Missing in the Void
Swirling darkness swallows the light,
hope fades with none in sight.
My mind starts to wander and stop,
draining my energy; every last drop.
A feeling of serenity comes over me,
A sensation as if floating in the sea.
Cruel temptation tugs at my soul,
Lost in a void; a dark endless hole.
The darkness clings like the web of a spider,
My attitude and impatience makes me snider.
Reality is a void; an abyss for us to tame,
And once I tame it; all will hear my name.
