Eleanor slowly awoke. "Lloyd?" She asked, opening her eyes and looking around. "Lloyd?" She called, before she looked down at her hands to see her wrists were bound with chains.

"Ellie!" Lloyd called from the outside her cell, her door rattled with keys before the door opened and Lloyd rushed in. "Are you ok?" He asked, kneeling by her and pulling her into him so she could lean on him.

"I think so." She said, she quickly gasped when she saw Grimfax.

"Ellie, it's ok. He's gonna help us save Zane." Lloyd said gently.

Grimfax held out the keys to the chains. "I am Grimfax." He introduced as Lloyd took the keys and unlocked Eleanor's chains.

"Why are you helping us?" She asked as she rubbed her left hand, then her right hand, and Lloyd helped her stand.

"I overheard your plea towards the Ice Emperor," Grimfax explained. "You said he was once a good man."

"Zane is a good man!" Eleanor said. "He got corrupted by that staff he's holding."

"I wouldn't be surprised if Vex also played a part." Lloyd muttered, folding his arms.

"We must hurry." Grimfax told them.

Grimfax lead the way through the halls of the castle. "Which way is the thorne room?" Lloyd asked.

"To the left." Grimfax told them. "But we can't go there yet."

"Why not?" Eleanor asked.

"There's something we have to take care of first." Grimfax answered, just before they hear a sound. "Hide!" The group quickly head up to the rafters as four Blizzard Samurai come into view. Kataru accidentally knocks some snow onto the floor behind the Samurai, the Warriors quickly turn around, but not seeing anything they turn back around and move around.

The Resistance jump down slightly. "I'm sorry." Kataru whispered.

Eleanor shook her head. "Don't be." She whispers back.

"Come on." Lloyd whispered, and they quickly hurry down the hall.

"Vex has a corrupted shard of ice." Grimfax explained as they hurry down the different hallway. "It is all seeing. So long as he possesses that, there is no hope of victory. We must destroy it first."

"Oh, I want one." Eleanor said.

"How do you know he isn't watching us right now?" Lloyd asked.

"If he were, we would already be caught." Grimfax answered.

"We better hurry then." Kataru said.

"Which way?" Lloyd asks, Grimfax answers by pointing and they run off in that direction.

Still a little feet away from the Ice Castle, the Land Bounty hurries towards the building. Cole is napping, while Jay is showing their Yeti friend the video game, that the blue Ninja is currently playing.

"This is a Milton Dyer classic, Krag." The lightning Ninja explained. "So pay attention! We're talking Golden Age here. It's called Lava Zombies, and you need major skills to beat this game, which I, heh, luckily have. Watch and learn."

Krag got excited and pounds his chest impatiently as he watched Jay, he growls before he pushes Jay onto the floor and start playing himself.

"No, n—you gotta wait until I lose! It's my turn!" Jay exclaimed as he jumps to his feet and tried to push the yeti away. "You gotta wait, Krag!"

Cole lifts his upper body up after waking up from Jay's yelling. "I don't think he understands, Jay." The earth Ninja said.

Jay turns to him. "Well, tell him it's my turn!" He complains.

Soon the Yeti and the human start to push each other from the game.

Cole sighed and rolled his eyes. "I don't speak Krag and can I point out you're trying to reason with an eight-foot tall creature who could pancake you with his foot?"

Jay's eyes grew large as he realized this. He turns to Krag with a new fear flowing down his spin. "Good point. Your turn, Krag."

Very happy with this, Krag grabs Jay and throws him behind him, before playing the game.

Cole smiles with a shake of his head and lies back down.

At the front of vehicle, Kai sat next to his sister, William standing behind him.

"Do either of you want to tell me what's going on?" Kai asked looking at Nya, then to William.

"Will thinks you're too scary to be around." Nya continued to drive, her eyes never leaving the windshield.

"What?!" Kai turns to William, who winces a little.

"Ok!" The wind Ninja admits. "Fine! Kai … your sister's great! But you were this close to killing me when I mentioned a niece or nephew. I was playing around!"

Kai folds his arms. "You surprised me is all. And another thing, you should put a ring on my sister first, you buffoon!" He turns and grabs the front of William's gi, he yelped.

"Kai!" Nya yelled, taking a glance at him. "This is what he's talking about!" She turns back to the windshield.

"You did ask me for permission about dating my sister." Kai let go of William, who sighed in relief. "I do admire that." He turns back around to face the front again.

"How do I fix this Kai?" William asked. "I miss your sister. And I'm sorry for not being around more." He said senserly.

"I'm sorry too." Kai apologized. "I raised my sister for years, now it's still hard to let her go. So when she hurts, I want to beat the snot out of whoever hurt her."

"I'm not that kind, Kai." William said. "Yes, Morro was suppose to be my grandfather, actually he is. But."- He started to ramble.

"Will!" Nya snapped, and he winced.

"Point is! Your sister is just as scary as you." William said, looking at Kai. "And with your permission, Kai. I would like to date your sister - again."

Kai stared at him, then smiled. "You don't need my permission anymore." His smile faded. "But do it again, and I will not hesitate!"

William saluted. "Yes sir!"

"And Nya needs to get back into shape." Kai added.

"Excuse me!?" Nya demanded. "Says you!" She reaches over and slugs him in the arm.

"Ow!" Kai whines, rubbing his arm, before he hears a beeping, and his attention is turned to the radar. "What's that?" He asks as something comes up on radar.

William leaned forward, squinting his eyes. "There's something up there." He said just as something up ahead came into view. "Some sort of structure." He reaches down and pulls out some binoculars.

"I don't think you need those." Kai said as the structure came more into view. "That's it! We're here!"

"The Ice Emperor's Castle." William said, just holding the binoculars now.

Kai turns towards the back. "Guys! We're close, better buckle up."

As Jay hurries to the seats. Cole tried to get Krag off the video game.

"Krag, you gotta stop playing. We gotta get in our seats." The black Ninja told the creature. Krag just growls and continues to play. "Don't you growl at me! That is unacceptable! You want me to revoke your video game privileges!" Cole threatened, using the dad tone.

Krag looked at Cole and whimpers as he shakes his head rapidly.

"Ok then." Cole points to the bench. Krag growls to himself before sitting down.

As the Land Bounty towards the castle, it passes a mountain and a pile of snow falls to reveal a dragon, waking the beast.

Nya suddenly sees something on the radar. "We got something on radar." She warns everyone. "Something big, moving fast."

"What? What is it?" Kai asked.

"Well, it isn't a welcoming committee."

"I'm on it." Kai gets out of his seat and hurries outside of the Land Bounty, where the cannon is. He looks around and sees the dragon. "INCOMING!" He tries to aim and fire the cannon at the dragon, one of the blasts hits the dragon who comes back and heading straight for them. Kai fired the cannon again, but missed when the Land Bounty swerved to avoid the icy dragon.

The dragon then breathed out ice, half of the Land Bounty became glazed over with ice.

"Kai! Do something!" Nya calls to her brother.

Kai grunted as he keeps firing the cannon. "I'm trying! It's not doing anything. Hai-yah!" He was getting irritated and really angry at this point.

The dragon whips in front of the Land Bounty, heading straight for Kai.

"Ahh!" Kai jumps out of the way, just in time as the dragon rips off the cannon.

"What was that? What happened? Did you get him?!" Nya asked as the Land Bounty screamed out warnings.

"Uh, not exactly." Kai answered, watching as the dragon flew off in the distance and drops the cannon on the ice, breaking the cannon in half and ice under it. The dragon then dives back towards the Bounty, with Kai as his target this time.

Kai jumps back into the Land Bounty, and hurries back to his seat next to his sister. The dragon then ripped another part of the Land Bounty off and threw it back onto the vehicle.

"Ahhh!" The Ninja scream.

"Aah! Dragon, dragon, dragon!" Jay screamed.

The dragon continued to try to freeze the rest of the Land Bounty, and Nya continues to dodge all the blasts. Pressing hard on the gas as she drove on the frozen water, and sense the Land Bounty didn't have any brakes, Nya heads straight for a snow mountain and it was a perfect angle as a ramp.

"Nya, what are you doing!?" William asked as Cole's teeth chattered, Jay hugging him, and Kai covering his eyes.

"Hang on everyone!" Nya yells, accelerating the gas, driving the Land Bounty up the snowy ramp and into the dragon while in mid air just as it conjured another ball of ice, but the Bounty cuts the blow as they crash.

Everyone who was not in a seatbelt, got tossed and thrown around like rag dolls.

Finally the Bounty rolled to a stop on top of the dragon.

"What a wild ride." William groans out as Kai sat on his back, with Cole lying on top of the fire Ninja.

"We should've warn seatbelts." Jay groaned from the floor.

"Everyone ok?" Kai asked.

"Can this thing stay fixed for like a day?" Cole complained as he got off Kai.

"Nya!" William ran to the driver's seat, where she was shaking in frozen fear, she's clutching the wheel very tightly. "Nya. It's ok." He placed a gently hand on her shoulder. "You can let go now."

Carefully and slowly, Nya turns to him. "Th - the dragon?"

"Got him." William smiled. "It's over."

The water Ninja sighs in relief before she rips her hands off the handles of the steering wheel.

Back at the castle. Grimfax continued to guide Lloyd, Eleanor, and Kataru through the halls as they search for Vex's crystal.

"Are you sure he's not watching us?" Eleanor asked.

"Like I said, if he were watching the crystal, we wouldn't have gotten this far." Grimfax told her, just before they round a corner to see Vex and Blizzard Samurai.

"You were saying?" Vex laughed evilly. Kataru instantly transforms into his bear form, and Grimfax pulls out his axe.

"Run!" Grimfax tells Lloyd and Eleanor.

"What?" Eleanor blinked.

"We have to stay together a."-

"No!" Grimfax cuts him off as he turns to the blonde. "You must awaken your friend or all is lost! We will hold them back as long as we can!" He pushes Lloyd in a direction, then runs towards the Blizzard Samurai.

"Come on Lloyd!" Eleanor grabbed his arm and pulled him. "We need to find Zane!"

"Right." He nods. "They got this."

The two quickly head off towards the throne room.

But suddenly something grabs Eleanor's right ankle and tugs, forcing her to fall to the floor, just as Lloyd disappears around a corner.

She turns to see Vex walking up to her. "Once your little invasion is over, your friends will pay a great price." He reaches down and takes her hands. "You can conjure crystals? Very interesting."

Eleanor snatches her hands away. "You're a creep!"

"I could give you anything you wish." He tried to take her hand again, she jerked her hand away.

"No way!" Eleanor yelled. "I have everything I want. I am happily married!"

Suddenly Kataru's bear form, charged at Vex and slammed into him, knocking him down. But suddenly Kataru's tackled by the Blizzard Samurai and chained to the floor.

"Let go of me!" Eleanor yelled when Vex grabbed her. "You're going to regret this!" She yells as she struggled. "Once and for all this is going down!" She elbows Vex in the stomach, when he lets go of her, she runs after Lloyd.
