Cole continues to fight off Krag, a Yeti. Both of them throwing punches, finally the yeti just picks him up and runs through the snow, using Cole as a shied before throwing him into a pile of snow. With his super strength Cole managed to kick Krag off of him and get out of the pile of snow with ease. The Ninja wasn't even hurt at all.

"That's right Krag! I'm sure you've terrorized all kinds of travelers, you've never faced a Ninja before!" Cole leaps into the air, going into Spinjitzu. "Ninja go!" After landing, the yeti is thrown back into the mountain from the strong force.

"I came here to find the Traveler's Tree! And no overgrown ape is gonna stop me! And no ape like you is going to stop me from seeing my young daughter!" Cole blocks some of Krag's attacks.

Cole punches the yeti into the mountain again, Krag rips off a tree branch just as Cole came running at him again, Krag hits Cole and the black Ninja fell backyards, unconscious, and a pile of snow fell on top of him. Krag roars in victory.

Jay, William and Nya are climbing up the mountain, looking for Cole, as Kai stayed behind to protect the village. The three jump startled when they hear Krag's victory roar.

"That has to be the creature those villagers call Krag." Nya said.

"Yeah, that's a bad sound. Every time I hear a sound like that, it's big with lots of teeth!" Jay replied.

"And I'm betting Cole got himself into some serious trouble." William added.

"This is partly our fault, you know." Nya tells the boys.

"Oh! I had no idea how sensitive he was about losing the Traveler's Tea!" Jay threw his arms into the air.

"Even if he was sensitive, he shouldn't have run off by himself!" Nya replied.

"We're too far from home, Nya." William reminded. "He has a kid back home."

"I know." The water Ninja sighs. "He could've at least told us, so one of us could've gone with him."

"You guys think, that, if Eleanor was still in the village, Cole would've stayed in the village?" Jay asked, shivering when a cold gust of wind hit him.

"Ellie doesn't know that Cole lost the Traveler's Tea, yes, he would admit that he lost the tea to her. So." Nya started, then shrugged. "She definitely would've tried to talk him out of it."

"Oh, I hope we aren't too late!" Jay cried, now thinking about Lily and that Eleanor and Lloyd are nowhere to be found. "Why didn't we bring weapons?!"

After a long time, Cole slowly awoke and looks around to find he's in an unknown cave, he gasps jumping up from the very cold hard floor. "Oh no!" He turns to make his escape, but stops suddenly when he hears roaring. Seeing the shadow of the yeti coming back into the cave.

With not much time, Cole turns to hide behind some rocks. Krag came into view to where Cole had been at. The black Ninja ran at the creature, jumping into the air and kicking the yeti into one of the walls of the cave. Cole then began to run away, but slid on the ice and hit his head on a big icy stalactite.

Krag charges at him, Cole activates his Earth Punch, punching the ground in front of him, causing some stalagmites of break and fall on the yeti, trapping the animal.

Cole turns and runs up the stairs, into another section of the cave. Finding very big bunk beds. "What? Bunk beds?" He looked them over, they were completely bare and empty, incept for one. "How many Krag's are there?" He inspects all of them. "Huh. I guess just one."

The Earth Ninja walked over to an empty corner of the room, finding a door, but there was a big pile of dirt, Cole looked closer to see flowers and he realized it wasn't just a pile of dirt. "Burial mounds?" He said in realization. "He's the last one." He hears Krag's groan and tries to walk away. "Ugh. Don't do it. Just keeping going." He tries to talk himself into it. "That's the smart thing. Keep going."

Krag let out another pained cry.

"Oh, darn it, Cole!" Cole exclaimed, he turns to head back to the yeti. Who struggled under the trap he's in. He looked up to see Cole coming back and with his eyes, the yeti looks at the branch still in his hand.

Cole then notices that the animal is trying to communicate by pointing to his own mouth.

Cole picks one of berries. "Food?" He asks the yeti. "You brought these for me? To eat?"

Krag nods.

Cole looks at the berry and winces, before he pretends to eat by putting it in his back pouch. He's done that when Lily tried to make him a bowl of soup with gunny bears mixed with cat treats and milk. Jay thought it was hilarious til Lily gave him the same bowl. Eleanor, Lloyd, Kai, William and Nya all broke out into laughter.

Cole looked at the yeti, who had hope in his eyes instead of mean and evil.

"You didn't always live alone in this cave, did you?" The Ninja asked. "There were more of your kind?" Krag nods. "Your family?" Krag sadly nods. "What happened to them?"

Krag turns and growls at a weapon laying in the corner of the cave. Cole walked over to it, picking it up a crossbow. One of the main weapons that the Ice Samurai uses.

"Ice Samurai?" Cole frowns at the weapon. This realm is filled with those guys.

Krag growls in response.

Cole turns to him. "And now you're all alone, huh? Boy, did I misread things." He throws the crossbow onto the ground. "I thought you were attacking me, but you weren't, were you?" He asked as he recalls what really happened on the mountain. "You were saving me! The bridge was breaking and you saved me! And then, I attacked you, and you were just defending yourself, weren't you?" Cole felt bad now. "Oh, wow, way to go Brookestone."

Activating his Earth Punch, Cole lifts the icicle up and throws it off the yeti. Krag was able to stand, not looking so happy.

"Friends?" Cole asked, holding out a hand to shake. Krag grabs him squeezed the Ninja extremely tightly in a choking hug. "Ahh! Whoa. Oh-ok. I … can't breath." His voice started to give out from the lack of air. "Put friend down?" Krag excitedly jumps jumps from foot to foot as he twirls the Ninja around. "Whoa! Oh, boy! Whoa! Getting nauseous. Starting to black out. I'll be joining you real soon, mom!"

Finally, the yeti puts his human friend back down, allowing Cole to stumble over to a nearby stalactite.

"Oh, ok. Listen." Cole leaned on the icicle. "D-don't do that again, ok? No more squeezing. Or spinning. A-and, listen. This is great and all, but I didn't come all the way out here just to make a new friend. I'm looking for a tree. A special tree. Do you know where it is?"

Krag scratches his head in confusion, so Cole picks up the tree branch. "The Traveler's Tree." He starts carefully. "Do you know where it is?"

Krag smiles happily as he now understands, before running out of the cave.

"Hey, wait up! Where are you going?" Cole chases after him. He started to lose sight of the yeti when the animal began jumping up the mountain. Yes, Cole is a mountain climber and that's how he first met Master Wu, but Cole couldn't climb that fast.

After a minute, Krag returns and picks up Cole, placing his new human friend on his back.

"Whoa! Ok, whoa, whoa. J-j-just take it easy!" Cole cried as the yeti started to climb up the mountain again.

Finally, getting to the top of the mountain, Cole got off the animal as he was in complete awe at the beauty of the Traveler's Tree as it's in riches with with a light as it stood tall and proud, no snow anywhere around or under the tree. "The Traveler's Tree."

Nya, William and Jay finally made it to Krag's cave.

"This is where those creepy footprints lead." Jay said nervously as they enter the cave.

Nya walks further in and takes a closer look, seeing the bunk beds. "It's definitely the creature's home." She turns to them. "Look."

The boys come closer, with a scared Jay hugging William's arm as he tried to hide behind the wind Ninja.

"That's a really big bed." William comments, making Jay gasp.

"How big do you think Krag is!?" The lightning Ninja asked, now scaring himself as Nya investigates a footprint.

"Pretty big."

Jay looks down at the footprint and steps into it, before nervously walking out. "I wish Kai was here." He said as the three began to move towards the entrance.

"Someone had to stay and protect the village." William replied.

"Yeah, but who's protecting us?" Jay asked.

Nya puts a hand on William's chest, who turns to see what she was looking at, seeing Krag's shadow coming closer to them, William grabs Jay's arm who tries to not give a startled yelp.

"We should've brought weapons!" Jay cried.

Then there was another shadow that looked like a limp person in Krag's hands.

Nya gasps. "We're too late."

"C-C-Cole." Jay stuttered through his tears.

Nya grabs William, who grabs Jay and the hide behind a nearby rock.

"That monster." William said.

"Eleanor is gonna be devastated and heartbroken!" Nya said.

"And he's gonna pay for that." Jay charged up his Lightning. "On three. One."

"Two." William conjured his Wind.

"Three!" Nya conjured her Water.

The three jump out of hiding and attack the yeti. Until the animal grabs Nya.

"Nya!" William cried. Krag threw Nya at William, knocking them down.

In anger Jay shoots a wave of lighting at the yeti, who ducked and it accidentally hits Cole.

The three kept trying to fight the animal, but Cole suddenly jumped in front of Krag.

"No! Stop! Don't hurt him!"

"Cole!" Nya cried, the three Ninja run over to him and the three have a group hug.

"We thought that."-

"How?"

"What happened?"

Suddenly Krag grabs Cole and threw a branch at Jay, Nya and William, knocking the three to the ground.

"FRIEND!" The yeti roared.

"Did Krag just say 'friend'?" Jay asked as he sat up.

"That's what I was trying to tell you guys." Cole said, while still being protected by the yeti. "He's not a monster. He's, well, he's Krag." Cole turns to Krag. "Krag. Nya, William, Jay. My friends." Cole turns back to his friends. "Krag helped me find the Traveler's Tree. He helped me get this." The Earth Ninja shows them the leaves.

Jay gasps. "Are those."-

"Traveler's Tea Leaves." Nya finishes.

"But how?" William asks. "Where?"

"That's what I'm trying to tell you." Cole said. "There's a tree up this cliff. I wouldn't have found it without Krag's help."

The three Ninja look up at Krag, feeling guilty. "I'm sorry we misjudged you." Nya told the yeti. "We heard some crazy stories and I guess we let them get the better of us, and."-

"Yeah, I don't think he understands all that." Cole told her.

Nya thinks for a minute, then holds out a hand towards the yeti. "Friend?" She asks with a friendly smile.

Krag responds happily by grabbing all four Ninja and squeezed them in an extremely tight hug.

"Not again." Cole groaned.

"Ah! What's he doing?" Jay asked.

"I'm about to explode!" Nya screamed.

"Nana never squeezes this hard!" William chokes.

"Down! Krag! Down!" Cole said. "Put us down!"

Krag opens his arms and the Ninja drop, landing in a heap.

"Krag, how would you like to come with us? Down the mountain?" Cole asked while his friends panted for breath.

Krag looked confused as he didn't understand.

"Krag, come with Cole." Cole offers. "Come stay with friend?" He clarifies.

Krag smiles happily with with a nod.

"Great! Well, that's settled!" Nya said.

The Ninja and Krag then leaves the cave, starting their journey back down the mountain for the village. After a long walk, Krag suddenly stopped and turns back to look at the cave.

Nya, William and Jay start to head over, but Cole stops them.

"Just give him a sec."

"What's he doing?" Jay asked as Krag lifts his tree branch and plants it into the snow, then roars loudly.

"Saying goodbye." Cole answers simply.
