Chapter 11 Hades

"So Natsu has been captured," Levy shook.

"Yes, that's what we believe," Lucy nodded.

"Yeah, members of Grimoire we encountered said he was captured," Happy told them

Wendy nodded "Yes, and we have to save him,"

"It sounds so unlike Natsu to be captured easily," Freed said.

"They probably jumped him when his guard was down," Bickslow shared his thought.

"That could be the case, he tends to lose focus a lot," Carla said.

"Still, it's weird how he was just captured like that," Lucy said. "That's why we need to save him,"

Wendy nodded "Right he needs our help,"

"So who's going to go," Bickslow asked.

"I can't. I have to stay here and form defensive enchantments," Freed said.

"Yeah same here," Levy said. "With the injured here, we can't leave them alone,"

Lisanna nodded "I'll stay here too,"

"I'll go," Lucy volunteered.

"So will I," Wendy said.

"Absolutely not child," Carla shouted "You're still too young,"

"But Natsu-niisan needs our help, I have to go," Wendy said. "I need to go,"

Carla signed "Fine knowing you, I can't stop you, I'll go as well,"

"I'm going too, I want to save Natsu," Happy jumped

"I'll assist as well, as Gajeel's partner I need to avenge them," Lilly said.

"Since it's decided, we wish you all luck," Freed told them.

"Don't worry, we'll stop Hades and save Natsu," Lucy declared and Wendy nodded.

The two wizards and the three Exceeds then went off towards the airship, and in hopes they find Erza and Gray on their way.

"Damn I'm tired," Gray signed, putting his arm against a tree. He was about to fall but someone caught him, he looked up and saw that it was Erza.

Erza smiled "Are you okay Gray,"

Gray nodded "Yeah just tired," he then signed "it seems like people are always saving me,"

Erza smiled "Same for me,"

"Us too," Lucy, Wendy and the Exceeds walked in.

"You guys are safe," Gray smiled.

"Thank goodness," Erza signed in relief. "So I take it you guys heard what happened to Natsu,"

The others all nodded.

"Yeah, we heard he's been captured," Lucy said.

"And we need to save him," Gray declared.

"Yeah, and we'll definitely save him," Wendy balled her fist in determination.

"Aye. We'll save Natsu no matter what," Happy jumped and Carla and Lilly nodded.

Erza smiled "it seems we're all in agreement. Natsu has always been there for all of us, now it's time to return the favor," the others all nodded "All right let's go,"

The rain poured down on the island, Hades stood looking out and down to see the arrival of Erza and her team. "The third generation of Fairy Tail, Makarov's children, come face me, if you dare," Hades then turned to walk inside his airship.

Gray glared "He really thinks he's above us,"

"He's the one who hurt Master, we need to be careful," Erza said.

"If we defeat him, then we'll save Natsu-niisan and we can leave," Wendy

Lucy nodded "of course, with their leader down they have no choice but to leave,"

"Happy, Lilly, Carla, I need you three to destroy this ship's power source, can you do that," Erza asked.

"Aye," Happy jumped.

"Leave it to us," Lilly nodded.

"Guess we got no choice," Carla signed.

"And if we do that we might find Natsu," Happy said.

Erza nodded "Okay let's go,"

Gray then put his fist in his palm "Let's get this party started," he slammed his arms to the ground creating a giant case of ice stairs connecting to the airship.

"Let's go," Erza declared as she, Lucy, Wendy, and Gray ran up the stairs.

"Us too," Happy jumped.

"Let's go from the bottom," Lilly ordered and he and the other two Exceeds ran.

"Guys remember he is a wizard who is probably stronger than the master," Erza told them. "Let's go all out from the start,"

"Yeah," Wendy shouted.

"I plan on using every bit of my remaining magic on this guy," Gray declared.

"We don't have time to think of a plan, we need to beat him and save Natsu," Lucy said.

"Let's take him down," Erza shouted. She then requipped into her Black Wing armor and swords.

"Hades. Come face Fairy Tail's power," Erza declared.

"Fairy Tail's power huh," Hades remarked.

BLACK WING: MOON GLEAM

Erza fired an X-slash at Hades.

Gray then molded a gigantic ice blade.

COLD EXCALIBUR

Both of these attacks hit Hades, briefly stunning the old man. Lucy then took out one of her celestial keys.

OPEN GATE OF THE BULL TAURUS

The ax-wielding bull-man then appeared and slammed his ax down on Hades, but the old man jumped out of the way.

Wendy then started to cast an enchantment wind gathering around her.

"Magically enhance everyone's attack, defense, and speed,"

ARMS! ARMOR! VERNIER!

The teams' bodies began to glow and Erza and Gray charged at Hades. The two tried to strike at Hades, but he dodged each of their attacks.

"Pathetic," Hades called and summoned his magic chain, it grabbed Erza by her neck.

"GAH!" Erza gagged and she was thrown right into Gray.

Lucy took out another key.

OPEN SCORPIO

Scorpio appeared and smirked and aimed his stinger.

SAND BUSTER

Wendy took a deep breath.

SKY DRAGON ROAR

The breath and sand attack headed straight for Hades, and it was then the two attacks combined shocking Hades.

"A Unison Raid," Hades said shocked.

The attack hit Hades, and the members of Fairy Tail stood strong.

"Did we get him," Lucy said.

"No," Erza responded.

"Impressive," Hades said. "People say your mistakes become experience," the man walked through the smoke, and to Fairies' shock Hades was unfazed and not injured from their assault. "But a true mistake does not leave one with experience," Hades stood strong in front of the group "For those who make the mistake of facing me, they have no future,"

"You're kidding," Wendy said shocked.

"Not a scratch on him," Lucy said scared.

Both Erza and Gray were equally shocked by this.

"How we went all out against him," Gray shouted.

Hades smirked "Now, playtime is over," it was then the air grew tense around them. The group of Fairy Tail mages felt the fear in them grew. Hades' glare fell on to Wendy "AAHHH!" he shouted from the top of his lungs.

It was then in an instant Wendy but her clothes vanished.

"WENDY!" Erza shouted.

"Wendy," Gray muttered,

"She's gone," Lucy covered her mouth.

"Erased to nothing, maybe I should erase all of you one at a time," Hades declared.

"Bastard, what did you do to her," Gray shouted.

"Wendy," Lucy cried.

"It can't be," Erza stuttered.

"Everyone please calm down," a voice said. "I'm okay,"

The groups' eyes widened and they looked up and to their shock, they saw a grandfather clock on top of the ceiling.

"Is what she says," the clock said.

"Horologium," Lucy said.

"Wait if he's here," Gray said.

"Wendy's alive," Erza signed.

"My automatic emergency danger avoidance mode has been activated. That is why I am here and in time to save your friend Wendy," Horologium explained. " 'thank you Horologium-san,' she says,"

"So wait, if Wendy is up there then why are her clothes still here," Lucy asked.

"I only had time to grab her body," Horologium answered.

Gray blushed "Wait does that mean,"

" 'Kya' she says embarrassingly," Horologium spoke for her. "But don't worry I provided her with new clothes, now I must leave, and best of luck to you all,"

"Thank you for saving her," Erza smiled "We are in your debt,"

"I am only able to save you once, so please be careful," Horologium then vanished.

Wendy in a new set of clothes lands with a determined look.

"Hmm," Hades scoffed "Makarov's brood is quite something, this will be far more interesting,"

Erza's eyes widened "You know Master,"

Hades raised an eyebrow "Hmm, he didn't tell you. So there are no records of me in the guild library," he then smirked and stroked his beard "I was once known as Precth and I was one of Fairy Tail's founders and its Second Master,"

Erza and they were all completely shocked.

"He's one of Fairy Tail's founders," Lucy shook.

"And he was Second Master," Gray shocked.

"LIES!" Erza yelled.

"I was the one who gave Makarov the title of Guild Master," Hades told them.

"Quite spouting out crap," Gray shouted. "Like we believe someone like you,"

Hades signed "Believe what you wish,"

Hades then fired a blast of magic bullets at their feet blinding them with the dust, Hades used his magic chain to grab Lucy and Erza he then bound the two together and consumed them in an explosion.

"AAAAHHHH!" Erza and Lucy screamed.

Gray glared "Bastard,"

ICE MAKE LANCE

Gray fired ice spears at Hades, but the dark mage countered them with his magic bullets, destroying each spear,

Erza got back on her feet and charged at Hades, sword in hand. In response, Hades shot her in the leg. "GAH!" Erza fell to the ground again. Hades then fired more magic bullets, hitting Gray in the stomach and Wendy in the arm. He continued to fire rapidly at the group all of them falling to the ground, cackling as he fired his attack.

Meredy continued to run away from Juvia, trying to keep her grip on Zeref "What the hell is she," she continued to run freaked out.

"Get back here," Juvia creepily crawled after her. "Hand Zeref over,"

"What about this 'love' or something you told me about, just let me and Ultear leave with him" Meredy shouted.

"I have no intention of fighting you," Juvia shouted.

It was then suddenly Zancrow jumped in front of them, shocking Meredy and Juvia.

"Zancrow," Meredy uttered.

Zancrow glared "What the hell is this Meredy, Where are you taking Zeref,"

"Im.." Meredy didn't know what to say.

"I knew it, you and Ultear plan on betraying us after all," Zancrow shouted.

"No that's not it," Meredy pleaded.

"You guys are no longer part of Grimoire Heart," Zancrow fired his breath attack at Meredy knocking her bad and making her release her grip on Zeref. He then cackled "Zeref belongs to us traitors," Zancrow then walked over and picked up the unconscious Zeref.

"Wait," Meredy uttered. "You can't take him, Zeref is Ultear's future, my future,"

Zancrow laughed "Can you quit acting so stupid, how long will you keep saying crap like that,"

Meredy started to tear up "Ultear promised me, If we have Zeref then we can enter the Grand Magic World and my home will be returned to normal,"

"Your home village," Zancrow laughed "Right I and Hikaru were there too, Ultear promised you that," he cackled "Even though she was the one who destroyed your village,"

Meredy's and Juvia's eyes widened.

"You're lying," Meredy stuttered.

Zancrow laughed maniacally, seeing Meredy starting to cry.

"Acnologia," Zeref muttered.

"Huh," Zancrow stopped laughing.

Zeref's eyes slowly opened, his Mangekyo Sharingan activated. It was then suddenly a black wave exploded from him. Shocking, Meredy and Juvia who got caught in it.

Once the dust cleared, Zancrow fell, he was pale, his eyes losing life and he died on the floor. Zeref stood up and breathed heavily, he looked down and saw Zancrow dead on the floor, Zeref said nothing, all he did was close Zancrow's eyes. Zeref turned and saw Juvia and Meredy and saw they were only unconscious "I see you two survived, "

Zeref signed "I had no intention of causing darkness in this age, but my hand has been forced. I am no one's ally or enemy. But if this age wants to come to end then I will spring into action,"

Zeref then grasped his chest "Natsu, it seems someone has severed the life link between the two of us," he signed relief "So you will not die once I perish, who can possibly do something like that,"

Zeref smirked "No matter, I hope you are ready when we face each other in the future Natsu,"

Mest who was watching from a distance was shaking "Did he say Acnologia."

The Grimoire airship rumbled from the thunderstorm and from the fight between Fairy Tail and Hades.

Orochimaru smirked "It seems Hades is enjoying his time with your friends, are you sure you don't want to join yet,"

Natsu looked at Orochimaru and said nothing.

"I see, well I guess it's good to wait and let your body relax after the procedure," Orochimaru said. "But I guess you'll being going up there soon enough,"

Erza and her team were on the floor beaten and covered in bruises. "Damn it," Erza said.

"He's too strong," Gray uttered.

Hades stood over them "Do fairies have tails? An eternal riddle and an endless." he told them "That was the reason why Mavis named it something so ridiculous,"

Hades stood over Erza "But your journeys have come to an end, Mavis entrusted her will to me, and I entrusted mine to Makarov, but that was a mistake,"

Erza glared "Don't you dare insult Master"

"He was weak; he exposed the guild to too much light" Hades told her as he stomped on her head.

"That's just how our Fairy Tail works, we're not some fossil. We live putting everything on the line, if you don't have the courage to change, then stay where you are," Erza yelled.

"Quite you insolent brat," Hades shot Erza again.

"AAH!" Erza screamed as Hades continued to shoot her.

"If you want to curse someone for your suffering, blame Makarov, he made all of you weak," Hades said.

"Don't you dare insult our Master," Erza groaned as Hades continued shooting her?

Hades scoffed "It is his fault you will die, suffering,"

"ERZA!" Gray shouted.

"Stop it," Lucy cried.

"ERZA-SAN," Wendy cried.

Erza, covered in wounds, was shaking trying to stay awake "We will stop you, We will avenge our Master and save Natsu," she declared to him.

Hades scoffed "Enough of your nonsense," he then charged up a final magic bullet "Now die,"

"ERZA!" Lucy cried.

BOOM

A boom thunder roared, and in front of Erza appeared a blonde man in a cloak. Erza and the others were shocked at what they were seeing.

"So this guy is the one who hurt the old man,"

"Laxus," Erza said shocked seeing the exiled grandson of Makarov.

Hades was too shocked by the sudden appearance of Laxus, and in his mind, he saw an image of a young Makarov "Boy,"

Laxus then headbutted Hades directly knocking the dark mage back. Hades though got back on his feet and he recognized Laxus "I see you're the boy's grandson, who he exiled for a failed revolt,"

Laxus ignored Hades' comment "it quite pathetic seeing you guys getting beaten like this,"

"Why are you here," Erza questioned.

"I was paying the First Master some respect, I was a member of Fairy Tail remember," Erza smiled at this answer "and to my surprise that the second Master was here too, and where's Natsu I expected him to be here rampaging,"

Erza looked down "One of Grimoire's members captured him, he's being held captive on this ship,"

"I see," Laxus then started to build up electricity and he glared at Hades, "Since you are beating these guys up and kidnapping one of their own, how about I make this your grave,"

Hades signed "Hmm, who would have thought that the boy would have such a stuck up grandson,"

Gray smirked and reassured that with Laxus they now stand a chance.

Laxus encased his body in lighting and at lighting, speed appeared behind Hades shocking the man. Laxus then punched Hades with a powerful punch to the face. Laxus charged and continued his assault, his second punch sent Hades to the ground, but Hades dodged the third.

Hades smirked "Not bad boy, who would have thought Makarov had someone else at Gildarts' caliber,"

Laxus smirked "The old man once told me, when going up against a strong opponent. It doesn't matter how strong they are, it matters if you have the strength to stand up and fight,"

"Laxus," Erza uttered.

Hades scoffed "foolish boy, those are the words weaklings use, now that you warm up come and face me, boy,"

Laxus cracked "Sounds good, and once I kick your ass we'll get Natsu back,"

Orochimaru smirked "I see you're going to join now are you,"

Natsu said nothing and walked out of the room.

"Best of luck Natsu-kun,"

LIGHTING DRAGON ROAR

Hades quickly dodged the breath attack and fired his magic chain at Laxus, and the chain grabbed the giant globe behind Laxus. Hades smirked and used the globe to attack Laxus, but the thunder mage dodged it.

Laxus then appeared in front of Hades prepared to attack, but Hades used his telekinesis to force him back. Laxus quickly recovered but he was surrounded by magic circled shocking him "He formed an Amaterasu formula this fast,"

"Die," Hades said. Hades then activated the spell engulfing Laxus in a large explosion pushing all the others away.

"Laxus," Gray shouted.

"Those who are caught in this spell are now no longer able to move, they lose all power in their limbs, even if you defend your magic power is gone," Hades declared, but suddenly Hades was kicked in the back of the head by Laxus.

Erza was shocked and amazed "Was he always this strong,"

"Amazing," Gray said.

"Come on, that was just power from one leg, and I still got another one," Laxus declared. "And I still got my head and my entire body, you want to see what happens when I use all of them,"

Hades scoffed "You youngsters always spout off confidence,"

Hades and Laxus charged at each other.

"Die brat," Hades charged with a dark punch.

"You first," Laxus declared, countering with a lighting punch.

The impact of the attack caused another explosion making the others once again be knocked back by the shockwave. Once the dust cleared, to their shock Laxus was on his knee breathing heavily.

"Damn it," Laxus pants.

Hades smirked "Isn't it too early to fall to your knees,"

"Laxus," Gray shouted.

"Don't tell me he was hit by the Amaterasu formula," Erza said.

Laxus breath heavily "Damn the world is vast, I still have a long way to go,"

Hades smirked and prepared another giant ball of energy "Hmm, you all fought well, now prepare to die,"

"Damn it, is this all we can do," Gray struggled to get up.

"He's too strong," Lucy cried.

"We couldn't do anything," Wendy teared.

"Damn it," Erza clenched her fist, "I can't access that power again, if I had it maybe we could have won,"

"Die, Makarov's Fairy Tail," Hades declared.

"I'm sorry, Natsu," Erza said in sadness.

It was then suddenly footsteps were heard approaching, and the group felt tremendous power approaching.

"This power," Wendy shook, feeling the approaching person.

"I feel it too," Erza said.

"Who the hell is it," Gray shook.

Hades looked up and stopped his attack "You're.."

But Hades didn't get to finish his sentence, as the person who appeared attacked Hades piercing him in the chest. "GAH," Hades said, and he fell to the ground.

Erza and the others were shocked, and they saw that person who struck Hades and they all smiled.

"Natsu," Erza smiled.

"You're okay," Gray smirked.

"Thank goodness," Lucy signed in relief.

"Natsu-niisan," Wendy teared.

Natsu didn't say anything, he was silent.

"Natsu," Erza said.

Laxus' eyes narrowed "Something's not right,"

"Natsu are you okay," Erza shouted.

Natsu was still silent and didn't say anything.

"Natsu!" Erza shouted again.

Natsu then started to turn around, thunder boomed as he did. Everyone's eyes widen in shock and horror, the right side of his face was covered with the curse mark, his right eye black with a sharp dark yellow cornea. His face showed coldness and no emotion.

"Hey...losers,"

Everyone was in shock horror at what they were seeing.

Erza was shaking.

"Natsu,"

Hey here is chapter 11 what do you all think. Originally this chapter was going to be completely different, but I went in a different direction. Hades pretty much went down kind of the same but ended a bit differently. Be sure to review and I will see you next time.
