Preface
The once beautiful, thriving lands of flowing water are in ruins. Like almost everywhere else it was destroyed during the war, the frightened war that last through generations of people. Fighting is slowly dying because of the shortage of food, water, and a lot of more. People were desperate trying to survive. But no one seems to know how or what to do.
Everyday people tried to find food, drink to support themselves. People that are tough, heartless, and wise got the most food, the weaker people will run out of food soon enough. Years passed by in this manner until there were hardly any foods for anyone and that the surviving people are almost all tough, heartless or wise. People everywhere were thinking about how to survive. A lot of ideas came up within the remaining population. Soon people with the same idea form their own communities and hardly interact with other communities except for special reasons.
In the Great Vast Plain there lived a few communities, all have almost the same main idea: to gain control. They got rid of the hills and forest, because of transportation issues. The most thriving of these communities is the most westward one.
Over a few of years the thriving community had gotten complete control. The leaders have strong ideas. They forced the people to give up freedom, privacy, individuality, and most of all choices. No one in the community have choices, not for a long time. Everyone have to do exactly the same thing that the leaders said. By limiting choices and selection the leaders limited also fights, thieves, hunger, and a lot of others.
As time past rules lightened and tightened. Then one rule came that change the community dramatically. They forced the people to give up memories.
