I once had an addiction to Otogi Zoshi: The Legend of Magatama. Lolz it's a nice story, but I rather like the modern-time part better. Hope ya like it!
The story of a girl
Who became a woman
Whose brother brought upon her
The burden of an army
On her shoulders lay
The hope of the capital's future
And the light for peace
On which the magatamas rest
Journeying far and wide
In search of magical stones
Her protector by her side
And a few new friends as well
They travelled for weeks
Across the country
Till at last they came home
To where they recovered the last piece
The fantasy of hope shattered
By a false promise anew
Destruction wrought by the one sought light
Wreacked havoc upon the capital
A man she once trusted
Learning to love on the way
Mastermind of the evil plans
Bringing destruction in its wake
Engulfed with pain and suffering
She played her flute, one last time
Entering the barrier of destruction
Her eternal sacrifice
Saving the land
In the process of sacrificing her life
He joined her as well in fire and death
Rising unto the Heavens above
