Author Message:A new story I wanted to try out for some time, honestly I didn't think I would make it 5k words but here we are, hope you like it and to here what you think.

Chapter 1: The Start of a New Story
"Na—"
"Zzzzzzz—zzzzzzzz."
"Nar—Na—uto—"
"Zzzzzzz—zzzzzzzz."
"NARUTO!"
It was with this shout, eyes shot open to find nothing but darkness, resulting in frantic movement until it was pulled away and with it sat up a 14-year-old blonde who had wide eyes before showing a look of annoyance.
"NARUTO UZUMAKI, GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE NOW!" The shout originating from the door. "YOU HAVE SCHOOL, SO IF YOU WANT—" Immediately she got a response due to her son was already jumping out of bed in his normal night attire of a shirt and boxers.
"Yeah! Yeah! I heard ya' mom," He called while running to his dresser. "I'll be down there in a minute, I just need to get dressed!" His shout was followed by quickly getting dressed, he now wore a shirt and black pants. Over the shirt was a black cloak over the uniform along with a black headband with an orange swirl image on it being put on his head. As he looked in the mirror, his eyes widen as looks back on his knight stand, running over he grabs an emerald crystal-made necklace and mouth wash.
"Almost forgot!" With that, he ran out his door, passing by a photo frame of himself when he was a kid next to a white-haired girl, both arm in arm as they smiled brightly while they were covered in mud on New Year's Day. As he ran down the steps he found his mother and father in the kitchen, one eating breakfast and the other cooking it.
"There you are!" Spoke a red-haired woman, making eggs at the stove with an apron on. "This is almost an everyday thing with—" She was cut off by their son.
"Sorry," He grabs a nearby piece of toast that he puts in his mouth. "Munna beh lain!" Was the sound that escaped his mouth as he ran out the door, not even listening for a reply and resulting in his red-headed mother sighing aloud unlike her husband who was smiling with a bead of sweat falling from his face.
[Kushina and Minato Uzumaki]
[Son, Naruto Uzumaki: Age 14]
"Naruto." The two said simultaneously, their child once again getting up late for school despite trying to wake him up while their son had run out the door, down the steps, and entered the sidewalk, turning right he started to run, until...
"Hey!" Immediately the blonde perked up upon the familiar voice behind him. "Morning, Naruto!" He turns while taking the toast out of his mouth.
"H-Hey Tow—!" Was the slight stutter, having completely missed her before he stops, sweat appearing on his forehead as he stared at his long-time friend who stopped behind him, blinking in confusion.
"What?" Yet despite that, the white-haired girl didn't understand he was staring at her outfit which was a male school uniform.
"Aren't you going to an all-girls academy?"
That question has resulted in a sigh being given while she walked right past Naruto who hurried, picking up the pace to walk beside her the now annoyed girl, turning to look at him.
"We've been over this," She raises a finger. "1: It's easier to fight in this. 2: I don't like skirts. 3: Why are you focused on what I'm wearing?" The response she got was Naruto looking away in embarrassment yet she didn't pay that even an ounce of attention as they walked in the same direction, their schools being that way. In a matter of minutes, they came to a stop, exactly what seemed to be five bullies standing before them.
"Finally found you, Higurashi!"
"Word is you transferred schools again."
"Sounds like your trying to run away from us!"
"You can't dodge us that easy."
"Ready to go?!"
At that point, the white-haired girl had a serious glint in her eyes, once again having to deal with bullies while Naruto on the other hand...
"And there." His words gained their attention to see him taking a picture of them and Towa.
"Hey," The leader points at him. "what are you doing?" His question gained the blonde's attention as he looked up from his screen.
"Nothing, just getting ready to forward this to our teacher." At this point, all five guys went wide-eyed before slowly looking very unnerved, surprising Towa who looks at Naruto who waves the phone while a grin forms on his face.
"You guys were already warned once about this, ya' know." This seemed to piss them off at the evidence he held. "If I send him this, along with what happens next I'm pretty sure you guys will get detention or suspended, want to take that chance?" With that being left in the air, the four-eyed leader just glared at Naruto before he turns his back to him.
"Fine, we'll leave but don't think this is over!" The other guys start turning around as well. "You better watch yourself, next time you won't have your boyfriend protecting you Higurashi!" His words surprised Towa and embarrassed Naruto as they watched the five leave for school.
"B-Boyfriend?" She repeated with a confused expression upon her face, unlike the blonde who was glancing away with a slight blush.
"W-Well..." He began, drawing her attention. "we do hang out all the time, ever since we were kids so it's understandable they would—" He was cut off by Towa seeing Towa already walking which he walks after her.
"Knowing that bunch they are probably starting rumors in your school..." She sighs before looking at him apologetically as they walked side-by-side. "Sorry if it's already spreading in your school." In response, his eyes widen, and immediately looks away while scratching his cheek.
"I-It's fine, I don't care for the rumors..." In response to this, she smiles before her eyes widen as they finally stop in front of her school which was protected by a tall gate just as bells rang loudly from the building.
"Crap, I forgot they start earlier." Quickly she looks around, causing Naruto's eyes to widen.
"Uh, Towa maybe you—" He was silenced by the girl hurrying and jumping over the gate, displaying inhuman agility as she made it over to the other side before looking at him.
"See you later, Naruto!" She waved while hurrying towards her school and leaving Naruto to stand their dumbfounded before looking at the sign.
[SAINT GABRIEL ACADEMY]
"She won't last a week..."
Students were already sat in class at the prestigious Konoha Gakuen High which was a strict school that would have you get hit by the literal rule book if you're caught pulling anything, causing bullying to be mostly nonexistent from the school until off-campus.
"~~and I'm telling you, the BBQ flavor chips are much tastier than the Sour scream flavor." The largest of the class, Choji Akimichi was in disagreement with one animal-loving student, Kiba Inuzuka.
"And I told you, 30% more in a Poll liked sour cream more." He crosses his arms. "Face it—" He was cut off by something being flicked at him and turns with a vein on his forehead to see Naruto playing paper football with his head.
"Ten points."
"Really Whiskers?"
"I'm bored, Dog breath."
Loud coughing gained their attention to see the one and the only teacher now staring at the three and looking up from the history book he was reading.
"Choji, Kiba, Naruto, pay attention, or else I'm giving you a pop quiz." Like magic, that got them to shut up with small laughs being heard from other students while Naruto sits back at his desk.
"Geez Teach, you sound like I'll fail the pop quiz." Despite the confidence he showed, his teacher challenged it, easily.
"Now, then you will be staying after school so I can give you a pop quiz." Immediately Naruto stood up in shock from his deck, gaining everyone's attention.
"H-Hey, Teach I—"
"It's Mr. Hatake, Uzumaki. I'll be waiting for you after school so sit down."
"But-uh-...yes, sir." With that being said, he reluctantly sat back down which heard a few chuckles that came from one Kiba who was smiling behind him.
*sigh*
Was the fifth sigh that came from the blonde, looking through the small stack of homework in his hands, having stayed after class to inevitably fail and gain homework he has to now complete...or barely complete before class tomorrow. In the end, he just rams it all in his backpack before slinging it over his shoulder.
"What a drag-oh great, now I'm quoting Shikamaru now." Complained the blonde who ends up passing by Towa's new school he glances at.
"Detention, maybe?" He muttered. "Wouldn't be the first time that's happened." As he spoke that, he becomes more in thought.
"Meeting when we were kids changed a lot for me, if not for her I would have still gotten in more fights..." He starts sweating as he recalled losing to her multiple times when we were ten. "Ehe, Towa wasn't good at holding back."
The smile increases as he recalled when she used to dress more feminine back than before her current outfit, resulting in him snorting a little at his amusement that was before he disappears before turning complicated.
"I gotta escape the friend zone before some guy puts the moves on her."
"Been a while since I stopped here." Muttered the blonde who was walking up the steps to the shrine, to visit the old man.
"Wonder what he's been up to?" Was the simple question he thought of before coming to a halt once arriving at the shrine at the right time to witness the old man himself, the great Grandfather of Towa's family moving what appears to be a slim box.
"Hello again, Mr. Higurashi." Called the blonde who gained the man's attention upon nearing the storage area.
"Ah Naruto, glad your here." He fully turns to hold up the case. "Would you mind helping me with this?" The blonde smiles as he quickly climbs up the railing and over it, taking the case in his hands.
"Sure thing—" He stops mid-sentence to look at the case in question before looking at the old man who stops to see he wasn't flowing.
"This has been passed down for generations, the sword of Murakumo." His answer was brief yet the old man could see the dumbfounded expression upon the young lads face before gaining quite the sigh.
"It's also called the Sword of Kusanagi. It's in the Historical Annals of the Kojiki and Nih—you have no clue this is a bona fide national treasure, do you?" His explanation that turned into a question gained no response.
"Oh just...follow me." As if having enough, he starts leading the way with Naruto feeling awkward as hell but as he did so he felt quite off the moment he took the case in his hands.
"Weird?" Was the simple thought he had that passed through his mind as he follows the old man to the storage room of the shrine.
"Here." He opens the door for Naruto, both entering the darkroom that was lit by the lights of the outside.
"You see, the sword of Murakumo is the magical sword that Prince Susano'o found in the tail of the beast he slew, the Yamato No Orochi." As he explained that, the young man sat the case down and opens it to get a look at the weapon which he finds to have a rather odd shape while sheathed such as its handle which he soon noticed something, a kanji.
"You said it's the Sword of Murawhatsit-"
"Sword of Murakumo." He nods and points at the emblem with the kanji on it.
"Yeah, yeah but the character means 'Fang' not 'sword'." Now that got his attention as the old man moves closer to look at it next to Naruto before he frowns.
"It's read as So'unga rather than Murakumo Sword..." Yet, despite hearing the truth he shakes his head.
"No! That can't be!" He immediately shakes his head in denial. "This is a sword of true value, discovered by our forefathers' forefather many years ago in the ancient well...!"
"Guess, they can't read." Naruto dare not say or else he would earn the right-hand slap of denial. The old man turns away, going through scrolls fast to find the written scroll that describes its discovery while Naruto just stared at the sword before his eyes widen as he felt a certain 'pull' from the weapon, seeing it had started to shake unknowingly to the others, that was until...
"HEY, GET YOUR ASSES OUT HERE, NOW!" That sudden shout caused the two to stop what they were doing and looked at each other before making their way towards the entrance and there they were met with a shocking sight. The gang from earlier being led by an older man in his 20's, wielding a wooden bat while baring a scar over his cheek. Behind him were the tied-up Mei and her grandmother, both tied up much to the old man's horror at seeing his daughter and great granddaughter tied up.
"Your that Uzumaki guy, right?" His question earned one Blond jumping down and over the railing in front of the older man.
"What the hell's going on—" He was cut off by the sudden swipe of the wooden sword, causing him to stumble back and glare at the guy who points his weapon at him.
"Your phone now...or." One of the guys shows behind the new leader had taken out a switchblade that he placed at Mei's throat, much to his horror at their smug expressions before angrily taking out his phone and handing it to the guy who proceeds to smash it to pieces.
"Good." With that said, he suddenly slams his weapon a second time into Naruto's face, making everyone except for a few thugs such as the old leader by surprise as they watched Naruto fall to one knee with blood leaking from his mouth, glaring at the man who taps his weapon on his shoulder.
"Man, you're like a human punching bag!" As he spoke, he stood over a battered Naruto who despite being beaten with bruises and blood leaking from his mouth had still held a strong gaze, a beast holding back its fangs yet he turns his gaze towards the family of three, the grandfather, mother, and daughter, all three tied to the large tree in the center of the shrine. Mei's sister was watching tearfully before Naruto was grabbed by his collar of his jacket and pulled up to stand in front of him.
"PAY ATTENTION!" That shout had earned a punch to his already bruised face, gaining another splat of blood on the ground from his mouth, worrying one of them if things were being taken too far in the hostage of a family and the beating of a classmate.
"Now that we have her family and boyfriend hostage, she'll be sure to come." The head of the group looks back. "It's your lucky day boys, that chick will learn her place for ruffing up your gang!" It was with this said, a familiar voice entered the fray.
"Really," Naruto's eyes widen. "guess we'll see!" Turning towards the voice, they found Towa standing at the entrance of the shrine by herself, shocking Naruto why she didn't just call the police since they wouldn't be stupid enough to do anything to the hostages.
"MRHMF!" Was the only sound Mei could make from her bandaged mouth as tears were see falling much to Towa's horror at seeing her family than at Naruto beaten and bruised.
"Mei, Naruto, Grammy, Grandpa, hold on!" She glares directly at the scarred one in charge. "If you're looking for a lesson, I'm happy to help! You guys are gonna be the ones who'll get schooled today!" Despite the bravery she showed, Naruto could only grit his teeth and goes to grab the guy's wrist before he reacted immediately and socks him right in the stomach, dropping the blond to his knees much to Towa's anger.
"Ahahahah, you should have just called the police," His gaze moves to the family. "Right?" Immediately Towa turns to see one of the thugs holding a switchblade to Mei's throat, much to her terror as she was shaking now.
"MEI!" Despite saying her name, it did nothing as she just stood there much to the happiness of the leader who taps his wooden sword on his shoulder.
"You may be strong but your a complete idiot, have you not even realized the fact we have your family and boyfriend hostage?" His words only surprised them at the result of seeing her reveal a sword she had been carrying under cloth attached to her back, gleaming with the sunlight reflection.
"If you wanna okay then fine!" Despite her being armed it did nothing to change the situation even when one felt unsure at seeing her carrying an actual blade.
"Doesn't matter," He began to approach Towa who grips her handle until more sounds came, causing her to turn to see Mei shaking as the blade was touching her throat with the thug just smirking.
"I doubt you're fast enough to stop your cute little sister from getting her throat slashed." He approaches her. "SO STAND STILL!" With a shout, he sword full force into Towa's face leaving a soon-to-be nasty bruise.
"YOU SAID YOU WERE GONNA SCHOOL US," He had begun a barrage of strikes to Towa's face. "DIDN'T YOU?!" With each strike, wounds began to become visible with blood leaking from her mouth. Towa could only look to see her sister terrified as the knife was still held to her throat.
"TOWA, BEHIND—" Naruto had stopped in horror upon seeing the bully behind Towa having struck her in the head with a wooden bat, no matter how strong she was she falls to her knees with wide eyes, touching the back of her head before looking to see fresh blood. Her gaze moves to meet Naruto's horror-filled eyes before they slowly close as she hits the ground.
"MRRRPH!" Mei was shaking despite the knife held, much to the annoyance of the bully while the grandma and great grandfather were tearful at seeing this yet Naruto just lay there as he felt like something in him was about to break.
(You hate him, don't you? You hate them all...)
At that point, Naruto had frozen as the voice came from his thoughts, in his head as he watched Towa kicked in the face with a few looking unsure since she was already beaten yet the leader didn't care.
(I can feel it, within you lies deep malice that which I have never before felt, one which has awakened me from my 700-year slumber. I am So'unga...)
That simple name caused his eyes to widen as he slowly moved his gaze towards the storage area, and what he saw had terrified him at the aura of a demonic-looking dragon staring down at the group, most notably himself.
(Take revenge with me. Take vengeance on those weaklings. I've seen their kind before, they are worthless human beings that don't have a right to live, if you don't hurry they may do some awful things to her.)
As those words hit him, he finally felt something cracking and with it, his appearance began to change, from his hair getting longer to his teeth becoming canines.
"Get...away...from her." As he spoke, the bullies stopped what they were doing. "or else." He stood tall as his whisker marks turned a deeper shade.
"What the hell are—" He was silenced as they all saw the changes taking place but most notably his left eye now having a red sclera with the pupil turning white while being spotted.
"What the hell..." At that point, Towa was regaining consciousness and what she witnessed was something she can never forget.
"DO YOU WANT TO DIE YOU PIECE OF—" He was cut off as an explosion was heard from the house, causing him to turn fast as something flew past his vision which he turns to find a sword being lifted in the air much to his horror and the others.
"NARUTO, STOP!" That scream from Towa had caused his eyes to widen as he abruptly grabs his head in pain while stumbling back, the thugs didn't know what to make of this but the appearance of the sword very much unnerved them and Naruto's appearance before they heard it, police sirens fast approaching.
"Shit, did they call the cops?!"
"Forget this, this is getting too crazy!"
Immediately the thugs turn tailed and ran in a hurry while Naruto drops the sword on the ground, staring at his hands to see the long fingernails slowly receding yet the sensation hadn't left him before he jolts and turns to see Towa having made her way to her family with the sword in hand, quickly cutting the ropes before being embraced by the three.
"You big dummy!" Spoke the tearful Mei. "You said you'll never fight again!" Towa could only sigh as she knelt to hug her.
"Your right, please forgive me, Mei." Despite being quite bruised and battered she still smiled before focusing her gaze on Naruto who turns away from her, not meeting her gaze which worries her as she finally stands up and walks towards him while the grandmother and great grandfather discuss calling the police.
Naruto just stared at the sword that lay on the ground, unsheathed as he stared at his reflection.
(Ahahaha, if not for that girl we would have dealt with those fools.)
His voice seemed to travel through Naruto's head and in turn causing him to feel disgusted and horrified, but for completely different reasons he rather not say.
"Naruto..." His name being called had snapped him back to reality, turning to find Towa standing there in worry yet he just looks away, rather watching Mei hugging her grandmother, most likely deal with future trauma.
"I was going to kill him..." He finally spoke, not even bothering to lie at this point with Towa's eyes widening before trying to muster a smile.
"It's ok Naruto, you didn't mean—" She was stopped at seeing his hardened gaze meeting hers.
"Towa, don't lie..." That caused her to avoid his gaze, knowing full well if she did nothing, he would have murdered them.
It was at that moment, Towa's eyes widen as she smelled something familiar while Naruto sensed a change taking place. Both turn to stare at the tree in wonder before the family and Naruto watched as some sort of portal opened up where the tree was, shocking them all which Towa quickly grabs her sword while Naruto looks at the demonic sword on the ground and frowns, not wanting to touch it.
"Towa, what is that thing?" Mei questioned yet her sister was focused on the smell just as three came out of the portal, they were shocked to see one centipede woman-monster wrapped around a girl along with another girl holding onto the centipede monster arriving just as the portal closed behind them, trapping them here.
"Ow!" Came the shout of the red-cloaked girl who hits the ground after being thrown off while the other girl grunts as she was being crushed by the female monster.
"I know that light..." Towa's mutter had gained his attention. "I remember, that's it...unbelievably bright place from my memories and this smell." As if by magic, her left eye glows much to the shock of Naruto who never once had witnessed this before.
"SETSUNA!" That single name caused the blond's own eyes to widen in shock as he turns fast to see said girl responding, looking at Towa from the hold of the centipede while the other girl that had fallen away from them couldn't get up.
"This is simply great! The silver pearl is here as well!" It turns its attention towards Naruto and Towa. "Now I'll have a pearl for each of my three beautiful eyes!" It lunges at the two yet Towa was the first to react, jumping high towards it with her sword raised.
"TOWA, YOUR NOT—" She fell to deaf ears.
"SETSUNA, I'LL SAVE YOU!" Despite shouting that, Naruto had already moved as if predicting the outcome and that was her blade breaking upon connecting with the skin of the monster.
"Impossible, this thing broke my Kikujūmonji?!" Disbelief was on her face before her eyes widen at seeing the monster drawing back its right arm before thrusting it right for Towa who could do nothing due to the head injury now tackling effect from her rapid movement.
"Idiot..." This was all that could be said by one blond that had managed to get in between Towa and the monster but not by enough due to the arm of the monster having ripped its way through his chest with his blood being splattered on her face. This single scene managed to horrify Mei, her grandmother, and great grandfather while Setsuna and the red-cloaked girl also stare in shock at the scene before them but none were more emotional as Towa who could only stare at her best friend protecting her before abruptly grabbing him just as he was swiped off her arm and sent into the gravel which she used herself to break the fall, holding him protectively.
"N-Naruto, why did you—" She stopped to move her hands at seeing they were covered in his blood while said blonde was breathing lightly, eyes barely open. It was with this distraction she jolted and looked up to see the monster was approaching her after letting Setsuna go.
"Give it to me, I want the silver rainbow pearl you have in your possession!" It lunges right at Towa who glares at the monster while letting Naruto down, her gaze entirely focused on the monster that was heading for her.
"HOW DARE YOU HURT NARUTO AND SETSUNA?!" Her shout of rage was followed by the flicker of a symbol on her forehead, along with a massive energy sword forming from her broken sword that pierced through the monster much to the shock of Setsuna and the other girl who watched the sight of the monster falling back as the massive energy dispersed.
"H-How—" She stops and flinches, faking to one knee from her injuries she had taken on before this monster.
"Hey, you!" The shout of the girl in red had gained her attention tho she felt she wanted to pass out. "Hurry up and finish her off already!" She grits her teeth at seeing the monster was getting back up with the gaping wound in its chest while she was weak along with Setsuna. It was at this point it set its sights on Naruto who was on the verge of death and once more lunges towards him for sustenance, much to Towa's horror.
"IF YOU DON'T HURRY UP THAN HE'LL BE DEVOURED!" Yet it was too late, Towa tried to stand but could manage with her head injury, falling to one knee and forced to watch as the monster was feet away until a voice rang out.
(HE'S MINE!)
Was the single shout they heard, witnessing the sword on the ground coming to life as it flew right at the monster that had turned to the voice, being impaled through the center of the forehead as it falls back, dead. This very sight shocking everyone at seeing that demonic sword outright protecting Naruto who lay in a small puddle of his blood.
"N-Naruto!" Despite the weakened shout, Towa was making her way towards Naruto despite being a little wobbly yet even so after a few feet she begins falling only to find heralded being helped to stand, looking to find Setsuna at her side.
"How do you know my name?" Her question gained shock from Towa yet her main attention was on Naruto which she understood and left questions for later, helping her make the way to him but upon passing the vanishing corpse they were met with the sight of a motionless blonde who stared blankly at the sky. This very sight causing her eyes to widen in horror and moves towards him with Setsuna letting go of her, watching as she bends down at his side.
"Naruto...?" Her words gained no response from the teen that just stared past her which all she could do was shake the corpse. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry...if it wasn't for me and my foolishness, then you wouldn't have needed to protect me so...please, say something, anything." At this point, she was now shaking as tears fell.
"I finally reunited with my sister, I wanted to introduce you to her so please..." She lifts his body in her arms to hug him close to her. "Please don't die..." As she spoke, Setsuna felt uncomfortable yet for the first time she felt what can be sadness at the sight of the girl she doesn't recognize, crying. The girl in red just looks to see Mei crying into the grandmother while the great grandfather appeared to be giving a silent prayer.
(Ahahahahah!)
That laugh had caused everyone to turn at the disrespectfulness which came from the sword that was stabbed into the gravel, the voice angering Towa who glares at it with falling tears.
"Why...WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LAUGHING AT, YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY?!" Her shout was followed by Setsuna pointing her blade at the untrustworthy blade while the girl in red was intrigued at such a weapon speaking.
(Fool, do you not know who I am?)
This question seemed utterly pointless to Towa who couldn't comprehend what it meant before the jewel orb on the sword glows crimson, engulfing them all in its light.
(I am Sō'unga, child of Sesshomaru! I am The Sword of Hell! The Sword of World Conquest!)
Its words confused the girl who didn't recognize the name at all but what it said next changed everything.
(If you wish to bring him back then place me in his hand for I can reanimate him!)
Upon hearing that, Towa's eyes widen, and immediately reaches for it but was stopped by Setsuna who grabbed her wrist, causing her to turn in anger at her.
"Let go, Setsuna!" She starts pulling her arm. "I need to save Naruto!" Yet her words only seemed to unnerve the girl more, not knowing why or believing they are related, and just looks at the blade.
"What are you planning?" That simple
question to the blade gained only laughter.
(Ah, another child of Sesshomaru, twins at that!)
Its words caused Setsuna's eyes to widen at the implications it set forth before speaking once again.
(I wish to make that child my new owner, a ruler that surpasses the likes of 'him'! His inner malice is what awakened me from my 700-year slumber and I foresee greatness! It would be nothing but a shame to lose such a child!)
Its words made her eyes narrow, about to destroy it until quickly it moves much to her surprise, and turns to see Towa had grabbed it.
"Wai—" She fell to deaf ears as the girl placed the sword in his right hand and with it, the light grew brighter.
(AWAKEN, NARUTO! THE REINCARNATION OF~~~~)
As it spoke, the gaping hole in his chest began to be sealed by the earth instant, flying up and covering the wound, converting to actual skin as it entered and closed it. It was the moment the wound had closed, clear red sclera eyes shot open, having lost the ocean-blue and with it, the body rises, showing exhaustion with a clear shocked expression upon his face.
"W-Wha—" He stopped to touch his chest, still in shock as he moved his hand around it. "H-How—" He stopped to look at his right hand and lifts the weapon to see the jewel glowing dyes down.
(Ahahah, welcome back.)
Upon hearing that, his eyes narrow at the untrustworthy weapon yet before he could do anything, his eyes widen once more upon feeling a tug and turns to be met with the tearful Towa at his side, at this sight, he realized what happened.
"I died."
"Naruto!" This was the last straw as if reaching her limit, she goes in for a hug only to pass out into him, shocking and worrying the blond who holds her in his open hand, seeing the blood on the back of her head.
"T-TOWA!" As he shouted her name with worry, the two arrivals just stare in shock as they didn't know what to make of this.
