Chapter 6

Thor, Jane, Darcy, Selvig, and the other Asgardians stood in the desert with Coulson, Everleigh and several other shield agents.

Darcy turned to Volstagg. "So, how can you speak our language?"

"Your language? Ha! Silly girl, you're speaking ours." Volstagg said, letting out a laugh.

Thor looked up at the sky. "Heimdall! Open the Bifrost!"

Everleigh looked up at the sky blinking wondering what would happen. But nothing did.

Thor looked over at the others in concern. "He would open it if he could. I fear the worst."

"Then we're trapped here forever." Volstagg said, shaking his head.

"Then I suppose we'd best start settling into our new lives." Fandral said with a smile turning to Darcy, turning on the charm. "Are all earth maidens as fair as you?"

Darcy blushed, enjoying the attention. "No."

Thor looked back up at the sky. "Heimdall!"

The Asgardians began to lose hope in Heimdall bringing them back to Asgard.

Volstagg eyed a shield agent's machine gun. "Primitive. Good enough for hunting small game, I suppose."

Suddenly the Bifrost exploded down from the sky

Thor grinned.

Everleigh looked on with wide eyes.

Fandral looked at Darcy, bowing his head slightly. "Sorry, my love. These things happen." He joined the other Asgardians at their sides.

Thor turned to Coulson and Everleigh. "Know this, son of Coul. You and I, we fight for the same cause - the protection of this world. From this day forward, count me as your ally. If you return the items you have stolen from Jane Foster."

"Not stolen. Borrowed."

Jane shot Coulson a look.

"You'll get your equipment back. You're going to need it to continue your research... which, after

today's events, SHIELD would like to fully sponsor. If that's alright with you." Everleigh said protecting Coulson knowing that this would be the only way that they would be able to have things all smoothed over.

Thor took Jane's hand into his before kissing it tenderly.

She looked up at him, her eyes filled with fear that she may never see him again.

"Whatever fate lies before me, you are part of it." He took her into his arms and kissed her passionately.

"You be careful up there Thor." Everleigh said, looking at the God of Thunder. "We will hold you to what you say about the protection of our world and you being our ally."

Thor nodded his head and he turned to his friends before leaping into the Bifrost with them.

Everleigh took a breath and her shoulders slumped some tiredly.

Jane looked over at her with a concerned gaze. "You look…"

"I'm fine." She admitted softly.

"You look tired, Agent Vincen."

Everleigh let out a soft chuckle. "I promise I'm fine… just took a little more out of me than usual."

THORTHOR

Jane, Selvig, Darcy, Coulson, and Everleigh looked with concern up at the hole in the sky, where excess Bifrost energy builds up around it.

"Jane?"

"Something's wrong."

Everleigh took a soft breath in concern. "Something is really wrong…"

Jane looked over at Everleigh and saw her face go pale. "You feel something, don't you?"

Everleigh looked over slightly concerned to Jane. "More than you can ever think… something bad is going on up there… and whatever it is… we're stuck down here and we can't help."

Jane looked back up at the sky, her brows furrowed in concern. She could only hope that Thor was alright.

Suddenly the Bifrost energy that had been gathering exploded in the sky like fireworks firing in all directions.

Everleigh, Jane, Dr. Selvig, Darcy, and Coulson watched in amazement, hardly moving.

Jane looked back up at the sky distraught. She knew something terrible had happened and it wasn't a good thing. "It's gone." Jane said softly.

Everleigh looked up at the sky, her brows furrowed. She couldn't help but wonder what that truly meant. She knew that this report was going to be a long one to fill out and there was going to be a lot of words said between her and director Fury. She knew that Director Fury wasn't going to like what happened down here in New Mexico. Everleigh looked over at Coulson taking a soft breath.

"Your items have been returned to you Miss Foster." He said, offering her a small smile. "We have also set you up with your own team… and we have also set you up with some new state of the art gadgets."

Everleigh let out a soft chuckle knowing that Coulson had done right by Jane only to please Thor so there wouldn't be trouble later. She had to admit that she was rather thankful for that.

"Agent Vincen, we're to head out now… we have clean up crews on route to here now."

Everleigh nodded her head knowing that this meant that they were going back to home base and they had a huge file to write up on what had happened. Everleigh followed Coulson knowing that they were probably going to hear from the higher ups and this meant that the cube that hadn't been used would be used and she always got the heebie jeebie from it.

"Agent Vincen." Jane called out stopping Everleigh in her tracks.

Everleigh turned to look at Jane. "Yes?"

"Thank you." She said softly.

Everleigh smiled softly. "I just did what I had to do. You three take care of yourselves, yeah?"

Jane nodded her head.

"See you around." Everleigh turned and followed Coulson towards the cars that were waiting for them to take them back to the base.

"You did good, Agent Vincen."

Everleigh looked over at Coulson. "You think so?"

"You protected those people in town."

Everleigh let out a soft chuckle. "Yes, and wore myself down with my magic." She said softly, yawning a bit.

"You deserve a rest…"

"You know Director Fury wouldn't." She said softly.

Coulson nodded his head softly. "But you need a chance to recharge your magic and he'll allow that."

Everleigh nodded her head sleepily as she got into the car.

Coulson got into the car and started it up.

Everleigh leaned her head against her arm taking a soft breath.

"Rest you deserve it." Coulson as he began to drive.

Everleigh slowly closed her eyes and began to think of what happened. What did Thor have to do to stop his brother Loki from doing whatever he had planned? And if he did at what cost and what problems would it cause later?

This is the end of Chapter 6. I hope that you guys enjoyed this final part of Thor. The next part will be much different since we're going into the next movie which is only a part of one which is Captain America First Avenger. I can't wait to write what happens with Everleigh in this next part, but the question is should she make friends with the other Avengers? She'll be friends with Natasha of course just like she is with Clint. But should she make friends with Steve and then become friends with the others? I can't wait to see what you guys think. I hopefully will have the next update out soon. I'm trying to update as many stories as I can while I'm trying to keep this one consistent with the updates.
