Okay… I deleted this cause it wasn't working… I only had one review anyway…

Well, here it is, hopefully making more sense.

Here we go:

Title: I don't believe anymore

Summary: Yaoi…don't like, don't read… What could make you want to run and never look back? Would you take the one you love, who is slowly slipping into insanity?

Rating: Depends on your levels of tolerance… Wimp: don't read. Nothing really graphic, but for those that read between the lines…

Disclaimer: Song by the Witlams (don't believe anymore)

Notes: Just read… My musings… so ideas aren't clear… neither is the fact as to whether or not I have a brain… but there you go…

Italics: lyrics

And so:

I never counted on this

Guess that's the way that it goes

Kai sunk down to his knees, pain blinding him, mingling with the blood.

You used to be, someone I knew

Somebody I could understand

He watched the source of his anger walk calmly out of the room, taking his tools of destruction with him.

Now I don't know what to do

And I don't know who you are

Stumbling, he managed to make it out of the room. He took a deep breath and steadied himself.

All those things I hear you say

You talk that way I'm a stranger to you

The mask was back in place. The only ones, who would know something was wrong, were the ones who would see the bruises. Only one.

I don't know where to begin

Don't want to hear it again I don't believe anymore

'Life sucks. The eternal pain is never ending.'

Kai rolled his eyes. Tala was always so melodramatic.

And this is all that I know

I know I've heard it before I don't believe anymore

Wide eyes, staring through the darkness. Twisting bodies, blood pouring from wounds. Kai woke with a start.

And I remember your voice

Before all this happened to us

'Another day, trembling in the fires of hell.'

Another note from Tala.

'Like feuding raindrops plummeting to earth, the pain stops when you're dead.'

When I could see

When I was sure

Why do some people return for the same punishment, the same old pain, over and over? Why isn't all of eternity enough?

That everything was young and new

But I guess that's the way that it ends

Their bodies clung to one another, demanding and pleading in the one breath. Kai gasped as Tala opened a healing wound.

Yeah lovers come

And lovers go

'Death comes in different guises. Fear the one you love the most.'

Kai put down the last note. He knew Tala couldn't take much more. He wasn't sure he could either.

When you think you know

It just isn't true

Boris wasn't pleased. Why should he be? His two little toys were walking out on him.

I don't know where to begin

Don't want to hear it again

I don't believe anymore

Like shadows the figures slipped over the fence, darting from building to building. They ran behind dozing guards who would later wish they had been more alert.

And this is all that I know

I know I've heard it before

I don't believe anymore

'Freedom is a scary thing. You feel like a butterfly, just before someone rips out your wings…'

For once, Kai actually smiled at Tala's note.

I don't believe anymore

Ende.
