Chapter 12
Monsters And Humans
I don't know what to do. I'm actually going to die. When I finally discovered my true self, this is the worst timing. I pray that I will save everyone from this utter chaos...
Kasumi sits up from her cell to see Keito walking up to her with her arms crossed and a wicked grin greets her.
"How do you like your new home, little runt~?" Keito asks.
"Please...I don't want to die..." Kasumi begs. "I have a life out there!"
"A life you yourself chose to throw away~" Keito shoots back. "Ha! You pathetic little human thinks you can just cross the barrier without any effort at all and try to play spy? What are you planning, exactly?"
"N-nothing!" Kasumi says as she walks up to the bars. "I have no intention of hurting you monsters! It was all a-"
"Liar!" Keito shouts. "Don't try and play innocent, runt! I know what you plan to do and how to achieve it! Well, guess what? You are stuck here until tomorrow morning! Everyone will see your execution and enjoy the glory of slicing a human into itsy bitsy pieces! And then...everyone else will know the true power of a monster like me when I take them down!"
"Nooooo!" Kasumi cries as Keito laughs.
Newspaper Club Room*
"Idiots!" Gin shouts as he had heard the news of Kasumi and her true identity. "Not only did you disobey me, but we let some mere human into our school!?"
"She wasn't intending to do any harm at all though!" Moka says. "Please, can you at least tell us about Keito!? You don't want to talk about her, but we're in dire straights right now!"
"Yeah!" Kurumu agrees. "If you cannot tell us about Keito, we're gonna find out for ourselves! With or without your help!"
Gin bites his lip, clenching his fist on the desk. "Keito was...my ex-girlfriend..."
"Huh!?" The girls gasp in surprise.
"She and I used to date a while back," Gin explains. "She looked like a sweet girl...until one day, I discovered her true colors. We were loving each other like any other normal couple when she tried to claim me as her prey. She told me we will be together forever if I let her do as she pleases. I knew something was wrong, so I had no choice but to dump her."
"Gin..!" Yukari says.
"I didn't know you two had that kind of relationship..." Mizore says.
"It's all in the past now," Gin says. "However, something bigger is about to happen now that Keito has captured Aoi. Not only is she going to execute her, but she has other plans. For the rest of us."
"Huh!? Are you saying she hates Monsters too!?" Kurumu asks.
"I'm not sure why, to be honest," Gin says. "But whatever it is, it's going to get nasty."
"Where is Kasumi held now?" Moka asks.
"Deep in the bowels of the school," Gin says. "They hold some kind of dungeon. The student council likes to put in those who defy the rules as punishment. I'm not sure how long those prisoners lasted."
"We better get there fast," Ruby says. "Let's go into stealth mode the moment we get to the dungeons, okay?"
"Got it!" The rest of the girls say in unison.
Gin nods with an approved smile. "Stay safe, girls. Rescue Aoi."
Meanwhile*
"Keito! Keito!" Kasumi calls while the violet haired wicked woman has her back turned. "Why are you hating on humans and monsters!? What have they done to you!?"
"It's none of your business!" Keito says. "All I'm saying is that I will destroy those who have wronged me. It's like the world is my enemy."
"I don't understand!" Kasumi says. "Why go so far as to destroy everybody? Don't you have a heart?"
"What do you know about me?" Keito slightly turns her head toward shy girl. "I didn't ask you to be my psychiatrist."
"But still...!" Kasumi whines.
"Listen, runt," Keito says. "I'm done talking to you. I got other things I have to do and my plan won't commence if I hang out with you for too long."
She then walks away, leaving Kasumi all alone. It's quiet in her cell. She is put in a single cell where there is no one around to talk to. Not that she WANTS to talk to anyone she doesn't know. She slides toward a wall and hugs her knees, burying her head in them.
"Please..." she sobs quietly.
"Please...anybody..save me...!"
Later*
Keito walks further and further down the halls until she comes into a very dark room that nobody uses. She hears some ruffling and a bit of squeaking from a gigantic ball of web she created. She smiles evilly and walks over to it to pat it.
"Only an hour left until you hatch~" she says. "Soon, everyone will suffer just like I did."
Meanwhile*
Put into stealth mode by Ruby, she and the rest of the girls sneak into the dungeons. They get past some guards who are completely unaware of their presence and separate to find Kasumi's cell. They look high and low, left and right, but cannot find her. There are shouting and banging on the bars from everyone who has been locked in their cells, some are rattling them and banging them with tin cups. The girls could care less about them and they try to focus on the search for Kasumi.
Moka is alone, searching for the shy brunette. She is down in another hallway, not knowing where to go next. She steps quietly further and further until she gets to the next room. She sees that the door is locked, but she uses her vampire strength to pry it open. It made a clinking noise, but she is sure that the rest have taken out the guards by knocking them out. Moka slowly steps inside the small room to see Kasumi in her cell all alone.
"Kasumi...!" Moka calls. "Kasumi, I'm here!"
The brunette gets startled by the voice and looks around. "Eh!? Where are you?"
"I'm here...I'm invisible thanks to Ruby, but it's just so that we can help you escape~" Moka says. She bends the bars with her vampire strength just so she can make room for Kasumi to escape. She then reaches out and takes the brunette's hand to let her know she is there.
Kasumi smiles and gets to her feet as the two of them hurry toward the entrance. And luckily, Kurumu and the others find Kasumi and they rush toward them. Ruby removes the spell and the two hurry out of the dungeons. Unfortunately, Keito is right behind them, grinning.
The girls take off and head toward the big school roof where no one can find them. At least for now. They need fresh air and respite after rescuing their human friend. Kasumi looks back and forth at the girls who have smiles on their faces.
"Everyone...you came to save me..." Kasumi smiles with tears prickling in her eyes.
"Well of course!" Kurumu says. "You're human, but you are definitely not a threat~"
"You have helped us go through our struggles very much," Ruby says. "How can we let some poor human die after giving us kindness?"
"Yeah! Ruby-onee-chan is right!" Yukari agrees.
Mizore nods in agreement. "We are...very grateful...Kasumi."
"Everyone..." Kasumi says and smiles as well. "I am...also grateful for your kindness in return. Even though I deceived you all."
Moka smiles at her dear friend. "It's alright now. The students may look at you weird now, but soon they may realize that not all humans are bad."
"I beg to differ!" Keito shouts and a burst of webbing catches Kasumi. She yanks her back and grabs hold of her
"Kasumi!" Moka cries.
"Let her go, you bitch!" Kurumu shouts.
"Not gonna happen!" Keito says. "You guys may have let out my prey, but the execution will still commence! In fact, I should do it right now! Hahahaha!"
"N-nooo!" Moka begs, clenching a fist on her chest. "Don't do it!"
"Don't!" Mizore cries.
"Yes!" Keito grins and summons one spider leg from her back and stabs Kasumi straight to the heart.
"Aaaaahhh!" Kasumi screams in agony just for a few seconds.
"Ahhhh!" Moka screams in horror.
"You...fucking...BITCH!" Kurumu yells.
"Hahahaha!" Keito laughs evilly. "Here's your precious human friend!" She tosses Kasumi toward the group and Moka quickly rushes toward the brunette. "The execution has been done. Humans and monsters co-existing is garbage. It's worthless to try and learn such things. Think of this as an example, ladies. Befriending a human is nothing!"
Moka shakes her head as she looks down at the dying brunette, heavy tears falling from her eyes. "No...Kasumi, please! Don't die on me! Kasumi...!" She sniffles. "Please...having a life without you is like having no life at all...!"
Kasumi's eyes flutter open. She speaks in a soft, raspy voice. "Moka-san...i'm so...happy. To make such great friends...with all of you...and...I'm glad...to have met you..."
"Don't talk like that...!" Moka sobs, shaking her head roughly. "You're gonna make it! You just have to!"
"One last...wish..." Kasumi says as she reaches out her hands to gently cup her dear friends cheeks. "Protect the Newspaper Club...love them...just as I...have loved you..."
Moka gasps. "N-no way. You...love me...?"
Kasumi nods. "I'm sorry I...couldn't...tell you...until...now..." She whispers the last word and grips on her rosary. With the last bit of strength, she yanks it off and her arm goes limp. The rosary clinks on the ground.
There is silence for at least 30 seconds. Moka's lip trembles and her body shakes a little. This can't be happening.
"Kasu...mi...?" Moka then screams. "NOOOOOOOOO!"
A burst of pink light surrounds Moka as she undergoes her transformation. Keito grins evilly.
"Ahhh~" she says. "The S-Class Super Monster, a Vampire. Upset that your precious friend is dead~?"
"Shut up, you bitch...!" Vampire Moka growls.
"Heh~" Keito can only chuckle, which angers Vampire Moka even more.
"I'm gonna kill you!" She charges at the purple haired wicked girl, but she evades and kicks her back to make her stumble forward. "What!? But how!?"
"Vampires are known for their super strength yes~?" Keito says. "Unfortunately you can never match against me with that kind of power~"
"What are you saying!?" Kurumu asks.
"Oh, I'll show you~" Keito says and snaps her fingers.
There is some shaking until something bursts through the roof. A very large boulder sized web ball drops in front of the group. Everyone at the bottom is terrified from the sight of that thing.
"What is that!?" Yukari cries as she hugs Ruby for protection.
"My magnum opus" Keito says as she steps toward the big web ball and pats it. "I made this egg sac after I have captured those who have defied me. They are stored in here for safe keeping."
"So...what's gonna happen if it ever hatches?" Mizore asks.
"Glad you asked," Keito says. "Once the time comes, they will attack any human or monster. I even made a portal to the human world down in the bowels of the school."
"You what!?" Ruby gasps
"My army will feast upon many who decides to defy me!" Keito says. "I will make the humans AND monsters bow down to ME!"
"No way!" Yukari cries. "You can't do something this horrible!"
"That's right!" Ruby agrees. "No one should get hurt by any means! Your purpose for killing anyone is just wrong!"
Keito grits her teeth. "You're telling me it's wrong to put those in the wrong when you ALL are in the wrong from the start!"
"What are you talking about?" Vampire Moka asks.
"All of you have no idea what I went through all my life..." Keito says and looks directly at the vampire. "That's why I plan to destroy everyone! And starting with you!"
She lashes out a spider leg to hit Vampire Moka, but the silver haired beauty evades it and rushes in to kick her. Keito blocks it with another spider leg and then another. She shoves Vampire Moka away and shoots out her webbing from the back of her palm. Both back palms actually.
"Gah! Get this...off me...!" Vampire Moka struggles to tear off the webbing, which worked and charges at the spider woman. However, it's used as a distraction to inject paralysis venom in her with her fangs as soon as the vampire is close enough.
"What the hell!? I can't move!" Vampire Moka growls.
"My venom should keep you there for a while~" Keito says as she puts her foot on the fallen Vampire. "Looks like I have taken the S-Class monster down easier than I thought~"
"You...you're gonna pay for this!" Vampire Moka growls.
"Hell yeah!" Kurumu agrees as she lashes out her talons and wings pop from her back. "Let's get her!"
"Yeah!" Everyone else gets into their battle positions when they hear the egg sac rumble.
"What the!? What now!?" Ruby says.
Keito leaps over toward the egg. "It's finally hatching! My army will burst out and kill everything!"
"Noooooo!" Yukari screams. "Why must she do this!?"
"It's gonna blow!" Kurumu says, backing away.
Keito doesn't move as the egg sac hatches. The mini-spider monsters burst out, their eyes totally empty and they run towards the girls while the others spread out and chase after everyone else. They scream in horror as they try to run away. More and more pop out.
"Nooooo!" Yukari cries.
"This can't be happening!" Kurumu says. "We're toast!"
Keito throws her arms up in the air. "Let. There. Be. CARNAGE!"
The whole army bursts out of the sac and chase after one life form after life form on sight. The girls look around in a panic.
"We have to do something!" Mizore says. "Or else they will reach the portal and attack the human world!"
"Yukari-chan and I will secure the portal!" Ruby says. "Kurumu and Mizore will handle Keito!"
"What about the army!?" Kurumu asks
"We'll do our best to take them out too!" Ruby spreads her six wings and carries Yukari. "Hurry!"
"Oh no you don't!" Keito shoots her webbing at them, but Ruby deflects it with a magic barrier and flies straight to the bottom of the school.
Yukari and Ruby hold out their wands to summon blasts that take out the monsters instantly, saving the students from the bloodlust. They turn and wink at each other as they rush further down toward the large hallway where the dungeons are. They see the army pack and headed toward the portal at the very end of the building. They are almost there. The two witches hold out their wands and press them together to combine their powers.
"Desu!" Yukari cheers.
The wands glow brightly, getting the army's attention and they turn and growl at the two witches. The glow gets brighter and brighter and then, they summon a very large ball of light with lightning coming out of it. They point their wands forward and the large lightning ball hits each and single one of the spider monsters with the lightning striking as an addition. Pretty soon, they are all dead and vanishes into thin air, allowing the two witches to move forward.
Meanwhile*
Kurumu and Mizore look back at the dead Kasumi and then at the paralyzed Vampire Moka.
"You two are at a complete disadvantage~" Keito chuckles. "My webs and paralysis venom shall take care of you in a flash~"
"No way!" Mizore fires ice shards from her hand, but the spider woman evades it, jumping at a great height and then lands behind the snow woman.
"Peek-a-boo~" Keito lashes out two spider legs, performing a strong uppercut and sending Mizore flying. She shoots out her web to yank Mizore back and perform a roundhouse, sending Mizore crashing into the ground.
"Mizore!" Kurumu cries. She growls and turns to the spider woman. "You'll pay for that!" She charges at Keito and tries to slash her with her talons.
"Pathetic!" Keito jumps back to evade and unleashes the rest of her spider legs from her back to try and stab Kurumu.
The succubus blocks it with her bat wings and flies in the air. Keito grins and forms her webs into balls and chucks them at Kurumu. However, the succubus flashes purple from her eyes and points it directly at Keito.
"What the!? No...what is this!?" Keito is blinded by the light and she shuts her eyes tightly.
When she opens them a minute later, she finds herself in her own home.
"Wha...I'm home?" She starts to look around, finding everything familiar. But when she gets to her room, she gasps in horror at a complete mess she is seeing. A torn bed, books and accessories all over the place. Then there is shouting coming from another room.
"A monster! We are dealing with a monster!"
"I cannot believe we have a daughter who is worse than before!"
Keito's eyes shake uncontrollably. No...not this.
"Why...? Why is this happening now..?" Keito backs away as the scenery changes into Yokai Academy.
"Ugh! It's the freak again!"
"I heard she was once a human before. Got abused by her family. So she wanted to get even by sneaking into the school science room to inject herself with spider venom to kill them. But that resulted in her being sent to Yokai Academy when the chairman found her."
"Yeah. She's just a nobody who isn't needed by anyone~"
"Keito Watayomi, the freak!"
"A freak show!"
"Poor useless freak!"
"Stop...stop it!" Keito cries. "Stop it all!"
The illusion stops and Kurumu and Mizore appear in front of her.
"What...just happened?" Mizore asks.
"It seems that Keito's past showed up as I put an illusion spell on her," Kurumu says.
"What have you done...!?" Keito growls. "You made me think about this...madness that was put upon me! Humans and monsters...all of them!" She lashes out her spider legs. "YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR PLAYING WITH MY MIND!!"
"Look out!" Kurumu shouts as she and Mizore split up to evade the spider woman's attack.
Vampire Moka recovers from the paralysis and starts to slowly stand up. She looks over at Kasumi, who is lying on the ground. She hurries over and gently turns her facing up.
"Kasumi..." Vampire Moka says. She picks up the brunette's head a she leans in. "I'm sorry..." She leans down and presses her lips against hers, just for a second before pulling away. "Moka loves you. She needs you...just like I need you here. Don't give up." She turns around and charges in to join Mizore and Kurumu.
"Moka!" Kurumu gasps.
"I'm better now!" Vampire Moka says. "Now let's kick some spider ass!"
"That's the spirit!" Mizore cheers.
The three girls charge forward and begin fighting the spider woman. Keito grins as she blocks each and every kick Vampire Moka delivers and uses two of her spider legs to shove her back. Kurumu goes in and slashes her back and forth and then up and down, making Keito fly up and Mizore delivers an ice ball, freezing her in place. Vampire Moka performs a roundhouse, kicking Keito toward a wall, breaking the ice. But Keito only chuckles.
"Heh, heh, heh...is that the best you got...?" The violet haired spider monster gets to her feet. "This is child's play!"
"What the!?" Vampire Moka says. "I swear my kick should've crippled you at least!"
"When I injected my paralysis venom into you, it took away half of your strength~!" Keito says. "I prove to be more powerful than you, Moka Akashiya!"
Vampire Moka grits her teeth. But Kurumu and Mizore put their hands on her shoulders with a nod and a smile.
"We're with you, Moka," Kurumu says.
"We are not giving up. If we work together, we can take her down," Mizore says.
Vampire Moka closes her eyes and smiles. "You two..."
"Bring it on!" Keito says.
The three girls charge and they begin to attack.
Meanwhile, Kasumi lies there and can somehow get into her subconscious.
"I'm alive...? But how...?
"You're just severely wounded. Apparently that stab wasn't in the right direction."
"So...what now...? I can't go on like this...
"Yes you can. Because you want to save your friends, right?"
"Yes...I want to save my friends. But how...?"
"Now is the time for us to bond~"
"Ehhhh...!?"
A light flashes and a glowing figure appears. A kitsune with long, beautiful blonde hair, wearing a black short, revealing kimono with a red skirt around her waist and black thigh high boots on her feet. The kitsune extends her hand toward her.
"You and I will finally bond. Awaken your true self. Because you want to help those in need."
"Yes...I will...I will save my friends!"
Kasumi reaches out and gently grips onto the glowing figure's. They then intertwine hands and lean in closer.
*Meanwhile*
Kurumu and Mizore get sent flying toward the wall. Vampire Moka once again tries to hit Keito with a series of kicks. Keito dodges and blocks them all and retaliates by punching and kicking Vampire Moka and then uses her spider legs to hit her with as well. Vampire Moka blocks one of them, but gets shoved away. She slides on her feet and blocks another kick and then Vampire Moka performs a roundhouse. Keito gets knocked back by it, but also holds her ground. The spider woman then charges, using her spider legs to swing at her opponent. Vampire Moka blocks them left and right, but Keito quickly outstretches her arm to grab the vampire's neck.
"Ack!" Vampire Moka gets lifted in the air.
"Hahaha! Got you now!" Keito laughs and squeezes harder. "Look at you. The strongest monster is now a weakling. It's time to make a choice. Bow to me or perish~"
"Go to...hell...!" Vampire Moka breathes.
Keito grins wider. "Very well then. Death it shall be~"
However, just before Keito can use her spider leg to stab the life out of the vampire, a kunai with a spear attached shoots out and cuts that said leg off.
"Gyaaaaahhh!" Keito screams in pain, letting go of Vampire Moka and stepping back.
"What!?" Kurumu gasps as she and Mizore recover. "Where did that come from!?"
The others look toward a yellow glowing figure. Nine tails appear behind her and blonde hair flows gracefully. When the glowing disappears, a beautiful kitsune stands before them.
"Who...is that?" Mizore asks.
"I don't recognize her at all," Kurumu says.
However, Vampire Moka can. "Kasumi..." she says softly.
It is indeed Kasumi. Her awakened form can now be seen and there is much to do. She turns to face her opponent.
"So you weren't human after all!?" Keito says. "Guh! You must be a hybrid then! No wonder you looked so human like before!"
The kitsune closes her eyes and a katana appears on when she holds out her right hand. She draws it and points to her opponent.
"The monster has come...to take you down..." Kasumi says.
"You have no idea what a TRUE monster is, Kasumi Aoi!" Keito growls as she grows her cut leg into a new one and slams it on the ground. "Prepare to join your friends, freak!"
The two charge at each other. Kasumi swings her sword left and right, blocking and cutting away her opponent's spider legs, only for them to grow back and try to swing at her. Kasumi blocks them all and cuts them away again. Keito grows them back all over again and thrust them forward to stab her at least 3 times all at once. Kasumi blocks those, too. However, one leg knocks out Kasumi's sword up high and the spider woman shoulder tackles her as an advantage. Kasumi flips to her feet and uses one of her tails to grab the sword and charge at her. The two swing left and right, clashing sword with spider leg and fist with fist and kicks with kicks. They are like unstoppable machines.
"Look at them go!" Kurumu says. "Is that really Kasumi-chan!?"
"She is...so beautiful...!" Mizore swoons.
Keito grabs the sword and yanks it out of Kasumi's tail and tosses it aside. She then tackles her to the ground and tries to stab her with her spider legs. But Kasumi blocks them and tries to push her away. Keito grits her teeth as she struggles to push her legs down.
"Do you want to know...how I spent my endless days...!?" She growls.
Kasumi kicks her away and flips to her feet. Keito uses her legs to support her and steps toward her.
"I spent them...thinking about how everyone treats me...!" Keito continues. "While all of you have no care in the world!"
The two charge at each other again, but Keito gets to Kasumi first and tackles her to the ground once more. She grabs her and tosses her about 10 feet away, sending her tumbling to the ground. Keito stomps toward her.
"You don't know what it's like..." Keito growls. "To be someone...who is abused by Mother and Father!" She uses her webbing to chokehold Kitsune Kasumi.
"No!" Kurumu cries.
Kasumi struggles a bit before grabbing her opponent from behind and slams her down on the ground. Keito shoots out her webbing to grab a club to hit her with, but Kasumi takes that away and tries to chokehold her with that. Keito uses her spider legs to jump up and she grabs Kasumi to toss her to the ground again. Keito jumps and lands in front of Kitsune Kasumi.
"No one cared. NO ONE!" Keito stomps her spider leg on the ground in frustration. "Nobody cared that I was a scared little girl. That's why I want to put an end to this..." she grabs Kasumi and lifts her up. "By killing everyone who has wronged me and make the rest bow to me!"
"How about you shut the hell up while you are ahead?" Vampire Moka says.
"Wha!?" Keito turns and gets hit with a strong roundhouse, making her let go of Kasumi and fly straight into the wall.
Kasumi drops to her knees as Vampire Moka steps up and holds out her hand.
"Need some assistance?" The silver haired beauty says.
Kitsune Kasumi nods and gently grips her hand to get to her feet. Keito jumps to her own feet.
"I will destroy you both!" Keito roars.
Vampire Moka and Kitsune Kasumi turn and give each other a wink. The silver haired beauty jumps high in the air while Kasumi retrieves her katana that is right next to her with her tail and tosses it in her hand. She closes her eyes as yellow lightning appears on the blade.
"Time for a shock!" Kitsune Kasumi says. She swings her sword diagonally upward and lightning shoots from the blade to blast Keito.
The spider woman screams in pain as the electricity surges through her body, paralyzing her.
"It's also time..." Vampire Moka does a front flip and then extends her right foot. "TO KNOW YOUR PLACE!"
She kicks Keito so hard that it makes a large crater. The silver haired vampire jumps away and Kitsune Kasumi gives a fist pump.
"Yeah~!" She cheers.
Vampire Moka retrieves her rosary and smiles as she puts the seal back on. She returns to her normal self and starts to fall back. Kitsune Kasumi rushes in and catches her. Kurumu and Mizore rush in shortly after.
"Take care of Moka-san..." Kitsune Kasumi says. "I have something to take care of."
"W-wait..." Kurumu tries to reach out, but the kitsune is already heading toward the crater.
Keito's spider legs is gone, which means she returned to her human form. She then sees a sword being drawn and pointed at her. A yellow aura surrounds the kitsune.
"I'm going to...kill everyone...with or without the monster...Aoi..." She grunts. She then relents and looks at the kitsune with sad eyes. "Do you know...what I have really wanted...?"
"What is it, Keito...?" Kitsune Kasumi asks.
"Tried to tell you, but you won't listen..." Keito says.
"I'm listening now..." Kasumi says.
"I wanted to make at least one real friend...like you..." Keito says with tears falling from her eyes.
Kasumi gives her an apologetic expression. Even though she feels sorry for the spider woman, the crime she has committed cannot be left alone. "I'm sorry, Keito..."
The violet haired woman sniffles and lowers her head to accept her fate. However the sword clangs on the ground and the kitsune kneels down before her.
"Instead...you are going to get help..." Kasumi says softly. "Your mind is messed up and your trust for people has gone bad. So...if you are willing...I will assist you on getting some help from people...to heal you."
Keito stares at the girl who reverts back to her original self. "You're...serious? I tried to kill you and the rest. I don't deserve forgiveness..."
"I'm not a killer like you," Kasumi says. "Even if I wanted to, I will not go down a dark path. I'm sure the help you need will get you to realize what you've done...and think about how to be a more positive person..."
Keito nods in understanding and cries softly, hanging her head low.
Next Day*
Keito is taken to a hospital for rehab and mental help. The school is being repaired at the moment, but classes can still continue. Everyone is safe from Keito's wrath and continue with their daily lives.
As for Kasumi, now being a kitsune, she continues to go to Yokai Academy with all her friends surrounding her, including Moka. And speaking of Moka, Kasumi has something special to tell her.
So after school, Moka is told to meet at the forest where they first met from colliding with each other. The cute pinkette waits in the middle of the forest, tapping her foot when she hears some footsteps coming toward her.
"Moka-san...?" Kasumi says. She shyly presents some pink roses to her. "These are...for you..."
Moka gasps happily and rushes in to take them. "Oh, thank you, Kasumi! These are lovely~!" She takes a whiff and hums at the lovely smell.
"And...there's also something else..." Kasumi walks close to her and wraps her arms around her waist. "I'm sure you heard me say it yesterday. But I want to say it again now that I'm alive." She swallows hard. "I love you...Moka-san. Will you...go out with me?"
Moka gasps with happy tears in her eyes. She tosses the roses aside and wraps her arms around Kasumi's neck. "Of course! I love you, too, Kasumi! I love you so much!"
Kasumi smiles in return, her pony-tail wagging with excitement. With light wind blowing, making their hair sway gracefully, they lean in and share a passionate, loving kiss. Kasumi feels that this is familiar though. Like she got that kiss from...Moka's vampire self? Are Moka and her Vampire self really the same people? It doesn't matter. She wants to enjoy this loving moment with the one she wants to be with for the rest of her life.

And since you all are begging for it, I will indeed write a "Season 2" story for it. But...here's what I need a little assistance on. Since "Season 2" in the anime focuses on mostly Moka, I will most likely go from that. As for the manga, I have actually read the last few chapters involving Moka's Mama, Akasha Bloodriver. However, there is so much to read and understand that I don't want to take it all and apply it to my story. So if you want to give me a little info that will help me with my second season story, I would appreciate it. Though I am mostly interested in Akasha, so...I will most likely write about her.
