The ever flowing river of Nile,

The enchanting fever of fire,

The gentle flow of the hot western winds,

The rustle of sand beneath the feet of the fiends.

The tanned skins of the east,

The blowing of the dark glories,

The exotic color of kohl unashamed,

The accentuated eyes aflame.

For the symbol is the king,

For the songs and all the hymns,

For the land of the cavalier,

For the protection of the peer.

For Egypt is the home,

For it is the sound,

Of Pharaohs that abound,

And the beating of their hearts.
