The kingdom erupted in celebration, all the guilds and royal family celebrating in the main hall of the castle. The crisis has ended, the dragons have vanished and Orochimaru is dead, and the king wanted to throw a huge celebration for all the guilds that helped stop them. Members of different guilds were all socializing during the party.

Sting was having a drink and talking with Yukino of Mermaid Heel were conversing both blushing as they did.

"Thank you for saving me out there, Sting-san," Yukino smiled.

Sting shrugged with a blush on his face "Yeah it was no problem,"

Rogue could only smirk as he watched his best friend and partner at his possible potential girlfriend, and Lector and Frosch were cheering for him in the background.

Meanwhile, with Fairy Tail, various members of the guild were celebrating with each other. Alzack and Bisca were having meals with Asuka, Macao and Wakaba were as usually trying to pick up women and failing, Elfman was going off of how a man he is to Evergreen's and Lisanna's annoyance, women were flocking to Laxus much to Freed's annoyance, and Cana drunk as usual.

The only one who was not in the festive mood was Erza who was in the back watching everyone celebrate, she watched with a smile as the guild got into their antics.

Erza just stared at her glass of wine and thought of the pink-haired dragon slayer. "Natsu," she thought about what he was doing after he and Hydra Fang vanished after the attack.

"Don't worry Erza," Gray walked up to her.

"Gray," Erza said, surprised as she last saw him trying to avoid Juvia.

"We'll find Natsu," he told her.

"Yeah," Lucy smiled.

"Aye," Happy jumped.

"We'll do it together," Wendy smiled.

"We are a team," Carla said.

"You guys," Erza smiled at their words, all of them determined to get Natsu back. "Right,"

"Natsu, I promise we will get you back,"

2 Months Later Desert

A young beautiful woman in a red sari with brown hair was weakly walking through the hot desert area alongside a walking yellow bird. Both she and the bird were dehydrated and exhausted,

"Eclair," the bird said weakly "We need to reset,"

Eclair ignored the bird, but she then collapsed onto the sand.

"Eclair," the bird said weakly but he fainted too.

Eclair was breathing heavily, completely dehydrated, her vision getting blurred, but before she can lose consciousness she saw a hooded figure looking down on her.

Hours later

Eclair slowly began to regain consciousness, once she opened them she saw she was in a bed in a hotel room, she turned and saw her bird companion sleeping next to her.

"Where am I," Eclair shook her head.

"A hotel in Hage," a male voice said.

Eclair turned and was shocked to see a hooded man sitting in a chair near a door.

"Who are you," Eclair asked.

"It doesn't matter," the man answered, "I found you and your bird alone in the desert, you were completely dehydrated so I brought you here,"

"Thank you," Eclair bowed as she drank the glass of water that was on the nightstand.

The man scoffed "What were you doing out there,"

Eclair looked down "I don't know, I just feel lost, I don't know where to go,"

"Does it involve this stone," The man showed the small broken stone to her "It was on you,"

Eclair is shocked that he has taken it "yes, it's mine. It's very precious to me,"

"Half of it is missing, where is the other half," the man asked.

Eclair shook her head "I don't know, and I don't remember how I got this,"

"It has a phoenix on it, maybe that has something to do with it," the man told her.

"A phoenix, the bird of rebirth," Eclair said. "It symbolizes life after death, something new will be born from burnt ashes,"

"Hmm," the man scoffed. "If you need help then head to Magnolia, it's not far from here. There's a guild that will help you," he then started to leave.

"A guild in Magnolia, I see, thank you," Eclair said to him.

The man ignored her and just continued to leave, under the man's hood Eclair saw a strand of pink hair.

Eclair then looked towards the map the man gave her "Magnolia huh,"

"Oi Natsu what took ya so long," Sora signed leaning lazily against a tree,

"Sorry, but I had to make arrangements for that girl," Natsu answered.

Sora smirked "Seriously, you try to come off as a silent badass and you're still a big softie for some people,"

"Hmm," Natsu scoffed "Come on the others are waiting,"

"Yeah, yeah," Sora shrugged.

As Natsu and Sora walked away from the village, Natsu turned his head back and saw Eclair leaving.

"Hmm, bird of rebirth huh,"

Elsewhere in the far port town, Erza and her team were currently on a job looking for a criminal named Geese, though with little success as per usual they were destroying a town.

Erza stood before a group of Geese's thugs "Now which one of you know where Geese is,"

"Why should we tell you, lady,"

"Fine," Erza then requiped into her Heaven's Wheel "If that's how it,": she charged through the hoard of thugs knocking them all in the air. "Now where is Geese," she turned back to them.

"Yeah, pretty sure they can't answer you," Kurama signed.

Erza blushed "Oh I see," as she saw all the thugs she attacked were all knocked out "My mistake,"

Kurama just signed "why are all my Jinchurki always so reckless and stupid,"

In another part of the city, a group of thugs is chasing Wendy, Carla, and Happy.

"Wow, there are so many. I wonder which one is Geese," Happy said.

"Be quiet Tom Cat, we need to get out of here," Carla shouted.

"Oh no," Wendy stopped and saw a group of thugs appear in front of her.

"We're surrounded," Happy cried. "What do we do,"

Wendy's eyes narrowed "Don't worry I got this," she then jumped in the air gathering wind in both her arms.

SKY DRAGON WING ATTACK

Wendy attacked the hoard of thugs destroying the roofs of buildings as she did.

"Yeah you got them Wendy," Happy cheered.

"Thank you," Wendy blushed.

Carla signed "Well I wish you held back a little," seeing the destroyed roofs.

"Oops," Wendy said embarrassed.

In the northern part of the city things were going the same way for Gray.

"So which one of you fools is Geese," Gray smirked.

"How about you put some clothes on,"

ICE MAKE LANCE

Gray then fired a barrage of ice spears at the goons.

"Damn it this bastard,"

The thugs then started to charge at Gray, but the ice mage signed.

ICE MAKE FLOOR

All the thugs slipped on the ice all sliding down ramming into each other and sliding away from Gray.

"So where's Geese," Gray asked but his sweat dropped seeing all of them sliding away. "Oh,"

Lucy, like the others, was also going a bit overboard with the hunt for Geese.

"Come on Taurus," Lucy cried seeing the spirit destroy some buildings along with the thugs.

"Sorry Lucy," Taurus said.

"Return," Lucy signed. "GO LOKE"

Loke appeared in a bright light "You got it babe," he started charging towards the thugs.

REGULUS GATLING IMPACT

Loke much to Lucy's disappointment destroyed most of the town.

"Oh come on," Lucy cried "We won't get the reward this way,"

"Hey relax babe," Loke smirked.

Back with Erza, she was running on rooftops chasing after fleeing thugs, her eyes then narrowed with man with a tattoo on his back "there you are,"

Erza then jumped down and wiped a group of thugs, and she then pointed her sword at Geese "Stop right there Geese. You're coming with me,"

Geese smirked and flatted himself "Says who," he then slipped through a narrow crack between buildings.

"Hey," Erza shouted.

Once Geese slipped through to the other side, he cockily smirked "Easy"

"Says who," Erza instantly appeared behind him and knocked him out with a chop, and she then picked him up by the collar "Okay guys I got him," she called her team.

Later

Erza and her team were being reprimanded by the mayor of the city they ended up nearly destroying.

"I can't believe this," the mayor yelled.

"What's the big deal, we caught the guy," Gray said.

"Yes but you four ended up destroying the town in the process," the mayor shouted. "Forget the reward you all get nothing," he slammed the door to his office.

"Aw man," Lucy fell to her knees "After all that no reward,"

"We did go a bit overboard," Wendy signed.

Erza signed "Alright let's head home,"

"Aye sir," Happy jumped and they all followed Erza.

In the city of Crocus, the magic council has called a meeting with all the current guild masters in Fiore which of course included Makarov.

"There is been an abnormal amount of magic detected in the mountains north of Fiore, this cause the need for investigation," a member said "but we've also received reports that this power destroyed two whole mountains"

"And we believe this is only a fraction of its full power, which means this power might even rival that of Zeref," Orge said.

"Hmm," Makarov scowled "power that rivals Zeref,"

The council continued to debate what they should do about this situation, one half saying they should act, the other half saying they should wait.

Gran Doma the new head of the council they stood "You all bring up good points, but I believe we should consult the guild masters all well and get their ideas and opinions,"

Later Makarov was outside the council building speaking to two figures one tall and one short one.

"The big shots are certainly long-winded," Makarov smoked "That's why I need you two to handled this,"

The man smirked "gehe, got it,"

Erza and her team returned to Magnolia, they walked through the town hearing the locals chatter with each other.

"We're finally back," Gray stretched.

"It's good to be back in Magnolia," Happy ate his fish.

"Hey sorry guys, but I'm gonna head home and shower before I go back to the guild, see ya in a bit," Lucy ran off.

"Well she's clearly hiding behind her smile," Carla signed.

"Lucy-san," Wendy said worriedly.

"Hey don't worry," Erza told them "She always bounces back," the others nodded in agreement, but Erza watched Lucy's fleeing figure "Though I guess that's not what bothering her,"

The team then returned to the guild hall and to no surprise the guild erupted in celebration.

"Hey we're back everyone," Gray said.

"Hey guys," Mira smiled.

"How'd the job going," Wakaba smoked.

"Well we completed it but no reward," Happy answered, getting laughs from everyone.

"Gray-sama welcome home," Juvia cooed.

"Yo Juvia," Gray smirked.

"Oh Gray-sama, the guild without you was like a sea without water," Juvia cooed. "And I see no signs of a love rival here," she muttered the last bit.

"Hey what are you muttering," Gray asked "you know if you do that you get more wrinkles,"

Juvia just froze in shock "Wrinkles, old age,"

Erza sat at the bar and spoke to Mira "Where's Master,"

"He was called for a council meeting," Mira answered.

"I see, and what about.." Erza was interrupted.

Mira shook her head in disappointment "no, none of our sources have found any trace of him after the Games, its like he just vanished or he's just good at covering his tracks,"

Erza signed "I see. Where are you, Natsu,"

Lucy was walking towards her apartment thinking to herself.

"Hey Natsu look I'm a Fairy Tail Wizard now,"

"You're Lucy of Fairy Tail. This is where you belong now"

"Natsu," Lucy looked down depressed "Why,"

"Fairy Tail means nothing to me now,"

As Lucy was walking she passed by Eclair and Monmon, as Lucy passed them Eclair suddenly collapsed.

"Eclair," Monmon cried, causing Lucy to turn and see the unconscious girl.

"Hey are you okay," Lucy ran to Eclair.

It was then in the country of Veronica, in the royal palace a young pompous spoiled blond royal spoke to a group of five mages.

"So you see, once I bring the two Phoenix Stones together then a grand miracle will happen, that's why I want your Carbuncle guild to go retrieve supposedly it's in the hands of a girl in Fiore," the spoiled royal said. "You do that then I will pay all of handsomely,"

"We will complete this task for you Duke Cream," the leader bowed.

The group then proceeded to their local bar and discussed the job they were given.

"So we just have to get a rock from some girl easy enough," the woman drank. "Too easy,"

"It's hilarious," the large one laughed.

"Chase, Ryuji" the blue haired man said "Go," the masked man, and a hooded man with a large blade nodded, then left.

The man smirked "the phoenix stone huh. In the name of Carbuncle the beast that dwells in the night we will complete this job" he and the other two then toast to their drinks.

Unknown to this group, two hooded figures heard their conversation, they took a sip from their drinks and then left.

It was now late at night in Magnolia, and Lucy brought the two she encountered in town to the guildhall for food. Eclair ate her food silently and Monmon happily ate his bread.

"Hey who is that," Gray asked.

"I don't know, but she needed help," Lucy told him.

"What's that bird thing with her," Elfman asked as Mira gave Eclair a drink.

"Her pet," Lisanna wondered.

"It looks tasty," Droy drooled.

"Shut up," Jet elbowed him.

"Here you are." Mira handed her a drink.

"Thank you," Eclair took the mug.

Erza just watched the girl with a perplexed look, something was off about her.

Lucy then sat in front of Eclair and gave her a smile "Hi my name is Lucy what's your name,"

"My name is Eclair," Eclair introduced.

"I'm Monmon," Monmon smiled.

"See, you were just hungry," Lucy smiled "I'm sure you'll be fine now,"

"No, I would've been fine with or without food," Eclair said coldly.

"Eclair don't say that," Monmon told her.

"So what brings you to Magnolia," Erza asked.

"I was told a guild here can help me with something," Eclair answered.

"Someone told you to come to Fairy Tail," Happy said with surprise.

Eclair and took out her stone "He said this guild might help discover what this is,"

"A stone," Gray raised an eyebrow.

Eclair nodded "I've always had this with me and I still don't know its purpose,"

"Well I never seen something like this before," Gray answered as he took a look at it "looks like a plane old rock to me,"

Eclair signed "I see, then I will go," she then stood.

"Hey wait," Lucy called out.

As Eclair was about to leave, Carla then went pale and had a vision of a forest, ruins, and monsters.

"Just wait a minute," Carla shouted making Eclair stop "If you're going to a forest area then its best you take someone with you, going there alone is dangerous,"

"Forest?" Eclair was puzzled by the cat's words and it was then something clicked in her "The Boundary Forest that's where I need to go," Eclair then left the guild hall with Lucy and Happy chasing after her.

"Hey where do you think you're going" Lucy questioned.

'The Boundary Forest," Eclair answered "That's where I will find my answers"

"But you heard Carla, it's dangerous," Happy told her.

"We'll go with you to protect you," Lucy offered. "We are wizards after all,"

"No," Eclair refused "I honestly don't like magic, magic is something that brings sorrow,"

"Eclair," Monomon said.

"Magic brings sorrow?" Lucy was confused by this. "That's not true, I am going with you,"

"Me too," Happy said.

"We'll be coming along as well," Erza, Gray, Wendy and Carla walked in.

"Yeah, got nothing better to do," Gray smirked.

"We'll help you find the answers you're looking for," Wendy smiled.

"Hmm, guess I have no choice," Carla signed.

"Erza, are you sure about this," Kurama asked.

Erza nodded "Yeah, why do you ask,"

"It's just that something about this girl feels off,"

"What do you mean," Erza asked.

"I don't know I just feel there's something bigger behind this,"
