Chapter 7: Unbounded

As they heard footsteps, both Moroha and the Elder Kaede woke up, turning to hear the steps before coming into the opening was a worried Naruto who held an unconscious Setsuna in his arms, the sight of her had caused their eyes to widen yet they wasted no time to make room and lay her down next to Towa. It took only a little time to explain to them despite the two being tired at the fact it was past midnight, leaving Naruto the only one not even sleepy.

"I still don't get what the Cursed Spirit was trying to achieve?" Mutters Kaede, placing a hand on her chin in wonder while glancing at the unconscious Setsuna. "From what you told us, it seems to have had a motive in doing this?"

Despite already knowing that Naruto could only frown as he thought about what had transpired today just as the corner of his eyes picks up on movement and he turns to see Towa was stirring, her eyes beginning to open slowly.

"Towa!" Naruto moves to get to her side as she starts to sit up and rub her head, still feeling the side-effects of what happened and tired.

"Naruto, what—" Her eyes widen at the sight of Setsuna.

"SETSUNA!" She shouts, gaining a few flinches as Towa overlooked her sister's condition and turned to Naruto with clear worry.

"What happened, why does—" She stops, her shouting

"Setsuna," Towa smiles upon seeing her sister's eyes open slowly. "Thank goodness, I was worried for you!" The older sister watched as the younger one sat up, grabbing her head in pain and looking at Towa with annoyance with a single eye, holding an aggressive look in them.

"Will you shut up." Setsuna growled out, taking her sister by surprise. "Your voice is so damn annoying." With that said, she starts getting up much to her sister's worry and shock.

"Setsuna, what—" Towa was cut off by the irritated look she gave her, surprising the others at her attitude yet Naruto just thinks about the seal having been undone and her attitude change.

(This is her true self, without the seal restraining her demon blood.)

Setsuna just looks at her hands, they were visibly shaking as she could feel her blood riled up with Towa staring at her in worry.

"Setsuna, are you ok? You seem very agitated?" Her question merely gained a glare from her sister who was baring her canines while scowling.

"Geez Setsuna, calm down." Moroha placed a hand on Setsuna's shoulder. "It's not li—whoa!" She quickly pulled away just as Setsuna made a swipe with her sharp claw-like fingernails.

"Don't touch me!" Her shout took them by surprise with Moroha frowning at her.

"Geez Setsuna, you need to chill out." Her hands go to her hips. "Your acting like some ticking time bomb." This greatly annoyed Setsuna but she stops when she saw Naruto and starts to calm down.

"I need to find Monk Miroku, I'll check to see if the others know." This took them by surprise, not knowing who that was, and watched her walk towards the opening.

"Wait, Setsuna—" Towa was cut off once more by her irritated look.

"Get some sleep, you just woke up and it's midnight. We'll be leaving early tomorrow so don't bother me." With those words, she walks out and in turn left the four by themselves which she turns to the others.

"What happened, why is Setsuna acting like that?" Her question got a few complicated expressions with Naruto walking towards the opening, gaining her attention.

"I was with Setsuna when it happened so get some sleep Towa, it's late." Without even waiting for a reply, he left as well for Setsuna which caused the girl to just stand there in shock before looking down with her hands turning to fists, both Kaede and Moroha deciding not to say anything.

Setsuna sat by herself, illuminated by the night sky which all she did was sit on a large tree branch, staring up at it while gripping her shaking left arm before she noticed something and turns to see Naruto on the ground, below her which all she did was turn away.

"Towa's awake, so why don't—" She stops to see Naruto landing on the tree branch with surprise, never actually testing out his jumping capabilities until now. The landing caused her to grab the branch tightly to keep herself in place.

"Aren't you listening?" Her question was met with a case, her violin case to be exact that took her by surprise.

"Maybe playing will help you out." Setsuna just stares at him, the aggressive look in her eyes not fading as she swipes it from his hands and looks at it.

"I'm sorry…" The words caused his eyes to widen upon seeing the complicated expression on her face. "I let my anger take control of me and went on a rampage. If not for you, who knows what I would have done." She looks at the red marking on her arm before back at the sky yet Naruto shook his head.

"If Towa was here, it would have been the same. Tho she would have risked her life more, after all, I'm just a reanimated corpse." Hearing that, Setsuna glances at Naruto before at the sky again, more so the crescent moon.

"It was dark like I was trapped in some kind of prison." She places her case in her legs and opens it. "It was then that I saw a light and heard your voice…" She takes out her violin before with a deep breath she begins to play, the sound caused Naruto to just smile as he listened to her play. This seemed to have a calming effect as she too was calming down as she played the instrument, that was until…

*crack*

The two went wide-eyed as the branch broke and they fell with a yelp, Naruto being below Setsuna as a loud 'thud' was heard, the sound causing a few birds to fly away on high alert as two half-demons, Hanyo had fallen to the ground.

"Didn't expect—" Naruto had flinched but as he spoke he came to a halt to find a wide-eyed Setsuna on top of him, both staring at the other in awkward silence before slowly their faces heat up, Naruto's more than Setsuna as the two scramble off of the other and not once talk about what had happened, choosing to forget it.

It was a morning with Moroha having already left for another assignment while the others went to meet with the Demon Slayers, Setsuna refusing to tell Towa anything as well as Naruto not saying anything either, at this time they met up with Kohaku and Hisui who stood in front of them in surprise, their eyes on Setsuna's change and the aggressive attitude along with it. They had taken note of her sleeves being ripped that showed her long fingers nails with the markings on her arms and face, untied hair, and slitted pupils with sharper canines.

"I see, so the seal is gone." Kohaku places a hand on his chin. "To think the Cursed Spirit would do such a thing yet for whatever reason remains a mystery." He looks at Hisui who frowns.

"Hisui, I want you to take these four to brother's place." This surprised him yet he frowns.

"I'm not happy about it but fine." This gained a sigh from his uncle.

"Don't be like that, I'll see you later." With that said, he turns his back to them and begins to walk off, leaving them.

"Sooooo, what's the issue with the guy?" The blonde asked, his red eyes focused on the slayer who looks at the four.

"He's my father." He surprised the four of them at the news. "He's supposed to be a Monk yet I have no faith in him being truly virtuous." This news saddened Towa who didn't like hearing such things being said about parents yet Setsuna spoke up.

"Wait, your dad is Monk Miroku?!" Her shock was evident on her face and confusing the others, with Hisui speaking.

"You didn't know that?" His question gained movement of Setsuna touching her left hand, staring at it.

"He was the one who created the seal." This took them off guard as they didn't expect to hear that at all.

"When it comes to that be one of the if not the best, but my dad is very shameless and takes anything he can get." Naruto raised an eyebrow at this as they watched him look at the sky.

"But, I wonder how he is doing?"

The four were in the sky, flying on Kirara's back as they headed for the destination as they flew over the trees and mountains.

"Your dad loves this far in the mountains Hisui?"

"He's going through the one-thousand-day training."

"Wait, he's been training for 2 years and 270 days?" Her words didn't surprise Naruto due to her being better at math than he was.

"He wants divine power, so he's trying to obtain it with this training but I doubt it'll go that smoothly." Irritation was evident in his face yet it didn't stop Setsuna from asking.

"How many days have passed?"

"About two years." It was at this point they had begun to descend towards a clearing below them which they soon enough land, directly in front of two individuals who looked surprised at their arrival all of a sudden. The four got off of Kirara to stand before a man wearing white robes with prayer beads around his next standing next to a girl wearing a pink kimono.

"What are you doing out here, sister?" Hisui asked, surprising Naruto and Towa at the news which she smiles.

"Delivering items and what brings you all out here?" As she asked that, the man's eyes narrow as he stares at Setsuna.

"Setsuna…" The man frowns, obviously seeing the problem with her and not the aggressive look in her eyes.

"Um, sir. With the training your doing, what kind of Divine Powers will you gain?" Her question gained his attention as he answered.

"Until I compete my thousand days, there's no way that I can know, moreover I may not get anything at all." This just shocked the girl with Naruto tilting his head.

"If the chances aren't that high, why even do it when you could be spending time with your family?" At this question, Miroku turns to Naruto and takes in his appearance.

"No training is useless in the end, I'll be satisfied if I gain even a little more power. Before, I possessed a very strong power that was called the wind tunnel." When they heard this, they were intrigued yet Naruto tilts his head, having a very strange feeling as if he was feeling nostalgic. "Even after losing that power, I continued to shag Demons until I faced one that was unbelievably powerful to the point it spared me out of pity…that's when I knew how weak I was and decided to take in the thousand-day training." After saying that, he looks at Setsuna who stepped forward.

"My seal was broken." Setsuna grits her teeth, her thoughts on her defeat as it starts to make her blood boil until she snaps out of it by a hand touching her shoulder, looking back her eyes met Naruto's and she begins to relax with the man, the Monk Miroku stepping forward to take her hand, his eyes narrow.

"I'm not sure how it was broken but come with me, we can talk more, I didn't know you became a Demon Slayer while I make a better seal for you that won't be broken." In response, she nods in agreement and follows him, leaving the others with the girl.

"So why did you two come along?" The girl asks the two which Towa smiles.

"I'm Setsuna's older sister, Towa and this is Naruto, my friend." Her introduction causes her to smile more and does a light bow.

"If your Setsuna's sister then you guys must be friends, thank you both for taking such good care of Hisui, I'm his big sister Gyokuto." Her words merely gains a wave from Towa who didn't mind.

"Oh no, it's ok. It's no trouble at all." She just smiles upon hearing this before offering tea which they gratefully accept.

With Hisui going to see his father, it left Naruto and Towa with Gyokuto who had Kirara on her lap, sleeping. Currently, the kimono-wearing girl was eating Towa's chips with a smile.

"Oh, my, these are delicious." She proceeds to take another chip much to Towa's happiness at seeing her enjoy herself.

"Are Hisui and his father not getting along well?" Her question didn't even surprise Gyokuto who happily answers.

"They're just having a misunderstanding."

"Hisui said he's shameless."

And almost immediately she starts laughing at finding that to be funny.

"In order for father to provide for the family, he had to spend a hefty sum, ehehe. You could even say, he might have had to push himself at times, eheheh." They just stare at her in wonder before she smiles sadly.

"But according to Hisui, he thinks our father is nothing but a big coward and nothing compared to his time when he was around my age when he and the others were fighting Naraku." The moment he heard that name, Naruto's eye visibly twitched with a sense of nostalgia at the name.

"Naraku?" Towa asked, not exactly understanding who that was.

"He was a spider hanyō, a villain who caused a lot of strife for our parents, not just ours but Inuyasha, Kagome, and your father Sesshōmaru…" She displayed a bothered expression. "He was someone that caused a lot of pain for my family in particular, being the reason why my parents lost theirs." She just breathes out before turning to them and noticed Naruto.

"Is something wrong?"

"N-No, just…feel a little off?"

This caused both girls to look at each other in wonder before a smile forms on her face again.

"Soooooooo…you two dating?" Her single question caused their eyes to widen as Towa immediately starts shaking her head and waving her arms.

"N-No we're just—" She stood as she recalled Naruto's words and immediately her face starts to heat up, this caused Naruto to just smile which Gyokuto just smiles.

Naruto and Towa were approaching Hisui who was staring at a waterfall, thinking while his sister had just left with Kirara to get a few supplies.

"Your sister nice, she's told us a lot about your dad and his strong Buddhist power."

Towa just smiles at the frowning Hisui who just looks at them, not very happy at all.

"Yeah, well my dad ran away from battle! When he did that, he called it training!" Naruto tilts his head in wonder with Towa scratching her head.

"Wasn't this to get stronger?" Her question gained a shake of his head.

"If you can't tell if you obtained Divine Power when it's done, what kind of training is that?!" Naruto didn't say anything but silently agreed. "Uncle and I are out in the real world, risking our lives slaying Demons! He's out here in the middle of nowhere by himself! It's better if he didn't cause trouble for mom." After hearing all this, Towa placed a hand on her chin.

"It's like if Papa Sōta quit his full-time job and went to train at a Ramen shop for two years instead…leaving the rest of the family to fend for itself!" At this point, Naruto, Hisui, and Sō'unga shared a single thought.

"Towa, I love you and all but that was pretty stupid." His reply seemed to have got an immediate reaction of blushing before she glared at Naruto.

"Hey, I'm just trying to help! Besides, fathers are just trying to do their—". A chill ran up Naruto's spine and turns fast in one direction, his eyes narrowing.

"We've got company, I think it's headed towards your dad and Setsuna." This caused Hisui's eyes to widen in clear shock at the news.

"Master Miroku!" Towa shouted as she, Naruto, and Hisui arrive in front of a shocker Miroku and Setsuna which Naruto takes in her appearance to see the seal was reapplied yet the red-marking on her arm still remained.

"Why are you here?!" Demanded the monk to the demonic-looking huge-green beast who simply laughs, his large mouth twisting in an evil grin.

"Not as powerful as Sanzang but you still look delicious." He proceeds to lick his lips in anticipation of the meal while Towa was surprised.

"Sanzang as in Journey to the West?" Naruto just goes wide-eyed at the fact the demon met the group of four that traveled across India. "Who are, anyway?!"

The beast just looks down at the daughter of Sesshōmaru curiously.

"What about you?"

"We won't give our names to some man-eating demon!"

The smile simply grows on its face at such a thing being said to him.

"Than I'll do the same." This activated the group at who the hell the demon was until Miroku spoke.

"Your one of the Four Perils from the Main Land, aren't you?" This news just surprises them at a target having found them instead of the other way around which the demon claps.

"Well done, I expect nothing less from my meal for I am Tōtetsu, the fourth Peril! Now…" He looks over Towa, Setsuna, and Naruto curiously which he sniffs yet frowns pertaining to Naruto's scent of a corpse.

"Odd, the boy smells like a corpse?" This seemed to anger Towa and Setsuna who prepared themselves immediately with Naruto as well.

"Sō'unga, I'll need a club…" His eyes widen as the weapon doesn't transform nor does he get a response, confusing him.

"If your gonna get in my way." He draws his blade from its sheath. "I'll just have to eat you, too! Half-Demons will be a first for me!" Drool falls from his mouth as Setsuna was the first to make her move with a shout, leaping into action as their blades clashed with sparks yet he simply pushes her away, forcing her to skid back with a grunt.

"Hisui, handle things here!" Miroku orders his son as he makes to leave the battle, angering Hisui while he didn't think he would have been much help as he charges just as Tōtetsu opens his mouth.

"YOU CAN'T RUN!" And like that a vortex formed, drawing everything in with Naruto coming to a stop and stabbing Sō'unga into the earth to keep himself in place as he was being pulled towards it. Not just him but Miroku was doing the same as he was trying to hold on until a bag, Towa's flew towards it yet was caught by the girl but not the bag of chips it eats, stopping it as it chewed the delicious food.

"Hm, spicy…" It wondered aloud as Towa threw a bottle of hot sauce at the demon who eats it and immediately regrets as he breathed literal fire much to Towa's happiness, Naruto's surprise, and Setsuna's confusion.

"What did you feed him?"

"Habanero Sauce!"

This just caused her to tilt her head, not knowing what that was yet this just angers him.

"CURSE YOU ALL!" He once more began the vortex, trying to drag everyone in with Naruto having made his way to the two girls.

"Sō'unga, why aren't you responding?!" His demand got both of their attention to see him shake the sword.

"Wait, what's wrong?"

"Is the sword ignoring you?"

(Do it yourself.)

The single response had shocked the three of them with Naruto being confused.

"This way!" Towa shouts, running towards behind the small temple which Setsuna and Naruto followed yet he continued the conversation.

"What do you mean—"

(You cannot keep relying on transformations. As a reanimated corpse, your body relies on my power to continue functioning. By transforming, it takes power away leaving you more vulnerable to falling to pieces. I will not keep using my power to keep you alive like when you so foolishly risked your body to save that daughter of Sesshōmaru when she went berserk.)

This news caused Towa to stop and turn in shock towards the two, Setsuna turning away and Naruto looking awkward which she starts gritting her teeth.

"What is with you two?!" Her demand seemed to surprise them, Tōtetsu especially. "Why is it that you guys are spending more time together as of your hiding things from me—" She stops as the vortex hits them, acting the three to turn as they were drawn towards it with the house being destroyed and pulled along with them yet luckily the roof caused him to close his mouth at having devoured too much, spaying out splinters as the three came down on Tōtetsu, their blades hardly doing anything as he just pushes them back before doing it a third time with his vortex while they were still in the air, forcefully pulled towards his mouth until one large boomerang, curtesy of Hisui came slamming into his right cheek.

"DAMN BRAT!" He unleashes another vortex on the young man who hides behind the large boulder for cover which the three join him just as Miroku arrived with his staff.

"His power is almost like the wind tunnel!"

"Father didn't you just run away?!"

"I can't let myself depend on you to handle everything for me." His words for a surprised look from his son before the blonde spoke up.

"Not to get in between Yury ur father-son moment but we are on the disadvantage here." His words got a nod from Miroku who looks at his son again.

"You have demon-slayer poison, right?"

"Yes."

While they discussed their plan, the other three had made their move and launched an attack with Setsuna going first to connect against Tōtetsu's blade before leaping back to evade a strike.

"Scourge of Swallows!" With her strike being made in mid-air, a barrage of the green-Yokai crash was sent at the demon who merely swatted them away with a single swing just as Towa did the same with an energy wave of her demonic energy but was simply knocked away. Seeing this, Naruto grits his teeth at knowing he can't do much as he is, not possessing the ability of weapon transformation and the fact Sō'unga cut him off.

"Tōtetsu!" A shout had gained the demon's attention to see Miroku standing in the open with staff in hand. "You were looking for me, right?" Immediately he opened his mouth wide to begin the vortex once again until 'something' was thrown into it, stopping the demon immediately as it twitches with shock forming on its face.

"This is…" Tōtetsu muttered as Hisui reveals it was poison while jumping high and throwing his weapon yet was sent flying as the demon roars, unleashing a breath attack that blows it away she strikes Hisui, sending him crashing on the ground.

"HISUI!" He runs over to his son in worry, helping him sit up. "Are you all right, hey?!" Yet his son was unconscious while the demon coughs with the other three facing him.

"Can't believe I almost ate that poison?!" It muttered to itself while the three prepared themselves.

"Naruto, stay back we've got this so try talking to Sō'unga." Towa told Naruto who frowns while Setsuna prepared herself, weapon pointed at the demon.

"You'll pay for this!" With that shout, he draws in a lot of air and unleashed it all at the three who became wide-eyed with Setsuna making the first move.

"CYCLONE BURST!" She spun her weapon full speed to unleash her attack, both crashing into the other with Towa running around yet it was too much for Setsuna as she was overtaken with Naruto leaping for her.

"Setsuna!" He shouts, grabbing onto her but wasn't fast enough as they were both hit much to Towa's worry yet she just faces Tōtetsu close-quarters with his breath attacks, all she was able to do was dodge. As this was happening, Naruto helped Setsuna stand which the girl was gritting her teeth in anger at the fact they were losing.

(Child of Sesshōmaru.)

As Setsuna heard this, she turns and immediately catches Naruto who loses consciousness.

"Naruto!" Her shout was followed by a glare at the sword of Sō'unga standing on the top of its blade, the orb giving off a light-red glow.

"What have you done?!" She grabs the handle and froze, she found herself in a large area, the ground was replaced by an ankle-deep red as blood water, everywhere else was darkness but the water and slowly she saw something start rising in front of her, the look of horror appearing on her face at the sight of a demonic dragon rising from it and the mere sight had terrified her.

"I sEe, My TrUe FoRm Is InDeEd TeRrIfYiNg." As it spoke, the form changes and Setsuna took a step back in shock at what it transformed into, which was a humanoid Naruto with silver hair and not blonde.

"What do you want?!" Her demand gained a mere smile, one that has massive plans in place.

"To help you, of course." Its sweet offer caused her eyes to narrow. "~and to prevent the fool from risking himself and me losing my vessel. This way it removes that issue." Setsuna turns away from him.

"I don't need your help—" She stops as the being appears in front of her, a very humanoid hand running through her hair which she jumps back.

"Don't touch me!"

"Touchy…hmmmm…let me say this, you will never be stronger than Towa." This caused her eyes to narrow in suspicion.

"What are you talking about?"

"Simple, Twins are very special but also have issues. When Twins are born, instead of having their demonic aura they instead share the same demonic aura and capabilities. No matter which was born more blessed, there will always be balance, training by yourself would never achieve that effect as you will stay equally strong until the other trained as well." Setsuna's eyes widen at this yet it made sense as she thought about the fact she hasn't been able to grow as much as she did when she was a kid.

"What I offer is a way for you to gain control of your power, allowing you to utilize your full potential, such a way would alter the balance and in turn help your sister grow stronger as well." Despite hearing this, Setsuna didn't believe his offer.

"What is your plan?" The demon merely smiles with Naruto's face.

"Twins are bad omens child, you don't have long before your sister's life will be endangered. My offer will allow you to have full control of your power…my reasoning does not come into play now, what is your choice?" He extended a hand towards Setsuna yet she frowns, seeing this, Sō'unga frowns yet smiles.

"How about this, I'll tell you something else. A way to allow you to reach unbelievable new heights but the exchange would be something you'll never do, however, if such an event happens you'll know what to do to have your revenge." Setsuna couldn't lie to herself when it came to being intrigued by the offer and it spoke, the words it uttered had horrified Setsuna who glares with hate at the demon who shrugs.

"There will be a time you will need to use it if that day ever comes, having that in mind will help you greatly so…" He extends a hand yet Setsuna looks away which he frowns.

"How will I know this won't end up leading me to my downfall?" Her question gained an immediate tap on his heart.

"I enact a Binding Vow, a pact you can say, if I break it I'll be the one to be punished and this will only apply to me if I break it." Setsuna's eyes widen as she saw it, the dead serious look in his eyes.

"I 'swear,' the offer I have stated will allow you to fully gain control of your demonic aura with no intention that it will one day lead to your downfall." As it spoke, a chain burst from its chest and wrapped around his neck. This sight caused Setsuna's eyes to widen as he once again extended a hand.

"If you wish to gain the power you need to protect those you care about, take my hand and I will tell you what you must do." Setsuna just stares at the hand and grits her teeth.

Setsuna's eyes widen and look up, see Setsuna flying towards Tōtetsu with a tombstone in hand which she uses it to stuff his mouth full, spitting it out in anger. It was at this moment Miroku turned and his eyes widen to see Setsuna raise Sō'unga's jewel against her seal on her arm, causing a massive bright light which she grits her teeth as her form changes, markings on her face retunes once again along with her canines and slitted pupils.

"SETSUNA, WHAT—" Miroku stops at seeing a demonic aura behind her, laughing in joy as the light brightens which he turns away until it finally dyes down, turning to find such a sight before his eyes and it wasn't him alone as Towa and Tōtetsu stared in shock as Setsuna was staring at her hand, her clawed fingers that weren't shaking.

(((((I will create a space inside myself, that way the demonic aura generating from the blood in your veins will transfer over to me, by doing this you no longer will need the seal as the power will continue flowing into me and in turn I can lend you more power if you need it, but as the amount you can handle.)))))

As Setsuna thought of its words, a smile forms on her face as she makes a fist and it was this sight that Towa placed a hand on her chest, also feeling something off. Setsuna just lays Naruto on the ground next to Sō'unga while Tōtetsu began to shout.

"Let me eat you already!" He swings down on Towa who had one hand on her chest with the other holding up the sword yet it was too much and she was sent flying but before he could end her, Tōtetsu turned fast with wide eyes towards the see a smiling Setsuna closing in.

"HEADING FOR ME, BRAT!" Just as Setsuna stops in front of him he swung his blade down on the girl yet this time his eyes widen at the sight Setsuna was holding up his attack, both hands gripping her weapon and struggling under his blade which Tōtetsu puts more into it yet despite Setsuna crouching, she was still holding it up.

"Impossible, it took three of you to block a strike yet you're able to hold my strike?" Tōtetsu spoke with clear shock while Setsuna, despite having a grasp on her powers felt it wasn't as strong as it usually was when she went berserk yet strong enough that she wouldn't lose control of herself.

"Damn you!" Tōtetsu opens his mouth wide, unleashing a vortex that Setsuna immediately counters by dropping her weapons and slamming her hand in its mouth which it bit down.

"SETSUNA!" Towa shouts, standing in front of Naruto protectively while he was still unconscious.

"So, this is what a half-demon—" Tōtetsu's eyes bulged and eyes start to twitch.

"So, you do have a uvula!" The demon starts to sweat yet his eyes widen more at the taste.

"Wait a second, this is—"

"So, do you like my poison hand?" Her hand grips his uvula tightly with her fingers digging into it which Setsuna jumps back as the demon falls to the ground and begins vomiting as it grips its throat.

"Y-You—" He vomited once again, wood and stone coming out from his stomach before a shout was heard and turns just Towa came in, slashing his side much to his pain yet vomits again before in a single motion his head became acquainted with the ground, sliding off its shoulders and onto the grass, curtesy of Setsuna with one swing of her blade and with it, an orange pearl came rolling out off its body.

"D-Dammit—" Tōtetsu became silent with the battle coming to a close, leaving the others to take in what had just happened.

"Setsuna…are you ok?" Towa asked her sister who looks at her wounded arm and makes a fist while she returns to normal, the markings on her face disappear along with her arms beside the one stuck on it. Her eyes and teeth also retune to their normal shape with Towa staring at her yet touching a hand to her chest, an odd sensation she couldn't place.

"Setsuna," She turns to see Miroku approaching her in worry. "I don't understand, I thought you couldn't control your demonic aura?" His question caused Setsuna to turn towards Sō'unga which the others did the same to see the Orange Pearl suddenly getting absorbed, taking them by surprise.

"What did you do?" Towa's eyes were narrowed at the blade.

(Nothing child of Sesshōmaru, I merely obtained more energy.)

Towa points her broken blade at it.

"I'm mean do to Setsuna!" Her demand didn't much gain a surprise but a still calm response.

(I've done nothing more than making an agreement with your sister.)

Towa's eyes widen as she turns to look at Setsuna who was looking away from her, this sight could only shock her.

"That's what happened?" As Naruto asked this, Towa nods as she sat next to him leaning against a tree with Sō'unga at his side, said blade still refusing to speak to Naruto much to his annoyance, having absorbed a rainbow pearl and didn't bother offering much of a reason why. While this was happening, Miroku spoke to Setsuna involving the sword of Sō'unga and the deal which was obvious that he did not approve by his expression, something not being told but asking would be useless so in the end he didn't press on, instead of approaching the others with Setsuna while Hisui was being watched over by his sister who returned.

"Setsuna told me everything," His gaze rests on Sō'unga. "Getting rid of the sword isn't exactly an option for you but be careful." A nod was given as Naruto stood up with Sō'unga being returned to its sheath while Setsuna was staring at her hand, feeling the bloodlust gone.

"Not yet…" Towa began, stopping both Naruto and Setsuna who turn to see the look in her eyes as she eyes the two of them.

"Why did you hide what happened?" Her question caused Naruto's eyes to widen before realizing 'what' she was referring to and looks away unlike Setsuna who held her gaze

"Telling you would have made no difference." She crosses her arms. "You knowing would have changed nothing but act more prote—" Setsuna stops as she saw it just like Naruto did, the clear hurt in her eyes with tears forming, something they didn't expect with Miroku stepping back to give them space.

"Years…after all these years," Her hands turn to shake fists. "we finally reunited yet not once did you ever want to talk to me, to share with me what happened with you, instead…" She looks at Naruto with mixed emotions.

"You talk to my childhood friend, my first friend, and not even try to tell me anything. Late-night talks, training, do you even know how that feels, finally reuniting with you made me so happy yet again and again it feels like—" Her teeth just grit, it was seeing this scene that Setsuna had remained silent yet her eyes were wide while Naruto's held sympathy.

"I'm unwanted…" Setsuna's eyes start to widen and in an instant, Naruto had brought her in a hug.

"This wasn't my intention—" She looks up from his hug, clear confusion on his face.

"Then what's going on between you two?" Naruto's eyes widen as he tried to speak but the words got stuck in his throat and sighs.

"I'm sorry for hiding it, but…ever since I became reanimated, like Setsuna, I have lost the ability to sleep." Towa stiffens with her eyes widening. "I didn't want you to worry about me since you've been worrying for your sister so much. It would have been better to work on my issues once we help her so I kept it a secret." He separates from her and places his hands on her shoulders.

"We just talk and train to pass the time till morning—" It was at this moment Setsuna decided to speak up as she steps forward.

"We've been training for him to properly wield Sō'unga, without a need for its transformations but so far he seems more attune towards the swords transformations, besides its original state." Setsuna's words caused Towa to look away, the look still in her eye, and despite being told this she still didn't feel much better at the fact she hasn't spent much with her sister, by themselves.

"Yet…" Towa looks at Setsuna in surprise. "you're not wrong that we haven't…spent much time together, as sisters." This caused Naruto to raise a surprised eyebrow while Towa's eyes shot wide to see the embarrassed look on her face yet she refused to look at Towa with her cheeks heating up, knowing this to be the truth that needed to be said.

"I cannot lie and say finding out I have an older twin sister isn't shocking but I can see why you would think like that as I haven't spent much time…alone with my 'sister'." As she spoke that, Naruto looks at the surprised look on Towa's face yet she starts to smile with the tears blinking away and moves closer towards Setsuna with a smile on her face.

"I think this may have been the first time you called me your sister." Her words caused Setsuna to look away, the embarrassment appearing on her face and it didn't help that Naruto watched with a smile just before Towa suddenly pulls Setsuna into a hug, surprising the girl at the sudden interaction.

"What are you doing," She grabs her shoulders and pulls her off. "Don't hug me." She frowns at Setsuna's reaction.

"What's the harm in a hug?"

"Stop touching me, your too clingy."

"Well, it's good to see you too getting along—" He stops and smiles, outstretching a hand. "Towa, pass me your phone." This caused her eyes to widen and smiles as she does so, confusing Setsuna.

"What are you—" She stops as Towa brought her in for a hug, annoying her again yet her attention draws over to Naruto smiling as a sound was made and turns the phone around to show their picture which Towa takes it.

"Our first picture together as sisters." She turns to Setsuna to see she was looking more annoyed than embarrassed which Naruto laughs just as Miroku approached him.

"I can see that berthing has been worked out." He extended a hand to Naruto." I look forward to meeting you all again, I was very much surprised to find out that Inuyasha's and Sesshōmaru's father had a third blade you had retrieved in that other world." Naruto smiles in response as he extends his hand.

"You as well, Monk Miroku." As he spoke the two made way to shake the other hand until upon contact a sudden shot of pain ran up Miroku's arm, causing him to flinch which the other two girls noticed and made moved quickly to get to his side to see he was gripping his hand in pain.

"Are you ok?" Naruto immediately asked yet Miroku seemed more shocked than all three of them, his eyes on the center of his Palm due to the familiar feeling.

"Why is the—" Miroku stops and looks up with wide eyes at Naruto, which seemed to confuse him as he tilts his head.

"Is something wrong?" Despite asking this, Miroku's eyes start to widen as this pain has never come back to him until mows all these years later, and with his knowledge about other topics coming to mind yet in the end he closes his eyes and shook his head.

"N-No, it uh…just a normal ache, it'll go away soon." He shows him a smile while standing up straight yet the three were unsure of that. In the end, the three gathered on the top of Kirara and bid farewell to the Monk who waved them off as they head toward the sky yet as this was happening, he looked at the palm of his hand.

"There is no other explanation, if Kagome was Kikyo's reincarnation then it's possible… he's Naraku's…" He proceeds to frown. "reincarnation?" As he thought that, he placed a hand on his chin yet turns to look at the three flying away.
