He's beside himself. He looks over at Kim who has her hands in cuffs just like he does and he wants to hold her hand so badly to give her the comfort she needs to move forward.
After hammering out a deal for WITSEC protection and the other hackers being released with a suspended sentence they got down to the nitty-gritty of who was behind the attacks. After Rodolfo revealed who was responsible rob jumped in.
"Wait a second, you're telling me that an underground organization in Germany is responsible for everything that's happening in this country?" Lieutenant Kennai asks.
All Rodolfo and Kim could do was nod their heads yes. Then they told them everything that the Germans were into here.
"His name is Wilhelm. He runs everything from Munich Germany. He did have a number one in charge here in New York and his name was Pieter but a man in a dark suit callously executed him in his office right in front of us to prove a point. Then he put me in charge. We have never seen him before that day." Rodolfo told him.
"I see. I am sorry that you had to witness that. I'm going to bring in Lieutenant Hannah Baker. You're going to tell her everything that you've done since you've initiated the attacks on the hospital, the MTA, and the stock exchange."
"Good. When you tell her to come in here tell her to bring in her encrypted laptop as well and then we will fix the servers that we disrupted and get everything back to normal." Rodolfo requests.
"Oh, and by the way, Wilhelm is operating in plain sight. As far as I know, he runs the operation from an office building in downtown Munich."
"Thanks for the info. I'll see what I can do for you with sentencing by the attorney general."
Rob decided that there could be a little leeway with how he charges them in this case since they have seemed to see that what they did was wrong. He just hoped the A.G. could see it also.

Kate comes to and plays possum because when she cracks her eye open she sees a man looking out the window armed with an H&K 416. Her hands are bound behind her back and she can feel Jordan's wrist since they are back-to-back and very close to each other. She quickly takes her pulse to see if she still has one all without moving too much to give herself away.
She really can't say anything now until the guard leaves and once he does she knows that she's going to have to tell Jordan everything about her gift.

Hannah was able to find out that Rodolfo had searched for two sites to stash Kate and Jordan. They need to confirm both sites so she and Rob got together with Ben and they divided the two locations up between two teams. The HRT team and the FBI/NYPD team. Each would search each target with state-of-the-art equipment. Hannah has both addresses narrowed down to exactly where they could be.

Very carefully Kate lowers her head as far as her body will allow. What she sees confirms Rick's vision. There is a small block of C-4 underneath the middle of both of their chairs. Both blocks of C-4 are wired together to a pressure-sensitive switch that is in the seat she thinks. But it could also be remotely detonated and that scares her even more. She sits there and thinks about the best way to get out of the mess that they're now in. It takes Jordan an additional fifteen minutes to come around but when she does Kate squeezes her hand once she feels her fighting against her zip ties. She comforts her in a way that she knows not to move. During the time that Jordan was out Kate had the start of a plan. Now all she needs to do is act on it.

Henrik peers into the room through the window that can barely support any light through it. What he sees pisses him off to no end. The guard that is in the room armed with his H&K 416 is looking out the window. He should be watching his charges. He has no clue as to what's going on around him and he will pay dearly for it. Henrik gives two short raps on the door that draws the guard from his daydreaming through the window. The guard walks over and opens up the door and is instantly met with a bullet right between the eyes. There is no room for error in his operation.
He steps over the dead guard and stands directly in front of both of his hostages. He knows they're both awake and he will prove it.
He grabs the detective and the agent by their hair and yanked downwards effectively pulling them up from their resting position. The first thing he hears is a very small cry in pain from both women.
"I know that you two are awake and that you were simply faking it. Now while that might be admirable in your position to gather intel, to me it's just plain stupid. There is no getting out of what's going to happen to you now but what I need to know is how you found out all the information on my boss.
Kate just looks at him with one of her patented glares not giving a shit what happens to her next. She will not tell him anything. When he looks over to Jordan he gets the same look in response to his question.
"Suit yourself. But you're going to regret your decision. Strapped to the bottom of your chair is a pressure-sensitive switch that is wired to two pounds of C-4 plastic explosive. You shift in any direction on that chair and you're both going to be blown to oblivion. Or I could easily press this fob button and eliminate you that way. There is no saving yourself here so just give up the information you have on my employer and maybe I'll push the remote after you spill your information to me to put you out of your misery."
He sneered as he said his last words hoping that they would understand the seriousness of the situation they were in.

He was desperate. He would do anything to find out where they were and he might just have a way to do that. Rick sits in the conference room knowing that the HRT leader will be going to a bogus address. He knows this because of his vision and now he doesn't regret not telling him anything. In a way, he doesn't want to see him waste his time but the guy is a real prick. So maybe keeping him out of the loop is a good thing in his opinion.
He walks over to Kate's chair and again starts searching for something to connect to her. Just as he's about to reach for elephants that she told him her mother used to have on her desk, he's hit with a vision. And in the vision, he sees them both bound with their hands behind their backs on chairs sitting atop bricks of C-4 explosives. But this is unlike his first vision since there's a man in the vision that wasn't in it before. He watches for the next three minutes and twenty-two seconds and sees Kate and Jordan defying the man's questions. It's then when the man lets go of the hair that he's holding and simply walks away. Rick can always see a few feet in every direction when he has his visions but what he does see is a guard who looks to have a bullet hole right between the eyes. He knows Kate and Jordan couldn't have done it because they're still tied to the chair.

He watches from Kate's desk as the HR team leader gets up and leaves the war room gathering his team to go to the address that's going to yield nothing for them. Once he leaves the room and then the building he gets up and goes to Ben who is sitting in his office. When he gets there he sees him going over blueprints of both buildings trying to figure out which one would present the best tactical option for the manpower that he has available to him.
"Ben, there's something I think you should know. I have no love for this guy but the HRT team leader is going to the wrong address." Rick says.
"Rick, what are you talking about? How do you know this?"
"Ben just trust me on this okay I can't get into specifics right now and I promise I will when they are safe and sound, but there's something that's going to threaten their lives very soon. The second address is the address that they're at. So I suggest that we gather up the personnel that we have left so that we can go and save them." Rick tells him as he points to the second set of blueprints laid out on his desk.
"Rick, how solid is this intel?"
"I'd bet my life on it, Ben."
"Alright. Head back to the war room and we'll get a team together to go and get them."

Hannah is amazed at what she sees when Rodolfo manipulates the system that he's hacked into. She is also amazed at what she is seeing because she knows that the system that he is in changes the password several times during a twenty-four period to stop people like him from getting access to their system. And that's not the only fail-safe that they have incorporated into the system as a deterrent. There are also many firewalls to manipulate before you can get into the system itself. The password not being the only way.
She watches as he releases the servers in the NYSE system and in less than three minutes the system is back under the control of the powers to be. With Kim's help, they both restore the MTA and hospital's servers back into city hands effectively giving control back to the city.
"I am amazed at how far you've come since we were in college Rodolfo. Too bad you decided to use your talents for evil and not good. Imagine what you could do if you had?"
Rodolfo just hung his head in shame. He knew that she was right but at the time what he chose to do was his best option. If he had only taken a step back and realized that there were alternatives to what he was doing, things could have been different.
"Now while I am forever the romantic, and our ship has sailed a long time ago Rodolfo, that is not the case with you and Kim. I can see the attraction between the two of you and I hope that with this second chance that you're going to be given, you use it to be productive and stay on the right side of the law."
Kim looked at Hannah with a sense of renewed purpose.
"Is there a way that we will be able to be placed together once we're put into WITSEC after our incarceration?" Kim asks.
"You didn't hear this from me but with what you've just done here by restoring all the servers to their normal status, I'm pretty sure that you will be given a suspended sentence and credit for time already served."
Hannah looked at the two of them and understood that they appreciated her last statement because they were both locked together in a searing, passionate kiss. When they came up for air she stopped them from re-engaging so she could finish talking.
"Hang on a second you two."
At Hannah's voice, they both looked at her waiting to hear what she had to say.
"I am recommending that the two of you should be released to the custody of the U.S. Marshall service. From there they will take you to an undisclosed location somewhere within this country. Please don't squander this chance that you have been given. After this meeting, this will be the last I see of you both."
"Are we all set in here?'' Rob says as he walks into the interrogation room.
Hannah just nods and leaves him with the file for their agreement to be in WITSEC with the Marshals service as she walks out the door.

Jürgen Stock the Secretary-General of INTERPOL hangs up the phone and questions the validity of the conversation he has just had. The NYPD police commissioner had just advised him that he had information of a group operating out of Munich Germany that had just attacked his transportation network servers and also the stock exchange and the financial district servers. They were able to stop the attack after they found the hackers and arrested them. But the odd thing is that they were able to give him the address to where they were operating from. Never one to toss away any information he calls a quick meeting of his staff and explains to them the phone call he just received.
"Jürgen this information should be passed to the German Federal Police. I think that the BPOL national headquarters in Potsdam will dispatch a team to arrest this group. I'm sure that they can have a team in Munich within the hour." His coworker suggests.
"You're right. But I'm sure that we will need updates to the minute so I will call the German Federal Police myself and relay the request."
"Understood."
The call is quick and even before he hangs up the police force in Munich already has a team responding to the address they were given.

The sniper that was on the rooftop across from Wilhelm's office waited patiently. He was the company's freelance fixer hired to eliminate problems and from what he heard over the past few days they need to terminate this threat quickly. His job was to take care of a couple of loose ends that were going to bring this organization down. A threat was a threat he didn't care what he had done, if he was responsible for the situation he was now in, or he was simply a thorn in someone's side. He was being paid a lot of money to stop him from breathing.
He was dispatched to his first loose end five days ago. His orders were to plant listening devices within the parameters of the target's office and observe for four days. On the fifth day, he would give his report. They would make their decision to take him out or to shut it down. He hoped that they would select the prior. Bugging his office was quite simple. He was the copy machine repairman and within twenty minutes he had the place completely wired from top to bottom.
For a man who talks with his hands, a lot, Wilhelm is not doing much of that today. The image he sees through his scope is something he hadn't counted on. The blinds hanging from the top of the window are vertical slats that are three-quarters closed. It just so happens that Wilhelms's desk chair is right behind those slats. He only has the option of taking him out when he goes to lunch or uses the rest facilities in his office. Then when his phone pings with a simple two-word text. As he checks his phone he sees "Green Light." He moves into position for the shot he knows that he is going to take.

Kate and Jordan are watching the man who just killed the man who was watching them without a care in the world. He was ruthless and cold.
"There will be no one coming to your rescue. I have added an additional layer of protection to ensure that I am protected when this is done. And with both of you having amnesia this will be our last conversation." Henrik tells his hostages as he turns and leaves. The sound of the deadbolt being thrown makes this situation only that direr.
Ever since she was a tenacious little girl Kate always had a great idea when the situation was impossible. She didn't disappoint now either.
In a low whisper, she calls out to Jordan.
"Jordan, can you hear me?" Kate asks.
"I can Kate. What are we going to do? I don't have a plan for what we are neck-deep in." She said in a shaky voice.
"That's okay. Because I do. So don't worry."
"Do you want to share with the class?"
"I will. But there is something that I need to tell you first. You need to keep an open mind while I explain what it is I can do for us."
"Alright."
"I can get us out of here in a split second if need be. There will be a thrush of energy that will distort you and make you feel like you want to pee in your pants and throw up all at the same time."
"All right Kate just tell me what it is you need to tell me so we can get the hell out of here."
"I have a gift that I was born with. Neither of my parents has this gift and they were not able to do what I'm able to do. Some people might think it's a curse but in this instance, it's going to help save us."
"Okay, so what is it that you can do?
"I'm able to get us out of here by concentrating on a place I have been to before. There's a brief displacement around your body and after we leave here we will be transported to that location I have thought up in my head."
"Do you seriously want me to believe that? Kate this is something out of a Jules Verne or H.G. Wells book! Nobody has the ability to do anything that you are describing."
"Jordan I'm telling you the truth. I can get us out of here but we need to deal with Henrik first. He's the one who has the remote detonator for the two pounds of C-4 that is underneath our chairs. We need to take care of him and get ourselves to safety."
"Okay so tell me what your plan is even if I don't believe what's going to happen will actually happen."
"Always the cynic Jordan! You should open up your mind to what's around you." Kate says.
"So here's what we're going to do…."

The ride to the second address is short. It's in Upper Manhattan and he can feel her. As the van pulls up Ben turns in the passenger seat to face Rick and address him.
"Rick no one will be a hero here. Safety is first and foremost. They'll be no cowboy stuff. You stay behind me and we will get them out of there."
"Okay, Ben," Rick tells him.
The team of five is quickly dispatched to strategic locations around the building. Two men take the back, one man takes the side, and Rick and Ben take the front. The two men who are covering the back of the building we're just about to turn the corner to enter from the rear parking lot. They see a Jaguar SUV parked in the parking lot. Just as they're about to turn the corner the rear door to the parking lot from the building opens up and out walks a man in a dark suit. The SWAT member closest to the door is pulled backward by the second SWAT member to get out of his line of sight from the man walking to the SUV.
He quietly advises the front entry team to what he has just seen. On the side of the building, there's an alcove that can hide both of them so the man in the dark suit won't see them. He watches as the man has his key fob in his hand and unlocks the SUV. He then gets in the car and starts it up. The man sits in the car for an extended amount of time not doing anything. Then he sees him talking on his cell phone and realizes that this is why he hasn't left yet. This man fits the description that Rodolfo and Kim had given the team after they restored everything back to normal.
Rick and Ben cut down the alleyway that leads to the back parking lot. Being as stealthily as they can they reach the building's parking lot and simply observe. The fifth man of their team has made it up to the roof and has his gun trained on the white SUV. It's then when all hell breaks loose.

Wilhelm needs to get something to eat. He rises from his chair, pulls his jacket off the back of the chair, and puts it on. He turns to check his appearance out in the mirror and likes what he sees. The Armani suit he has on was one of the best purchases. He combes what's left of his hair to make it look more presentable and then turns to leave his office. He takes three steps towards the door and his hand never reaches the door handle. He hears the glass window shatter and that's the last thing that he hears before he falls to the ground dead. The sniper who was opposite Wilhelm's office on the rooftop quickly disassembled his weapon and stores it where no one will figure out that it is a high-powered rifle. It's a compact unit that fits within the size of a briefcase so he will not be noticed if he walks out of an office building in the middle of the afternoon carrying it.

From where she sits Kate now understands why the guard was looking out the window. On the upper right-hand side of the window, there is a mirror that covers the entire parking lot. If one were to look up at the mirror he could see anything that would pose a threat. She now realizes that Henrik had killed this man for no reason other than doing his job. He will pay! This is just what she needs to bring her plan full circle. She knows that the C-4 beneath both of them can be remotely detonated and that is probably what Henrik is going to do. If she can angle her body just right she can look through the window into the mirror and see where Henrik is.
"Jordan I need you to lean to the left just a little bit so I can see out the window." She requests.
"Kate, why do you need to see out the window? What is so important that you need to see…" Jordan stops talking knowing that Kate has a plan. The fact that she needs to see out the window just proves to her that this is something she needs to do to move them with her gift so she shifts to the left ever so slightly.
What Kate sees is more than enough for her to blink them to where she wants to go. She takes Jordan's hand with her right hand and touches the leads that connect to the C-4 under their chairs with her left. She then closes her eyes and pictures the white Jaguar SUV. Within seconds they are transported from the chairs they are sitting on into the backseat of the SUV. Before Henrik can even realize what's going on the interior of the SUV is covered in black soot just as he pushes the button to detonate the C-4 under their chairs.

Rick watches as the SUV in the parking lot blows outward losing its doors, hood, and rear hatch, and every window is now missing. The flames that engulfed the SUV destroy everything within fifty feet of where it is parked. He's not sure about what he saw but he swears that he saw two people in the car in the backseat a split second before it blew up. But now as the fire dies down he and Ben walked closer to the burned-out SUV and see only one body in the driver's seat.

Kate who has been doing this for quite a while is already acclimated to her new surroundings. Jordan on the other hand is still lying on the sand unconscious. But she knows it won't last for long. Her eyes start to flutter as she regains consciousness. The first thing she sees is the sun shining brightly and she has to put her hand over her eyes to shield out the sun so she can see Kate.
"Where are we?" Jordan asks.
"We're at Mākālei Beach Park in Honolulu."
The second Kate finished telling Jordan where she was she was immediately feeling her body for any injuries or so she thought.
"Kate, how did we get here? And why am I not dead? All I remember is the sound of an explosion and then I wake up on a beach in Hawaii."
"Jordan while I might have not told you everything about my gift I can tell you that Henrik is no longer going to be a threat for anyone anymore. When I blinked us out of the room we were in I had your hand in mine. My other hand was on the leads that led to the bottom of the seat. It happened in a fraction of a second. I held on to those leads and blinked into Henrik's car. The second we delivered the package that he detonated I blinked us out of the backseat on his car and to Hawaii. If you take a look over your shoulder you'll see that Diamond Head is right behind you."
Jordan not knowing if what she's saying is true looks behind her and sees the volcanic evidence of Diamond Head. She turns and looks at Kate who has a smirk on her face knowing that they really are in Hawaii.
"Kate you need to tell me how you can do this. And you also need to tell me what will happen next."
"Jordan just thank the stars above that we're still alive. It doesn't matter how I can do this, just know that I can. And the only thing I ask in return is that you don't subject me to government testing by outing me. Because if you did we would never see each other ever again."
"I promise Kate. But it still leaves the question I need an answer to. How do we get back to where we just left?"
"Oh, that's easy. Just leave it to me I'll have you back in New York City in less than two seconds."

Rick watches as Ben confirms the ID of the body that's in the SUV. He knows that Kate and Jordan are not upstairs in the room they were being held in. A lone tear escapes from his eye knowing that they are no longer here. He can only hope that they got out before the bomb detonated.
As he stands back up after surveying the damage to the SUV he feels a tap on his shoulder. Immediately he turns in place and sees the love of his life standing right in front of him with her arms stretched out waiting for him to hug her. The second he does he lifts her off the ground and spins her around and around. By the time he puts her down, he looks over at Jordan and can tell that she sees the love he has for her by the smile on her face.
