Chapter 27 Naval Battle: Reunion

"It's now Day 4 of the Grand Magic Games, and Today's event is the Naval battle, as the name suggests this is an underwater battle in our special water arena, and the order you are knocked out in determines your placement,"

"Hope Lucy will be alright," Lisanna said.

"Hey don't worry, she's got Aquarius on her side," Macao told her.

"Yeah but don't forget Juvia, she's basically won the thing by placing her in water," Wakaba said,

"But I bet Mermaid is going to do well," Droy ate his food.

"And there's Lamia's Chelia, and don't forget Saber, Minerva is a bad chick," Jet said.

"NOW LET THE NAVAL BATTLE BEGIN"

Lucy smiled and took out a key "Looks like I'll start us off,"

OPEN: AQUARIUS

"Yup, she brought Aquarius out first," Gray smirked.

"With her, it's Lucy's victory," Elfman shouted.

"Hmm," Aquarius smirked, "You bimbos are in my domain," she shouted and blaster a beam of water at the girls.

"WOAH!"

Juvia smirked "I knew she'd bring Aquarius out first"

WATER CYCLONE

Juvia fired a cyclone of water at Aquarius's attack, surprising spirits seeing they are evenly matched.

"We're even!" Aquarius was shocked.

Juvia snickered "Of course I trained myself just as much as the others,"

"I can't let myself be easily beaten in front of Gray-sama," Juvia declared "I will win this fight,"

"Juvia-san seems concerned how Gray-san sees her," Wendy said,

Gray observed the match with interest, still unsure of his feelings.

"I will defeat you, love rival," Juvia shouted.

"I told you I don't want him," Lucy shouted back.

"Woah, this is wild," Rocker swam back.

Sora smirked "Hey, a fight between love rivals huh,"

"WE'RE NOT LOVE RIVALS!" Lucy yelled.

Jenny smirked "Well the most annoying ones are duking out,." she then kicked Rocker out of the ring "We can take each other out,"

"AAH!" NOT WILD!" Rocker screamed.

"AND QUATRO PUPPY IS OUT!"

"What a cheap shot," Gajeel scoffed.

"Well they want to narrow it down," Cana said.

"Good job Jenny," Mira cheered.

It was then the other competitors began to fight each other, with Jenny and Risley going at it pretty evenly.

"Oh, looks like things are heating up," Sora smirked, he then heard someone coming from behind him, he instantly moved and saw it was Chelia "Oh, the little God Slayer wants to take me on,"

Chelia smiled "I want to see what my magic can do against you," she gathered wind around her arms.

"Sorry, kid," Sora dodged her attacks, and he instantly kicked her out of the ring. "But you're 100 years too early to take me on,"

"Aww," Chelia groaned.

"LAMIA'S SHELIA IS OUT!"

"Wow he took out Chelia," Wendy said shocked.

"That Hydra guy is no joke," Elfman said.

"Damn it Chelia I'm gonna spin you," Odaba yelled.

Aquarius and Juvia continued to clash with each other.

"This is annoying, but I have to go," Aquarius told Lucy.

"What? WHY!" Lucy questioned.

"I got a date," Aquarius said smugly and vanished.

"YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS" Lucy shouted.

"Now my chance," Juvia increased her water cyclone's power, Lucy tried to swim away but she got caught in the attack.

Lucy opened her eyes and to her shock, she was saved by Aries and Virgo.

"I'm sorry, is this too fluffy," Aries shielded them.

"Don't worry princess, your sexy defenders are here," Virgo declared.

"Virgo, Aries," Lucy signed in relief.

Sora signed "Seriously," his gaze then went towards Minerva "that Saber woman why hasn't she made a move yet,"

"Those two can't save you from me," Juvia fired another cyclone at Lucy and the spirits.

"Virgo, Aries, be careful she's powerful," Lucy shouted.

"Don't worry, we got this princess, even though I prefer the ground," Virgo dropped Lucy.

"I know how strong you are, but nobody can defeat me underwater" Juvia declared and she began to swirl large amounts of water in her palm "This is the result of unlocking my Second Origin, my new move,"

GO FORTH! WINGS OF LOVE! GRAY-SAMA

"STOP DOING THIS TO ME!" Gray shouted, his face with a blush.

Juvia fired a whirlpool lined with pink hearts at Lucy, Aries, Virgo, Minerva, and Sora. Minerva easily deflected the attack, and Sora dodged it with ease. However the attack knocked out Risley, and Jenny.

"Hang on Princess," Virgo, and Aries shielded Lucy, but the attack forced them back to the spirit world.

"Amazing Juvia's attack knocked two competitors"

"Gray-sama, what do you think?" Juvia turned to Gray and saw he was red, "Why is he embarrassed," but before she could react, Juvia was teleported outside the water sphere.

"Hmm," Sora raised an eyebrow "that Saber lady did she,"

"Woah Juvia is out,"

"But how?" Gajeel questioned.

Sting smirked "As expected of m'lady, she could've taken them all out but she chose to conserve her power,"

"She basically won already," Lector agreed,

"The last remaining three are Fairy Tail A's Lucy, Sabertooth's Minerva, and Hydra Fang's Sora, who will come out on top,"

"Ehhh, what interesting magic," Sora smirked.

"With my magic, I can send you both out, but I must make you both pay for taking Saber's glory," Minerva declared. "And I don't want my fun to be spoiled,"

Sora signed "Are all you Saber cocky in your own abilities,"

Minerva smirked "Come and see for yourself," it was then two spheres appeared next to Lucy and Sora.

"What is that," Lucy questioned.

"That's," Sora's eyes narrowed.

It was then two spheres exploded, Lucy being knocked back, and Sora shielding himself.

"She's producing heat underwater," Gray said, shocked.

"But how," Elfman shouted.

"Heh, Territory magic huh," Sora asked.

Minerva smirked "Knowing my magic won't save you,"

"We'll see," Sora smirked.

Minerva scoffed and several more explosions hit Sora, and Lucy, the former managing to dodge it with little effort.

"AAAHH!" Lucy screamed as she was hit again.

"Woah," Sora swiftly dodged explosion after explosion but Lucy kept getting hit,

"Damn, I need my…" Lucy reached for her keys and was shocked to see they were gone "My keys where are they…"

Minerva smirked and held them out revealing she took them. She then caused another explosion knocking Lucy back.

"It's so hot," Lucy breath heavily "It feels like I'm going to get burned,"

"This is so annoying," Sora continued to dodge and block Minerva's explosions.

"Lucy," Happy stuttered.

"Without her keys, she can't fight back," Carla shouted.

"Not only that, she has 2 powerful opponents to worry about," Pantherlilly said.

"I'm completely cornered," Lucy thought, she then looked to Sora "why isn't he doing anything, he's just watching," but she quickly brushed it off "No, I'm not quitting now. I won't give up. If I lose here then I can't face anyone," her thoughts turned to that of Natsu "I won't betray anyone's feelings its because of them I'm here now. I won't lose," she declared.

Sora was left shocked at Lucy's determination "hmm, as he said all of them are stupidly stubborn,"

Minerva was silent, halting her attacks, and she glared at Lucy, and fired more explosive spheres at her, continuously ignoring Sora.

"What's this it seems Minerva is focusing all her attacks on Lucy," Chapati shouted.

"Don't worry, once finish her, you're next," Minerva glared "she just made me angry,"

Minerva continued her assault on Lucy, brutally beating her much to the shock and horror of the crowd.

Erza and her team felt anger swelling up in them.

"STOP IT!" Gray yelled.

Sabertooth just looked at them with smug looks on their faces, making their anger swell.

"YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!" Both Erza and Gray glared. "SABERTOOTH!"

Erza glared at Minerva, her eyes turning a sharp red, she grew claws from her nails clenching her fist, it bleeding as it did.

Minerva laughed maniacally "haha, come on where is that energy from before, you'll talking big earlier," Minerva grabbed Lucy by her hair, "Or is it that like the others you're all talk,"

Lucy glared and spat in her face, angering Minerva "You…"

SKY DEVIL RAGE

It was then suddenly both Minerva and Lucy were hit by Sora's breath attack knocking Lucy and Minerva out of the arena. Immediately Erza, Gray, and Wendy jumped down catching the injured Lucy.

"Lucy, are you alright," Gray asked the beaten girl, but she gave no response "Damn it she's not responding,"

"Don't worry, I'll heal her," Wendy said.

"I'll help," Chelia ran to Wendy, and the two began to heal Lucy.

Minerva stood up and glared at Sora, who slid down "You…."

Sora smirked "Sorry, but I was getting tired of that grizzly sight you were showing,"

Sora then kneeled down and helped with the healing, surprising Chelia and Wendy.

"Hey, may not look like it, but I'm a doctor you know," Sora told them, a bit annoyed. "I'm not some thug ya know. hmm, Her injuries aren't fatal, I'm lucky I stopped it when I did. She'll live she just needs to rest for a while"

"I see," Wendy nodded "Thank you,"

Minerva scoffed, "What are you looking at Scarlet,"

Erza glared "You hurt my friend,"

"Oh, but I followed the rules, didn't I? I mean she's not dead," Minerva smirked.

"You bitch," Gray growled.

"You torture an opponent who already had no chance of winning," Erza glared.

"Oh come one, the crowd enjoyed it right," Minerva said.

"I wouldn't say enjoy, I say more horrified and traumatize," Sora shrugged.

"Hmm, say what you will, I followed the rules," Minerva scoffed "And you and the rest of the guilds here should their place under our feet,"

"You," Gray glared, about to attack her, but Sting, Rufus, and Organ intervened.

"Oh, you wanna act tough huh," Sora smirked, gathering a pink wind around his arm.

Sting smirked "come and try it,"

"Hey, they're going to fight,"

"A three-way fight between Fairy Tail, Sabertooth, and Hydra Fang!"

"Awesome,"

"Fight, Fight, Fight,"

Chants can be heard throughout the crowd, wanting to see the 3 guilds duke it out in the stadium right now.

Bacchus smirked "If they gonna fight, we should join too,"

"WILD!"

"If they're going to fight, we might have to join too," Pantherlilly said.

"Aye," Happy nodded.

"Don't be stupid," Carla lectured,

"What should we do," Cana asked her team.

"Lucy," Mira said in a worried voice.

"Fight, Fight, Fight, Fight,"

The chants grew louder and louder, Gray, Sora, and Sting all prepared for a fight until Erza intervened. Stopping Gray from engaging.

Erza then glared at Saber "I don't care if you guys are number 1 or the strongest guild, One thing is for certain though." her eyes still a sharp red, sending a wave of hesitation at Saber, even Sora shook a little "You made a mistake of a making an enemy of Fairy Tail,"

"Oh, what face Scarlet, I enjoy seeing those kinds of faces." Minerva snickered. "You know the ones that will turn to despair once we eliminate them,"

"Ha, you really think you can beat us. You guys can't even compare to me and Rogue because unlike Natsu-san, Gajeel-san, and theat kid, we're true dragon slayers," Sting mocked.

"Hoho. you sure are confident aren't ya," Sora smirked. "Fairy Tail may not want to fight you guys now, but that won't stop me from beating your arrogant ass,"

"Bring it," Sting shouted, preparing a white punch.

"That's enough, Sora," a male voice called out.

Sora froze recognizing the voice he heard. As did both Erza and Gray hearing the cold voice. It was then Wendy, Gajeel, and Laxus went wide-eyed too, recognizing the scent they were smelling.

"This scent," Laxus thought.

"It can't be…" Gajeel shook.

"It smells like…" Wendy shivered.

"Forget about him. What's the point of defeating him anyway,"

"Fine," Sora stopped his attack, he looked up at one of the statues overlooking the arena and smirked. Erza and the others looked up as well, as did the crowd.

Makarov looked up, his eyes filled with shock and horror. "That's.."

Mavis' eyes narrowed "no question, that's him. They have the same eyes,"

"Yajima-san, is that?" Chapati said.

"Yes, I do believe it is," Yajima answered. "It seems more trouble has come your way Maky. I wonder if the sponsors will allow him to participate,"

"You sure took your sweet ass time getting here," Sora smirked. "seriously I thought he wasn't going to let you enter,"

"It seems he's finally here," Juzo said.

Hitomi nodded "Yes with him, the plan will go smoothly,"

Kagura agreed with a nod as well, "with him here, the other guilds don't stand a chance,"

Erza's eyes widened in shock and in horror at who she was seeing. On top of the statue was a young man close to her age and dark salmon-colored hair, he wore a loose open long sleeve white shirt, with black pants wrapped in a dark blue cloth, tied with a purple belt. He also adored a sword on his waist.

"Natsu,"

Natsu's eyes narrowed at Erza.

"Erza,"

Hey guys, how you doing. Well, Natsu has finally made his appearance in the Games, Wonder how the tides will shift now. I know the Naval battle might be kind of a disappointment. I know people expected Sora to torture Minerva but decided against it. So anyway be sure to review and I will see you next time.
