Everyone Falls
By: Lance Kopman
The soft kiss of mornings light,
should bring feelings of delight.
But it doesn't...
The spring air should bring relief,
a cool sensation through the grief.
But it wasn't...
Darkness seems to close in,
familiar like ones own kin.
I embrace it...
Vengence is like a fine wine,
it only get sweeter with time.
I can taste it...
Unspoken horrors live in my soul,
pure evil from days of old.
I can't take it...
Slowely it starts to dawn on me,
good and evil don't exist, you see.
It is clear now...
Brimstone rains from where the stars dwell,
ushering in this oncoming hell.
It is here now...
You slowely die...
Oblivian calls...
Do not cry...
Everyone falls...
