Thanks to being under house arrest, Izuku had to cancel all previously scheduled raids. A few days had passed and he just stayed in his room. Tsukauchi has visited him several times for further examination, or just to confirm how things are going.
His teammates also visited him after hearing what happened. Kiyoko also made a fuss, saying that she would kill all the kidnappers if she found them. They just laughed at the commotion she was causing.
Izuku knew that they were just trying to make him feel better, but he still couldn't get rid of the bitter feeling that lingered deep in his heart. All he could do was give a fake smile to make a fool of himself and others.
Izuku is used to hiding his feelings, but he is still not good enough to deceive people who have the same pain as him. Todoroki narrowed his eyes seeing this, he decided to approach him at different times.
After the others left Izuku's room, he approached him to talk to him.
" Izuku... "
" yes?... "
" You still have something you're hiding, right? "
" huh... it seems that I still can't deceive you "
" so what is it? "
" it's just that I had a hard time and was exhausted "
" ... "
After a moment of silence, Izuku's smile disappeared, replaced by a dark face with a blank look.
"Well, I... I just can't believe how easy it is to take someone's life "
" I've heard the story, but it seems to really burden you "
" you're right. I have killed countless monsters, maybe one day I will take someone's life too. I've imagined it countless times, and what I fear most has finally happened.
No matter what the reason is, it is still wrong to kill a person, the guilt and bitterness are also imprinted clearly "
" I don't know what it's like since I have never taken someone's life before, but I can understand it somehow.
You have gone through a lot, so take a rest, I will visit in my spare time "
" thank you, I appreciate it "
Without them knowing, someone had been listening to their conversation from the beginning.
Kiyoko notices that Todoroki approaches Izuku after they all leave. She decided to stay, curious about what the two men were talking about separately.
After hearing their conversation just now, she felt really bad. She shouldn't have heard of those things. Kiyoko thinks that she knows Izuku, but Izuku still has many stories that have not been told deep down in his heart.
Kiyoko felt sorry for him because of the burden he had to carry at such a young age. She couldn't even imagine himself in such a situation without receiving a mental breakdown.
She had already had difficulty dealing with the smell of blood and wounds, as well as his fear of monsters in each raid. She may be lucky to be in such a strong team, but sometimes she also has to follow raids with other teams that have a higher chance of injury. Kiyoko couldn't help but have to watch the scene where flesh and blood splattered everywhere, as well as the threat of losing her life at any time, she had to endure all of that while healing the team members.
Even after Todoroki left Izuku's room, Kiyoko remained in place. She hesitated to apologize for eavesdropping on their talk secretly.
Izuku escorted Todoroki out of his room and leaned against the door. After watching Todoroki leave, Izuku started talking.
" so that's how Kiyoko-San is, is there anything you want to say? "
Kiyoko gasped when she heard Izuku's voice. She slowly walked out of hiding.
" s-so you know "
" Well, I can feel the slightest presence "
" oh right, you are an assassin. . . .
um, I'm sorry for eavesdropping on your conversation just now "
" It's okay, I can't do anything with what's been spilled anyway "
" I'm sorry for that "
" It's fine "
Kiyoko was silent for a moment, because of the awkwardness of Izuku who spoke first.
" If there's nothing else I'll go in "
" ah! wait! "
Izuku stopped when Kiyoko stopped him.
" if, if you still have a problem or something you can't talk to others about, do you want me to introduce you to a psychiatrist? "
" psychiatrist? "
" yes, you know if you have any difficulties or have any complaints, you can ask for advice like- "
" I know... "
Before Kiyoko could finish her words, Izuku stopped her.
" Thanks for the suggestion but I'll think about it "
" ah! um, okay "
" again thank you for visiting, see you again Kiyoko-San "
" s-sure, I'll see you "
Izuku then enters his room leaving Kiyoko alone in the hallway. Kiyoko kept staring at the closed door, inexplicably she felt stupid after being caught eavesdropping on other people's talk. She then ran away from Izuku's room with a tomato-red face and hands covering her face.
Inside his room, Izuku leaned against the door. He dragged himself to the bed and threw himself down. He had a lot of thoughts, after sending Kiyoko away, Izuku decided to go to sleep. He didn't sleep well because of his busy schedule and what happened lately.
He tried to close his eyes, but couldn't sleep in the slightest. Whether it's because he is too tired, or excessive stress.
' if I think about it, I haven't done the 'Daily Quest' today. If it's just light exercise it shouldn't be a problem '
He got up from his bed and then did his daily quest in his room. After 30 minutes of exercise, the remaining thing is running. Because it was winter he picked up his jacket, although he didn't feel cold because of his high status, and went straight to the Dorm park.
Izuku started running around the park, he couldn't go far from the dorm environment because his movements were always monitored through the monitor bracelet on his ankle.
After he finished running, he stopped by the vending machine to buy a drink and sat on one of the park benches looking up at the afternoon sky.
Izuku closed his eyes, feeling the direct sunlight hitting his face. Although it was winter, the afternoon sun was still warm.
" Izuku-Kun? "
Izuku turned his head to see who the owner of the voice was. He saw a familiar face approaching him, he saw Tsukauchi approaching him with a glass of coffee in his hand.
" Tsukauchi-San? what are you doing here?"
" I just finished meeting the director and walked around for a while, how about you?"
" Just finished running and rested "
" Can I sit here? "
" Sure, please, I don't mind"
The two sat there, staring in the same direction, the sight of the falling orange sunlight made the snow shimmer yellow. People walked on the street. Several high school students walked home from school with their friends, chatted, and then laughed together. There are also families, walking together by holding hands each other.
Izuku looked at the scene with cold eyes. It's not that he hates it, but that he suddenly remembered his former family. The thought of his former family enjoying their time happily in his absence made his mood cold. Tsukauchi noticed this and decided to strike up a conversation to break the ice.
" peace isn't it "
Izuku glanced at Tsukauchi who was sitting next to him, then looked back at staring at the street, then opened his mouth.
" Indeed "
" How are you doing recently?"
" as you can see, except for the fact that I am under house arrest now "
" haha... you're fine then. By the way, I heard that you were abandoned by your family, may I know the reason "
" well, instead of them abandoning me, I guess... they just gave up on me, that's why I decided to leave "
" Is there a reason? "
" I just think that there is no reason to keep something that can only hurt you, it is better to throw it away or stay away from it"
" I understand the reason, but have you ever considered what will happen to your family after you leave? "
" not really, I believe they're fine without me, moreover I think they'll be happy, the annoying ones are finally gone, and also I don't feel sorry about that "
Tsukauchi fell silent after hearing Izuku's answer. As a policeman he has solved so many cases and thwarted many criminal acts, he has also caught so many criminals until now. Among those criminals they are from the same background, they come from a messy families.
The villains had no one to guide them or to rely on, and as a result of which they headed on the wrong path. It is they who blame the people for forcing them to take this path.
They claim that they are victims of this kind of environment, they are another face of the hero society. They are people who live in the shadow of society, waiting for changes to show themselves.
Tsukauchi could somehow understand Izuku, he was just relieved that he hadn't gone in the wrong direction. He couldn't imagine a 9-year-old child becoming a villain, he couldn't even imagine it. If that happens, it will be huge damage to the hero society.
People will question what heroes and cops do to the point of letting a child be a villain. The reputation of the hero will be tarnished by it.
" I see. "
After he finished talking with Izuku, he then stood up.
" It's nice to talk to you, but I have to go "
Tsukauchi stretched out his hand to Izuku. Izuku also stood up, took his hand, and then shook it back.
" I am also happy to chat with you"
" take care of yourself, and stay away from problems okay, bye "
" I will, thank you Tsukauchi-San, see you again "
Tsukauchi leaves Izuku alone, he returns to his office to continue his work as a policeman. Izuku looked back at the almost dark afternoon sky, the surrounding air began to become colder as it approached evening. He decided to finish his workout and go back inside to clean up and rest.

A few days have passed, and Izuku is still serving his sentence under house arrest. He spends most of his activities around the dormitory and library.
Izuku was lying on his bed and suddenly heard a knock on his door. He got up and walked towards the door to see who was visiting him.
Izuku opened the door and saw Tsukauchi waiting for him his door. He was quite surprised by the sudden unannounced visit from him.
" Tsukauchi-San? "
" Sorry for the unannounced visit, I should have told you but I don't have time "
" is okay, so what brought you here?"
" There is someone who wants to see you "
" Me? but can I know who it is? "
" you will soon know, I'll take you there, the person is already waiting "
Tsukauchi guides Izuku to the parking lot and then takes him to the café to meet the person. It took 15 driving from the dormitory to the café.
When they arrived, they went inside and saw that there was a woman already waiting for them. Izuku knew the woman, she was the one who tried to protect him during the kidnapping.
They walked up to the woman and greeted each other. It was awkward at first until Tsukauchi struck up a conversation.
" um, miss, this is Izuku, he's the kid you asked to meet, right? "
" ah!, yes, first let me introduce myself, my name is Todoroki Fuyumi, please to meet you "
Izuku gasped when he heard the name of the woman in front of him. He has the same name as Todoroki Touya, his friend. Todoroki told him that he has a younger sister and two younger brothers, so this woman must be his younger sister.
" I'm Izuku, nice to meet you,
Um... Tsukauchi-san said you want to see me, can I know the reason? "
" that... "
Fuyumi was silent for a moment. She suddenly stood up and bowed to Izuku. Izuku was taken aback by Fuyumi's sudden action.
" m-miss what are you doing please stand up "
" it may be too late but I want to thank you for saving me that day, and I want to apologize for my actions last time "
Izuku face turns dark as he recalls that incident in his head. The scene of the Villain's dead body and the feel of someone's blood on his hand is still clear.
" Please you don't need to do that, besides there is nothing to be grateful for in the accident "
Fuyumi raised her head to look at Izuku's gloomy face. She then grabbed Izuku's hand which was clenched so tightly that his nails were pressed against his palms.
"That's not true!, if you hadn't saved me, I might not be alive now. If it was me, I'd probably do the same, so please don't blame yourself for it "
Once again, Izuku was shocked by Fuyumi's actions. He could feel the warmth of Fuyumi's hand holding his. He could feel something cracked inside him, tears shed from his eyes, rolling down his cheeks without him knowing.
Izuku felt his tears flow down his face. Fuyumi then took out a handkerchief and then wiped Izuku's tears. She looked worried as she wiped his tears.
" Are you okay?, did I say something that hurt you? "
"ah!, no, it's okay, I'm fine, I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm crying "
Fuyumi saw Izuku wiping his tears carelessly, she knew that he was hiding so much pain in his heart and was always trying to hide it from others, just like her brothers. She suddenly hugged him and patted his back warmly.
" It's okay... You've fought so hard until now, you can let go of the pain in your heart now "
Hearing Fuyumi's words, the cracks inside Izuku widened even more until they finally broke. Izuku couldn't contain the flow of emotions that now overwhelmed him. The long-lost emotions are now back again. Feelings of anger, sadness, and regret are mixed.
The feeling that had been turbulent in his heart finally flow out. All the wounds and pains that had been suppressed fell in the form of tears.
Izuku cried loudly, falling in her arms. He has been waiting for someone to say that he has done a good job, to say that he can rest, to say that it is okay to be weak because we are all human beings.
Fuyumi hugged him again, she let him cry to lighten the burden accumulated in his heart while patting him on the back.
It took a while for Izuku to finally calm down and finally fell asleep out of exhaustion. Tsukauchi then takes Izuku back to his dormitory so he can rest. Fuyumi also wanted to accompany them but she couldn't because she had work to do.
She asks Tsukauchi if she can get Izuku's contacts so she can contact him sometime. Tsukauchi agreed and then gave her Izuku's number.
Tsukauchi had offered to take her home, but Fuyumi refused because the place was nearby. Tsukauchi accepted the reason, even though he knew it was a lie. He would rather not let a child who can finally sleep well wait even longer.
Tsukauchi then took Izuku to his dormitory leaving Fuyumi alone. After watching their car leave, she breathed a sigh of relief. She was glad that she could help her savior somehow. There is a certain satisfaction in being able to help Izuku lighten his burden.
Fuyumi smiled again at the thought of contacting Izuku once again just to have a small chat with him. He then walked lightly to leave the café in a better mood.
