Taylor was having a good day for once. Was that surprising? Yes it was. Taylor never had good days anymore. Decent days were more common, but even they didn't come around that often anymore. At least she didn't have to see Emma, Sophia and that other girl that followed them around like a lovesick puppy, Madeline or something like that. Thankfully, Taylor didn't have to see them because of Winter Break. Now that brought a smile to her face.

No school meant no Trio, no Trio meant no bullying, no bullying means no incidents, no incidents means a good day! Hurray! Taylor had planned on staying home all day, but her old computer was even slower than usual. Taylor rubbed her forehead as she stared at the Library's computer. Skimming through PHO was fun, but it got a bit boring after a while. Maybe she should check out a couple books? She wouldn't take them to school of course, but they could offer some entertainment at home.

Watching TV all day got old when all the channels replayed the same Spruce Willis action movie over and over again. Getting up from the computer and signing out, Taylor walked towards the nearest bookshelf. Glancing at the sign that said Fairy Tales, Taylor ran her fingers over the spine of multiple books. Mom used to read her old fairy tales, the original ones of course and none of those kiddy versions that came to everyone's mind.

Taylor paused. Was this the Hans Christian Anderson section? If so, why was there a copy of Rapunzel here? At least it was the Brothers Grimm version and not the kiddy one. She grabbed a copy of The Little Mermaid that was next to it. After a second of staring at the copy of Rapunzel's spine, Taylor grabbed it as well. Mom used to love reading Hans Christian Anderson's books before going to sleep. Contrary to what most people thought, the long dead author was actually Norwegian from a small kingdom, not Danish. Well that's what Mom told her.

Taylor moved to grab a copy of the Ugly Duckling, but paused when she saw the old book that was placed next to it.

The Snow Queen. Apparently Anderson was inspired to write the story after a freak blizzard in the middle of summer. Taylor felt a pang of pain strike her in her eyes.

"Do you want to build a snowman?" Icy blue eyes met her own, the rest of the girls' features were blurry. Taylor felt herself nod excitedly and the scene turned white.

Taylor grabbed her forehead and leaned against the bookshelf for support. Was that an old memory that she had buried before Emma turned against her? They used to build snowmen in front of Emma's house all the time. There was only one problem with that idea.

Emma didn't have blue eyes.

Steadying herself, Taylor reached out and slowly grabbed the book. The titular villain graced the cover, her skin as blue as the ice she created, with ornate clothing that looked like they were made of the finest snow. Taylor still remembered the nightmares that this book had given her when she was younger. Mom told her that if she didn't behave, the Snow Queen would send her snow bees to come and take her away. Taylor smiled softly and placed the book on top of the other two that she had already grabbed. These should be enough for now.

Hopefully these weren't the versions that had poorly drawn pictures.

Placing the books in her backpack, Taylor gave the Librarian a final wave as she walked out of the Library, the chilly Bay wind tickling her face. Now if she could only win the lottery to get into Arcadia or even any of the other schools in the city. Her grades haven't exactly been the best since the Trio made it their life mission to ruin Taylor's life. Walking down the sidewalk towards the nearest bus stop, no one paid Taylor any mind.

She liked it that way. Don't attract attention, you won't attract any trouble. Pulling her hood over her ears, Taylor started walking a bit faster. As much as she liked the cold, she didn't want to wait in the cold for the next bus. Plus it was the weekend, she didn't exactly want to run into any of her tormentors on their way to the Boardwalk. Slowing her pace once she caught sight of the bus stop, Taylor leaned against the cold metal of the bus sign and closed her eyes for a second.

The same blue eyes stared at Taylor, the mysterious girl pressing her forehead against Taylor's."I will always love you little sister."

Taylor had to stop herself from jumping when she heard the bus arrive. What was that? Was there a cape trying to master her somewhere? That was the only explanation she could think of, well aside from going crazy. Maybe she had been out in the cold too long? Biting her bottom lip, Taylor paid the bus driver and was moving to grab a seat when someone caught her eye.

Dressed in plain blue jeans and a baby blue sweater that hugged her every curve with platinum blonde hair that was tied in a messy french braid, familiar icy blue eyes met Taylor's own brown eyes. The gorgeous woman's mouth dropped, and Taylor swore that she saw tears forming in the corner of the weird woman's eyes.

Taylor took a hesitant step towards the back, when the woman stood up still staring.

The woman spoke slowly.

"A-Anna? I-Is that you?" Her voice was soft, and it cracked halfway through her sentence.

Taylor felt a rush of heat run through her cheeks.

Who was this woman? And how did she know her middle name?

A/N

I must say, Monster has to be my favorite out of the new songs that were added to the Broadway show. It gave everyone more depth as characters. Cassie Levy did a decent job portraying Elsa, not as good as Idina of course, but she wasn't bad. Hopefully I'll be able to go when the American tour comes to my city. Time to start saving up.
