It had been decades since Elsa felt this nervous. Anna had a family in this life, a different family. Just the thought of that made Elsa's hands start to lightly frost up. She quickly willed the frost away before Anna could notice it. The walk towards Anna's home simply formed a pit in Elsa's stomach, one that grew with every step that she took. Still, Elsa was glad to have her sister back and nothing could ruin her mood! Then the question that Elsa had been dreading the most left Anna's lips.

What happened the night Anna died? What was Elsa supposed to say? That Anna's son, the long dead King Adgar, banished Elsa from ever returning to Arendelle? That Elsa wasn't even allowed to attend her beloved sister's funeral? No, she couldn't reveal that just yet, if ever. So Elsa mixed in the truth with a few lies to spare Anna, leaving out the important details. The past was in the past, it didn't matter anymore.

Not as long as Anna was here.

Taking a hesitant step forward, Elsa walked into Anna's home. The design of the house was similar to the ones that they had run past on their way here. It wasn't the newest house, but it was clean enough, only needing a few repairs here and there with a new coat of paint. It was a lovely home, because Anna lived here.

"Sorry it's a bit dirty. I wasn't expecting company." Anna said as she walked Elsa, grabbing an empty can from a shelf that held multiple pictures. "Feel free to make yourself comfortable. Mi casa es tu casa." Anna winked and disappeared into the kitchen down the front hall.

"It's ok. You have a lovely home." Elsa said politely as she took a small step towards the shelf. Dozens of books lined the bookshelf, with pictures being its only decoration. Most of the pictures had a young girl with curly hair, glasses and the largest smile. That must've been Anna. The photo in the center had two adults standing on either side of Anna.

Anna's Father was thin with dark hair that seemed to be slowly fading. He had large green eyes that were covered by glasses. His eyes reminded Elsa of her own father, King Agnarr. Was it possible that Anna's Father was a reincarnation of Papa? Perhaps, but Elsa didn't want to get her hopes up. Elsa's eyes turned towards the woman, and her breath immediately got caught in her throat.

Anna's Mother's hair was a reddish auburn, with large brown eyes also covered by glasses. If her eyes had been blue and her hair darker like Anna's Father, she would have been the spitting image of Mama, the late Queen Iduna. Reaching out to touch the picture carefully with a shaking hand, Elsa pulled back at the last second.

Elsa was a coward.

"Hey Elsa. Is everything ok?" Anna said walking back from the kitchen with a bottle of water in her hand.

"Oh, yes. I'm ok." Elsa said instinctively. There was no need to bother Anna with her problems. Anna narrowed her eyes, her gaze slowly turning towards the bookshelf. Softening her eyes, Anna walked towards her. They stood there in silence, staring at the photo of the happy family.

"You have a beautiful family." Elsa broke the silence first. She wasn't lying. Anna's new family seemed much happier than the one in her previous life. No thirteen years of locked doors, no older sister who decided to shut her out without warning.

"Thank you." Anna replied. She placed a hand on Elsa's back and leaned her head on Elsa's shoulder. "She died almost two years ago. They say it was a car accident, but they never found the driver who did it. I wasn't even allowed to see her body." Anna's voice was basically a whisper.

Elsa tightened one of her hands into a fist. If Anna's Mother was the reincarnation of Mama, did that mean she was always destined to die? Why couldn't their parents live a long and happy life?

"I'm sorry." What more could Elsa say? Any other words got caught in her throat. They stood there for a few more seconds until Anna noticed that she was still holding the water bottle.

"Anyways, this is for you." Anna placed the bottle in Elsa's hands, a light frost instantly cooling the once room temperature bottle. "You do know how to open that right?" Anna teased with a smile on her face.

"Of course." Technically true. If someone had asked Elsa that a month ago the answer would have definitely been a no.

Anna stuck out her tongue. "Let's get you out of those wet clothes. I doubt any of mine would fit you since, well, you know." She pointed at Elsa's body and then at her own. "I'm sure some of Mom's stuff could fit you."

Elsa giggled softly. "Are you sure? I'm sure they mean a lot to you. I can just conjure up some clothing." Elsa waved her left hand, the blue sparkle of her magic coming to life. A few seconds later, Elsa was wearing a sparkly blue shirt reminiscent of her original ice dress. Her spirit dress was still in her backpack as well, along with her Mother's scarf.

Anna's eyes widened in surprise, with her jaw dropping. Elsa stared back nervously, biting her bottom lip.

"Is something wrong?"

Anna shook her head. "No no, I kinda forgot that you could do that." She said sheepishly.

Elsa smiled in return and looked at the bottle of water in her hand. "Thank you."

Anna waved her off and looked down at her own wet clothes. "I'll be uh, right back." She ran towards the stairs and was about to jump onto the first step when she turned around. "There's some hot chocolate in the kitchen, I do remember that being your favorite drink." She disappeared with a smirk on her face.

Allowing her smile to fall, Elsa started to rub her forehead. The coming talk was going to take a lot out of her, but it was needed.

At least hot chocolate made everything better. Hopefully the taste didn't change, otherwise Elsa was going to be a very unhappy spirit. Unless Anna liked it that is. Rubbing her hands together, Elsa walked into the kitchen.

Everything was going to be fine, as long as Ahtohallan didn't stick their nose in Elsa's business.

A/N

I finally binged through all of the Frozen Force by Goldenheart stories. If you haven't read it I highly suggest it. It's close to a million words long and is in its 4th season. It's a Star Wars/Frozen fusion and words cant describe how much I love this story.

Back here, I decided what Taylor's power is going to be. I won't be revealing it till well, if you've read worm/worm fanfics you already know. If you're here from the Frozen side, you're in for a treat.
