Chapter 25 Kimimaro of Earth

"To start off day 3's matches we'll have Laxus of Fairy Tail B versus Hydra Fang's Kimimaro," Chapati announced.

"Good luck Laxus," Mira smiled.

"Hmm, don't get your ass kicked," Gajeel scoffed.

"His opponent is from Hydra Fang, I hope he'll be alright," Wendy said.

"Hydra has powerful members, but Laxus is in a league of his own, he'll win this," Gray smirked.

"I hope you're right," Lucy said.

"Hydra Fang will fall at the hands of Laxus," Freed smirked.

"Yeah, those guys got nothing on him," Bickslow laughed.

Evergreen laughed "Yes this will be an easy victory,"

"Hmm," Kurama squinted his eyes.

"What's wrong Kurama," Erza asked.

"This Kimimaro guy, he seems familiar. Like I've seen him before," Kurama told her.

"Huh," Erza was surprised by this.

Both Laxus and Kimimaro stood face to face in the arena.

Laxus' eyes narrowed at Kimimaro "this guy, something weird about him,"

"MATCH BEGIN!"

Once the gong went off, Kimimaro suddenly appeared in front of Laxus, shocking the lighting mage and the Fairy Tail guild.

"What the.." Laxus didn't have time to react as Kimimaro spin kicked him to the face.

"What the hell, he was so fast," Lisanna shouted..

"He attacked the moment the bell went off," Makarov shook. "Laxus,"

"Damn it," Laxus charged at Kimimaro and the lighting mage unleashed a barrage of punches at Kimimaro, but the Hydra dodged the moves with grace and he countered Laxus.

"What the hell is going on," Gray shook.

"Laxus is getting overpowered," Mira said, shocked.

"That can't be," Freed said. "COME ON LAXUS FIGHT!"

"Yeah, don't let this chump beat you," Bickslow shouted.

Kimimaro's eyes narrowed hearing them shout, he went for a kick but to his shock, Laxus caught his leg. Laxus smirked and he used the moment to pull Kimimaro towards him and punched him in the face.

"He got him," Gray smiled.

"Yeah get him Laxus," his guild cheered.

Laxus continued his assault on the white-haired man, finally landing punches on him.

"Hehe, see he's got this," Gajeel smirked.

"I guess so," Juvia said, shocked.

Laxus continued to hit Kimimaro with lightning-charged punches, it was then Kimimaro took out a hidden blade and started to slash at Laxus.

"Hmm, it seems he uses weapons too," Erza said.

"This man could be a real challenge for Laxus," Makarov stroked his chin.

Mavis nodded "Yes, but this man Kimimaro, I feel there is something different about him than the rest of his team,"

Kimimaro continued to slash at Laxus, who continuously dodged the slashes. Once Kimimaro brought the blade down again, but Laxus caught it and broke it.

"Huh that blade it's no normal sword," Laxus thought as he briefly glanced at it.

Laxus then charged at Kimimaro but was suddenly stopped when he felt something stab through his stomach. He looked down and saw another blade stabbed through his gut. Kimimaro then stabbed Laxus in both shoulders and kicked himself away.

"LAXUS!" Fairy Tail shouted.

"Damn it," Laxus felt to his knee.

"You're pretty good, but it's over," Kimimaro said.

Laxus smirked "Don't be so sure,"

"Huh," Kimimaro was then uppercut by Laxus.

Laxus then punched Kimimaro in the chest, but to his shock, his hand was caught by something.

"What the hell," Laxus went wide-eyed and saw Kimimarp's bones were sticking out of his body.

"What is that," Lucy shivered.

"His bones," Erza shook.

It was then a bone sticking out of Kimimaro's shoulder, and he pulled it out and pointed it at Laxus.

"He uses his bones as weapons," Makarov shook.

"What the hell is this guy," Gray shouted.

Kimimaro then kicked Laxus, and backflipped away.

"You really are strong," Kimimaro said."I knew this wouldn't be easy. You are quite tenacious and stubborn,"

Laxus smirked "Thanks for the compliment, this guy is going to be trouble to defend against all his attacks are all piercing strikes,"

"But now this is over," Kimimaro charged at Laxus and began to slash at him, cutting his body.

"GAH!" Laxus screamed.

"LAXUS!" the guild shouted.

"Laxus! You can't lose here, I believe in you," Freed shouted.

"You're the strongest there is Laxus," Bickslow yelled.

"Ah, they sure are loud, but still though Kimimaro-san is someone no ordinary person can beat," Sora smirked.

Kimimaro continued to slash at Laxus, the attacks getting faster and faster.

"Damn it," Laxus grind his teeth "I can't lose here,"

"HYAAAAH!" Laxus encased his body and lighting and tackled Kimimaro, sending him to the wall.

"GAH!" Kimimaro screamed as he hit the wall.

This shocked the members of Hydra Fang.

"Oi, where did this sudden burst of energy come from," Sora shouted.

"I don't know," Juzo said.

Laxus, using his lighting body, charged at Kimimaro and continued to punch him at high speeds, and power.

"How," Kimimaro coughed "how is he overpowering me,"

Kimimaro quickly got on his feet and fired bone projectiles at Laxus, but the Fairy mage destroyed the bone projectiles with his surrounding electricity, Kimimaro then shot out more bones sticking out of his body. He charged at Laxus and the two clashed and exchanged blows, but Laxus managed to knock Kimimaro back once again.

"I guess their boasting isn't just for show," Kimimaro's eyes narrowed, "never thought I would use it against him," he removed his shirt.

"Why'd he remove his shirt," Pantherlilly wondered.

"Does he have a stripping habit like Gray," Happy said.

Erza was surprised by this too, but it was then her eyes widen when she saw a mark on top of Kimimaro's chest "is that,"

"Hey Ur, is that," Meredy said shocked.

Ultear nodded "Yes, it is. So he's here too," her eyes narrowed.

"I never would have thought I would use this power against you," Kimimaro's eyes narrowed.

"So you'd been holding back this whole time," Laxus said "Suffice to say I'm offended,"

"Hmm, to be honest. I didn't want to participate, I was merely following orders, filling in for another member," Kimimaro said. "Who's much stronger than I am,"

Laxus' eyes narrowed "you mean someone else in their guild is much stronger than him,"

"This match is over," Kimimaro declared and the mark on his chest started to glow, and to the shock of Crime Sorcier and Fairy Tail black marks grew around Kimimaro's body, his body now completely covered with black parallel lines.

"Is that?!" Gray shouted.

"It can't be," Lucy shook.

"It looks like," Wendy shivered.

"A Curse Mark," Erza finished, her eyes widened in shock "Does that mean Hydra Fang is…"

"Yes now I remember, that Kimimaro guy is one of Orochimaru's underlings," Kurama said.

"What? Really," Erza said.

Kurama nodded "yes, from a long time ago. Even though Naruto was young at the time he had a hard time fighting him,"

Erza quickly looked back at the match "Laxus,"

"That's a Curse Mark," Mavis said.

"You mean that thing Natsu has," Lisanna said.

Makarov nodded "Yes, and does that mean…"

Laxus' eyes narrowed at Kimimaro "Don't tell me is that…"

Kimimaro was surprised by this "Yes," he answered "I'm surprised you know, this is my Curse Mark. The Cursed Seal of Earth, one of strongest curse marks there is, this should be enough to finish you," he started creating new bone claws.

Kimimaro charged at Laxus and tried to punch him, but Laxus caught the fist, and he uppercuts Kimimaro. He then tried to punch Kimimaro in the chest, but bones shot out, making him jump out of the way.

"You seem frightened by my power, don't worry you're not the first to react this way," Kimimaro said.

"If he has a curse mark then that means he might be here too," Erza's eyes narrowed. "Natsu,"

Laxus quickly dashed behind Kimimaro and attempted to kick him, but Kimimaro grew bones that stabbed Laxus' foot, trapping him. He then kicked Laxus away.

"It's hard for me to fight like this, I was trained to kill, not knock out," Kimimaro told him.

Laxus breath heavily "so this guy is trained killer, this just got harder,"

"Hey Ur, if one of Hydra's has a curse mark, then that means Orochimaru is here," Meredy shook.

Ultear nodded "Its possible he's acting as Hydra Fang's master,"

"We just need to find him then," Jellal said.

"Yes, but Orochimaru is a master of stealth and disguise, it's going to be difficult," Ultear said.

Laxus and Kimimaro continued to fight, Laxus felt overwhelmed again by Kimimaro's sudden increase in power.

"Damn, his power went up again," Laxus wiped his cheek, "I need to go all out now," Laxus then took a deep breath.

LIGHTING DRAGON ROAR

Laxus unleashed a powerful lightning breath attack, and once the attack made an impact with Kimimaro there was a loud explosion.

"Did that get him," Gray said.

Once the dust cleared, the crowd was shocked to see that Kimimaro was still standing but the bones he had out were completely broken.

Kimimaro looked at Laxus "You're much stronger than I expected."

"This guy is tough," Gajeel shouted.

"I hope Laxus can win," Mira said.

Laxus glared "Damn even after that he's still standing,"

"Amazing no matter what Laxus does he can't seem to take Kimimaro down,"

"How durable is this guy," Bickslow shouted.

"Come on Laxus, I believe in you," Freed cheered.

Laxus glared "This is guy is tough, no matter what I throw at him he keeps getting back up. I need a powerful enough attack to make sure he stays down but I also need to keep my distance because of those damn bones of his. wait maybe this will help" Laxus then raised his fist in the air and started to build up power and chant.

"What's he doing," Gray said.

"That spell," Erza thought "maybe it could be enough, but Kimimaro didn't even activate the 2nd stage yet,"

Laxus then brought his arm and fist down.

LIGHTING DRAGON RAGING BOLT

Laxus brought down a powerful lighting bolt onto Kimimaro once again creating another dust cloud and shockwave.

"Damn another all-out attack," Gray shields his eyes.

"He's using a lot of power, so he can be knocked out before Kimimaro can further transform," Erza said.

The dust cleared once again and to everyone's shock, they saw something terrifying.

"What the hell is that," Lector shook.

"Scary," Frosch shivered.

"no, it's too late," Erza's eyes widened.

"Hehe, it's over," Sora snickered.

Kimimaro's appearance changed; his skin was now dark grey, his physical appearance being similar to that of a dinosaur with a large tail, six large bones protruding from his back.

"What the hell are you, " Laxus glare.

"I'm simply a tool for my master," Kimimaro charged at Laxus and slammed him with his tail. Kimimaro then pulled out his spine, taking the form of a bone whip. He then threw it at Laxus and started to swing him around.

The other Fairy Tail members tried to look away.

"Not even Laxus can beat this guy," Macao grunted.

"What are we supposed to do," Wakaba said.

"Damn it, this guy is too strong," Laxus breathed heavily "how am I…"

"LAXUS!" Makarov shouted.

Laxus looked up at the Fairy Tail balcony and saw his grandfather raising his arm and hand up. His thumb and index finger pointed out. The hand sign he created so his grandfather would notice him.

"Old man," Laxus muttered, it was then the other guild members followed, giving him the signature hand sign. Laxus then, fueled with determination, charged his body with large amounts of lighting.

"AAAAAAHHH!" Kimimaro screamed as he was electrocuted, forcing himself to let Laxus go.

"I can't give up now," Laxus shouted. "I refuse to lose to someone like you,"

Kimimaro glared and charged at Laxus. As the two clashed once again, Laxus noticed that Kimimaro was now slower than before. "this guy he's slower now, transforming must have decreased his speed for exchange for power," Laxus smirked "which means I got a chance to take him down,"

Kimimaro clawed at Laxus, and he countered with a couple of lighting punches.

Kimimaro then tackled Laxus stabbing him as he did and sent him flying. Laxus quickly recovered. It was then Kimimaro made a large bone spear on his arm, and he charged at Laxus.

LIGHTNING DRAGON'S HEAVENWARD HALBERD

Laxus fired a lighting spear at Kimimaro, and he shielded himself with the bone spear. The lighting attack shattered the weapon to pieces, and Kimimaro was left stunned. Kimimaro was growing frustrated.

"Am I losing," Kimimaro thought "no not again, I have to prove my worth to him again,"

"I refuse to lose to weak trash like you," Kimimaro shouted.

Laxus smirked "It seems you're finally starting to lose your cool,"

Kimimaro glared and created another giant bone spear out of his arm. He then charged at Laxus once again. Laxus' eyes narrowed and he began to charge lighting in his fist.

DRAGON SLAYER SECRET ART

Kimimarro jumped at Laxus and thrust his spear forward.

"LAXUS!" Fairy Tail shouted.

Laxus was able to dodge Kimimaro's spear, with only his cheek getting cut. Laxus then threw a powerful lightning punch into Kimimaro's chest.

ROARING THUNDER

"AAAAHHHH!" Kimimaro screamed as he was hit directly and electrocuted by the powerful punch which sent a strong shockwave. Hitting him with enough force he was sent flying and hitting the wall. Once the dust cleared, the crowd saw Kimimaro was back in his human form.

"Orochimaru-sama, forgive me. I have failed you again," Kimimaro fell unconscious.

"I don't believe it," Chapati shook.

"THE WINNER IS FAIRY TAIL B'S LAXUS!" He yelled from the top of his lungs, getting cheers from the crowd.

"Yeah, he won," Gajeel shouted.

"That guy sure is amazing," Cana smirked, as Mira jumped in excitement.

"Laxus, I'm proud of you," Makarov smiled.

Juzo jumped down into the arena and picked up the unconscious Kimimaro. Seeing this Erza also jumped and confronted the man.

"Erza," Laxus and the others said.

"You, you know Orochimaru don't you," Erza confronted.

The other Fairy mages' eyes widened at Erza's questions.

"Erza Scarlet," Juzo said. "I know what you are asking me, but I can't answer it.

"Huh," Erza blinked.

Juzo simply remained silent and he carried Kimimaro away. Erza then looked up at the Hydra balcony and the rest of the team walked into the on top of the Castle, the hooded man continued to watch, his eyes narrowing at Fairy Tail.
