A young woman with silver-blonde hair entered Salt Lake City. With her was her best friend, Ian. "A, are you sure it's here?" Ian called. "Why would it be here in a cemetery?"
"We checked everywhere else," A called. "Let's make this quick."
A flashed her phone's flashlight around. She spotted what she came here to find. A small stuffed dog lay beside one of the graves. A scooped it up into her arms. "Good," Ian sighed. "Now we can head back. This place is giving me the creeps."
Gina: So, Ms. Jenn just announced the fall musical.
Kourtney: I swear if you're doing Hamilton the year after I graduate, I will not be happy. I was born to play Angelica Schuyler.
Carlos: Um, you can't complain about us doing your dream shows, little Ms. 'I'm-In-The-Second-Round-Of-Auditions-To-play-Elle-Woods-On-Broadway.'
Kourtney: I'm probably not going to get it. I missed up on the ending of 'So Much Better.' I should've done one of the less ambitious songs in the show. Yet, I had to go for one of the hardest act-one closers in the history of Broadway.
Gina: No. We're doing Rent.
Ricky: Is that even legal to do in high schools?
Carlos: Did you confess to having seen Rent?
Ricky: Gina made me watch the movie with her.
Gina: I did. ;)
Nini: You have to show us how badly censored the lyrics are. I assume you're doing the high school edition.
Carlos: I wonder if this has anything to do with learning that East High is doing Ride the Cyclone. They got a made-for-high school version from the show's creators that's not due to hit the market for another year. Ms. Jenn probably thought it was time for us to do more mature shows.
Gina: Doing a show without you guys will be so weird.
Seb: It is.
Carlos: At least we have each other.
Big Red smiled as he finished reading the text. He forgot today marked the beginning of the school year for Gina, Seb, and Carlos. Big Red started class a few weeks ago. He was going to college online to get a business degree. He was planning to take over Salt Lake Slices when his parents retired.
He left the break room since his break was over.
