22. Authors Note

Dear readers, 11/14/21

This is not an actual chapter that I'm adding to my story but it is an apology of sorts. Earlier today my son-in-law had a stroke and after further tests, it was determined that he has a brain tumor. He is only 39 years old. The tumor is quite large and was found near his temporal lobe. He has speech issues as well as being deaf in his right ear because of this tumor. If the tumor is operable they will remove it and then he will be going through rehabilitation. But the MRI that was done earlier indicates that this could be an incurable and inoperable tumor. His doctor will go over a plan of care tomorrow.

On Halloween past, I was down in Florida visiting my daughter and son-in-law, and my grandchildren. We took the grandchildren trick or treating and he looked like there was nothing wrong with him. The doctors say that this could be something that had been working its way up to become something worse over time.

Right now my wife has a flight down to Orlando on Tuesday to take care of my grandchildren so my daughter will be able to stay with her husband. Due to the circumstances of his sudden medical issue and with my current workload, I will be suspending my weekly posting schedule until further notice. Taking a break will let me focus on my family's needs right now. I will be back to continue what I have started and I will never leave a story unfinished. I Thank you for understanding.
