Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 55 of God of Lies and Mischief and the Woman of Many Faces and the very first chapter and only Chapter of Ant-Man. Hopefully that's alright just due to the fact that I didn't want to lag out trying to type it. Everleigh is only going to be in a small part of this which is a good thing. Thank you to those who have kept up with this story and have left reviews. It really does mean a lot to me. I have more to come with future chapters of this story and we're getting very close with the first Chapter of Captain America Civil War. I can't wait to show you which side Everleigh will be on. Without further ado Chapter 55. ENJOY!

Chapter 55

Everleigh walked up the pathway to the home of Dr. Pym. Her heels clicked on the ground as she walked her hands clutching at her sides as she walked. She walked up the few stairs that led to the front door. She brought her hand up to the door and knocked on the door. She let out a breath as she waited hoping that it wouldn't take too long for Dr. Pym to answer the door.

The door slowly slid open revealing Dr. Pym. His brows furrowed slightly in concern as he looked at the young woman. "Yes?"

"Dr. Hank Pym." She said firmly looking at him.

"Yes, who are you?" Dr. Pym questioned looking at the young woman. He didn't know why she was there, but he could only hope that this wasn't someone that was part of the Avengers or had anything to do with Shield.

"Agent Everleigh Vincin of Shield."

Dr. Pym went to shut the door and she jammed her foot between the door and the frame.

"Now, Dr. Pym that wasn't very cordial of you." She said, pushing the door open. "I'm only here to talk about something that came across our radar."

"I have nothing to say to you." He said moving back trying to walk away from her.

"I'm not here to do anything wrong to you, Dr. Pym. I'm just here to talk calmly about what you are doing and what you took from the Avengers facility?"

"How did you…"

"I'm not that stupid Dr. Pym. I know that you had a colleague of yours come to the Avengers Facility and take something. Don't get me wrong, Tony is rather upset with it, but honestly I don't see what the problem is."

Dr. Pym looked at the young woman.

"You did it for a reason, correct? Something went horribly wrong?"

Dr. Pym nodded his head slowly. "Is that why you came here?"

Everleigh nodded her head. "Yes, I'm certain that you won't let this get on our radar again." She pointed out as she looked at the older man. "I've read files about you and what you've done in the past and your a hero."

Dr. Pym waved his hand.

"But I understand why you walked away from Shield."

"You saw it on record."

"I did." She said, nodding her head. "But Shield has changed for the better now." She admitted softly shifting a bit. "I don't want to bring you, your daughter Hope, and the new Ant Man Scott in front of the team or worse force everyone to be part of the team. Even though we are on the same team. I won't tell Tony of why you took the technology, frankly I don't think he really cares at the moment since he's in pursuit of his own happiness."

"And what of you? You're just going to brush this under the rug?"

Everleigh shrugged her shoulders. "I am going to brush it under the rug. I just don't want to see the Ant Man suit on the radar again. I won't be able to stop Shield from coming after you and the suit."

Dr. Pym nodded his head slowly.

She turned on her heels slowly. "I'll make a report to my superiors and hopefully it'll hold them off for a bit." She said as she headed down to her car.

"Thank you Agent."

Everleigh waved her hand. "It's always nice to keep things safe and sound." She said as she went to her car before getting into it. She let out a soft breath, rubbing it softly. She hoped that Hank would keep true to his word on trying to keep the ant man suit underwraps.
