Princess Hisui walked up to the Eclipse Gate, she watched as the soldiers used machinery to move it outside the castle.

"It's nearly time, the Eclipse Plan is about to commence," Hisui said.

Arcadios nodded "Yes, this will save our country and maybe the world,"

"Yes indeed, the calamity is nearly upon and this is the kingdom's last hope,"

"And how are you so sure it will work," Arcadios questioned.

"I've studied this gate for years it will work,"

Hisui nodded "Then we will put our trust in you Orochimaru-san,"

…

Erza and the others all looked up at Natsu. "Natsu we're bringing you home, no matter what"

"None of you will be able to even to put a scratch on me,"

Natsu drew his chokuto, it was then he vanished much to their shock, but Erza knew what was coming she turned and Natsu appeared behind them ready to strike with his sword, but she managed to block it.

"Come back to us, Natsu," Erza pleaded.

"Hmm," Natsu scoffed.

The two quickly jumped away from each and Erza requipped into her Heaven's Wheel armor.

CIRCLE SWORD

Erza fired several swords at Natsu, who in response threw several kunai at the blades deflecting them. It was then Gajeel appeared behind Natsu.

IRON DRAGON LANCE

Gajeel attempted to hit Natsu with an iron pole, but the fire mage dodged it like it was nothing, and he then kicked Gajeel into a building.

It was then both Mira and Juvia appeared at both sides of him, each preparing to attack.

WATER CLAW

Juvia slashed at him with a water blade and Mira attempted to punch him, but to their shock, Natsu caught both their hands. Natsu then tightened his grip and tossed the two mages away. It was then to Natsu's surprise Laxus appeared in front of him and attempted to punch him in the face, Natsu in a quick motion caught the fist but he was still knocked back.

ICE MAKE LANCE

Gray fired several ice spears at Natsu, though the latter dodged and destroyed them with his chokuto.

OPEN CAPRICORN

Lucy then summoned Capricorn to fight Natsu.

"I would do as you wish, Lucy-sama," Capricorn said.

"Please, restrain Natsu," Lucy ordered.

"Understood," Capricorn nodded, he charged at Natsu and the two engaged in combat, though Natsu easily overpowered the spirit, sending him back to the spirit world, shocking Lucy.

Erza then appeared and tried to kick Natsu, but the dragon slayer blocked her attack. Natsu then attempted to slash at Erza, but she stopped him by grabbing his arm.

"Stop it Natsu," Erza pleaded to him.

Natsu's eyes narrowed, his Sharringan activated and he kicked Erza away, though she quickly regained her footing. Natsu then formed several hand signs and lighting began to charge through his hand.

CHIDORI NAGASHI

Natsu then slammed his lightning-charged hand to the ground, Erza's and the other's eyes widened as the ground began to crack beneath them, and streams of lightning began to go after them.

The Fairy Tail mages all started to run to avoid the attack, though it seems the attack was only heading straight for Erza.

"Damn it," Erza swiftly dodges the large electric currents.

It was then Natsu released a bigger wave of electricity and fired it at Erza. Erza's eyes widen at the larger attack heading for her.

Laxus quickly jumped in front of her "Get behind me," he shouted, the others nodded and got behind Laxus who withstood the attack.

Natsu's eyes narrowed "How annoying,"

"Heh, Natsu forgot Laxus is a lighting dragon slayer so his lighting won't work on Laxus," Freed smirked.

Wendy watched as Natsu stood there, doing nothing after his last attack. "Natsu-niisan," It was then Wendy remembered how she cried for not being able to stop Natsu. Wendy quickly shook off her feelings "no I can't cry I need to help," Wendy then gathered the wind in her hands and ran at Natsu, who turned and just looked at her silently.

Natsu turned to Wendy's direction, and his eyes narrowed at her. He then brought his sword out, and Erza and the others went wide-eyed in shock realizing what he was going to do. Natsu then ran towards Wendy as well, sword in hand.

"NATSU! DON'T" Erza screamed.

"Not good," Gajeel ran in between them, causing Wendy to stop and he then turned his arm into a sword to block the attack

Natsu thrust his sword forward and to all their shock Natsu's sword went right through Gajeel, resulting in him being stabbed through the arm to the shoulder and being pinned to the wall.

"Gajeel!" Levy cried.

"What the hell was that," Jet said, shocked.

"Natsu's sword went right through Gajeel's," Max said.

Mavis' eyes narrowed "That sword, could it be,"

"The defense you chose Gajeel was wrong," Natsu bluntly told him.

"What the hell," Gajeel coughed.

"This sword is special, the Kusanagi blade is nearly unblockable. And with a single cut it can paralyze and numb my foes," Natsu told him. "And when infused with my chakra it can cut through nearly anything,"

Gajeel smirked "Well that's cool and all but you forgot one thing dumbass,"

Natsu's eyes narrowed, and it was then Gajeel broke the blade of the sword.

"I am an Iron Dragon Slayer," Gajeel shouted.

Gajeel threw a punch at Natus, but Natsu quickly dodged and deflected the punch. Natsu then kicked Gajeel in the side knocking the Iron Dragon back. It was then Laxu appeared in front of him attempting to punch but Natsu leaned back narrowingly dodging Laxus. Mira then appears above him trying to use the moment to knock Natsu to the ground, but once again Natsu dodges it.

Natsu then kicked Mira in the air, and it was then Juvia started to attack with slashes of water, Natsu swiftly dodged the attacks, he then tried to grab Juvia, but she used her water body, and she smirked at him. Natsu however smirked as well, making Juvia go wide-eyed, Natsu then charged electricity in his hand that was caught in Juvia's water body, electrocuting her.

ICE MAKE ARROWS

Gray then fired several ice arrows at Natsu forcing him to jump back and dodge. Erza then charged at him and tried to slash him with her katana. Natsu simply dodged and the two then engaged in hand-to-hand combat. Natsu and Erza were pretty even, though Natsu gained the advantage by sweeping her and kicking her in the air.

Natsu then saw Wendy and Lucy ready to attack, Wendy took a deep breath, and Lucy summoning Scorpio.

SKY DRAGON ROAR

SAND BUSTER

Both Wendy and Scorpio fired their attacks at Natsu.

"ERZA!" Gray shouted creating a giant ice hammer, Erza nodded and jumped on top of it, and Gray swung her towards Natsu.

Erza being the center of Lucy and Wendy's unison raid went straight for Natsu. Erza using the unison raid as a booster launched herself at high speed at Natsu finally landing a punch directly in the face. Natsu was knocked back and sent flying and tumbling on the ground, but he quickly backflipped and landed back on his feet.

Natsu scoffed in frustration.

"Why" Erza clenched her fist "Why can't you understand, NATSU!"

Natsu's eyes narrowed, and the two continued their fight, Gray and Gajeel attempted to attack from the back but he easily dodged the attacks. Wendy and Juvia then tried to attack from above, and in response Natsu threw kunai and shuriken at them, knocking the two out of the air.

"Natsu, if you keep going down this path then.." Erza clashed with him.

"Hmm," Natsu scoffed "You haven't changed one bit,"

"What the hell is wrong with you Natsu," Gray shouted.

"I have my own path to follow, all of you need to stay out of my way," Natsu told them.

"Natsu, Orochimaru is using you," Lucy pleaded.

"And, as long as he helps me achieve my goal then he can use me however he wishes," Natus responded.

"Why can't you understand Natsu," Lucy cried "Fairy Tail is nothing without you,"

Natsu's eyes narrowed at Lucy "You're annoying," it was then Natsu activated his Sharringan staring directly at Lucy, Lucy felt a chill go through her body and she fell to the ground.

"Lucy-san," Wendy caught her.

"What did you do," Erza said.

"She's unconscious, that's it," Natsu swung his sword at her.

Natsu and Erza continued to clash as the others watched, the two were pretty even in fighting ability no one knew who would come out on top.

"Hmm, you've gotten better Erza," Natsu and Erza got into a grappling fight. "But it's pointless," Natsu then low kicks her and kicks her in the chin. "I'm still stronger than you, I won't show you mercy this time," Natsu backflipped away from Erza and she in response threw kunai and shuriken at him but he deflected with his own blade. Erza then formed several hand signs.

KAGE BUUSHIN

Erza created 5 shadow clones and all of them engaged Natsu in combat. Laxus, Gajeel, and Gray also joined. Natsu continued to dodge and block attacks coming from the team and easily overpowered them.

"Is that it," Natsu scoffed "You were much tougher last time,"

"Erza," Kurama told her.

"I know," Erza nodded.

Natsu's eyes narrowed "hmm, Playtime is over,"

Natsu appeared behind Erza and attempted to kick her but she managed to dodge it. The two then once again engaged one on one, both of them dodged each other's attacks. Natsu backflipped away and fired Chidori Senbon at her, but she dodged that attack as well. Natsu then tried to slash at her with his blade but she leaned back dodging it.

"Damn these two are on a whole other level," Gray said as he watched

"I guess 7 years of training really made a difference," Wendy nodded.

"None of us can keep up," Gajeel grunts in frustration.

"So this is the result of both their training," Makarov said as he watched the fight.

Mavis nodded "Yes, it seems they both grown to a level far above what they were before,"

Natsu tried again to attack with the blade, but she dodged it again and countered with a punch to the face, sending flying into a building. Erza then jumped onto him pinning him to the building.

"Did that wake you up," Erza glared.

Natsu's eyes narrowed at her "You're still such a child. Erza," Natsu pushed Erza off of him, sending her flying. Natsu then landed gracefully on the ground and formed several hand signs.

KATON: GOKAKYU NO JUTSU

Natsu fired a large fireball at Erza and the Fairy Mages.

"ERZA!" The Fairy Tail team cried as they saw her being consumed by the flame.

As Erza was being consumed by the flame "Kurama,"

"Right" Kurama nodded.

Erza felt her body shake, "GAHRAH!" she roared, her body now enveloped in a red aura, her eyes now a sharp red and grew sharp whiskers. Her roar managed to destroy the fireball creating a cloud of dust.

Natsu shielded his eyes and to his and everyone's shock the dust in the air swirled around and it revealed Erza, cloaked with Kyuubi chakra. A Rasengan ready in her open hand.

"So this is the Kyuubi's power," Natsu said, as he charged his blade with his Fire magic and lighting chakra.

"Natsu, I'm going to bring you back," Erza declared.

"It's over," Natsu said.

"This will be the final attack," Mavis said.

Makarov nodded "all lies in this final strike,"

Natsu and Erza stared each other down, memories of their fight on Tenrou flashed in their minds,

Erza's team was stunned in amazement at the power both were displaying.

"Erza," Gray said.

"Amazing," Mira said.

Natsu and Erza then jumped at each other, ready to attack.

"ERZA!"

"NATSU!"

Both then threw their attacks forward, the clash of their attacks creating a powerful shockwave. Natsu and Erza both tried to push each other back, Natsu seemingly having the advantage in power.

"GO ERZA!" Fairy Tail cheered.

"DO IT!" her team shouted.

"BWAAAHHHH!" Erza screamed in determination, her Rasengan grew bigger, stunning Natsu. Natsu tried to push forward and overpower it but the Rasengan knocked his sword out of his hand. The Rasengan hit him directly, consuming and exploding, sending him flying into another building.

Erza landed on the ground breathing heavily.

"No freaking way," Gajeel said.

"SHE DID IT!" Fairy Tail cheered.

"No," Mavis interrupted.

"What," Max said.

"But she beat Natsu," Droy said.

"Just watch," Mavis told them.

The dust from the impact of the attack cleared, and it revealed Natsu on his knee covered in some injuries, but other than that he looked unscaved. Natsu didn't even look fazed or shocked by the fact that he was sent flying.

"Not bad," Natsu complimented, but he stood up and sheath his sword "but the game ends here,"

"That attitude," Gray said.

"Don't tell me, he wasn't even serious," Laxus glared.

"What! Natsu wasn't even fighting seriously," Jet said, shocked.

Mavis nodded "Yes if he were, he would have used his curse mark,"

Makarov nodded "Indeed this battle just grew more difficult,"

Natsu then jumped on top of the church and formed a hand sign then raised his right arm in the air "I'll erase all of you right here,"

Erza's eyes widened "Everyone take cover, this attack is different from the others!"

"I wouldn't use that Jutsu, Natsu-kun,"

Fairy Tail's eyes widened in shock, out of nowhere Orochimaru appeared and grabbed Natsu's arm.

"Why did you stop me," Natsu questioned the snake man.

"Because I feel they'll be useful in the future, if they were to stop any of your brother's followers then your revenge will be much easier," Orochimaru told him.

"Hmmm," Natsu said, releasing his arm from Orochimaru's grip.

Orochimaru smirks "Come on you know I'm right, if they encounter the 12 or Tartaros and defeat them, then your goal will be obtained much easier,"

Natsu signed "fine,"

"Good," Orochimaru smirked."Now let's go, the others are waiting. The plan is about to begin,"

"Natsu, wait," Erza shouted.

Natsu just looked down on Fairy Tail, giving them his uncaring and cold gaze. It was then both he and Orochimaru just vanished.

"See you soon, Fairy Tail," Orochimaru said as he vanished.

The Fairy Teams stood there stunned by what happened.

Erza fell to her knees "I failed to save him again," she cried. Everyone else also looked down in sadness.

It was then Laxus walked up and placed a hand on her shoulder, and Erza looked up at him with tears in her eyes.

"Don't cry, the bond between him and Fairy Tail won't be broken by this," Laxus told her.

"Laxus," Erza said.

"The bond between the Fairy Tail family is too strong to be broken, you know that better than anyone," Laxus continued.

"Yeah," Erza wiped her tears.

"We will bring him back, and we will do it as a family," Laxus told her.

Erza stood up and wiped her tears "Yeah,"

"Well, and I guess with contestant Natsu leaving the battle, Hydra Fang is eliminated. Leaving only both Fairy Tail teams remaining. Which means,"

"THE WINNER OF THE GRAND MAGIC GAMES IS FAIRY TAIL!"

Cheers from the crowd were heard all across the city.

"Wow, they did it," Jet said, amazed.

"Yes, but the victory still feels bittersweet," Max looked.

Makarov nodded "Yes indeed, Natsu"

Mavis watched as the Fairy Tail teams collected themselves and dealt with their emotions. "This is only the beginning the real fight has only just begun,"

Back on Crocus, Lucy slowly began to regain consciousness.

"Lucy-san, you're okay," Wendy smiled.

Yeah," Lucy nodded rubbing her head "What happened,"

"We won the Games but," Gray looked down "Natsu got away,

Lucy was shocked by this and looked down "I see, Natsu,"

It was then suddenly Lucy's eyes went wide and blank, flashes went through her mind and she heard a voice ring through her head.

"Close the Gate"
