Chapter Seven: Good Hunting

The sun was starting to rise as Angron still held Issei in her arms with such strong care. She had used her power to control Issei so that he could rest undisturbed. They were halfway across the grand grasslands. She was almost at the mountains, she did have to go through another purple forest.

Angron looked down in her arms to only have a joyful smile on her face.

"Don't worry, we will be there soon." she whispered happily. Issei could only happily sleep away.

—-

Issei stood on a flower field, beautiful flowers covering these grand majestic hills. With blue poppies and red roses. Many yellow and white tulips. In the flower field of color.

He gazed at his beautiful surroundings with awe. He looked down at his clothes to see he was wearing a white tunic. He looked to the sky to see a cosmic night sky full of bright white stars.

"What is this place." Issei said out loud to himself. His words echoed around him, only to slowly quiet down. Issei had no fear in his heart as he ventured into this strange world.

"You don't know how long I've waited to meet you." A cheerful voice called out to him. Issei looked around trying to see who talked to him. Though all of these recent dreams have been nothing but torture.

"Over here!" The voice called out sounding a bit irritated. This person sounded like an older man, it was distorted a little bit by static.

Issei looked all around to see no one. Issei wondered if this was some kind of weird dream, you only have once.

"Hold stay right there, don't move." The voice said. Issei didn't know what to do so he waited if this was a nightmare at least he knew. Issei didn't happen to hear a click of something metal. Issei wanted to turn around but what would be the point? Then he heard the voice humming and whistling.

"Okay now turn around." The voice exclaimed.

Issei awkwardly turned around, to see a Hispanic man sitting on a metal outdoor chair with a glass table, with a metal frame. While another chair was on the other side of the table.

The man looked to be in his early thirties. He had a shaved head and face. Despite his appearance, his eyes showed much exhaustion, with plenty of crow's feet on his face. He wore a light gray button shirt and Brown khaki pants. His shoes were a bright white and had no dirt on them. He looked at Issei with a big smile.

He opened his arms wide and was surprised.

"Hello Issei, we finally met." The man stood from his chair and still held his arms out welcoming Issei into a hug.

Issei stepped back Unsure whether to trust this man or to fight him. The man could see the worry in his eyes. So he slowly sat back down in street and calmly jester to Issei to take the seat across from him. Issei is still unsure of what to do.

"Who are you." Issei asked because he had never seen this man in his life. He smiled at the question with big interest.

"Well that's kind of a hard question, I kinda went by a lot of titles and names." The man said as he trailed thinking of what to call himself.

"How about, no that one's too long, or how about, wait no that one you wouldn't understand."

"But call me Qui Obscuravit, how does that sound?" Qui said as he made a new name on the spot.

"It sounds like you made it up on the spot dude." Issei said, confused. Qui never lost his smile as he looked like he enjoyed talking to Issei.

"Yay it kind of is, but I'm glad I can finally talk to you, I'll tell you that dragon that was in here, didn't really like me, always said I was unwelcomed here." Qui said like he was here before.

Issei's eyes were wide at what Qui said. Did he say dragon? So that meant he knew where Ddragi went. His hand slowly gripped hard in anger. If something happened to his friend he would be furious.

"Tell me where Ddragi is!" Issei yelled in anger. Qui had a confused look on his face.

"What you are talking about, you removed him from your soul." Qui said, trying to figure out what Issei was on about. "Hell, I was the only thing keeping you alive, after you ejected your evil pieces."

Issei's heart skipped a beat at what he said. He felt like his world shattered, what did he say I forced Ddragi out. I would never do such a thing. Issei's anger boiled at this news. Thinking it was some kind of trick. If Ddragi wasn't here in his body then who was the dragon tormenting him in his dreams?

"You lie I would never hurt a friend, much less push one out!" Issei yelled out in anger, with disbelief clouding his mind. Issei gripped his fist harder making his knuckles turn white. Qui froze from shock and looked at Issei with a concerned look.

"You don't remember do you." Qui said calmly. Issei frustrated by the man's answer slammed his fist on the table, in anger he looked at him maliciously.

"I would never do such a thing!" He shouted back.

Qui only had a sad look on his face, he stood up. Issei, taken back, held his fist out waiting for Qui to make a hostile attack. The man slowly reached out for Issei, only for Issei to back away. Qui's kind eyes only looked at him.

"Issei you didn't don't on purpose, you remember when you tried to make yourself stronger, Ddragi tried to stop you but your mind wasn't in the right place." Qui said.

"YOU LIE!" Issei yelled in anger as his eyes began to water. I thought that losing a friend like this brought sorrow to his heart. Qui could see the pain in Issei and only held more sympathy for Issei. "I WOULD NEVER HURT ANYONE WHO I CARED FOR DO YOU HEAR ME."

Issei looked at his hand with great sustain, shaking any horrible thoughts out of his mind.

"I wouldn't, I wouldn't, I wouldn't." Issei repeats out loud in a hushed whisper. He was snapped out of thought as Qui put his hand on Issei's shoulder. Qui stood strong but gave Issei a kind gaze.

"Issei I'm not your enemy, but there are who wish to do harm and they will do anything to achieve their goals." Qui said.

Issei gathered enough self-control and held himself strong. At this point, Issei had to listen to what this man had to say. Issei watched the ground beneath avoiding eye contact with Qui.

Qui helped Issei to the other seat, while he sat in his chair. Issei sat calmly waiting for the man to say something.

Issei showed Qui an exhausted expression, sick of all this horrible news, while he had nothing to protect he wasn't alone, he still had one thing, a promise to Rogal and the others. By his word, if any god listened, he would do anything to get them off this world and back home.

"Go on man I'm listening, tell me whatever B. S you're gonna say." Issei said sarcastically.

Qui smiled at Issei, seeing him take such horrible news only to stand back up against it. That's what Qui admired, defiant until the end.

"I'm glad you can listen." Qui sighed in Relief. "Okay I don't have that much time, so please let me explain, do you remember the power you used against your girlfriend back there." Qui said.

Issei had a befuddled look on his face thinking of what girlfriend he was referring to.

"Ria-." Issei tried to say

"No, come on, you weren't even dating! the giant one." Qui said cutting Issei off.

"Hey, she showed me plenty of love." Issei angrily said. Qui rolled his eyes at Issei's answer. "There's nothing going on between me and Angron."

"Realy because hugging each other naked, is such a normal thing to do." Que said sarcastically. Qui shook his head, winding how the conversation ended up like this.

"Never mind it doesn't matter, look that power is only going to make you stronger and you're going to need it." Qui said slowly and carefully. Issei never heard such words, wondering what they meant.

"Your gonna have to use to, look I know this's all new and strange, but your the only one who can do it." Qui said, he grab Issei by the shoulders and looking him dead in the eye.

"Listen when you tried to boost yourself up to get stronger, you got rid of all that demonic energy and Ddragi. Though the truth is this, Loki's curse is still affecting you and after your attempt to get stronger you also made the curse stronger."

Issei widen in surprise, he had completely forgotten about it. The curse had affected him to horribly degrees, feeding on his trauma. He hated that damn god Loki. He put him through such crap.

"How strong is it?" He asked

Qui had lost his easygoing smile, only for it to replace by a dreaded expression. He spoke seriously.

"It wants out of you, it wants to kill everything you hold dear." Qui said gravely. "Listen you can beat it, but you gonna need help, your girlfriend out there is keeping it at bay for now, but ill get stronger and your gonna have a whole problem on your hand. You're gonna need that power."

"How am I supposed to even use it?" Issei asked. "Heck, what do I even call it."

"Your gonna have to figure that out, listen I know you have a billion questions, but you have to wake up." Qui said.

"What did you say?" Issei asked. Issei heard that voice before when he was about to torture by that Ddragi clone. A voice called out to him. Qui sound exactly like him.

"Wake up!" Qui yelled out as the whole world shook just by his words.

"Wake up!"

Issei jolted awake, to a grey bright sky. he looked around to see was on soft ground, as pink petals littered the ground. There were many black-barked trees around them, with thousands of pink petals on each separate branch. Issei looked at them with keen interest. The area around him reminded him of home. Though these trees did resemble pink cherry blossom trees, they were much bigger and had giant roots that sprouted from the ground and wrapped around one another.

Issei heard footsteps behind him, he turned around to see Angron happily walking towards Issei, with a dead animal slung over her shoulder. There is something Issei loved about seeing Angron happy. Her smile just looked so natural on her.

"I see you're up, Well let's eat." Angron said, throwing their food on the ground. She skinned with one pull. Issei had to do a double take around him, this world always felt different and every mile of land was always different from the last. Issei looked around himself and wondered.

"Hey, Angron did I say anything in my sleep last night." Issei asked wanting any possible clue for any reason he had a dream last night.

"No nothing at all, in fact, you slept fine last night, with no discomfort or squirming." She answered joyfully. Issei remembers what Qui said.

"Listen your girlfriend out there is keeping it at bay for now." Issei thought but did kinda blush at the girlfriend part. Angron turned her head to the blush on his face.

"Are you aroused right now because all I'm doing is cooking?" She said unsure of the reaction.

"No, it's nothing." Issei said in an awkward panic "I just was wondering if you used your powers on me last night when I was asleep?"

Angron shyly looked away, she hoped he wouldn't notice, but couldn't help it. Angron hated seeing Issei in pain, so she had to use them on Issei. Angron thought Issei was mad at her, so she didn't ask for permission to use her evasive powers.

"I'm sorry Issei I didn't mean to.." Angron tried to say but was interrupted by Issei.

"No it's fine, in fact, thank you." Issei said. " I appreciate what you do, more than you know."

Angron smiled at Issei's gratitude, she loves it when Issei praises her. Gave her a small sense of pride, she thought she lost. She blushed at his words.

"Come now Issei, let's eat." Angron said as she prepared a fire. They cooked their meal again by a newly made bonfire. They both enjoyed their meals. Angron and Issei sat by each other oddly a bit closer than usual.

"What should we call these things?" Issei asked looking at the animal they were eating.

"Food!" Angron said chewing on a large piece of fat. Issei chuckled at Angron's brutish response.

"Oh come on we need a better name than that." Issei said in a lazy tone. "We could be the first, people to ever explore this place."

Angron didn't care about science thinking it was tedious work. Also who would want that attention on themself, all that glory and showboating didn't sit well with her.

"Issei there's no need to name them, who would even care?" Angron said.

"I would care." Issei said. "I just want to give a little more respect to what we kill you know."

When Issei said that, Angron had to think about what Issei said. He's not wrong, maybe a name wouldn't be too bad. Issei giving respect to their food is honorable. Angron spoke calmly, trying to think of a name.

"Okay, how about spike dog," Angon said looking at Issei with a confident gaze. Issei looked at their food with a questioning gaze.

"Not bad, but I think the dog part might confuse people, wait I got it, how about we call them spike hogs," Issei suggested happily.

"Hmm, Spike hog's I like it," Angron said thinking of them having respect and clarity. Issei sat in happy silence.

"Where do you even get this stuff." Issei asked trying to start a conversation.

"Oh these beasts are everywhere, you just got to look near the watering holes and you have found your meal." Angron jests as she smiles at Issei. The two sat in comfortable silence only for Issei to break it.

"Alright, Angron what's the game plan, running from your sister forever, because that doesn't sound to fun me." Issei stated in a flat tone of voice. Angron knew running for so long would lead to their inevitable capture. Though the plan has changed for the better.

"You are right Issei, I shall run no longer." Angron said calmly. Issei sighed in relief, the game of cat and mouse is finally coming to end. He could get back everyone to find a way back home and hopefully cure his curse. He stood up happily, turned Angron, and gave her a big smile.

"Well, it was fun while it lasted." Issei said only for Angron to lay her hand on his shoulder. Angron then picked up Issei by the waist and showed him a direction to the north. Thanks to Angron, he could see over the tree line, only to see a giant black mountain that spread itself into the cloudy sky. The Mountain had giant protruding black spikes all over. They branched more spikes that glowed red. Issei looked closer to see snow on the mountain as the sound of soft thunder echoed softly from the mountain.

Angron set Issei on the ground and looked at him with a happy smile.

"We shall build a fortress on this mighty mountain and fend off my sisters, in an epic battle. Well more me than you, but this is where we find our freedom. This is our new home." Angron said in a determined voice.

Issei looked at the horrifying mountain with wide eyes, he took a relaxed breath and looked at Angron. She looked back at Issei only to see a calm expression on his face.

"No thank I choose life." Issei stated as he turn around, walking away from Angron. He found himself stopped by Angron's hand and immediately turned around towards the Mountain.

"Yes and life it that way Issei." Angron said slightly annoyed by Issei trying to avoid their new location.

"What am I supposed to eat up there?" Issei asked.

"I'll go down the mountain and get you food." She answered.

"What if I get a cold? It looks like it's freezing up there." Issei asked again, trying to dissuade Angron from her choice.

"Oh, I'll keep you warm." She stated flatly.

"With what firewood, that Mountain looks so barren, it makes a Desert look more refreshing," Issei said.

"I'll keep you warm." Angron answers.

Issei didn't understand what Angron met, there was no firewood up, how was she supposed to keep him warm without fire?

"I'll keep you warm with my body." Angron said in a nonchalant tone of voice.

Issei blushed at the idea of being spooned by Angron; I mean there was no way he was going to be the big spoon unless he tries.

"Look please, don't you think heading there is dangerous and risky." Issei said worriedly, Angron listened to Issei's complaint, she did need to think of the pros and cons of this plan.

"Angron I know you and your sister don't get along too well, but maybe talking to them is a good idea, they probably still think you have the butcher nail in your head." Issei suggested, he could see Angron getting annoyed by the mention of her sisters. "Oh come on, don't you at least want to try menids your relationships with your family."

Angron turned away from Issei, she remembered the foster family in her slave days. They were the only family she had, but they're gone now.

"I don't want to talk to them." Angron said quietly. Issei could see he might have hit a nerve but wanted to apologize. If you should understand family troubles it should be him.

"Hey, I didn't mean to upset you." Issei said.

"No, it's fine, we'll be leaving now, so eat up, It's a long trip there." she said in a sad tone of voice.

What more could Issei do when you have a Literal demigod watching over you, it's hard to think about escaping. Issei quickly finished his fire pit cooked meat. The two had begun their journey to the desolate mountain.

The two Journey through the forest. It was very peaceful, as Issei could see strange red birds flying over their heads.

Angron stopped in her tracks as she gazed down at the ground.

Issei had stopped and wondered why Angron stopped moving.

"Yo Angron you good?" Issei asked only to see what she was staring at. Angron the world eater, the brutal warrior warlord, was staring at a very beautiful orchid, its petals were colored a metallic blue and its stem was emerald green.

Angron admired the beauty and wanted to capture it but her ginormous slim hands wouldn't be up for the delicate job, she sighed disappointedly. She Heard a soft giggle next to her.

"You enjoying the flower, you flower girl." Issei said in a joking tone of voice. Angron embarrassedly looked away. Issei figured she wanted to pick the flower, but it looked like she couldn't.

"Hey, do you mind if I get that for you?" Issei asked.

Angron was about to request he didn't, but couldn't voice her response as Issei had already plucked it off the ground to reveal a long green stem attached to it.

"Got it." Issei said.

"Actually I don't think I have a pocket that would hold it carefully." Angron said sadly. Issei then had an idea pop in his head.

"Hey, I got an idea Angron could you kneel down." Issei asked.

Angron raised an eyebrow but did kneel in front of Issei. The warrior then felt issei's hand over her right ear, she found the Orcutt is now Tucked behind her ear.

"See how about that." Issei said as he walked away. Angron blushed at the action. She felt her hearts beat faster.

Issei turned around to see she was a bit star-struck. Issei couldn't help but gaze at, Angron's flower. It was a good look for her.

"Hey, that's a good look for you." Issei said. she definitely looked like she was in a dazed state "Hey you coming or not."

Angron was snapped out of her daze. She straightened herself out and stood up and walked over to Issei's side.

The two soon walked through the Forest, in comfortable silence as usual. After a couple of minutes had passed something walked out in the open, where Angron and Issei were.

The being was obscured for hiding behind the local plant life, it Sharp teeth clicked, as it smelled the ground where the two shredded and gave a low growl escape its maw as blue saliva salivated out of its mouth.

—-

Angron and Issei had walked for hours, covering many miles still deep in the pink cherry Forrest, they were drinking water from a cold stream. It possibly came from the snow running down the mountain. Issei drank his fill of water, while Angron waited. Issei drank the fresh stream until he noticed a tiny aftertaste of metal. He stopped drinking when he noticed the clear liquid, being invaded by a deep blue color.

Issei turned his head upstream to see more blue invading the river. His interest got the better of him as he walked up the stream to see the blue coming from behind a pink cherry bush. As he grabbed and moved he was welcomed by a horrifying site. A body of a reptile creature was ripped into shreds. He could see the vital organs of the creature spilling out of its body and being pushed by the soft stream. Its mouth had a twisted face of pain on it.

Issei jolted back in terror, only to see Angron behind him, looking at the body with curiosity. Issei felt his stomach turn a bit.

"Hey did you do this?" Issei asked Angron.

"No." Angron answered.

Angron couldn't think, of any weapon that matched its wounds, it also disturbed her. The animal had no bite marks or missing body parts. It was mostly disemboweled.

"Let's move we can make it to the mountain by nightfall today if we hurry." Angron stated. Issei didn't argue with her logic and he wanted to be far from this site, as soon as possible.

"What the matter is this bringing back memories, hmm." Raynare voice said in a sarcastic tone. Issei fisted gripped in anger.

"Let's get moving." Issei said. Angron nodded and pickup up Issei by the waist, setting him on her shoulder, moving from the area fast. They walked more deep into the forest. There was a new feeling of dread, something about that dead animal, didn't sit well with the two of them.

As Issei walked by Angron he felt like they were benignly watched.

"I got a bad feeling about this." Issei said out loud as Angron could silently agree.

Unknown to the two of them something was watching them from afar, its bright red eye shinned glowed with malice at the Issei and Angron.

—-

Many hours had passed and the light was starting to fade as a dark cloud sky was soon to come.

Issei sat by a new campfire made by Angron. She gathered a grand size of firewood. Setting the bundle down on the ground. Angron soon sat by Issei's side, basking in the warmth with him.

"Hey Angron, why don't you hate your sister?" Issei asked. Angron uncomfortably flinched at Issei's question. In her mind, she had to ask herself did she really hate her sister, most thoughts that went through her mind back then were replaced with hate, but now she didn't truly know. Her fights with Russ, she no longer viewed them with malicious intent; but with honor. She did truly think of one that deserved all her rage.

"I guess I can't truly say. I don't hate my sisters. Though damn nails twisted my mind to no end." Angron confessed, she let her hand fall to the ground, only for her hand to grip into a fist, her knuckles were bone-chilling white. "I hate the emperor the most." Angron stated.

"Your father." Issei answered.

Issei saw her clenched fist. Issei reached for Angron's fist and calmly laid his hand on top of hers. In Issei's mind, if Angron comforted him and his weakest moments he would gladly do the same. Angron relaxed at Issei touch. Taking in a deep breath and continuing to speak in a sorrowful tone.

"That man is not my father, he may have made me, but he was not the one who raised me. My true father Oenomaus was a fellow slave, he taught me how to fight and showed me to honor those who fought with courage and bravery. We fought together no matter the odds, until one of our matches, the masters, wanted us to fight each other. We refused and the masters were not pleased, so they implanted the butcher's nails in my head, forcing me to fight Oenomaus." Angron said, hanging her head low and sadness took over her eyes.

"I won." Angron said in a broken voice. Issei stood horrified after hearing such an atrocity, put on Angron.

"Though he was gone, I fell into a deep howling depression for days. So I had enough of this hell, I gathered the many friends and family that were enslaved with me, we laid an assault and escaped from that hell. We were free but we were on the run, as the world forces chased us down, we managed to escape to a mountain, but we found ourselves trapped. As the High riders surrounded the mountain, we were outmatched and outnumbered. I thought all hope was lost. Until the emperor teleported to where our base camp was." Angron said Issei had listened intently to what Angron was gonna say next.

"So he was there to help you right?" Issei asked hoping there was some good in this story.

"No, when the Emperor appeared, he promised me a Legion of warriors in my own image. That had limited power and a lifetime spent perfecting the art of conquest. I refused his offer. I refused to join his imperium of man, I knew we were going to die in that battle but I would rather die with my family, than a stranger. He teleported away and before the battle could begin he only West me away from the battlefield." Angron sobbed. "I was the only one he had taken to the ship. He took me away against my will. I could only watch in Anguish as those who I loved or annihilated right in front of my eyes." She finished as Angron fully held Issei's hand to control herself, from Freaking out. It was then her power went off as she felt an uncontrollable amount of furious rage. She gazed at Issei to see him shaking with rage.

"What kind of person does that, doesn't he at least try and help you in your time of need? What kind of sick animal does that, doesn't at least consider the idea of saving people who need it." Issei fumed. His mind flashed off an image when he failed to save another from death. It was then he felt a sharp pain in his heart as he slowly settled down. His heart did ache in horrible pain. Why did Angron have to suffer such a cruel soul-crushing fate?

"Ah look at that, you two are like soulmates, you might as well marry each other, fitting for freaks like you." The voice of Raynare said as the cures decided to jab at Issei's emotional state.

"What the hell was that?" Issei thought as he calmed down again. The curse is slowly making its way to her heart. Angron gently put her hand on Issei's shoulder. She admired the sympathy he gave. Issei couldn't Believe what he heard; it had to be one of the most tragic stories he ever heard. While this emperor sounded more like a tyrant than a righteous ruler.

"Thank you Issei but it's alright, I guess when I finally met my sister I grew to resent them, for they had not gone through the same trials as me, but I wish it wasn't like that, maybe one day it could be different. Though I don't know anymore I just want to be left alone." Angron said.

Issei truly now understood why Angron acted the way she did. She is alone, like him. Issei gripped her hand tightly, oddly enough Angron could feel it. Though it was like a small pinch, she felt it. Issei gave Angron a determined gaze.

"Angron I swear to help you build a bond with your sister, I'm gonna help you have a family again and I'll protect it no matter what." Issei said determined to keep the promise he made.

Angron, a matriarch, is a super being designed for combat and war. Blushed a bright red, for a promise and the gaze, Issei gave, had moved her heart.

"Issei you don't have to promise me anything, I owe you more than you know." Angron protested sadly.

"I don't care about when you beat me, I'm over it." Issei exclaimed.

"You forgive me that quick." Angron said, surprised by the words of Issei. "I mean that was surprisingly fast, to forgive me, I beat you up pretty good."

"Hey's it okay you weren't thinking right, I'm not mad at you." Issei said truthfully in a kind tone of voice.

"That's why I think we should go back to your sister, so you can talk to them, maybe they could understand. I mean your better now, maybe they'll understand your pain." Issei said.

Angron had shut the idea out of her head, but Issei doesn't truly know what monsters that are in the imperium. She needed to take him away, so that he was safe.

"Issei I know your intentions are only for the best but I cannot go back, I just don't feel it's right. They'll use me like him." Angron said, trying to show Issei how his heart was in the wrong place.

"But-." Issei tried to say only to be caught off by Angron.

"Issei please I don't want to talk about this anymore, so please let us be done with the topic." Angron said in a fit of anger. Though Issei could tell it was more annoyed with the topic at hand. He sighed in Defeat. He laid down on the soft ground beneath him, his face pointed away from the fire, as he took a calm relaxing breath to help him rest.

"Good night Angron." Issei said.

Angron continued to look at the fire as she sat calmly and talked to the laying Issei.

"Good night Issei." She whispered.

Issei smiled as he lay down, tomorrow would be a different day. Maybe he could bring the topic up again. Issei felt like he was making some headway with Angron, helping her change her decision, hopefully. Issei stared off into the dark forest trying to find a calm thing to think of to help him sleep.

As he stared off into the dark forest, he had an uneasy feeling like something was watching him, there was no wind, it was calm and no light to shine away the darkness. Issei's eyes started to pick a figured silhouette, it was odd he thought his mind was playing tricks on him. It can happen many times to everybody in the dark, like when you see something around a dark corner, only for the mind to play tricks on you. Then in a brief moment, a shadow scurried away into the forest.

He jolted up wondering what was that. He turned to Angron to see her looking at the fire calmly.

"I think there's something out there." Issei said to Angron. She didn't take her eyes off the fire and calmly waved it off.

"Issei it's just your mind, I would know if something was following us." Angron assured Issei.

Issei still had his guard up, as he slowly laid back down on the ground. Tonight would not be easy, there's something in these words. That was Issei's last thought before he went to bed.

Night had fallen over the newly built base camp of the Matriarchs. Rogal had spent days building this one, there is more sturdy strong material such as stone concrete and what looks to be steel. A lot of the surrounding aspens were cleared out and what stood in its place was a grand gathering hall that stretched for miles, it was fortified by strong walls, it stood over the forest, hung the dark gothic buildings and strong eerie presents.

There were many rooms in the building, all empty but dedicated, to each and every matriarch.

In one of the giant rooms that was dimly lit, by many torches, Sanguineous laid unconscious on a large mound of soft grass, she sometimes moved in her sleep, her action would have suggested she was hugging something or trying to grasp them. Horus watched over Sanguineous for hours, making sure she wouldn't hurt herself.

Horus could only think of the name that Sanguineous uttered before sanguineous passed out. Issei was the last thing she said. What could it have meant? Horus thought silently as she sat on a large wooden stool. Horus was snapped out of her thinking, when she heard a light groan, coming from Sanguineous.

She slowly sat up, regaining her senses. A supporting hand held her up and Horus guided her up onto her feet. An aloof smile appeared on her face as Horus helped her. Though Horus did have to avoid getting hit by her giant wings, as soft they looked, they were strong as steel, and shapes like knives.

"Thank you, Horus." Sanguineous said, finding her strength to stand.

Hours had gazed at Sanguineous with a serious look.

"Sanguineous, are you in control?" Horus asked her tone of voice was filled with dread, like she didn't even want to ask the question. Sanguineous looked at her sister with a silent gaze only to calmly nod at her question. Horus was relieved but still had to wonder why her sister acted the way she did.

"Then what happened? Why did you say that boy's name? You said Issei." Horus asked.

Sanguineous cautiously looked around her, noticing there were still in the room but wondering if hidden eyes were on her.

"Are we alone?" Sanguineous asked in a hushed whisper. Horus nodded strongly.

"No one should be coming to visit, especially when I said you were feeling fatigued from constant flying, trying to search for Angron." Horus said calmly though she had a pride smirk.

"Aren't you the devious type?" Sanguineous jokingly jabbed. "But the truth is that I had a vision."

Her voice became a quiet whisper as her eye, showed only bleak sadness. Horus saw the confliction in her eyes. She had never seen her sister so spooked, it didn't sit while with Horus as what could have scared her so much.

"What was your vision?" Horus asked her voice having a deep desperation in wanting to know what scared her sister.

"I was losing myself to the red thirst and I was alone." Sanguineous confessed in a melancholy whisper. Horus refused to hear of her sister falling into a genetic flaw. Horus knew of the red thirst, it was a genetic flaw in the blood angels, it was a never-ending urge that drove a space marine into madness to devour others, drinking all of their victim's blood.

"That won't happen, I won't let that happen." Horus told her sister in a determined tone of voice as Horus' right hand held onto Sanguineous shoulder.

Sanguineous was touched by her sister's action and calmly did the same.

"Thank you Horus, but I am not finished, there is a reason why I murmured out the boy's name. He was there during my fall, he watched over me and he tried to bring me back from it up, I told him I couldn't be brought back, yet when he Witnessed my monster's rage, he didn't fall back and stood his ground." Sanguineous paused as she remembered the vision that really caught her interest.

"He well, oh my, it's quite hard to explain-Um well you see." Sanguineous tumbled over her words and blushed at the memory. Horus had noticed her sister's strange behavior, why was she blushing? It was strange seeing her like this, it was comparable to a lion that acted like a house cat. Such a mighty warrior only to be shied away from embarrassment.

"Well, what is it, spit it out." Horus said, trying to help her sister finish telling her vision.

"That boy, Issei, kissed me and offers himself to me, in my time of need he…" sanguineous had felt a pause, as the action touched her hearts.

"He gave me his blood, he let me bite into him, there was no terror in his eyes, only joy." She said in a passionate whisper. Horus had a stunning gaze, at the idea of this boy giving himself up so freely to die for her. It was something only another human could do.

"I don't even know what it means." Sanguineous said in a hopeless voice. "What if I'm doomed to be a monster."

Horus still held her gaze on, still holding her determined gaze on Sanguineous. No matter what fate had in store for them she would break those chains no matter what.

"I won't let that happen, you have my word." Horus promised in a solid vow, that it was built upon a stronger bond between the two. The moment was broken though as a knock at the door cut the tension of the room like a knife. The door opened to reveal Rogal Dorn, she had the same calm composure as usual.

"I must inform you that a meeting is being held in the hall, so please attend at your own leisure." Rogal told in a commanding tone of voice. Her eyes so went to gaze at Sanguineous. There was an awkward long pause in the room.

"Ah good your wake, there's a meeting soon." Rogal said as she closed the door.

"At least we know Rogal will never change." Horus jokes.

The two laughed at the joke as they calmed themself.

Issei had woken up from his slumber, he couldn't sleep, he felt as if they were being watched. Issei sat up from his uneasy sleep, rubbing his weary eyes. He also was afraid to go to sleep remembering what Que said.

He looked to see Angron relaxing by the warm fire. Seeing Issei awake, she invited Issei to sit next to her. He gladly accepts the offer.

"I apologize, my ability is still very new to me, but I can certify I will be able to master it soon as possible." Angron said quietly, ashamed of her inability to master her healing power.

"No that's not it all." issei said, comforting her. "Please it's alright, the truth is when I'm afraid to go back to sleep, I don't wanna dream of anything horrible."

Angron felt bad for Issei's sleep disturbance, she wished she could train more with this new power, wondering how to maximize it to the best of her ability. Alone time will tell.

"Issei, if you could have a normal night of sleep, what would you want to dream about." Angron asked quietly.

Issei had answered in his mind but blushed at the idea of saying it out loud to another.

"Oh, maybe something nice." Issei said awkwardly. "Maybe you in a bunny-."

A snapped branch then silences the two of them. As they both turned in the direction of the sound of the snap. They looked into the dark forest with a feeling of discomfort. Angron knew it couldn't have been her sister; she would feel their presents if they were here. Though the truth was she didn't sense anything out. Which didn't make any sense, for she even knew when the hogs were around. The wind began to slowly blow over the trees. The darkness of the woods surrounded them, as an uneasy feeling settled in.

Then a clicking noise echoes around them, followed by an echo of growling and snarling.

"What was that?" Issei asked worriedly trying to think of what could have made that noise. Angron armed herself held tightly held her two chainsaw axes tightly, ready to unleash a furious attack on anybody that came out of these woods.

Clicking was heard all around them. Then the two both realized something was Circling around them. More branches snapped and bushes moved. Issei held his ground but felt his fear start to kick in. Angron held her weapons high and eagerly listened to the noise around them.

"Issei stay behind me." Angron ordered in a quiet yet strict tone.

"No, I'm fighting this thing no matter what, you got me." Issei said.

"Issei this is not a game, stand back now!" Angron urged aggressively.

Then the woods became dead quiet, the two didn't even make a move, they stood still waiting for whatever this thing was to come out in the open. A long-dreaded pause started to take over.

Angron's eyes widen as she saw a blur run by the campfire straight at Issei, In a quick moment, she blocked the blur's path and as the revving of her chain ax screamed through the air, she brought down a mighty slash at the blur, giving the creature a deep cut on it's chest. it's screwed away back into the darkness of the forest.

Angron stood her ground waiting for the beast to come at them again, though it sounded like it was sacred of Angron's attack. She looked towards Issei only to see him staring at her neck.

"What is it?" Angron asked in a panicked voice.

"Your bleeding." Issei said worriedly as he pointed to the right side of her neck. Angron wiped her heck, she looked at her hand to see a small trickle of blood. It was a tiny deep scratch on her neck. She snickers at the damage.

"Such grand speed and all it could do was give a tiny cut." Angron proudly said, She gazed at Issei knelt down, and gave him a serious that could crack diamonds.

"Issei next you must listen, please this is for your own safety do you understand."Angron urged in a serious soft voice. Issei shamefully looked away only for Angron's hand to clasp around his chin, to guide Issei's face to look at her face which was dangerously close to his.

"I know you want to help, but must listen, your to important to me to let anything happen to you, do you understand?" Angron said in an Aggressive growl. Issei had forgotten about the whole prison situation and nodded calmly looking into Angron's eyes. He cursed himself for how beautiful they were, now full of so much burning emotion.

"I understand." Issei grumbled in a defeated tone of voice. As soon the words came out of his mouth Angron lifted Issei off the ground and slung him over her shoulder. Knocking the air right out of him.

Angron then jolted towards the mountain rushing through the Forest with quick haste. Issei grumbled as he tried to catch his breath again. Angron knew they had towards the mountain fast, who knows if that thing was still stalking them.

Angron bolted, rushing off to find the perfect shelter. Issei could grumble in defeat, but was cut off when he felt sharp pain spike his heart, he held in his pain full grunts so Angron would hear.

"Aw, what's the matter, feeling weak makes sense seeing how much of a failure you are, hey. I have an idea why don't you die so I can't take over my body, how does that sound?" The voice of Raynare said as Issei forced back down.

That's all he could do was force it down so it will never escape. If the curse he had nothing to worry about as long as Angron was here he would be fine. Angron had a stiff laugh. The back of his throat. Angron acted kind of like an angel. She shows up in a blade of fury, only to give kinda salvation, only to hold it against you. Angron, an angel.

The more he thought about his curse situation the more it made sense to go with Angron.

"I can't go back to the others if I have a ticking time bomb in me, god it sounded like Angron hadn't even known of Angels and Demons, would they even be ready for a fight like that." Issei thought darkly.

"I know I promised to get them home, but how am I supposed to do that if I'm a danger to them? This is for the best at least Angron will keep me in check. Hopefully." Issei said in utter disappointment wanting to go back to the others only now realizing he couldn't truly help them at all.

"I'm sorry everyone, at least you'll all be safe." Issei thought.

Wondering how long the trip to the mountain would take, turned his head over his shoulder to see where we were almost out of the pink cherry woods. Angron had a smile on her face as she saw the trees slowly coming to an end. The forest outline was a few feet away from the base of the mountain. They were home free.

Angron smiled madly, their new fortress was ahead and nothing would stop them. Not even the wildlife of this strange world. Angron turned her head towards Issei, showing off her toothy grin.

"Our new life's started here, are you ready Issei?" Angron asked hoping at least Issei could be positive on the way to the mountain, hopefully. Issei looked back at Angron with a calm smile knowing that his fate was sealed, at least he wanted alone.

"Yay I'm ready." Issei said happily as gave Angron a happy smile.

Angron ran over to the end of the forest, her footsteps started to make small craters in the ground for how much she desired to get the location she wanted. As Angron made her first step to the mountain, she found her legs to feel funny, then her body felt a bit slow. Angron In Nanoseconds of thinking, she figured out her body wasn't going still so in a desperate attempt to keep Issei safe she push Issei off her shoulder, in those next seconds the way Angron ran and how fast she moved when she tripped she would have launched across the few feet of forest and slammed in the mountain base. She laid conscious because her body was in a paralysis state. Her weapons help on her sides, with arms sprawled over the ground.

Issei landed hard on the ground his clothes were now scuffed and ripped. Issei immediately got up to see out of the forest, Angron laying on her side, her face in a state of panic for she could not move.

"Angron!" Issei yelled as he ran over to her.

Then a mighty roar that sounded like the demonic scream of an elk and the hissing of a reptile thundered across the woods. Angron eyes widened in horror at the sound, she realized the beast's attack wasn't some killing blow it injected its venom into Angron. Issei was about to take another step only to hear a match of steps coming towards Angron, then the steps stopped. Issei looked at Angron's face to see she was staring to her far right. Issei turned his head to see a horrible reptile-like creature staring straight at Angron as it took ragged breaths.

It stood on its legs, supported by its height that dwarfed Angron, its skin was a shining obsidian black and the body was long and slender. The arms of the beast had long spindly claws. With jagged sharp teeth, the worst was its long tail that had some sort of an elongated spike at the end of its black tail. The beast head was mix of allgaiotr and bear. While a giant gash bleeds from its cheats. The beast snarled at Angron as it walked to her paralyzed state. Issei, horrified, tried to run towards Angron but stopped when Angron gave him a serious look.

"No, stay away, it wants me!" Angron yelled trying to get Issei away from this place. The beast was already at the edge of the forest and started at Angron with dead cold reptile eyes. Angron knew she was a goner, but at least when this beast Feasted on her guts, Issei would have time to escape. Angron waited for painful death only for it to never come. Angron eyes were latched on to the creature to see it dare not take a step out of the forest.

"Eat me you foul beast!" Angron yelled only for it to take a step back. Angron then realized the creature didn't want to leave the forest. Then the beast looked at Issei who was a few feet away from escaping the forest. The creature turned its head towards Angron to show off its horrible teeth. Angron was confused wondering

What the creature, only to be horrified to realize it was smiling. Angron recognized that smile, it was a smile that feasted off the pain and suffering of others.

Angron eyes gazed at Issei in panic. She yelled in a hysteric cry.

"Issei run!"

Issei stopped running only to see the horrible beast, had cut off from the path he was going to help Angron. Issei felt dread as the creature hissed and licked its maw with its red tongue. He had no chance of escaping, the way this creature moved was at unbelievable speed. The worse thing was that Issei knew this. The creature opened its mouth, Issei thought he was going to die.

He shook in terror as the creature slowly lifted its five-finger claw, its fist was gripped only to slowly lift up one claw.

"No running out of bounds One." The creature said in a warped ragged voice.

Issei was confused about what it was doing and was startled that it could talk. Why did It say one?

It then lifted another claw.

"Two." The creature screamed.

Issei then realized what was happening, it was a countdown. Though a countdown to what it was: a mystery.

The beast then took one of its long claws and dragged it across its throat and pointed at Issei. The mystery was now solved, as Issei swelled with panic that spiked pain in his heart, Issei ran off into the woods away from Angron. Angron screamed bloody murder for Issei to run away.

"Run!" She yelled.

Issei bolted away as fast as he could from the monster that stood in his path away. He dove deeper into the forest and as the night had consumed most of his vision, he ran like a madman. He tripped over a tree root that stuck out from the ground, as he landed on the ground hard, he frantically tried to get up but stopped when he felt a drop of liquid land on his forehead. He looked at his hand to see blood on his hand. Issei stopped and slowly looked up to see a dead same small reptile body strung on the pink cherry tree branch and its face was in pure pain. Issei started to panic as felt more drops of blood rain on him. Issei madly looked around the tree line to see a massacre of dead animals hanging from the trees. Some were impaled on branches, while their intestines decorated the whole area.

Issei felt himself falling into a panic attack, running from the blood rain.

"Aw come on what the matter, Afraid of a little blood HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" Raynare said in the voice at the back of his mind, wanting Issei to fall more.

Issei ran for his life as he didn't know where to go. This was a nightmare what could he even do people are just going to die. Tears built up in his eyes as he realized that he left Angron behind.

Issei could hear the sound of rushing water ahead, passing a grove of bushes he tried to swim across the rushing stream, only to trip in the water absolutely drenching him in water, though most of the blood was washed away. Issei, exhausted from running, falls to his knees.

"TIME IS UP, READY OR NOT HERE I COME." The creature rowed in a beastly howl. Issei frantically looked around to find anything to hide from the awful beast. Trees that were miles away stirred like they were moved by something. Issei's eyes latched on to a deep dark crevice by the riverside, that was small enough for him to sneak into. He quickly crawled into it and hid away from the outside.

It was dry and cramped but he was safe and hopefully, nothing would find him.

Issei started to calm himself down wondering how he would get out of this. Issei saw how the creature didn't even want to leave the forest, but why? Is it trapped here? So that means Angron is safe, but she can't move.

"I just need to think of a plan to get myself out of this forest." Issei said he had to concentrate right now, he needed to be smart and not let his emotions take off.

"Okay, Issei what do I know about this thing, it is scary, sadistic, and possibly what nightmares are made of." Issei struggled as he had nothing to fight against this monster. It dawned on him he still has the unknown power, he just had to remember what he did to trigger it.

"Okay let's recap when Angron was betting the ever-loving shit out of me. What was I thinking that made me do it?" Issei asked himself, trying to give himself an advantage.

"Come think of something useful, think you, idiot. Think." Issei said as he bashed his fist on his head.

Issei had stopped thinking when a trickle of slime dripped all over his shoulder, Issei's eyes widened in horror as he looked up to see the beast had already found him, as it started down at Issei. It tried to shove force its head into the crevice but wasn't able to, Issei scurried further back into the Crevice trying to avoid its nasty teeth. His heart started to beat like crazy, as the beast was actually getting its head through the dirt slowly. Issei scrambled back down further into the hole trying to escape with his life. He couldn't think, he couldn't breathe, he couldn't even fight. Then Issei let his own fear take over.

"Oh look at you, we'll make it quick, don't embarrass yourself even more." Raynare said nonchalantly.

"No one is going to help you, you're going to die alone." Raynare said in a mocking tone. "Why are you even still…."

"Oh, will you just shut up!" Issei barked not even caring at the words the curse said, as his fear trumped all his emotions.

Issei didn't know what to do, he didn't wanna die, he had promised the others. Then a spark of emotion hit him.

Issei had made so many promises to others. People who needed his actual help and here he was shaking in fear, could he just do that? No one gave him permission to die.

Issei didn't want to die alone. then that's what hit him. As Issei felt his back hit the bottom of the hole, both literally and figuratively. The feeling of survival, the urge to keep on going when nothing matters. The feeling of stepping into the unknown no matter the risk to control.

"I refuse to die." Issei screamed as he would fight this creature until the last drop of blood in his body. Issei felt that cosmic feeling flow through his veins. Issei's eyes went completely pitch black. Issei rushed at the creature with a mighty roar, using every single drop of courage within him.

In a nanosecond Issei throws a punch straight at the beast's snort, sending its flying feet into the air like a toy rocket. The beast's body hit the ground with a mighty thud that crushed its rips. They slowly got to their feet, shaking off the pain that was surprisingly inflicted by Issei. The creature turned its head towards the crevice where it was just knocked away.

Issei slowly climbed out of the hole, standing proudly, with no fear in his eyes. As he readies himself for anything to be thrown at him. The creature ready itself for a pounce, as its eyes, carefully study Issei's eyes. They weren't just colored black but we're like looking into a deep dark void.

"Are we just going to stand around all day or going to fight?"

The creature yelled out a blood-curdling roar. As it leaped for Issei with Extreme speed. Issei stepped hastily to the creature's right face as I've mentioned avoiding its claws. Issei in retaliation punched the creature in the back of the head, throwing the creature to a tree crashing right through multiple trees, which exploded with great force of how fast the animal hit them. Issei had a feral grin on his face, inflicting the pain was wonderful as Issei felt better.

He could see in this could darkness, he could hear a hundred new sounds, he could smell the new smell. Issei stood knowing that he could do something. Then a new sound was picked by his ear, as it made his heart swell in pain. Looking back to the monster.

Issei didn't need to fight this thing, all he had to do was get out of the forest. Issei ran back towards where he had left Angron. He ran with great speed as leaped over giant entangled roots and gripped onto leave branches swinging through the woods with great ease.

Though he need to get that new sound fast, he leaped and ran only to reach his destination. The border of the forest and on the other side was. Angron was paralyzed from the neck down laying in utter defeat as she quietly wept. Issei was able to hear her cries a mile away, he needed to get to her as fast as he could.

The closer he got Issei witnessed the tears of anguish leaking from Angron's eyes.

"Oh someone just kills me now! I'm so sorry Issei, please forgive me I failed you, I just wanted us to be safe I couldn't EVEN DO THAT!" Angron screamed in pure sad pain. Issei's eyes had returned to normal as he rushed to Angron.

"WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPING, I FAIL AND FAIL AGAIN, WHY DID I HAVE TO FAIL YOU ISSEI, ALL I JUST WANTED TO DO WAS PROTECT YOU, I'M SORRY." Angron cried in pure dread. Only to see someone walk into her vision she started at the figure only to see it was Issei standing right there. Angron's hearts felt as if they were going to jump right out with relief.

"Don't worry I'm here." Issei said happily taking his step outside of this cursed forest. Angron eyes were hidden in horror as creature the charged at Issei with extreme speed.

"ISSEI BEHIND YOU!" Angron yelled in panic.

Issei didn't have enough time to get out of the creature's warpath, in haste moment the creature implied gut and chest with its long claws, and his blood splattered over Angron as she cried in pain at what she witnessed.

"NO!" Angron screamed.

Issei could only feel his body going cold, as the creature slowly lifted Issei in the air and brought him to meet the creature's twisted eyes. The beast smiled with its malice.

"No going out of bounds, player loses." The creature said as it slowly pulled out its claws from Issei's stomach. As blood poured from the gaping wound that was left behind. Issei didn't know what to do anymore, he was dying, and that's all that mattered. Issei felt himself losing consciousness. His mind began to flash to images of him failing. A horrible feeling of doubt and pain filled his mind as he felt the cold embrace of death soon approach. Issei did nothing, he tried so hard and got so far, but in the end, it didn't even matter. Issei's eyes slowly closed, but before he could, he turned his head at Angron.

Issei's eyes widen witnessing her face turn into nothing but pure devastating sadness.

"Please don't leave me, left alone…please Issei don't leave." Angron cried softly.

He could not hear for all noises around them became an eerie ringing. Issei looked at how desperate Angron screamed for Issei to be left alone. The creature didn't care as the monster was readying its claw to stab at Issei again. In Issei's mind, he screamed to not give up, to keep going no matter what, to keep fighting. Issei grabbed the claws that impaled him, and the creature stopped his assault to find that Issei would not give it the satisfaction of suffering from pain. Issei then grasps the creature so tight that bones were breaking in its arm.

"I'M NOT GOING TO DIE, I'M GOING TO THE MOUNTAIN WITH ANGRON, NOTHING WILL STOP US." Issei shouted at the crippled creature because he gripped harder on its arms trying to tear it off.

The creature in a survival panic sliced off its arm that was impaling Issei, leaving it in Issei who fell to his knees, Issei's eyes turned back into pitch black as he slowly stood like some unknown force possessed him to stand. Though Issei was doing the work.

The creature was about to lash out again only to find all the surroundings shadows start to move and not just the shadows around them, but all of the forest shadows zoom off the ground and go into Issei. When the shadow left there was no darkness, only a light gray to take its place making the forest lifeless. The shadows covered his entire body, as Issei was now in a perpetual amount of advanced shade. Angron's eyes widened at what she was watching. This was no psyker doing, for she could not feel any ounce of the warp happening right in front of her.

"Issei." Angron said in a weak tone of voice, as she sounded so quiet.

Issei felt the shadows speak to him, whispering secrets of the atrocities of this creature. Issei enraged by this, felt a spark as his body caught on fire, his entire being engulfed in cosmic blue flames, the shadow acting as tinder for the flames to burn brighter. Issei felt no pain, as he was overtaken by a welcoming feeling of the abyss.

The Flames burned brighter until no being could look at him with the naked eye and just as it brightened, the flames vanished leaving a ginormous piece of burnt charcoal. The creature didn't know what it was looking at thinking it won the battle, so it stepped back.

Then a loud crack boomed from the charcoal, then the brunt rock exploded into a million pieces as smoke and shadows. The shadows scurried away back to where they were. The smoke faded away to reveal a kneeling black obsidian armored being. The armor wasn't bulky like the Matriarch, it was slim and hugged onto the body as it was the second layer of skin. It was shiny like black obsidian. The helmet face was completely smooth and the material was reflected. The left gauntlet fingers were sharpened to the point and the right arm odd resembled the creature's arm that was missing. Its fingers were longer than the over but more armored with rough ridges. The armor hugged its legs, while the feet of the armor formed sharp points. Issei could only feel one thing: rage for the creature that started all of this.

Issei slowly stood up, not even acknowledging his own new state of being. Angron had only started in awe at, Issei's transformation. She could feel a raging aura around him, but also an overwhelming feeling of protection that was directed towards her, she was breath taken by the action. As she felt her face blush so lightly. Though it was pushed aside worrying what Issei was, there was no light, only shadows. Even warp always had some light be it twisted to a horrible degree.

"You. Made. Angron. CRY!" Issei yelled in bloody murder. The creature jumped at Issei with a death-curdling scream. Its mouth was wide open ready to chop down on him, but Issei was faster as he brought his new right hand down onto the beast's head slamming it down into the ground and planting it in the dirt beneath it. The creature's jaws were mangled and broken by how strong Issei slammed its head to the ground as his fist buried itself in its skull. This creature found a new fear of the black knight's wrath.

Issei still had his hand on top of the creature's head.

"Gamer over." Issei said as he brought his left hand, tightening his hand into a fist. Issei took a deep breath and let the shadows run through him.

The air around his fist lost its colors, as it was too scared to tread the shadow of Issei. It formed a dull grey sphere around his fist.

Issei threw the punch into the beast's head, crushing its skull Beneath his fist. When it was finally over the creature was dead, Issei looked around the forest around him, remembering what the shadows told him of the atrocities that happened in these woods. Only one thing was needed for this place.

Let it burn.

Issei looked at the forest. He slowly closed his eyes underneath his strange visor helmet. Issei wanted this place to be cleansed for the better. He held out Issei's hand and touched a nearby tree, Issei finally had a way to concentrate on his new power, he didn't know what he was doing but he had to just let it flow from his heart to his fingertips.

Angron wonder what issei was doing. So decided to ask.

"What are you doing?" Angron asked, trying to find any logic that was happening in front of her.

Issei didn't even bat a gaze at Angron, he only looked into the darkness of these woods.

"I'm cleansing this place." Issei breathed out as black sparks started to burn the bark away only for it to set fire to the tree. The fire quickly spreads around the tree setting fire to this evil place.

Issei turned toward Angron, as he slowly walked at the paralyzed matriarch. Angron had no words as she worriedly examined Issei. What was me, no human Pskyer could do what he did. Angron had a small amount of nervousness, would he harm her, was all this some elaborate form of torment?

Angron could only stare anxiously, as this armored being walked toward Angron with intense footsteps that trembled the ground near her.

"Issei," she asked in a timid tone of voice. Issei stopped when he took notice of her timid voice. He needed to show her that he was still issei. He gripped the back of the helmet and attempted to unlock it, only to find nothing.

Enraged he gripped the back of his helmet and tried to use his newfound super strength to take it off forcefully. Issei tore the black armor off his head and shortly the armor crumbled away like dust. To reveal a weary face. Issei's eyes were no longer a bitch black, but we were returned to his normal brown kind eyes. Angron used her powers to feel any malicious emotion in him only to find that overwhelming feeling of protection wave over her mind. Issei never left to begin with.

Angron relaxed, taking a sigh of relief and letting her joyful tears drop, splashing the dirt floor freely.

"Issei." Angron whispered happily. "It's over, leave me... I am in no state to move. The others will surely catch me, but they won't catch you, so go be free."

"What!" Issei said in astonishment.

Angron had thought that she would only hold issei back. Her escape meant nothing for she believed that she would invariably fail to be free.

Issei says nothing as he hangs his head down low, keeping his eyes glued to the ground. Angron couldn't see his sentiments; only a quiet teen was in his place. Issei walked towards the paralyzed Angron only for him to drag her weapons she's them on her left side. Angron glanced at Issei with a surprised gaze.

"What are you doing?" She asked, unsure of what he was going to accomplish. Issei gently touched his foreheads to Angron, taking in a couple of amounts of this kind embrace.

Issei started at his new arm and gripped his hand, Determined to do his next action with nothing to keep him down.

Issei slid his left hand underneath Angron's lower back, while his new arm snaked under her knees. Issei then slowly lifted the matriarch off the ground as he held her in a bridal manner.

Angron gasped at the gesture, surprisingly Issei lifted her with medium exertion. Angron could find this situation funny in a comic sense way. How Issei's small being lifted off the ground despite her giant size. Angron was at lost for words.

Issei gazed deeply into Angron's yellow eyes, as he sported a happy smile on his face.

"We climb this mountain together, will be free together, will be alone together." Issei said as he began to walk up the long mountainside ahead.

Angron was in total awe of what was happening, her heart's started to beat faster, the way Issei looked when he cared for her safety, the way Issei held her was like a king bringing their queen to their castle. The truth was Issei had shown her so much compassion it touched her hearts. He freed her of her shackles, he brought back life into her eyes. Issei made her laugh and gave her so much back to be alive again. Her thoughts went wild as Angron fondly thought of Issei's features. His appearance slightly resembled the khan, as gave him a cool, alluring, mysterious, appearance. While his warm brown eyes made you feel safe, that went well with his lean body.

Angron could only think of one thing that passed through her mind.

"I'm in love with Issei Hyoudou." Angron thought finding the idea almost impossible; almost.

Issei could only think of getting Angron to the top, making sure she was safe. Then maybe he could keep the other safe.

"There are things you must Explain when we get there." Angron said as she could feel Issei's unease. Issei looked at Angron and gave a quick nod.

"Hey, my words mean everything." Issei joked as he gave Angron a goofy smile. Angron could only blush at his silly nature. He began his slow descent up the mountain, for a new future will come, one where everyone is safe and he was happy.
