Taylor knew she was going crazy. There was no other explanation for her actions today. Well, a master or the Simurgh playing with her mind could, but the flashes of memories that kept replaying in her mind put an end to that theory. The 'memories' were too vivid, too real despite the blurriness of them. Taylor couldn't make out people and their names aside from Elsa, but she could make out places. Her memories with Elsa were too real to have been planted in her mind, the details too consistent.

Except for her memories where she begged Elsa to make snow during the first five years of her previous life, but the meeting they had with the trolls explained that. That and Elsa wasn't a Master. Well, not one of those Master's that could manipulate the minds of their victims and turn her brain into putty. Taylor vaguely remembered Elsa creating a snow monster when she first threw her and a blond man out of some ice palace. She remembered another snowman

This was the weirdest day of her current life. She'll decide later on the weirdest one from her past life once it was less blurry.

Taylor gave Elsa a side glance as they walked down a sidewalk that should lead to Taylor's neighborhood. It was Taylor's idea to walk of course. She didn't have enough money to get on the bus again, it would cut into her money for chocolate, but it gave her time to catch up with her 'sister'.

"Sooo Elsa, what have you been up to since...well you know." Taylor's hands gave a cutting motion over her neck. Elsa tilted her head slightly in thought, her eyebrows scrunching up. She was still as beautiful as Anna remembered.

"What does that mean?" Elsa said. She looked like she wanted to reach out and touch Taylor's shoulder, but something seemed to be keeping her at bay. Nervousness maybe?

"Oh yeah. You're from a different century." Taylor rubbed the back of her neck as she laughed awkwardly. She stayed quiet when they walked past a small group of middle school guys, their eyes on the verge of popping out when they caught sight of Elsa. Taylor wasn't surprised. One was about to wolf whistle when a glare from Taylor caused the young teen to scramble away. Taylor turned her attention back to her sister.

If Emma was a model, then Elsa must've been a goddess.

Not that Taylor was checking out her newfound sister, but Elsa was the most beautiful girl she had ever seen. With curves in all the right places, gorgeous hair, perfect body, pale skin and bright red lips, it made Taylor a bit jealous. Life seemed to like screwing over the life of Anna of Arendelle. In her last life, Taylor missed out on over thirteen years with her sister. In this life, she was built like a frog standing on two legs and had to deal with problems at school.

"I mean…" Taylor slowed her pace and gently took Elsa's hand. The blonde's face formed a small smile and held Taylor's hand with both of hers. "What happened after I died?"

Elsa's smile immediately disappeared. Biting her bottom lip, Elsa turned away yet she didn't let go of Taylor's hand as they walked down the cold sidewalk. Noticing a light frost forming on Elsa's wrist, Taylor stopped and stared at Elsa.

"Elsa, is everything ok?"

Elsa took a deep breath and slowly nodded. "Yes I'm fine." She formed a smile that threw Taylor off. It wasn't one of Elsa's real smiles, like the one she gave Taylor back at the beach, or back when she was called Anna. This was the smile Elsa made on her coronation day, the same smile she made whenever she was hiding something. Elsa spoke again before Taylor could speak.

"I left Arendelle the night you-you.." Elsa took another lungful of air. "I left Arendelle the night you passed. Everyone that I knew and loved was already gone so there was no point in staying. Even the Northuldra forgot that I existed outside of their stories. Eventually, I stopped appearing in public and stayed with the other spirits in my home."

Taylor felt a pang of pain in her heart. How long was Elsa alone? How long did she suffer loneliness? Taylor squeezed Elsa's hand as they resumed walking.

"I-I'm sorry if I brought all of those memories back." Taylor's mouth felt dry as she spoke. Elsa's cool hand squeezed back.

"You deserved to know." Was all that Elsa said in return. Silence filled the air around them, a bit awkward but definitely comforting. They made it several blocks before Elsa spoke again.

"The day you died was the worst day of my life, right next to the day we received word about Papa and Mama." Elsa said softly. Taylor was glad she didn't have anymore tears left to cry.

"Well I'm here now sis. Reunited once again by the power of love!" Taylor said half jokingly with a smile. Wait a minute. She never talked like this before. Did the memories from her previous life do something to her? She would have to ask Elsa that later. Elsa smiled back, a real smile this time that showed off her pearly white teeth.

"I'm glad."

For once in her life, Taylor's life really started to seem much brighter.

Taylor still couldn't believe that it started to rain as soon as they entered the neighborhood. While her hoodie offered some protection against the rain and wind, Elsa had none of that since she only wore a plain sweater.

So they ran. The rain felt refreshing as it's drops bombarded the skin on Taylor's face, but it did get annoying when a particular annoying drop covered her glasses in water. Taylor started laughing once she caught sight of her house, Elsa's light laugher soon following suit.

The two sister's must've looked like idiots to anyone watching them, but Taylor didn't care. For the first time since Emma's betrayal, Taylor felt free.

Anna felt free.

"Watch your step." Taylor said as she skipped over the broken step that really needed to be fixed. Elsa carefully stepped over it as the porch roof offered them protection from the rain. Her sweater and hair were now completely soaked, yet Elsa was still smiling despite the cold.

"I know it's not much, but here it is." Taylor opened the door dramatically and motioned her hands for Elsa to enter. "Our safe haven."

The corners of Elsa's lips kept smiling, and she took a hesitant step forward.

"Anna, it's perfect as long as you're with me." Elsa performed a curtsy with an imaginary dress. Taking another step forward, they entered Taylor's house.

Hopefully Dad would stay busy at work.

A/N

This is pretty late, it was supposed to be out 4 days ago, but I got busy. I finished the two Frozen books.

Forest of Shadow's shows Elsa's flaws as she tries to handle everything herself in an attempt to protect Anna.

A Dangerous Secret revealed that it was Elsa who chose to rarely leave her room. Other soft-canon books showed that Elsa did leave her room occasionally, acting like Anna didn't exist in order to 'protect' her. Iduna and Agnarr weren't as bad parents as the movies made them out to be.

The final chapter showing their POV of dying was heartbreaking.
