I hope that you guys enjoyed the past chapter. I really tried my hardest with my very own OG chapter. There might be more chapters like that. I'm not fully sure just yet due to the fact that I want to try and get this Age of Ultron down. I hope that you guys enjoy this next chapter. This will be the first chapter of Age of Ultron. Without further ado Chapter 42. ENJOY!

Chapter 42

Everleigh put up a shield blocking gun fire as she worked with the rest of the team infiltrating a Hydra Base in Sokovia. Making their way through the woods fighting soldiers trying to get closer in destroying more bases for Hydra to make the world more at peace.

"Shit!" Tony's voice rang out over the com.

"Language! JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?" Steve said.

"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other HYDRA base we've taken." Jarvis's voice rang out.

"Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it. At long last." Thor said as he worked his way through.

Natasha knocked out some of the soldiers. ""At long last" is lasting a little long, boys."

"Yeah. I think we lost the element of surprise." Clint said as he was fired at.

"You think?" Everleigh questioned as she used her magic to throw two soldiers into one another.

"Wait a second. No one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said "language?"" Tony questioned teasing him a little.

"I know." Steve threw his bike at some soldiers driving up in their truck. "It just slipped out."

Everleigh let out a breath as she threw two soldiers into the air. "Now you're going to be teased about it Cap."

Steve let out a breath knowing that Everleigh was teasing him.

Everleigh vanished in front of some of the soldiers causing them to gasp out in shock, Everleigh was able to knock some of the soldiers out easily before running off, Her head turned sharply when she heard someone falling down onto the ground which was none other than Clint being knocked down by some young man.

"You didn't see that coming?" The young man zoomed off.

Everligh blinked a few times and let out a scream when Clint got shot at.

"Clint!" Natasha yelled.

The young man suddenly knocked Steve down as he sped past him.

"We have an enhanced in the field." Steve said over the com.

"Clint's hit!" Natasha called out. "Somebody want to deal with that bunker? Thank you."

"Stark, we really need to get inside." Steve called out as he fought some soldiers.

"I'm closing in. JARVIS, am I...closing in? Do you see a power source for that shield?" Tony questioned his AI in hopes that Jarvis would be able to give him some sort of an answer.

"There's a particle wave below the north tower."

"Great, I wanna poke it with something." Tony said before blowing up the forcefield on the base. "Drawbridge is down, people."

"The enhanced?" Thor called out over the com to Steve.

"He's a blur. All the new player's we've faced, I've never seen this. In fact, I still haven't."

"Not fully Captain. I'm enhanced but not like him. I feel that there is another enhanced besides him."

"What makes you think that Leigh?" Steve questioned his brows furrowed in worry.

"I can feel that there is another."

"Clint's hit pretty bad, guys. We're gonna need evac." Natasha called over the com her voice laced over with concern.

"I'm on my way, Nat." Everleigh said moving quickly knowing that she needed to help Clint to keep him from bleeding out.

"I can get Barton to the jet. The sooner we're gone the better. You and Stark secure the scepter." Thor called out.

"Copy that." Steve said over the com knowing that they needed to move quickly.

"It looks like they're lining up."

"Well, they're excited."

Thor pounded on Steve's shield with his hammer and the result was a wave of force knocking down all of the sdoldiers. "Find the scepter." Thor said flying away.

"And for gosh sake, watch your language!" Tony called out on the com.

Steve let out a soft sigh. "That's not going away anytime soon."

Everleigh made it to Clint's side and quickly brought her hands onto his wound. Her hands began to glow blue in hopes that she would be able to slow his bleeding. She nibbled her lower lip in nerves.

"We're locked down out here." Natasha said taking a breath over the com.

"Then get to Banner, time for a lullaby." Steve told Natasha.

Natasha looked nervously at Everleigh.

"Go." Everleigh said looking up at Natasha knowing that she was rather concerned.

Natasha nodded her head and moved quickly to go and find the Hulk.

Everleigh took a shaky breath and she kept her hands on Clint's wounds. She closed her eyes nervously trying to keep Clint from bleeding out.

Clint's hand touched Everleigh's shaking ones. He looked at her seeing the panic in her eyes. "I'll be okay, kid."

Everleigh sniffled softly remembering what had happened when Loki had faked his death that it messed her up and losing the man that helped her become part of Shield, she didn't want to lose him.

Thor watched her with a concerned gaze knowing that she had tried to save Loki. It made his heart clench in his chest. He hoped that she wouldn't lose Clint too. "Lady Everleigh, we got to him in time."

Everleigh looked up at Thor and saw the look in his eyes, concern. She felt her heart clench in her chest knowing that he didn't know that his brother was alive. She just didn't know how long she would be able to keep the secret of Loki being alive.

"We have a second enhanced. Female. Do not engage." Steve's voice rang out over the com.

"Affirmative." Everleigh said over the com.

"Guys, I got Strucker."

"Yeah, I got... something bigger. Thor, I got eyes on the prize."

"Grab it Tony and get out of there." Everleigh said over the com as she kept her glowing hands on Clint's wound.

"You got it blue witch."

Everleigh let out a breath. "You and your nicknames." She said shaking her head lightly as she looked down at Clint who held onto her hands with his blood covering both of their hands.
