Holiday Magic Quest Chapter 2 – The Magic Kingdom

Scrat and his friends arrived in front of the Magic Kingdom of the Walt Disney World Resort, decorated with Christmas trees and holiday decorations all over the kingdom. It was empty since it was midnight. Sid said, "Wow, it doesn't look like a source of the curse. Are you sure this was the place?" Scrat replied, "Yes, it was, and Santa told me that we should be expecting someone named Mickey Mouse to greet us to the Kingdom…."

At that moment, Mickey came out on the left podium and greeted, "Hiya, pals!" "Everyone, meet my friend, Mickey. Mickey, these my friends, Mal, Elsa, and Sid," said Scrat. "Hi, Mickey!" greeted the group.

"Ready to celebrate the holidays?"

"Yeah!"

"Awesome, let's-"

Just then, a villain song began playing in the background. Then, smoke appeared on the right side of the podium, and out came a witch with her catchiest song, Agatha.

Who's been messing up everything

That you haven't even noticed

now that everything has gone wrong

"She what?!" exclaimed Elsa. Mal added, "She killed a dog, now that's a villain, right there."

"Well, well, well, what do we have here," said Agatha, as she was changing the castle to a more darkened purple look. "And I brought back an old friend of yours. " "Who?" asked Sid. "GUESS WHO?!" shouted a voice that belonged to a pirate. It was Captain Gutt, master of the seas himself. Scrat talked to his group, "So it was Agatha and Gutt all along. They must be the ones behind the curse that's affecting the universes!"

"SILENCE!" yelled Agatha, catching the group's attention. "We have a quest for you, and if you want to restore the holiday magic for your universes, you only have until sunrise to complete your quest." Captain Gutt added, "If you fail, the holidays will be ours, forever! Here's your first taste of the curse!" Agatha used her magic and summoned lightning. 'Whoa!" cried Sid.

Soon, Agatha switched off all the holiday lights of the Magic Kingdom. The trees, the building, everything related to holidays was pitch black. "The lights, it's the same curse that's happening in Auradon," said Mal. Once Agatha removed all the holiday magic, she shifted her attention to the group. "Now, you must find five pieces of a Christmas star to restore your pathetic magic." "And remember, we will have our eye on you," added Gutt.

Gutt and Agatha both have their biggest villain laughs as they disappear in a puff of smoke, along with Mickey!

"Where'd Mickey go?" asked Sid. "I dunno, but we got to find the keys," replied Scrat. "Yeah, but how are we going find star pieces in a place this big?" asked Mal. Then, suddenly, a vibration came out of Scrat's bag. He pulled out his tablet and answered the call. "Hello?"

"HELLO TEAM!" exclaimed the Warners. Scrat said, "Hey, it's Yakko, Wakko, and Dot!" "We heard about the curse situation and thought you could use some help."

"Sure, we could use help. What do we need to do?" replied Sid.

"Okay, in this holiday quest, you will be separated into two teams," said Yakko.

"Team Ice, which includes Elsa and Scrat," added Wakko.

"and Team Fire, Mal, and Sid!" concluded Dot.

Yakko said, "Now for my song about the kingdom, you see-" Dot silenced her brother and said, "We don't need a song right now, don't you know we have a curse situation, right now?" "Right, sorry, anyway, the two teams decide which places to start at, one, explore the Galaxy's Edge and meet the droids of Star Wars. The other team will start at Avengers Campus and have what it takes to be a hero. Your choice."

Scrat called everyone in for a huddle, "So what's your choice?" "I guess that Sid and I should go check out Avengers Campus," answered Mal. Elsa added, "Then, Scrat and I will head to Galaxy's Edge." Scrat held out his hand for hands in the middle, "Team Fire and Ice." Elsa, Mal, and Sid also held their hands in the middle and exclaimed as they raised their hands, "Team Fire and Ice!" The team was ready to bring back the magic. Scrat quickly handed Mal a tablet so that they could keep in touch. "Let's Go, Team." Elsa and Scrat headed off to take a monorail to Galaxy's Edge while Sid and Mal ran to Avengers Campus. Their journey has just begun.

_MEANWHILE…_

Behind the castle, there were two laboratory mice from ACME Labs, and they are no other than Pinky and The Brain. The Brain said, "Well, now that'll buy us some time, while my holiday curse machine takes its time to warm itself up." "Narf!" said Pinky, as he was currently watching on his tablet. "Gee, Brain, I wonder how a teenager can have the best of both worlds." "Pinky," exclaimed Brain. "Turn off that device. I'm trying to figure out how to accelerate the power upon this infernal contraption!" Then, Pinky suggested, "Maybe you need to plug it in?"

It turns out Pinky was right. The Brain forgot to plug it in. He went over and plugged it in and said, "That takes care of that, but how do we stop those heroes from foiling my plans? Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?" Pinky replied, "I think so, Brain, but how can one company with a mouse shut down an animation company?" The Brain ignored Pinky and turned around only to find that his device was gone, "Wait, where's my machine? I left it there!" Pinky got up and looked around but didn't have any luck. "It's not there! Poit." Just then, two large shadows appeared out of nowhere, and one of them grabbed the machine. "What do we have here, a device and two mice? How interesting…" The Brain exclaimed, "We've been spotted!" Pinky shouted, "Run!" The mice ran away to catch up with the heroes, leaving the device to Agatha and Gutt.

"I'm starting to think that my holo-real imaging device was a bad idea!" said The Brain. Pinky replied, "What do we do?" "Just run far away from them as possible!"
