"We cannot allow Megatron to send Dark Energon through his space bridge. If we fail, the dead of Cybertron will rise… Swarm through its vortex… And invade Earth, bending Humankind to Megatron's twisted will," Optimus said thinking about what would happen if they failed, "We need to find where their space bridge is located at, Ratchet can you pinpoint the exact location of the space bridge."
A few moments later Ratchet located the space bridge was above the Earth's atmosphere, "Optimus, I've pin-pointed the location of Megatron's space bridge, high in Earth's orbit."
"Out of our reach," Optimus said.
"There must be a way for us to get up there," Chromette said.
"Okay so you guys don't fly," Miko said "But couldn't you just Ground-Bridge there?"
"The ground-bridge has limited range," Ratchet explained, "Stretched all the way into Orbit, it's orbit could snap and scatter us to the stars."
"Since Megatron is likely already in transit, I'm afraid we must take that risk," Optimus said. "Reaching the space bridge first is our only means of stopping him."
Suddenly Jack and Arcee came in. "Autobots, prepare for departure," Optimus said.
"Where to?" Arcee asked.
"The final Frontier," Miko said.
"Space?" Jack asked, "I thought they didn't have any way to get there."
Bumblebee grabbed Raf from his shoulder and put him on the floor. "They don't," Raf confirmed "really."
"Be seeing you," Jack told Arcee.
Ratchet then activates the Ground Bridge, Raf looked at his guardian, "Be careful, bee," he said and Bumblebee buzzed a reply.
"I'm so jealous!" Miko told her guardian.
"Don't even think about following me," Bulkhead told her.
Ratchet turned to Optimus, "Optimus, if you leave me on a planet stranded teeming with humans, I will never forgive you," he told him.
"Until we meet again, old friend," Optimus told him before activating his battle mask, "Autobots, roll out." After he said that, every single Autobot, excluding Ratchet, transformed into their alternate mode and drove through the portal. "Maximum Overdrive," he said as they neared the Ground Bridge's destination.
Above the Earth's atmosphere, the Ground Bridge opened, the Autobots drove through the vacuum, "Autobots, transform and Gravitize," Optimus said as they approached the Space bridge.
The Autobots transformed and locked their feet onto the space bridge. Bulkhead had trouble balancing himself as he locked his feet onto the space bridge, "Don't look down," he said "or up. Or left."
They suddenly heard the Nemesis approach the space bridge and them, "So Megatron's packing enough Dark Energon to raise Cybertron's dead?" Arcee asked Optimus.
"And since we don't possess ready means of disabling the space bridge…" Optimus said, activating his blasters, "Nothing gets in or out." The other Autobots did the same.
On the Nemesis, Megatron looked at a monitor which showed the Autobots on the space bridge, he chucked, "Optimus Prime never disappoints," he said "Unlike you, Starscream."
Starscream breathes heavily, "No need for concern, Master. Soundwave is locking on to cybertron's coordinates… per my instructions."
Back on the space bridge, the Autobots noticed that the Decepticons weren't doing anything, "Well, what are they waiting for?" Arcee said.
Optimus then zoomed onto the ship with one of his optics and noticed that one of the Nemesis's machines have been damaged, "It appears the Decepticons have sustained serious damage to their interstellar navigational system.
"Ah, that's my handiwork," Bulkhead said.
"Great job, Bulkhead," Optimus said, complimenting him. "Without the dish, Megatron will be unable to aim the space bridge at cybertron."
"Yeah, great job, Bulkhead," Chromette said.
At the Autobot base, Ratchet and the humans heard the conversation through the supercomputer, "Don't the Decepticons know where their own planet is?" Raf asked.
"Naturally," Ratchet said, "But cybertron is many light years away. To reach their target their aim must be astronomically precise."
"If Megatron went to the trouble to rendezvousing with his space bridge, he must have a alternate targeting system, a remote one," Optimus said from the supercomputer.
Ratchet scoffs at this, "From what I know of Earth's technology, I doubt there exists a single radio-telescope dish on this planet powerful enough to pinpoint Cybertron."
"What about a whole bunch of linked radio-telescope dishes," Raf asked, typing on the supercomputer before turning around, "Like the giant-size array in Texas?"
Ratchet was in disbelief of what Raf said and turned to him, "Zip buh buh buh buh! This is not child's play."
"Good thinking, Raf," Optimus suddenly said from the supercomputer. "Ratchet, Have Agent Fowler alert the array staff to the security hazard."
They turned around and saw Fowler sit up a bit still dazed from his encounter with Starscream, "You, soldier!" He said pointing at Ratchet, "You're out of uniform! Put on some pants." He said before falling back asleep.
"That may be a challenge," Ratchet told the Prime.
Raf types on the computer again, "I can't get past the array's firewalls. They're too thick."
"You actually think you could keep the Decepticons out?" Ratchet asked him.
"Maybe," Raf replied, "If I could get in."
Jack Realized what he meant and walked towards him "Uh, wait, wait, wait. Raf what if we could get you all the way in, like inside-the-building in?"
"I could walk into their internal network on the other side of the firewall," Raf answered.
"The risk is too great," Optimus said from the supercomputer. "The Decepticons will be there, perhaps even on site."
"Optimus, with all due respect, you said it yourself. This is bigger than the safety of three humans," Jack said.
"Yeah," Miko said, "If we let the 'Cons win, we are fragged along with everyone else on our planet."
"Optimus, the humans are correct," Chromette said on the supercomputer,"We autobots are sworn to protect all life, no matter how different they are."
"Hmm, you make a good point, Chromette," Optimus said, "Raf?"
"I want to give it a shot," Raf answered.
Meanwhile on the Nemesis, Starscream notices how the Autobots were positioned and realized that they were up to something. "Surely, Lord Megatron, the Autobots are up to something."
Megatron turned around and approached his second-in-command, "Really, Starscream?" He asked him sarcastically, at his face which. He then turned around and slammed his fist on a control, an alarm then blares, "Crush them!"
The autobots on the space bridge notices the jet Vehicons heading towards them, "Here comes the welcoming committee," Bulkhead said as they began to get into battle formation.
Meanwhile someone in Texas, a Ground-Bridge portal opens up and Jack, Raf and Miko appear from it feeling Nausea. Jack grabbed his forehead, "that'll take some getting used to," he said as they all groaned and noticed the large linked radio-telescopes nearby, they then ran towards the building carefully.
Meanwhile back at the space bridge, the Vehicons started shooting at the Autobots and transformed, and the Autobots started blasting as they approached them. Vehicons then landed on the space bridge at multiple areas, next to Optimus one of them landed and he slammed him down and threw him towards another Vehicon that was in the air.
One of the Vehicons approached Bulkhead and switched from his blasters to his mace and pounded the Vehicon on the head.
Arcee and Chromette blasted Vehicons that we're approaching them, more Vehicons were approaching them and kicked them and activated their melee weapons, two integrated blades that deployed from their arms and began to attack Vehicons with the blades.
Meanwhile inside the giant size array building, Miko opened a door to see if anyone was nearby the outside the room they were in and saw nobody there and quickly closed it. She approached Jack and Miko, "Security is Lax in this place."
Raf then got inside the system of the building on the computer he was typing at, "I'm in," he told them, "And so are the Decepticons."
"What?" Jack asked.
"How do you know?" Miko asked at the same time.
"Schematics with the same alien math we saw on their ship with Chromette. But this time I can download them," he explained and took out a flash drive, he plugged it into the computer to download the Data of the Cybertronian equation.
"It's got to be the space bridge," Miko said.
"The Decepticons are syncing it to the dishes, but I can sync to them," he explained.
"Will they know?" Jack asked.
"Even if the Decepticons see that I'm in the system, they'll have no idea I'm in the house," he explained but unbeknownst to them Soundwave was nearby feeding the coordinates into one of the radio dishes.
The Radio dishes suddenly looked towards space to the location of Cybertron.
Back on the space bridge the Autobots were still fighting the Vehicons when suddenly they felt a rumble as the bridge started to lock onto Cybertron.
"What just happened?" Arcee asked
"Sis, I think the space bridge is activating," Chromette guessed.
"The Decepticons are locking on to Cybertron," Optimus explained.
On the Nemesis, Starscream noticed that the space bridge was locked onto Cybertron, "Lord Megatron the space Bridge is ready for activation."
"Finally!" Megatron said.
Meanwhile back in the inside the giant size array building, Raf noticed that the Decepticons were locked onto Cybertron, "They're locked onto Cybertron but not for long," he said and began typing, causing the radio dishes to look forward instead of upwards.
Meanwhile back at the space bridge, the bridge lost the connection to cybertron, Bumblebee buzzed as he made a gesture with his arms upwards. "Indeed, Bumblebee," Optimus said as he punched a Vehicon. "This can only be Raf's doing."
Meanwhile on the Nemesis, they saw what happened, "Starscream, what is happening?" Megatron asked his second-in-command.
Starscream stammered as he didn't know what was happening and contacted Soundwave, "Soundwave what is happening?"
Meanwhile with Soundwave, he scanned the rooms, through the cameras and noticed Jack, Raf and Miko at a computer tampering with their work.
"The dishes are heading back towards cybertron," Raf told Jack and Miko, "I'll just undo that again." He began typing on the computer again.
Meanwhile Soundwave deploys a tentacle from the supercomputer, heading towards the room where Jack Raf and Miko were.
"What happens when the 'Cons realize they're being punked?" Jack asked Raf.
"It's only virtual combat," Raf said, "You know like online gaming."
"Yeah, Jack," Miko said, "what are the 'Cons gonna do? They're probably, like, 1,000 miles away." Unbeknownst to them the door opened and Soundwave's tentacle approached them from behind.
Jack hears Soundwave's tentacle making clicking sound and notices it, he screams as he sees it, he grabs it and the tentacle throws them around.
"I won't let them lock on again," Raf said and the tentacle throws Jack at a wall, and then throws Miko at the same wall as he gets up, the tentacle approaches Raf, he notices it and stood up as he took his flash drive out of the computer and as he dodges the tentacle's attack, it broke the computer he was at.
Miko then grabs an axe from the wall and tries to cut the tentacle with it but she swing it too early and gets thrown back at the wall and the tentacle picks up the axe, "You handed it an axe?!" Jack exclaimed at her.
"Not good," Raf said, then the tentacle threatened to kill them with the axe and flew back to the room where Soundwave was and sliced the hard wire of the supercomputer as the dish locked back onto Cybertron.
Jack,Raf and Miko chased the tentacle and saw Soundwave standing above the ceiling, Miko then takes her phone out and takes a picture of him, Soundwave then transformed into a UAV drone called a Predator B drone, "Why's he leaving?" Miko asked.
Raf noticed the Axe wedged in the hard wire, "He cut the hard wire. The dishes are locked onto cybertron…" he explained, "for good."
On the Nemesis, the Decepticons noticed that the space bridge was locked onto Cybertron, "Now, Starscream?" Megatron asked.
"Now," Starscream said and pressed a button on a machine in front of him and the space bridge began to activate.
As the Autobots fought the Vehicons, they saw the space bridge activate as blue light appeared within the structure and Megatron appeared on top of the Nemesis carrying a large crystal of Dark Energon. "At Last!" He said before throwing the Dark Energon at the portal.
Optimus defeated a Vehicon he was fighting, when he notices the Dark Energon being thrown towards the portal and tries to shoot it but it ultimately falls through the portal. He deactivated his weapon, everyone else did the same.
Meanwhile somewhere on Cybertron, the Dark Energon fell through the atmosphere and crash landed onto the planet.
Megatron on the Nemesis, staring at the portal "Arise my legions!" He said and suddenly the dead of Cybertron began to rise from the dead
The Autobots stared at the portal in horror, "So how do we beat a whole planet of the undead?" Bulkhead asked.
"Bulkhead's right," Chromette said, "We need to find a way of stopping the terrorcons from coming through."
Back at the Autobot base Ratchet and the humans were looking at the supercomputer which had purple colored dots appearing around the space bridge diagram as Fowler finally woke up, "Optimus, I'm registering a rapidly expanding mass in their space bridge vortex, one with a peculiar energy signature," Ratchet said.
"Dark Energon," Optimus said "We must destroy the space bridge, there's enough live energon coursing through it to achieve detonation, but we lack the firepower to ignite it."
"If I knew how the space bridge was engineered, I might find a technical way of accomplishing that feat," Ratchet said.
"Um, would schematics help?" Raf asked, showing Ratchet his flash drive.
"Optimus, I must say the space bridge is our sole hope of ever returning to Cybertron. Are you certain it's destruction is the only option?" Ratchet asked the Prime.
"I'm afraid so," Optimus answered.
"Then by all means, let us light our darkest hour," Ratchet said.
"Autobots, take your positions and follow Ratchet's lead…" Optimus told the Autobots who then ran to do what Ratchet was going to tell them to do, "While I make my stand," he added as he saw Megatron who flew towards him and transformed from a few yards away.
"Your fellow Autobots are wise, Optimus. They know when to retreat," he told the Prime.
"I hold no illusions about engaging your Army, Megatron," Optimus told the Warlord, "But I might derail its objective by removing its head." He deployed his blade.
Megatron laughs, "Highly likely, Optimus, as I am infused with their very might!"
"One shall stand. One shall fall."
Megatron deployed his very own blade from the wrist of the arm where his Fusion Cannon was and rushed at the Prime, who evaded the attack and they swung at each other a few times missing the first few times and soon both blades collided with each other. Optimus then soon hit Megatron's arm with his blade, causing the warlord to stumble backwards, using his blade to stop.
Optimus rushes towards him and swung his blade at him as Megatron, swung his away and continued to battle, while millions of Terrorcons were swarming through the portal, but not near the exit of the portal.
"These things are getting closer," Fowler said, looking at the diagram on the monitor of the supercomputer, "That's bad, right?"
"Ratchet, we're in position," Arcee said.
"Arcee, you, pay close attention," Ratchet said as he began to explain how to detonate the Space Bridge.
Megatron punches Optimus in the face and then strikes his sword against Optimus's stomach region and walks back a little and then suddenly Megatron strikes against his blade, causing it to break in half and it flew backwards and Then he punched him, causing him to go in mid air and then Megatron grabbed his leg and pounded him toward the floor and then threw him across the space bridge, sparks started to fizzle as Megatron approaches him, but just as he was about to give him a finishing blow Starscream contacts him, "Master?"
"Starscream, what is it?"
On the Nemesis Starscream walked towards a cybertronian computer, "I do not wish to question your all-seeing wisdom, but I believe the autobots are up to something again, beneath your bridge this time," he said as he sees Arcee, Chromette, Bumblebee and Bulkhead on the monitor.
"Ah, misdirection, Optimus," Megatron told the Prime, "You would have made a fine Decepticon." Megatron slashes his blade at the Prime, when The remnants of Optimus's blade strikes against Megatron's blade.
"I chose my side," Optimus stated before switching his weapon from his blade to his blaster and shot Megatron where his Insignia was, causing Megatron to fly backwards and he kept shooting at him, missing this time.
Megatron transforms into his cybertronian Jet mode flying towards the portal, "Starscream, my army approaches. Rendezvous with the space bridge for pickup."
Meanwhile with the rest of the autobots, they were following Ratchet's lead, with Chromette, Bumblebee and Bulkhead guarding Arcee, "Now follow the line from the flow regulator to the energon pump," he said and they saw a device that looked like an unearthly regulator, "there should be a valve."
"I see it," Arcee said as she presses a button on a panel nearby and the valve opens upward.
"Good," Ratchet said," Now turn all that power against itself, all you need do is reverse the current." Arcee began to pull the current clockwise and it began to crackle with electricity.
Back at the base everyone was waiting for news that Arcee reverses the current. "Current reversed," they suddenly heard Arcee say.
"Yes!" Fowler said with joy before turning to Raf "Right?"
"I'll ready the Ground Bridge," Ratchet said.
Meanwhile back in space, Megatron was flying when Arcee, Chromette, Bumblebee and Bulkhead suddenly starting shooting at him, when he flew towards them and started shooting at them with his fusion cannon, which missed Bumblebee, Bulkhead and Chromette and hit Arcee, who went floating towards space.
The Space bridge suddenly became unstable and the ground began to break apart as Optimus ran from the energy, while Megatron flew towards the portal, he then turned around to notice that the Nemesis wasn't where he ordered Starscream to pilot it towards. "Starscream, where is my ship?"
Meanwhile on the Nemesis Starscream notices the instability of the Space bridge on the computer, "We would never make it, Lord Megatron. Don't be a fool! Take flight and retreat!" he begged the Warlord.
Optimus was still running in his robot form, "Optimus, the Ground Bridge is Ready and waiting," Ratchet said, contacting him.
"Autobots, Jump," the prime said before jumping into the Ground Bridge portal, underneath the space bridge, Chromette jumped through as well, followed by Bulkhead and then finally Bumblebee grabbed the floating Arcee before heading towards the Ground Bridge which soon vanished after all autobots entered the portal.
"My Legion," Megatron said as he stood in front of the portal with the terrorcons approaching the exit when suddenly the space bridge began to blow up around him, "No!" He cried as he approached one of the terrorcons and touched their fingers as the space bridge blew up.
After the space bridge blew up the Decepticons were flying the Nemesis back to Earth as Starscream made an announcement to the Vehicons, "Decepticons, it is with deep sorrow that I note for the log Megatron's spark has been extinguished. All hail, Starscream."
Back at base, the humans and Ratchet were waiting for the team to come through the space brought, "Do you think they're…" Raf started.
"Five life signals, one very faint," Ratchet said as he checked his life scanner on his arm and saw that all the Autobot life signals were online, but one of them was very faint.
Optimus then came through first, followed by Chromette, then Bulkhead came through and Milo ran over to him with joy "Bulkhead!"
Then Bumblebee came through holding Arcee and Jack approaches her, Chromette saw this as well and walked over, who was started to feel devastated as it was her twin Sister. "Sis, please, don't go offline," she said as she was about to cry.
"We lost one this week," Ratchet said, recalling the death of Cliffjumper, "By the Allspark, don't let it be two."
Jack places his hand into Arcee's hand when she suddenly opened her eyes telling them that she was still online. "Arcee," he said.
"Jack really," she said, seeing how he is reacting, thing that she just went offline, "there are other motorcycles in the world like my sister."
"I know," he said, "but you're my first."
"And Megatron?" Ratchet asked the Prima.
"Not even he could have survived ground zero," he replied.
"Prime!" The suddenly heard Fowler sat and saw him going into the elevator, "I didn't get to thank you 'bots for the save. I owe you one." He walked into the elevator, "We all do." The elevator closes as Fowler leaves.
Bumblebee puts Arcee down and Miko approaches Optimus, "So, is this the part where you say goodbye and tell us we forget we ever saw you?" Miko asked the prime.
"Without a means of leaving this world, we autobots Take Strength in the bonds we have forged with our three young friends, true warriors, If not in body, then in spirit. My name is Optimus Prime, and I send this message. Though we did not choose to be of Earth, it would seem that we are here to stay. If you approach this planet with Hostile intent, know this we will defend ourselves. We will defend humanity. We will defend our home."
