Holiday Magic Quest Chapter 3 – A Galaxy Far, Far Away…

6 HOURS TO SUNRISE

Team Ice entered a monorail train to head to Galaxy's Edge. They both sat down at the end of the monorail as their transport began heading toward their location. Elsa asked, "So how exactly did you get here?" "It's a long story, Elsa." replied Scrat. Elsa comforted Scrat, "Don't worry, we got a lot of time on our hands."

Scrat pulled out his phone from his bag and showed her pictures, and began talking about his story, "It all started way back in time, during the period of the Ice Age, my acorn was the only possession I had left of my family. However, I did meet a few friends at an island called Switchback Cove. I met the herd and even made a new friend, Sid the Sloth. While exploring the Cove, I noticed a weird portal open one day. Curious, I went through the vortex and found myself in some future lab." Scrat showed her a picture of a scientist and himself.

"I met a friendly scientist named Dr. Evie Boyce, who taught me how to talk, act like a human, helping me out with technology when I got my phone, and even look into my past. From that moment, I realized my acorn was the cause of the disasters, the dam, the continental drift, and even sent an asteroid toward Earth. I decided to bury my acorn back on the Cove, resting with my parents. Evie gave me a birthday present when I came back: a handbag, an acorn pin attached, and a portal device that will allow me to travel anywhere. I spent a year with her. Unfortunately, her past started catching up with her. She called a couple of friends of hers and drove to Innisfail, AB. I met two of my friends, Mckenna Grace and Chuck Boseman. Before Evie left me, she left me these words of advice, and I recorded it on my phone."

Scrat played the message, "We've come a long since we met, remember, you are one talented squirrel who change the future and help out others in need. You're My Hero, Scrat."

Scrat continued his story, "When she left, my two friends showed me my new home, a treehouse, perfect for me. Ever since I arrived, I have helped cheer up the town, often visit Switchback Cove, and even get in touch with Evie. Thanks to her, I was able to move on from my past so that I could have a future."

"Wow, that's quite a story," said Elsa, "I have gone through a lot, too. We'll talk about it later, and It looks like we have arrived at our destination." The monorail stopped at their destination: Galaxy's Edge. Team Ice walked out of the monorail and headed toward the Resistance Area, where two familiar droids were waiting for them, R2-D2 and C-3P0. C-3P0 greeted them, "Greetings. General Dameron told us that we expected you and wanted us to give you the mission. Do you accept?" Elsa and Scrat replied, "We Accept."

"Very Well, your mission is to find these items to assemble a BB-droid across the area: a tool arm, a tool bay disk, a BB head, and a body sphere. We will meet you at Droid Depot." Scrat marked all the items down on his phone, "Got it, thanks." C-3P0 began walking away, "Let's go, Artoo." R2 followed him. Elsa said, "You can climb onto my shoulder. Let's go find those items."

First, the team stopped at Resistance supply to look for droid parts. Scrat began opening crates, one by one. Elsa started to check the suits and helmets, and she even tried a helmet herself. "Hey, Scrat, what do you think?" Scrat replied, "Nice Helmet. I love the color, and I think I found a droid part." He pulled out and found a droid part, a tool bay disk! "Great job, Scrat, let's go!" Scrat climbed onto Elsa's shoulder and began heading towards the Market Area.

Just then, at that moment, Agatha appeared in front of the castle and a menacing laugh as she summoned lightning, catching Team Ice's attention. Scrat asked, "What was that?!" Elsa answered, "I don't know, that doesn't sound good and- "The team came to a sudden stop when they noticed two stormtroopers.

"We're going to need a plan." said Scrat as he gave Elsa his phone, "Search for these items. I'll distract them. Don't worry about me." "Be careful, Scrat," warned Elsa. "I will." Team Ice went their separate ways. Scrat managed to get their attention with a hologram projector by distracting them with episodes of Animaniacs while Elsa was searching for the parts. She found a tool arm and a BB head in the marketplace, wandered into the First Order Area, and found the final droid part, a body sphere.

Elsa then signaled to get Scrat's attention. Without the stormtroopers noticing, he managed to sneak away. Team Ice then made their way to Droid Depot, where the two droids were waiting for them. "Excellent, now that you gathered the parts, you must construct that bot, be able to switch from manual to auto, and plug it into the machine when you're done." Scrat summarized the plan, "Construct the bot, make it be able to roll on its own, and plug into the system. Okay, got it! Ready, Elsa?" Elsa replied, "Ready."

Soon, the team was hard at work constructing their new friend, and it took a few tries to get it working on its own. Scrat was testing it out using a remote setting, but when he switched it to the auto setting, the remote broke a fuse. So, Scrat opened up the back and began fixing it. Unaware, Agatha was still watching them, "Well, well, well, they think they're getting somewhere, let's see if a droid invasion will slow them down." She again used her magic and summoned to delay Team Ice's progress.

Scrat just got the auto setting fixed when he heard a droid that sounded like a mouse. "Scrat, what was that?" asked Elsa. Curious, Scrat handed the remote to Elsa and took a look outside, only to find an MSE-6 droid. "Hello, where'd you come from?" The mouse droid attacked him by bumping into him. "OW, hey!" More mouse droids started coming out of nowhere, Scrat used his scrat-fu to take them out, but there were still too many of them. Elsa tried the Auto setting again. This time it worked. Their new BB was fully operational, communicated with R2-D2, and it started plugging into the computer. C-3P0 said, "The BB unit has plugged into the network. It will take a few minutes to gain access." Elsa replied as she began putting up a snow wall to block off the droids, "I hope it's enough time, Scrat." "Well, can you tell it to pick up the pace a bit?" said Scrat, as he took out ten mouse bots with a ground pound.

Just then, the stormtrooper arrived, and one of them said, "Thanks for letting us watch the program and- Wait... what's going on?" Scrat answered, "Your mouse bots have gone haywire, and they're starting to attack everyone they see." When Scrat finished, the bots began attacking the troopers. "Affirmative, heading behind cover!" Quickly, they managed to get into cover and started blasting bots one by one. A few minutes later, Scrat became tired and promptly ate a few berries to charge him back up again. Finally, the stormtrooper asked, "What's taking so long?" The BB bot beeped and bopped. C-3P0 complained, "We don't care about the security protocols, just finish the task, you bucket of bolts!"

Elsa and the stormtrooper provide covering fire. Scrat used his attacks on MSE-6 droids, taking them out one by one, while C-3P0 and R2-D2 kept an eye on the newly made BB unit, still working its way on the computer. A minute later, the BB unit was done processing through the port, and it shut down all the mouse droids. "Is it over?" asked Scrat. C-3P0 answered, "Yes, it's over, the task is completed, and it appears your bot was able to terminate the connection." Then, Scrat's tablet went off.

Scrat and Elsa cleaned up the mouse droid mess and put them in a garbage bin. Scrat said to the stormtroopers, "Thanks for your help." "No problem, may we keep your holo-projector?" "Sure, we got to go! Thanks!" Team Ice, along with their new bot, Otto, waved goodbye to the droids and the troopers.

Team Ice began heading back to the monorail, only to find that it was temporarily unavailable, "Wait, what?" said Elsa. "Looks like we're going to have to walk on foot," added Scrat. Just then, his tablet started vibrating, and he quickly answered it, "Hello?"

"Hi, Scrat! Hi, Elsa!" It was Anna and Olaf, live from Arendelle. "What's up?" asked Elsa. Anna answered, "We heard that you need some help, and the Warners have a clue that I'm going to give you right now. But we're going to have to draw it out for you; try to guess what it is." So, Anna and Olaf began drawing a picture while Elsa and Scrat tried to guess it.

"A Movie Theater?" asked Scrat. "Nope."

"A Mountain?" guessed Elsa. "Not quite."

"A Boat?"

"A Mansion." Anna signaled that they were getting close.

Scrat made his final guess, "The Haunted Mansion?" "Yes, that's it, that's your next destination!" said Olaf. "Okay, thanks, Anna and Olaf, take care." Scrat put the tablet back in his bag, "Ready to get scared?" Elsa answered, "Let's go." So, team Ice began running toward their destination.
