Chapter 11

The Student Council

A/N: First off, I read the chapters you informed me about. And it actually came back to me as the part where Moka broke the seal herself in desire to save Tsukune. But Hokuto, I did not remember what he looked like until now. He looks like a cool guy, but transforms into a monstrous being that I cannot describe. I can understand where you are going with this with him as the main villain. But...with this and the anime having all girls fight one guy? I don't wanna repeat the odds.

Now about Keito, who I'm going to use as my own main villain. I saw the anime episode and...the fight was lame. She was proven to be weak. Not extremely but, definitely weak. I can see why they went with the fox demon as the final boss, but you know what? I cannot get myself to write another male villain hurting beautiful maidens. So that's why I went with Keito.

If you have any suggestions to make her more powerful, then by all means. I could use more variety for her abilities. Like "spider-sense" or something. I dunno. XD

Anyways, the fight doesn't start until the next chapter. I just wanna ease it out a little, make up stuff for Keito as I go along.

"You used to be a loser, did you not?"

How did you know that?

How? I know EVERYTHING about you, Kasumi Aoi~!

Quit that! Just who am I really!?

I won't tell you until you figured it out yourself.

I don't want that! Can you at least give me a hint or something? Anything so I can at least understand what you are talking about?

There was silence. Until that voice spoke up again.

"Your pony-tail. Ever wonder why it wags on its own all the time?

Now that you mention it, I did wonder about that...

You take after your mother then. Nagisa Aoi with her darling wife, Tamao Suzumi Aoi~

Wha!? My own mother...is a Yuri too!?

"You should ask her for more information. That's all I have to say~

My mother...was a Yuri? And she had a wife? Was she Dad's replacement...? Or something else...?

"Hey, Kasumi?" Moka says as she and Kasumi walk together to the school gates.

"Yes?" The shy brunette says, turning to face the pinkette.

"During summer break, you never once visited your mother, haven't you..?" Moka gives a sad look.

Kasumi doesn't blame her. She's been having so much fun with her new friends that she had forgotten about her mother. At least she made a call before going back to the school.

*Flashback*

The phone rang three times before Kasumi heard a click.

"Aoi, residence~" The mother, Nagisa, said on the other line.

"Hi, Mom," Kasumi said softly.

"Oh, hello, dear!" Nagisa replied excitedly. "I was just thinking about calling you! How have you been? Are you going to come home soon?"

Kasumi smiled nervously. "About that, Mom. I was spending my summer break with my new friends. We had so much fun that time flew by. Oh, and I joined the Newspaper Club, too."

"Aww, well, I can forgive you as long as you are doing okay~" Nagisa said.

"Hey...Mom..." Kasumi said. "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure, sweetie. What is it?" Nagisa asked.

"What was Dad like...?" Kasumi said. "Were you...with someone else after he passed away...?"

There was a pause before Nagisa spoke again.

"Your father...your father was a business man..." Nagisa explained quietly. "He may have been busy, but we lived a wonderful life. After you were born, he had a big business meeting in another location. He took a plane there but...he died of a plane crash."

"No...way...!" Kasumi gasped, cupping a hand to her mouth.

"Even though I missed him, I couldn't just sit there, crying all the time..." Nagisa said. "So I turned to my old friend, confessed my love and both of us got married. You were very, very young during that time. Tamao-chan is overseas, creating and selling her poetry books to everyone. She is a very busy woman."

"I'm...very happy..." Kasumi said. "That my Mom is a Yuri. Because...I'm becoming a Yuri, too..."

"Oh that's great, sweetie!" Nagisa said excitedly. "Make sure to bring your special someone next time you come out here~"

"I will," Kasumi said as she turned to see the bus arrive and the girls were waving to her. "I gotta go now. Tell..."Dad"...that I love her."

"I will~" Nagisa said. "And...I will be sending you a gift to let you know I miss you so much~"

"Oh, thank you, Mom," Kasumi said. "Okay, I love you."

"I love you, too, sweetie!" Nagisa said.

*End of Flashback*

"Hey...Kasumi?" Moka says, her face close to the brunette's face. "You are spacing out a little.

"Ah! I'm fine!" Kasumi says, putting her hands up. Then, she smiles. "Next time, I'll visit my mom. And this time...I want to bring you with me."

Moka blushes and smiles in return. "Oh, Kasumi. That's so sweet of you~!"

"Kasumi-chaaaan!" Kurumu hugs the shy brunette out of nowhere. "Good morning, my sweet pea!"

"What did I tell you, Kurumu-chaaaaan!?" Moka whines.

"Boy, seems lively as ever..." Mizore says as she pops up from behind a tree.

"Fighting again?" Yukari jumps in and hugs Moka from behind.

Kasumi smiles nervously as her pony-tail wags more and more.

*Later*

The group take a look at the newly printed newspapers about the Witch's Ranch and the wonderful things about the human world.

"Putting in fashion was my idea~" Kurumu says. "Take a look!"

Kasumi, Moka, Yukari and Mizore take a look and they sweat drop at what they see.

"G-Gyarus, Kurumi-chan?" Kasumi says.

"Hey, they are finely tanned, too~" Kurumu says. "I call it "Gyaru Fun!" Hehehe! They look totally attractive to the other humans, so I thought why not? Give the other girls in our world a whole new trend~"

"Th-that's great and all, desu, but..." Yukari says, still sweat dropping.

"Well come on!" Kurumu says excitedly. "We still have enough time until classes start! Let's sell these papers now!"

"Yeah!" Yukari says. "People will love the fashion!"

The girls cheer and they take the papers outside for everyone to see.

"Look at the latest news!" Moka says. "Here, here! Girl's fashion in the human world!"

"You can look beautiful in any way!" Kurumu says. "Study them and try them out!"

Everyone takes the papers and looks at them in awe. They are very excited to see the latest news, especially since it's about the human world. They want to learn more about what it's like to be human when they graduate.

"Take a copy!" Yukari hands another person a paper. "It's for a good cause!"

Just then, Gin walks up to then with an approved smile on his face.

"I like how you are doing things," he says. "Fashion, hm~?" He takes a copy and examines it. "Ohhhh, gyarus, huh~? I like! I like it a lot~" He licks his lips as he sees a few tanned gyaru pictures on the paper.

"Ehehe...as pervy as ever, desu~" Yukari says.

Moka holds out another one. "Here, take thi-Hey!" The person who takes the paper slams it down on the ground and stomps on it with her foot.

"Pathetic," a female voice says. "The Newspaper Club? Are you serious?"

Everyone turns to look at a girl with long purple hair and wicked violet eyes. A smile appears on her face.

"As student council president, I don't recall approving such a club," The girl says.

"Who the hell are you?" Kurumu asks angrily.

"I'm Keito Watayomi," The girl replies. "And I hereby disband you all."

Gin grits his teeth at the girl. "Keito..."

The purplenette turns and grins at the wolf. "Well, glad to see you, too, Ginny~" She turns back to the group. "Anyways, I want this club not to be heard from again by tomorrow. If you don't, you will answer to me. Understand?"

"Hold on!" Kurumu steps forward. "You may be the student council president, but you don't have the right to do that!"

"I told you," Keito says. "You have to get MY approval in order to form a club. You guys didn't do that. So I want everything gone."

She flips her hair and turns to leave. Gin takes a step forward

"Keito...!" He calls, making her stop.

"I did not forget our little fun we had a while back, Ginny~" Keito says, not making eye contact. "I hope we can do it again once your club is gone~"

She proceeds to walk away. The girls look at their club president in worry.

"Who the hell does she think she is!?" Kurumu says. "Acting like she's the law!"

"There is nothing we can do about it," Gin says. "Come on. Let's gather our things."

He walks away with everyone else nodding. They decide to talk to Nekonome about the situation to see if there is anything she can do.

Teacher's Lounge*

"Nyaaa...so sorry, girls," Nekonome says sadly. "I'm afraid what the president says goes."

"Not even you can help?" Kasumi asks.

"It's true. Once approved by the student council, it's an official club," The cat lady says. "I only wanted to be a fun loving club, but I guess they saw too much."

"What I don't understand is why the student council had to wait until today to call us out," Kurumu says. "We've been a club for a month and a half and now they do this to us?"

"To be honest, I'm not sure myself," Nekonome says with a sad smile. "You should ask someone who might know Watayomi-san, if you want more information."

The girls do not have to think too hard about it. They remember Gin's reaction when he saw Keito, so it should tell them that he knows her.

Newspaper Club Room*

"She's not someone I want to talk about..." he says as they tried asking him about the president.

"What!?" Kurumu angrily says. "You perv on every woman and gush about them, yet you cannot talk about that bitch that tried to disband us!?"

"You don't understand!" Gin shouts and then takes a breath to calm down. "Look, I don't want to put all of us in any danger. Just do what she says and take these papers to the incinerator."

"But...Gin-sempai, we worked hard on these," Moka says.

"It doesn't matter," he says as he walks out the door. "It's a club decision."

He then leaves. Kurumu punches the table in anger.

"The HELL was that!? Stupid idiot!" Kurumu shouts.

"Kurumu-chan..." Kasumi says, having a worried expression on her face. "Come on, let's go before things get out of hand."

"No!" Kurumu says. "I refuse to listen to that bitch! We formed this club and look where it got us!? We became closer than before! Do you want us to split up just because of the student council president!?"

"It's not like we're going to be separated forever," Moka says. "We are still classmates, right?"

"It's not good enough!" Kurumu says. "I say we keep this club going, with or without Gin's approval!"

"Are you sure about that...?" Mizore asks.

"Of course! You, my little Snow Bunny, are going to help me out! Grab some papers! Let's get skimpy! Attract more customers!" Kurumu grabs the Snow Woman's arm and drags her outside.

The others sweat drop.

"She never gives up, does she, desu?" Yukari says.

Kasumi just looks out the door. She hopes the succubus will be doing alright, even as Gin has left the club.

*Later*

Kasumi goes to her shoe locker when she notices some kind of a note stuck to a web. She pulls it out and unfolds the paper.

"I know who you are" the note reads.

Kasumi gasps and steps back while dropping the paper. Was someone spying on her all this time? She is too scared to ask anyone, so she takes the paper and runs off to the dorms. She closes the door, panting and then checks the note again. She reads these words over and over. Did someone discover she's a human and she did not realize it?

She hears someone giggling in her head. She closes her eyes and clutches the paper to her chest as she loses herself to darkness.

"My, oh my! You're in a pickle here~"

"They realized who I am. I'm in big trouble..."

"Not unless you have realized your true self. Now then, is there a box that was delivered to your room? Your mother said she would deliver it~"

"Oh, right! Her gift! Wait, how would you know what is in it?"

"You will see for yourself. It may bring a connection between you and your mother."

"Right. I'll do that..."

Kasumi opens her eyes to notice a medium sized box next to her bed. She opens it up and it contains a red scarf, some photos and a black kimono. She picks up the photos and plops on her bed to examine them. One of the photos is of her mother and father. Another one is the same thing, only...her mother is a...kitsune? A nine-tailed beautiful fox woman? But...how?

"Wait a minute..." Kasumi says. "My father was only human. And Mom is a..." It all makes sense now. That's what the voice was trying to tell her all along. She is only half-human. And the reason why she was able to cross the barrier was because she was a yokai herself. But...her powers haven't awakened yet.

Kasumi then goes to the next photo to see her mother in a Yokai Academy uniform. She went to the same school she did before? Is that why Nagisa wanted Kasumi to enroll here? The shy girl cannot help but feel happy. Her loving mother wanted her discover who she is all on her own by enrolling at Yokai Academy and also make good friends there.

"Mom..." Kasumi says with happy tears streaming from her eyes. "I am at the same school as you did. I want to thank you for caring for me all this time..." She clutches the photo to her chest. Her mother did have to tell her in words. She just showed her the truth and that was more than enough.

*Next Day*

Kasumi walks to school that morning with Moka when they see the student council president standing there with Kurumu, Yukari and Mizore by her side. There is webbing that is wrapped around them tightly.

"Hey, what are you doing with them!?" Moka says.

"I told you what would happen if you don't obey~" Keito says. "These girls here are now my captured prey. You girls will be next soon. But first, let me get something cleared up~" She points to the brunette. "Kasumi Aoi! I suspect you as human!"

Everyone gasps at the reveal. Some students who are watching talk amongst themselves.

"Am I wrong~?" Keito puts a hand on her hip and grins. "If you are not human, then show me your true form right now. I won't report this to the chairman, however. But just to be sure~"

Kasumi freezes in fear. Her powers aren't awakened, which means she's in big trouble. She tries to will herself to speak in her mind, but the voice cannot be heard.

"What are you waiting for~?" Keito says as she holds up Kurumu. "You will end up just like her if you don't do it! Or is it really possible that you ARE human~?"

"Stop it!" Moka cries, getting in front of Kasumi. "Don't hurt Kurumu-chan and Mizore-chan! And you certainly shouldn't hurt Kasumi either!"

"Back off!" Keito says as she fires webbing from her back palm.

"Kya!" Moka's wrist gets caught in the webbing and gets thrown against a tree.

"No! Moka-san!" Kasumi cries and then turns to the president. "Please stop this! We can find a way to settle this!"

"That's right~" Keito says as she throws Kurumu to the ground and web captures Kasumi. "For interfering with the monster realm, you are hereby going to be executed tomorrow. Take her to the dungeon girls!"

"Yes, ma'am!" Three girls proceed to carry Kasumi.

Moka, who is trying to recover from the attack, looks up at Keito. "Wh-where are you taking her!?"

"To the deep part of the school~" Keito says. "Her execution will be held tomorrow morning. I will be thrilled to kill her by my own hands~"

"No! You can't! She's my precious friend!" Moka begs with tears in her eyes.

"What!?" Keito growls and stomps over to the pinkette. "You mean to tell me you befriended a human!? You disgust me!" She kicks Moka and turns away. "You all disgust me! Humans and monsters are to never coexist in the first place! They are a bane to each other's existence! They tear apart each other's lives! That's all they are good for!"

"Hey! Don't talk like that, bitch!" Kurumu says. "You don't know anything!"

"You sure as hell I do!" Keito stomps on Kurumu's head. "Now why don't you shut your mouth while you are ahead. I'm putting an end to this after I have killed your human friend. And no one will stop me. Hahahahahaha!" She lets out a hearty laugh and walks away. The rest of the students do the same.

Moka sits up, on her knees with tears streaming down her eyes. "No...Kasumi, no. My dear friend..."

"Grrrr! We gotta do something!" Kurumu says as she struggles to get free. She turns to the pinkette who is the only one who is not tied up. "Moka! Moka! Please help us! If we don't get out of this, we won't be able to save Kasumi-chan in time!"

"Save Kasumi...save Kasumi...!" Moka looks up with determined eyes. She cannot sit around all depressed. "Yes! We shall save Kasumi!" She jumps in and unties all her friends with her mighty vampire strength.

"Good work!" Kurumu says. "Now then, what should we do to get to Kasumi-chan unnoticed?"

"I think I have a plan~" A familiar voice says.

The girls turn to see Ruby standing on top of a branch with a smile.

"Ruby-onee-chan!" Yukari cheers.

"What can you do?" Mizore asks.

Ruby swoops down and holds out her wand. "I'm a witch, remember~? I can have all of us be stealthy and knock out some guards if able~"

"You're the best, Ruby-onee-chan!" Yukari says, hugging her big sister.

Moka gives a nod with eyes filled with determination. "Alright, girls! Let's work together and save Kasumi!"

"YEEEEAAAAAH!" The rest cheer with fists pumped.

A/N: I know...for a fact that a spider and wolf don't really go together. But to me, I see them fit as a HUMAN couple. Besides, in the anime and manga, Gin knows Keito, so I thought why not?

And...thanks for suggesting Kasumi's monster form. My first choice would've been a devil but then I was thinking about her pony-tail wagging and all, so I just went with that.
