A/N- Cam/Vala
Comfort zone
Cameron woke up on a cold, hard metal floor. A bright light was above him, making it hard to see, he sat up and looked around.
What he saw shocked him to his very core, all of SG-1 dead or dieing, "Sam?" Cameron whispered as he looked around, his eyes eventually found her.
She was on her side, facing away from him. He went over to Sam and turned her over so she was laying on her back. Her face was bruised and the stab wounds to her stomach showed that she was dead.
He closed his eyes in grief before moving on to daniel. He was on his stomach. He had a spike in his back that looks as if it went right through him, but he was still breathing, "Daniel, you're still alive?" Cameron asked, not feeling to sure that he will live for much longer, "Yeah, I'm……I'm still he….here." Daniel said as he coughed up blood, "Cam….Cameron, please…..bury me ne….next to janet." Daniel as he let his last breath go.
"Daniel!" Cameron sighed in frustration, two members of his team dead, then he started looking for Teal'c.
Cameron saw a knocked down pillar in the distance and underneath it was Teal'c. Cameron didn't bother checking hi knew he was dead. Then, he heard a whimper of pain from behind him, he recognized it………it was Vala.
He went to her side and noticed she was shaking and sweating, her wound was infected, he kneeled by her and took her hand in his, "Vala?" He whispered, "Ca….Cameron? You are still li…live, I…I knew it." Vala says as she winces in pain, "You have to hang on, please, I can't lose you." Cameron said as he stroked her cheek.
"Can't, it, hu….hurts too much, please let me go." Vala pleaded but Cameron shook his head, "I won't lose you, please Vala, I love you." Cameron says and he hears Vala gasp, "If you love me then let me go." Vala says and Cameron nodded his head, and in her final words, "I love you too." And then she was gone…..

Cameron woke up in a cold sweat, "Cameron, what's wrong?" A voice came from behind him, "Nothing Vala, go back to sleep." He said, but she shook her head and put her arms around him, "Baby, did you have that dream again?" She asked him and he nodded his head. "It's ok, I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere, your comfort zone is right here and I love you." She said and he kissed her.
Cameron laid back down beside her and slept peacefully in her arms and never had that nightmare again.
