Victor John Foxfire: Sonic continues to recognize his behavior as becoming less forgiving and more on guard, and he doesn't like feeling like this. Sonic and Sally are having a rough patch, and their differences and grudges are becoming apparent with peace. I designed Frederick as a young and inexperienced noble, who was really never going to inherit anything, which is why he makes a good friend to Sonic, as both are technically nobles, but aren't sure exactly what to do. Fiona is there, and I am aware her parts are kind of boring. She just sits in prison, and I am going to completely claim the undeserved credit of making the audience feel exactly as she feels in the prison: bored. But she still has hope that Scourge will return.
Now for talk about my Favorite OC thus far. Johan is entirely built on the way you have described. He has no real Gimick or odd power. He is raw strength and destructive power. He's meant to be the antithesis of Sonic. Eggman is about how technology is evil, Tails is about how Technology is good, Sonic is about how nature is good, and Johan…well You get the idea. Johan is not Evil, per say, you might find he makes a lot of sense at time, and is even better in some regards than the mobians. But he comes from a society where sympathy is an insult, so he will come across as rather cruel and unforgiving. He doesn't actually have a passive energy drain though, rather it's the cold storm he summons, which causes organic bodies to overclock themselves to maintain a living temperature, which produces exhaustion. By the way, it's good to have you back.
Now with that out of the way, prepare to pull up "Rules of Nature" From Metal Gear Revengeance, because I am cringy and trying to create an epic fight scene in a written format like a fool.

Sonic sat down on the metal bench as commissar William( The Leader of this Dark Legion Expedition) explained his case.
The Echidna's eye glowed as talked, revealing transmission from the Artika chapter.
"WE ARE UNDER ATTACK, I REPEAT, REQUESTING REENFORCEMENTS NOW!" The Timber Wolf shouted on the screen, right as it went black.
"We assumed it was Interference from your northern freedom fighters, but when we arrived, it was too destructive to be freedom fighter work." William explained, trying to remain stoic, "The walls were torn horribly, something incredibly strong had scratched through metal. There was also… blood, a lot of it."
Sally frowned, sitting next to Sonic, "Blood? Did- did you find any-"
"No bodies, not even bones or teeth. But life support equipment was missing, so who ever it was clearly aggressive." William's voice turned confused and frustrated, "Additionally, it seems to ambush us in a storm, and shrinks our numbers. Even this facility's lock down system has trouble keeping it out."
Sonic stood up, "How do we know this isn't one of your tricks. You'll take us to Eggman once we are exhausted from a wild goose chase?"
William's growled in frustration, "That-" Then he seemed to calm down.
Tails whispered, "Good question."
"Thanks little guy." Sonic whispered back.
William nodded, "That is a fair question. We are at war. But if Robotnik wants you, he can come down here and deal with you himself. I am simply here to get our northern chapters secured."
Sonic shrugged. That was good enough for him
Sally was voice of cynicism, "You still did not answer our question. We don't know you or your integrity."
William nodded and shrugged, "Ask them."
Sally, Sonic, and Rotor turned, followed by Tails and Amy. Coming through the doorway, were two small walruses, shivering and scared.
Rotor stood up, "Sammy, Betty, What's going on." He seemed very upset.
"We found them at an old resistance hide out." William explained, raising his hands defensively, "They mentioned something about a 'beast' killing their family."
"I'm their family." Rotor growled, more out of fear and sadness than anger.
Sally walked over and touched Rotor's shoulder, "We'll figure out what happened, and stop it from ever happening again."
The young walruses were still frozen.
Sonic smiled, "Hey kids… can you tell us what happened?"
The Walrus children shook their heads, before looking up at Rotor. They then looked down at Sonic.
Betty spoke up first, "A mean, hairy monster attacked Mommy and Daddy. They told us to go to the safe cave."
"Hey Betty, I know you don't recognize me probably, but I'm big brother Rotor." Rotor got low, looking his siblings in the eyes, "What did this monster look like?"
Betty muttered, looking down, "He was big and scarry. He had big teeth, and sharp claws." The little walrus seemed to quiver.
Sammy held up a colored drawing that made the emotional value of professional painters fall short. There was a brown snout of a wolf… or Dragon… or bear, with sharp teeth. It had massive paws and a body to match, with a black circle on it's back. But what really captured Sonic's attention were the eyes. They were so…real… The eyes were red, with black where there should have been white.
The image was terrifying, and haunting. Sonic felt himself shudder, and found Tails had curled up against him.
William pointed to the picture, "It looks like that according to them."
"Why did it let them go?" Sally asked, her chest visibly rising and falling from discomfort at the drawing.
"We don't know. They only said that they kept running." William slumped, "This thing is a genuine monster. It seems to attack anything it lays eyes on. I frankly don't care about you and Robotnik's little war. I want us safe, and I need this thing gone."
Sonic nodded, "Let's-"
"Sonic." Sally Silenced him, "We need to discuss this."
Sonic growled, "What-"
Sally turned to William, "Let me talk with my team. We'll get back to you with an answer."
William seemed insistent, but sighed, "Alright, please help us."
Once he left the room with his legionnaires and the kids, Sally looked at Sonic, "We need to approach this strategically."
Sonic blinked, "Strategically? This thing is killing Mobians."
"Because it doesn't seem to know any better. It's killing indiscriminately." Sally explained, spreading her arms trying to seem more appealing, "It's likely confused, a primitive Mobian. If we can catch it and teach it right from wrong, it could be an amazing ally."
Rotor stood up, looking…mortified, "I can't- I can't believe you are saying this. It killed my family!"
Sally nodded sympathetically, "I know. It's tragic, and horrifying-" Sonic felt himself getting upset. Sally continued, "- But We have all lost someone in this war."
"You haven't" Sonic growled, And Sally blinked a couple times.
"Excuse me?"
"Everyone here has lost someone. Tails and I lost dad, Rotor lost his mom, and Amy lost her family. But you haven't lost anyone." Sonic growled, and Sally flinched.
"Why would you-"
"You Don't get it! You don't understand our pain, when someone gets capture and roboticized, or dies. You say you do, but You understand any pain you leave." Sonic growled, feeling more of his anger at her surface, "You just do as you please and the rest of us fall in line. You never face the pain you left from your decisions, and if you do, it's never your fault!" As Sonic recovered from the vent, he recognized Sally's stoic face. A face that meant she had been cut deep, but she couldn't show it.
Sally nodded, slumping down. "Yeah, Ok, that's fair. We'll kill this thing. We'll be murders. If that's what you want."
Sonic frowned. He felt like the bad guy. He was the bad guy, "No, We'll capture this thing. We'll put it down if we have to, but we should still try to solve this without killing."
Sally smiled sadly, "Ok, thanks." She muttered, and turned to the door.
Sonic frowned. He really hurt her worse than he ever wanted.
He saw Sally through a peep hole of the door, nodding her head, and causing William to clasp his hands gratefully.
When Sally came back, Sonic raised his hand to try and stop, "Hey, I- Um, I'm sorry about-"
Sally shook her head, "Let's just focus on this right now." Her scowl indicated that this was not over.
William entered the room "Thank you for your support. I think we can stop this thing if we work together."
Tails spoke up, "So what's the plan?" He had been quiet, and looked mildly upset.
William sighed, "We wait for this monster. We can't track it, and we don't even have the slightest idea of where it is. The Facilities are open, and if you're hungry or need to use the bathroom, I'd recommend doing while things are quiet."
Sally nodded, and spoke softly, "Thank you."
Sonic reached out, but Sally had walked through the door.
Sonic put on the winter equipment and stepped outside. His mind was re-arguing that last argument. How could he have done that without hurting her? How could he have flipped that around in the middle of his rant?
Sonic slumped down, and heard that Airlock door open up, to reveal his little buddy.
"Sonic?" Tails asked, seeming to be a little cautious.
Sonic smiled at him, "Hey, uh, what's up?"
Tails frowned, "I want to talk to you about…Fiona."
Sonic blinked a couple times, "Yeah, sure, what's wrong?"
Tails took a breath, "I don't want you to visit her anymore."
Sonic blinked, "Buddy, You really shouldn't be going for-"
Tails shook his head, "No, I mean I think she is going to manipulate you. She's a lair, and tricky."
Sonic shook his head, and smiled, "No, she's just done what she had to do to stay alive. I'll bring her back to the right side. Trust me."
Tails shook his head, "I think she'll play with you and make you-"
"Tails, when you are older, you'll understand that some people need to be brought. Some people can be redeemed, trust me." Sonic smiled.
Tails snorted in anger, "Fine." Tails turned around and walked inside. Sonic felt a little upset. He'd wanted Tails his whole life, and now he could lose him. Sonic just wanted to understand why he was so upset.
"Momma, where do babies come from?" Sonic had asked, way back when he was a tiny hedgling.
A spoon fell to the floor, and his mom stumbled, "Uh… what? Why do you want to know?"
"Just curious." Sonic cocked his head. He wasn't "just curious" but he didn't want his mom to know.
Bernadette gulped, "Well… Um.. Julian! Your son has a question!" She called, with a nervous smile.
Sonic's Dad came into the room, "What? What's he want to know?"
Sonic jumped up and looked up at his father with Wide eyes, "Where do Babies come from dad?"
Julian Hedgehog gulped, "Well…Uh… Son-"
Chuck had come in from the living room and looked exceptionally amused, "Come on Jules… Where do babies come from?"
Sonic's father turned to his brother with a scowl, before back to Sonic, putting up a nervous smile, "Well, Son… When a daddy and mommy love each other very much… The mommy's tummy gets very big… and she eats odd foods. Then she goes to the doctor after a while, and comes out with a baby."
Charles chuckled, "There's a little more to it than that."
Sonic turned to his uncle, who was apparently an expert, "And how do they get weird like me?"
Chuck froze with a small frown, and the room had a sense of guilt or sadness. Sonic didn't understand why.
Chuck smiled, "Well… maybe they eat really weird foods."
Sonic nodded, and ran over to the fridge to pull out some old garlic bread, and rushed back t his mom, "Can you make me a little brother. And can he be weird like me… Oh please, Oh pl-"
Julian stepped in to save Sonic's mom, "SONIC STOP!" He snaped his fingers, a sound too close to the sound a belt snapping. Sonic flinched down.
Julian looked down, and smiled, "Look, your mom and I will talk about it… but until then, please don't bring it up."
Sonic smiled, feeling the wind on his face. It was cold… Surprisingly cold… almost-
Sonic jerked around. Over the balcony, he could see what seemed to a rolling storm of snow coming straight towards the Facility.
The Sirens started to wail, as the icy fog ripped through the base.
Sonic ran down the stairs, closing the air lock. He came across legionnaires, grabbing equipment, fumbling around in a panic.
Sonic found Sally, who had put on a purple winter coat, and had her ring blades ready.
"Everyone set." Sonic asked.
Sally nodded, "I had everyone get ready."
Sonic's heart was racing. He was terrified for some reason.
They ran to one of the exits, along with four Legionnaires. The Door opened, and a gust of snow, ice and wind flew into the base as they stepped out. Sonic raised his hands as the wind stung his eyes.
Your Time has come to an END!
Sonic lowered his arms, to glance into the raging storm. He kept close to the Freedom fighters. His heart was racing, and the feeling of fear coursed through his body. Sonic wasn't sure why. He saw a dark shape through the bitter storm.
Yeah, this is what nature planned.
Sonic realized it was getting closer, and the Siren seemed to lose it's power. Sonic's eyes widened, and he tackled Tails right as the pole that held the siren speaker collapsed. Sonic felt him trembling, but he mustered a, "Thanks."
Being tracked by a starving beast.
Sonic stood up, and Tails did the same. Sonic saw a shape thrashing through the storm
Looking for its daily feast.
Sonic then heard a cry from one of the Legionnaires.
A predator on the verge of death.
A series of flashes illuminated a more clear outline of a large beast. A cluster of dark splotched appeared in the fog as the flashes dimmed.
CLOSE TO ITS LAST BREATH!
The Dark splotches splattered red across the ground. Sonic knew exactly what it was. The Dark shape trudged forward. Sally and Rotor closed around Sonic, getting close so everyone could protect each other.
Getting close to Its last breath.
A snout finally appeared through the fog, with black fur around the teeth and eyes. Glowing red eyes. Brown fur was everywhere else across its face. The Beast stopped, and made eye contact with Sonic, its mouth frothing, apparently enraged.
Sally Braced, raising her ring blades, Rotor and Tails took a step back against the Facility. Amy drew her hammer, but her hands were shaking.
The large black paws with claws extended began to stamp. The beast arched it back, showing off it's large and sharp mouth, the rigid, thick teeth glistening as it bellowed across the sky.
RULES OF NATURE!
The icy storm that had been around them violently parted, rippling with a chill across the ground, revealing the massive brown body. All of this beast's paws had black fur around them, but it changed to brown shortly after passing the wrists and ankles. A brown furred body, with a ring of black fur on the chest and back. A strange patch of white fur stuck from its side.
The Legionnaires finally had a clear view and Sonic heard, "Open fire!"
And they run when the sun comes up-
Several blasts came from the Dark Legion echidnas who had come out at various entrances. The blasts seemed to strike the fur of the beast, burning the strands, but never making it to the hide. The Beast responded by jumping toward a cluster, launching two at the facility.
Their impact made a bloody splatter. Sonic was still in shock that the large Creature could jump.
With their live on the Line.
Amy ran forward, and smashed her hammer against the beasts back. The Hammer seemed to bounce off, only mildly knocking the creature around.
The Beast jerked around, and slapped Amy across the icy field, with snow starting to fall lightly.
Sonic ran as fast as he could, and caught Amy, bring her to a slow stop.
For I have no choice
Sonic ran back and found the Creature barreling towards him. Sally appeared and stabbed it in the side. Him… it was a him.
The beast roared, and raised it's hind leg.
Sonic saw the shock on Sally's face, and he raced to stop what they both knew was coming. The foot collided with Sally's chest, and she was launched back.
Sonic raced forward and caught her just before she hit the ground. He brushed her hair quickly. Was she ok?
Sally flinched a little, and Sonic could feel swelling in her chest area. He was…terrified. Despite all of their problems, he didn't know a life without her.
Sally's voice shook him out of his fear, "You're cute when you're worried."
Sonic blinked.
Sally flinched again, but nodded a him, "I'll be fine. Just a nasty bruise- Incoming!"
Gotta follow the laws of the WILD!
Sonic turned around as the beast lumbered towards him. Rotor tried to get in the way, but the beast slammed into him, knocking him across the ground. The wind started to pick up.
No choice!
Sonic scooped Sally up and ran back towards the facility. She was alive, and he was going to make sure she stayed that way.
The Beast lumbered behind them, A Legionnaire in his mouth. That mouth began to close tighter.
Out here only the strong survive
Sonic wasn't sure where else to go. The facility was on lock down. He looked around, desperately. The Cold storm wasn't good for them.
Sonic turned around just in time to avoid another charge, when Tails swooped down and kick the monster in the back of the head. The Beast snarled, and Raised his head… and then, his posture changed.
Bristled fur lowered, the glowing red eyes dimmed, and were replaced by brown eyes. The snow storm dissipated. Sonic was frozen, metaphorically.
He wasn't sure what was going on. The Beast emitted a…. chirp or sorts, cocking it's head.
Tails looked just as confused, when a paw from the massive monster grabbed his leg, and pulled down.
Sonic's eyes widen, and He was about to run forward when Sally grabbed his arm, "Wait." She whispered.
The beast pulled his arm in, pulling Tails close, and the fox was prostrated before him, his tails drooping in mild terror… but not hurt. The Beast's paws sucked in the claws, and it rubbed Tails' back, poking the two fluffy appendages.
Sally gestured to Legionnaires who were about to open fire, and they stopped.
Sally turned to Sonic, "He's distracted, we need a plan. He really hates you, so I have an idea."
Sonic looked at his little buddy, who was practically curled up in fear, and crying helplessly. Sonic grit his teeth, but Sally pulled him back.
"Listen." She commanded, grabbing his face. Sonic nodded.
/*-*/
Fascinating was all Johan could think. This was clearly a fox, but he was born with two appendages. Johan tugged one of the tails, until the little creature yelped. Then he did the other, earning another yelp.
Such a creature should have been abandoned by its family at birth. But the fox was clearly alive. Not only that, he flew. The Fox had taken a genetic failure, and turned it into a strength. A fox could swim, and walk, and this new line could produce a species that could fly.
Johan thought eagerly about that. What powerful warriors could be produced from such a line? Johan could already see the great enemies would face, the glory he would win. SO he decided, the fox would live, only so Johan could see him produce powerful offspring… unless he became too much trouble.
Johan sniffed up and down the vulpine. Its scent was locked into his mind.
Johan suddenly felt cold brush up against his eyes. Johan jerked around and saw-
Garden Defender. His scent was still strong, his power was the same. Johan felt his vision turn red, his mouth frothed up. He would not be defeated again!
Johan tossed what ever was under him aside, and ran after the dreadful creature. It's coat had changed, likely due to the weather, but his scent didn't lie. It was far too similar, even if it had a slight difference.
The Garden defender turned around and ran. He thought he could get away? NO!
What's done is done, survived to see another day
Johan gave chase, following the garden defender. He was leading Johan to a forest. If he thought he could hide, Johan was about to surprise him.
The game of life-
Johan ran forward, smashing through the trees that dared to get in his way. The Garden defender Kept running, evading the trees.
Johan's vision began to turn red as he remembered the grueling defeat he had suffered.
-the hunter and the agile prey
Johan leapt forward, trying to get in front of him.
No guarantee-
The Garden stopped, and got low. So this was where he chose to die. Johan's mind screamed "KILL!"
Johan roared at the garden defender.
-Which of them will succeed
Johan got low, growling.
Strong Or
The Garden defender curled into a ball and began to spin in place
WEAK!
Johan jumped after the Garden Defender, fully aware of its defensive stance. He would power through. Yet as he jumped, The Garden Defender rolled forward at an alarming rate, the spins pushing into his hide.
Johan yelped, and felt himself hit a tree from the force. This was going to be more difficult than he thought. But nothing great ever came easy.
Johan shook himself up as the Garden defender leapt again. Johan quickly swung his arm, smacking the Blue spike ball through a trees.
The Garden Defender had snapped him out his Ulfeidnar trance. A worthy foe indeed. Johan would kill him.
Johan bounded towards his target. The Garden rose up, and bolted quickly, and Johan smashed through a tree. Johan turned around and saw the Creature running deeper into the forest.
He also noticed the splotches of red that were on the ground. Was he bleeding? Johan shook himself off as the pain in his chest answered that question. He was weak in this body. He needed to rediscipline himself.
Johan gave chase, bounding through the forest, spotting the defender and leaping forward. He landed on the Garden defender, and roared at him. Johan finally had his revenge.
Sharp spines dug into his chest and hand, warranting a yelp, and Johan flinched, giving the garden defender enough time to get out-
They weren't alone anymore. Johan snarled, looking over his shoulder just in time to see a flash crash against his body. He felt his side burn, aching and crying out in pain.
The Garden defender slammed into him, Knocknig Johan back. NO!
He wasn't going to lose here again. A pink Garden defender emerged, swinging a hammer at him. Johan raised his paws and caught it, and used his weight to slam her on the ground.
The Blue garden defender moved to rescue, and Johan swung a clawed hand at him. Johan smacked the Blue garden defender back, and Jumped to avoid another flash, which burned through a tree and snow.
The Garden defender appeared in Johan's side, cutting into him. Johan roared, and smacked the blue creature away for the third time.
He was getting tired. The Ulfeidnar trance had done little to bolster his stamina. Johan needed to end this fight. He need to build stamina.
The Garden defender also seemed to be having trouble, his blue quills were down, and seemed to be lightly exhausted.
Johan panted, and then recovered and ran straight at his target, only to feel a flash blast him back… into water. Johan was bleeding, he was tired, and he was in water… This was it.
Johan found it difficult to keep his eyes open.
Yet when he awoke, he was not in Valhalla or heaven, nor in hell. Rather, he was on a river bank, with a small rabbit running towards him…
/*-*/
So there you have it, another Technical Defeat For Johan, but the fighting has become less one sided. He'll back… that's for sure.
Feel free to leave a review. It helps with morale and keeps me motivated.
