I'm planning on some og chapters as well, but it'll be a bit before they are posted. Since I'm currently planning up to 113 chapters total. I haven't quite planned out WandaVision just yet, but I'm sure that I'll get there soon. Without further ado Chapter 45. ENJOY!

Chapter 45

Everleigh shifted as she looked at the computer that was in front of her as Maria worked.

"He's all over the globe. Robotics labs, weapons facilities, jet propulsion labs, reports of a metal man, or men, coming in and emptying the place." Maria said with her lips pursing together in concern.

"Fatalities?" Steve questioned crossing his arms.

"Only when engaged. Mostly guys left in a fugue state going on about old memories, worst fears, and something too fast to see."

"Maximoffs. Well, that makes sense he'd go to them, they have someone in common."

"Not anymore." Maria said, handing him a tablet showing a photo of Struker's dead body with the word PEACE written in blood on the wall next to him.

Clint was busy talking on the phone with someone. "That's a negative. I answer to you. Yes, ma'am."

"Barton, we might have something." Steve said, interrupting Clint.

"Gotta go." Clint hung up his phone.

"Who was that?"

"Girlfriend."

Steve left the room to gather the team up.

Everleigh gave Clint a knowing look. "You know they'd be shocked with the truth." She mused with a smile.

Clint brought his finger up to his lips, shushing her.

Everleigh let out a soft giggle. "You know I won't tell."

Clint winked at her cheekily knowing that was very much true.

Steve came back with the rest of the team before showing them the photo Maria had shown him.

"What's this?" Tony questioned looking at Tony.

"A message. Ultron killed Strucker."

"And he did a Banksy at the crime scene, just for us."

"This is a smokescreen. Why send a message when you've just given a speech?" Natasha questioned crossing her arms.

"Strucker knew something that Ultron wanted us to miss."

"Yeah, I bet he…" Natasha looked at the computer monitor. "Yep. Everything we had on Strucker has been erased."

"Not everything." Tony said, looking over at Natasha.

"Looks like we are going through the paper files." Everleigh said, letting out a soft breath.

ULTRON

The team began to go through the physical files that they had.

"Known associates. Well, Strucker had a lot of friends." Steve pointed out.

"Well, these people are all horrible." Bruce said, putting the file he had down.

"Wait. I know that guy." Tony said seeing a photo.

Bruce passed the photo to Tony.

"From back in the day. He operates off the African coast, black market arms."

Steve looked at Tony with an accusing gaze.

"There are conventions, alright? You meet people, I didn't sell him anything. He was talking about finding something new, a game changer, it was all very "Ahab.""

Thor pointed at the scar on the back of Klaue's neck. "What's this?"

"Uh, it's a tattoo. I don't think he had it…"

"No, those are tattoos, this is a brand."

Bruce went to the computer to figure out what the brand was. "Oh, yeah. It's a word in an African dialect meaning thief, in a much less friendly way."

"What dialect?" Steve questioned looking over at Bruce.

"Wakanada...? Wa...Wa...Wakanda."

"If this guy got out of Wakanda with some of their trade goods…" Tony said, crossing his arms.

"I thought your father said he got the last of it?" Steve questioned looking over at Tony.

"I don't follow. What comes out of Wakanda?" Bruce questioned looking over at the two men.

Tony looked at Steve's shield. "The strongest metal on earth."

"Where is this guy now?" Steve questioned.

"Wherever he is, he's not going to be safe for long." Everleigh said, crossing her arms rather concerned.

"Leigh?"

"Ultron is probably looking for him… to get whatever information he needs."
