of wine. They two quickly recovered and glared at each other, before coming at each other and exchanging punches with one another, Ashe landing more than Leslie did. With a punch to the face, did the Gangster girl back way before wiping away the blood from her face.
Leslie:"You call that a punch?"
Unleashing all her fury, Ashe charged once again before delivering a final punch, knocking Leslie out.
Ashe:"...You should know better than to cross an ex-mafia."
And with that, Ashe left the wrecked bar.
Ashe:"I wiped the floor with her. But she did leave me with a few scars. I'd show you, but they're on my back and I'm pretty comfortable right now."
Lincoln held in a laugh while he continued to listen.
Lincoln:"I wouldn't mind. I have 11 sisters. Every once in a while, do I accidentally see things."
Ashe:"I didn't need to know that, but okay."
Deciding to show up, she lifts up her shirt and shows Lincoln a short but visible scar near the bottom of her back. No doubt from the broken glass she crashed into.
Lincoln:"That had to hurt."
Ashe:"Not as much as the next for years of my life."
Flashback to Ashe walking through the slums of Detroit and while doing so, does she find the body of a old man, lifeless and pale. She cringed at the sight of it and pity the poor guy, but seeing as there was nothing that she could do, did she move on. Later on, does she arrive at a motel, hoping to stay there for a while until she could find a permanent home...
Ashe:"It wasn't easy finding a place to stay, at first. There were some problems."
She talked to the clerk at the main desk, hoping to find a room to stay in. But the clerk told her that there were no vacancies, and the only option she had was to bunk with someone. Fortunately, the clerk told her that there was a nice young man on the upper floor that would be more than welcomed to let her stay with him as she game him a room key and lead her upstairs.
Clerk:"Just so you know, your roommate is kind of an extreme adventurer."
Ashe:"So am I."
She head to up the stairs and looked for the door that said 2G on it. Upon finding it, she was reluctant in opening the door as she held her key up.
Ashe:"Wonder how my roommate's gonna be."
Upon opening the door to her apartment, she saw that it was not to bad, moderately clean, with yellow walls, 2 beds with white bases and purple blankets, a white doored closet, a bathroom and a TV in front of the beds. As for her roomate, he had short messy orange hair, a dark grey shirt with a white skull on the front, tan cargo shorts and long white socks. He was laying on the bed, watching tv until he noticed Ashe walking into the room.
Ashe:"Hey there."
Roy:"Who are you?"
Ashe:"Name's Ashe. I was told I can bunk with you?"
Roy:"Go right ahead. Doesn't bother me. I'm Roy. Make yourself at home."
Ashe:"Cool...so, how long have you lived here?"
Roy:"About a year and a half. A dropped out of college, so I'm just livin' on my own for now and I just try to have fun."
Ashe:"And...what do you like to do for fun?"
Roy:"Mostly sports, and occasionally sneaking out. The landlord doesn't even know where I am most of the time?"
Ashe:"Where do you even go?"
Roy:"Just out. Usually to get some food and junk. You wanna come with? I can show you."
Ashe:"Um...Okay."
And with that, Roy leads them out of a window, to which Ashe hesitantly follows as they go for a supply run. They headed through a clearing of oak trees and tall grass as they headed to the back end of a mini-mall.
Roy:"I come here almost every day."
Ashe:"How long have you been doing this?"
Roy:"About four months now."
They hid behind a car and Roy pointed out to them that seven foot tall window was their point of entry.
Ashe:"Is this really a good idea?"
Roy:"Of course, it is! Everytime I do this, I never got caught in the slightest."
When the coast was clear, they quickly went over to it. Roy soon jumped and climbed through the window with Ashe following soon after. Inside, it appeared to be some kind of dark storage room to which Roy had started to scavenged until he showed Ashe a jar of some white powdery stuff.
Roy:"Jackpot!"
Ashe:"Roy, what exactly is this place?"
Roy:"Well, what do you think?"
He walked over to a light switch and flicked it on, revealing to Ashe the many shelves of supplies around them.
Ashe:"This is the backroom to a supermarket!"
Roy:"...Exactly."
Ashe:"We're stealing from here?! Roy, this is illegal."
Roy:"Relax. Just follow my lead and you won't get caught."
Ashe was very reluctant about following Roy even more. But they went this far, so there's no stopping now. Ashe decided to get in on it, grabbing holding of junk food, such as nacho chips, mini-donuts, a sponge cake, soda and cheese puffs. Meanwhile, Roy picked out share of what they were stealing, one of them being a mini-microwave.
Roy:"Did you get what you needed?"
Ashe:"Yeah..."
Roy:"Same here. You can keep some of the food you got. Let's bounce."
After they left, they soon stopped for a bite to eat, getting some large pizza, to which Ashe was eating most of. Roy found it weird, almost like she hasn't had decend food in a while.
Ashe:"You sure it was a good idea to steal all this?"
Roy:"Try and relax a little. I've been doing this for a couple of months now, and it's never bothered me."
Ashe:"Yeah, well. I've actually wanted to avoid this kind of life."
Roy:"What do you mean?"
Ashe:"I was in prison for four years. All because I did something stupid things and ended up joining the mafia by mistake. It was all to protect my family, but not really worth it."
Roy:"Wow...You've had it worse than I have...if it makes you feel any better, I'll try to make you feel more safe."
Ashe:"Thanks."
Ashe:"Though I wasn't really a big fan of us breaking the law, Roy still had my back."
Lincoln:"Why did you trust him so much?"
Ashe:"He offered him a home, food and other stuff. He was a good friend, really.
They arrived back at Roy's place and got ready for bed, with Roy wearing two-piece orange pajamas with a brown cloud pattern and Ashe with yellow pajama pants with black pants. Soon enough, they hopped into their separate beds happily.
Ashe:"You know, Roy? You're actually a pretty swell guy to hang out with."
Roy:"Appreciate it. And get ready, because we're gonna have a lot more fun tomorrow."
Lincoln:"I'm glad you had such a great friend at the time."
Ashe:"Yeah, well...I just wish it lasted longer. We worked well together as the weeks went by, until eventually our luck ran out.
Ashe:"Roy had grown more and more reckless over the time we've spent together. Even though I knew it was a bad idea, there was no talking him out of it.
A month after their first heist together, Roy and Ashe were pulling off another heist of theirs. This time, at a bowling alley where they had some unique food and skill crane games. But they were here for something bigger, something Roy said would help them later on, a forklift. For now, do they split up to find somethings on their own, with Ashe looking through where she could get some food and Roy where he can get some other good stuff. After a few minutes of searching, does Ashe come regroup with Roy, having a freshly baked square pizza packed up and ready to go. Roy, on the other hand, has himself a stuffed bear and a black necklace he got from the skill crane.
Roy:"I got these things for you."
Ashe:"Wow, that's sweet of you! You know, this place is loaded with stuff."
Roy:"It's even nice to hang out during the day. But you know that tonight, I wanna score something big."
Ashe:"Right, the entire skill crane. But how are you gonna get it out of here?"
Roy:"With these..."
And it was then that Roy revealed to Ashe the keys to a forklift the place had stashed somewhere. But before other actions be done, sirens were heard outside and then suddenly, about ten police men came barging through the door. Six of them pulled out their guns as the two thieves froze in place.
Police:"Freeze! Hands in the air or we'll shoot!"
But this made the two bolt the other way, and made the cop facepalm. The two ran through a creepy looking hallway, which had cracked walls and flickering lights. But it led out to where they could see the forklift in sight.
Ashe:"What are we gonna do?!"
Roy:"We're gonna take that forklift and try to escape!"
But they didn't get the chance to, as three more cops had shown up, standing in front of the forklift.
Cop:"Not so fast!"
Roy:"Well, looks like we're gonna have to clean house."
Ashe:"That's fine with me.
Realizing they were gonna have to fight their way out of this, Roy runs up to one of the cops and tackles him. This left Ashe dealing with two other cops, who she roundhouse kicks at the same time, twice before they fall to the ground out cold. Roy throw a lot of punches at the one he tackled, but not before 5 more cops had shown up.
Roy:"These guys just keep coming."
And then, Roy stood on his head and started spinning around, spreading his legs out as he kicked four out of the five officers unconscious. The last cop had decided to pull his gun out and point it towards Ashe. Roy saw this and ran immediately to her. Pushing her out of the way, just as the shot was heard, Ashe was shocked to see that Roy took the bullet for her.
Ashe:"NO!"
Seeing her friend fall to the ground as a red stain starts to grow at his chest. Hugging his lifeless body, a rage starts to build up inside her as she looks toward the cop who fired on them, who was nervously pointing his pistol at them. And it was then that Ashe lost it. Fuel from the forklift leaked out and caught a spark, setting the place on fire, as ten more police came in, Ashe slowly walked in anger to the one that shot her best friend. One by one, did she work over all of the police in the most brutal ways, taking the last one and grabbing him, screaming in rage as she lifted him above her head and doing a german suplex on the poor guy. Now that she had worked out her anger, Ashe thought it was now the best time to run away, taking one last look at Roy's body right before it was engulfed in flames. And with that, she ran out of the burning bowling alley.
Ashe:"I would never forget him. He was my best friend and he didn't deserve to die."
Lincoln:"Oh my gosh, Ashe. I'm so sorry."
Ashe:"(sighs) After that, I felt like I was no longer safe back at the motel, so I took what I needed from there, what belonged to me and Roy and I was back on my own again."
Flashback to Ashe doing what she said, taking all the necessary stuff from Roy's apartment and sneaks out. About a week later, is she shopping a farmer's market with barely enough money to buy food. She gets herself some ham, bread and batteries for other stuff. As she was about to check those things out, she looks to see that the cashier was Zella. This was her first time meeting her, and she too looked different back then, wearing a red flannel shirt, blue cut up jeans, brown shoes and unkept wavy hair; she looked like a lumberjack. There was guy in his twenties who looked like a hunter seemed to be flirting with her as she scanned all the things he had with her.
Hunter:"I got all that one store credit. Thanks, honey."
Zella ignored him as she placed all the things in a bag. Another hunter came by with some arrows in hand as they two hunters walked out of the store. Ashe then went over to check her stuff out when a shot was heard outside and they saw the hunters with entire group and it looked like one of their guns went off accidentally. The shot itself reminded Ashe too much of how she just lost her only true friend. But she snapped out of it when Zella asked her a question.
Zella:"Hey, are you okay?"
Ashe:"...Just Dandy."
Zella:"Okay...anything else you'd like to buy."
Ashe:"Nope. Gotta keep moving anyway."
And with that, Ashe took her leave. Lucky for her, Zella's shift was over and she decides to follow Ashe out to the sidewalk. Soon catching up with her, she tries to do a conversation with her, but Ashe was a hard nut to crack at the time.
Zella:"Where you heading?"
Ashe:"South...but first, I gotta buy some more things."
Zella:"Well, I can help you out with that."
Ashe:"How?"
Zella:"I can give you a ride. My truck's right there."
She looked to see a used pick-up truck by the edge of the sidewalk, colored red with a little bit of rust showing, but it still looked good. Ashe took Zella up on her offer and placed her stuff inside and climbed in. She directed her over towards a TV/computer store. Coincidentally, Zella was going there anyway.
Zella:"I need to get some parts for my crappy old TV, and this is the best place to get it."
Ashe:"Why can't you just get a new TV?"
Zella:"I don't have enough for money. That's usually why I look through clearance."
Over at a store called "Tacky's tech-shop", Ashe start to look around and see if anything catches her interest, while Zella was mainly focused on heading to clearance. But while doing so, they nearly bumped into another girl, one they would come to know as Francine. Back then, she had a bit of a hipster looking going around for her, having blue bell-bottom jeans, a beige cashmere sweater along with straight, light blonde hair with a flower in it. She looked so sweet and innocent that it attracted the wrong kind of attention. When Zella ran into her, she looked like she was in a bit of a hurry.
Francine:"I'm sorry. I was just looking to if there are any classic tvs around here."
Zella:"They're probably at clearance. I can show you where to look, that's where we're going anyway."
Francine:"Thanks, but I gotta go."
And with that, Francine rushed ahead of them.
Ashe:"That was weird."
Zella:"Yeah. But anyway, I'm just looking for bolt and things, so-"
But it was then that they heard Francine screaming and quickly rush over to see that three guys had ganged up on her. One with dark red hair done up in a cowlick, wearing a black jacket with red flames on the sleeves, brown pants and dark brown shoes, was holding Francine in place with his arms underneath her shoulders. The other two, one with short black hair, navy blue jacket and jeans and light brown shoes and the last one with brown skin, short brown hair, lime green shirt with a rainbow splats on it, grey pants and yellow crocs, were punching Francine in the stomach. Would all the stomach blows she looked to have taken, Francine threw up in of them while they laughed at her misery. The one holding her, Bryce, went to whisper something in her ear.
Bryce:"The boys were a little disappointed with that pathetic performance you gave last night, bitch..."
The guy in navy blue, Joel, was readying another punch.
Joel:"Lucky for us, we fellas know how to handle tight curves."
He throw another blow to the stomach as Francine continued to cough up chunks and even blood. And the last one in the green shirt, Tyrone, grabbed hold of a chunk of Francine's hair.
Tyrone:"But you still didn't satisfy our needs."
Francine yelled in pain as Tyrone ripped off that piece of hair he grabbed and all three boys laughed at her tortured state. They were calling her a bitch, and Zella couldn't bare to watch as she stepped forward, ready to fight them. But Ashe stopped her, looking just as pissed as she was.
Ashe:"I got this one, Zell."
And it was then that Joel notices that Francine has piercing on her belly button and attempts to grab it.
Joel:"Stand back, or the-"
But then, Ashe immediately punches him in the face, knocking him out cold, then moves to Tyron and grabs hold him, slamming him onto a shelf of phone cases. Frightened by this, Bryce takes Francine and pulls out a switchblade knife, holding it to her neck as Ashe then focuses her attention towards him.
Bryce:"Stay back! I'll slit this bitch's throat!"
But Ashe wouldn't budge, not intimated at all. Next thing Bryce knew, he was grabbed by the head and slammed into a display case, which shattered on impact. Both Zella and Francine were slack-jawed by what they saw while Ashe smirked at her handiwork before turning to the two.
Ashe:"Anything else I can do for you guys?"
They were too shocked to respond as Ashe decided to take her chance to leave, but then the two followed after her in a skirmish. Zella and Francine manage to catch up to her while she was walks for the exit.
Francine:"Wait! Wait...that was incredible, what you did back there."
Ashe:"No worries. I just hate guys like that."
Zella:"How were able to fight like that?"
Ashe:"I've spent four years in prison. I had to pick a lot of fights."
That's something there weren't prepared to hear, but this made them realize that Ashe may have been an escapee, which means she might be homeless.
Francine:"Hey...do you have anywhere to go?"
Ashe:"I don't know. That's why I'm gonna keep looking."
Francine:"Well, you can stay with me for a while...if you'd like."
Ashe:"...I'd appreciate that. To make it up to you, what do you say I treat you to a barber? Get your hair fixed?"
Francine:"Heh. That would be nice."
A little while later, Francine got her hair cut short into a bob, and it kind of suited her.
Ashe:"How do you feel about your new haircut?"
Francine:"Better than before.
Lincoln:"It was nice that you managed to meet your friends."
Ashe:"Yeah, but it got a little awkward for when we met Diane."
Lincoln:"How awkward?..."
Next, the trio headed over to get something to eat, but the only restaurant they found didn't seem so appealing towards Ashe. The other two were admiring how neatly done it worked as they headed inside.
Zella:"Check out the fancy coating."
Ashe:"I've seen better."
The place wasn't exactly ideal for girl to be eating at, since it seemed like the kind of place made to serve men. Reason being was that all the servers were women, and they were dressed in ridiculous uniforms. Not only that, men were straight up taking advantage of all the woman as they were given them pinches, butt-slaps and even forcing them to sit on their laps. Ashe thought it was so degrading as this was the kind of place that had zero respect for women. They sat at a table as the three of them then faintly heard some angry yelling in the back, and that's when another waitress was pushed out from an office, a waitress named 'Diane'. The top of her uniform made her look like pink french maid, even having her blonde hair in a tight bun. She was moving from left to right on the other side of the counter, while her soon-to-be friends were wondering what was that all about. Pretty soon, she came by and show that the lower half of her uniform was a pair of white tights that were pretty forming around her legs. Ashe and the other two were thinking about how stressful a job like this must've been for her as she held up a notepad and pen.
Diane:"You seem like a fun group. Not often do we get girls as customers here."
Ashe:"I can't imagine why."
Zella:"Anyways, what will you take?"
Francine:"I'll have a cooked fish."
Zella:"I'll take a salad."
Ashe:"And I'll take 5 chicken wings with a side of mash potatoes."
Diane:"Alright then. Be right back."
They watched her leave, swaying her hips from light to right right before a customer ends up smacking her on the upper part of her leg. The girls were like (D:), wishing they hadn't seen that was they start to feel bad for the waitress.
Zella:"You think she ever has anyone to help her?"
Ashe:"In a place? Probably not. Can you believe this place?"
Francine:"These people are so harsh to the waitresses."
Ashe:"Zero respect for women."
Zella:"What are you gonna do about it?"
Ashe:"I'll think of something."
After they ate, they headed outside and saw the waitress herself heading to her white car. She was wearing a brown jacket ove her uniform as opens the trunk, and that's when Ashe stepped forward and got her attention.
Ashe:"Yo."
Diane:"You three? Surprised to you guys again. Thought you'd be long gone."
Ashe:"Likewise. Came to ask you a few things. What was going on with you boss?"
Diane:"Oh, that guy's a dick. My job's not ideal, but it helps to pay for the bills."
Francine:"Don't you deal with any struggles?"
Diane:"Plenty. You've already seen the customers. They're cruel, they slap me and do things to me that I want to kill them for. And my boss and the entire establishment is a joke. And every other girl is just another minimal wage slave inside. Yet for some reason, I'm the one being picked on the most."
She then moves to the trunk of her car and began putting things inside, bending down and giving the three girls a good look of her rear. It was surprisingly big, and would easily by the victim of slapstick from the resturants customers. Ashe and Zella were wide-eyed while Francine just tilts her head to the side.
Zella:"I...can't imagine why."
Ashe:"Damn, girl. How'd you ass get that big?"
Francine:"Ashe!"
Diane:"No, it's fine. It's not the first time I've heard that. Least I can say is that it's hereditary. Get my figure from my mom, she had a pretty big bottom herself. Wish it wasn't though, I struggle with it daily. I have trouble putting on and stretching out my pants, accidentally knocking over a few things, and of course, my job. Now, if you excuse me, I need to get going before the landlord changes the locks to my apartment again."
But as she tries to start her car, it refuses to turn on.
Diane:"Come on, you piece of junk."
She then kicks the peddles and bangs the steering wheel and then the engine just burst, making Diane slam her head against the steering wheel. Now the girls felt really bad for her.
Ashe:"Uhh...I don't suppose you'd want to stay with us, don't you?"
Diane:"That's be nice, actually. I can't really pay for apartment anyway."
Ashe:"And we can even get you out of that crappy job."
Diane:"Even better."
And with that, Diane takes off her jacket and then the top of her uniform, revealing a black sports bra underneath as she throws her uniform into the trash.
Diane:"It was about time I quit anyway."
Then she takes her jacket and box of some old knick knacks from her car and walks off with the rest of the girls.
Diane:"So...where're we heading?"
Ashe:"For now, I was just planning on bunking with Francine here. But I think I know a good place to settle down later."
They soon head over to Zella's truck.
Diane:"Hope my behind doesn't take up too much space for you, Francine."
Francine:"You're fine. Don't worry about it."
Lincoln:"Heh, heh. Pretty funny how you met up with Diane."
Ashe:"Yeah, after being with her for a while she always turned out to be the...'butt of the joke'."
Lincoln:"Ha! Wow, and I thought Luan's puns were bad. Uh, no offense."
Ashe:"None taken. Anyway, we headed over to Francine's place. It was pretty nice, but not where I was looking to settle down in."
They arrived at Francine's place on a wide grassy field. The house was colored blue and had two floors. They were about to head in...when they found the door locked.
Zella:"Aw, man."
Francine:"It's okay. I got the key."
But then as she tried to unlock the door, her key broke inside the lock.
Francine:"Just my luck."
Zella:"Now what are we gonna do?"
Ashe looked to her right and saw an open window at the far right of the house, no taller than the lot of them. And it was then that she had an idea.
Ashe:"We can climb through the window."
Francine:"That would practically be breaking into my own house."
Ashe:"We don't have much a choice."
Francine was the first to climb through the window, which lead to her house's kitchen, then Ashe and Zella followed suit.
Zella:"Nice place you got in here."
Francine:"Thanks.
Just as it seemed as if they all made it inside, they then began to hear some strange noises, such the window creaking and the sounds of struggling and looked to see Diane stuck in the window by her butt. Her legs were flailing around and she was trying to push herself inside by bracing her hands against the wall. But it was a no go as she sighed in defeat.
Diane:"Um...a little help here?"
Ashe and Zella looked at each before helping out. Each of them grabbed on out Diane's arms as they began to pull. Diane's bottom half became stiff as she closed and straightened her legs, shifting her body left and right as she did her best to help, wiggling from left to right, then up and down. Eventually, she popped through and...landed on top of the two.
Zella:"Ow."
Diane:"Sorry. Just another struggles of having a big backside. Every once in a while, do I get stuck in some embarrassing situation...in more ways than one."
Ashe:"Fascinating. You can tell us all about it AFTER you get off!'
Diane:"Right, sorry. (Gets back up) I'm a bit hungry, you got anything to eat out here?"
Francine:"I can make you a sandwich."
Diane:"Sweet."
One BLT later, the group was sitting at a table while Diane chowed down on her sandwich. She began to talk about all the situations and struggles she's been through most of her life.
Diane:"My dad leaves, my mother works so hard to support me...(munch, muffled speech) Had to drop out of school, so you can forget about college...(takes another bite)...and then, there was that last job of mine. And you already saw how that went."
Francine:"You know...it's considered rude to chew with your mouth full."
Diane"(swallows) Yeah, well...I haven't had a decent meal in a while."
The more she talked about herself, the more the other began to feel bad about her. The least they could do now is look out for her as they plan to look out for each other.
Ashe:"Diane, you're more than welcome to stay with us. We'll look out for each other, stay together...like family."
Diane:"...I would like that very much."
And with that, they got together and group hugged.
Ashe:"And then after that, we started moving around a few places before settling in Great Lake City, and the rest was history."
Lincoln:"Wow. That's incredible. And it's very great that you've stayed together."
Ashe:"Yeah, well...we were like family. Also, along the way, I got into a bit of an eating habit."
Lincoln:"Does that explain the potbelly?"
Ashe:"Yep. I was really into eating gourmet foods at the time. And of course, junk food, cake, pizza, spaghetti and cheeseburgers. I think I've only ever eaten like 12 cheeseburgers over the past four years. Diane even got into my eating habit, which explains that roll of fat spilling over the rim of her pants."
Lincoln:"Is that why her behind is so-?"
Ashe:"That's...one of the reasons. In any case, my story ends with Reginald. I discovered that there was a bounty on my head, and he jumped in on the opportunity. I've been dodging him for years that he's made a vendetta against me."
Lincoln:"How are you able to deal with him?"
Ashe:"...It's not easy. I've spent a lot of time in hiding because of him."
Lincoln:"Well, if he's gonna keep bothering you. He's gonna have to answer to me."
Ashe:"...Come here."
Opening her arms, Lincoln could see what Ashe wanted. With some strength, he managed to get up from his bed and walk wobbly to hers, as she then wrapped him into a hug. He greatly returned the favor as they cherished the moment.
Lincoln:"I'm glad I was able to meet you, Ashe. You've been such a great cousin."
Ashe:"You too, Lincoln. You too."
