Holiday Magic Quest Chapter 6 – Scrat to the Rescue

1 HOUR TO SUNRISE

Team Fire soon arrived at the Jungle Cruise ride, where Skipper Frankie was waiting for them, "Welcome aboard the world-famous Jungle Cruise, you ready to board?" Sid said, "Sure, uhhh, can you hang on one moment?" Mal pulled out the tablet, and it was Manny and Diego. "Hey, buddy!" "Hi, Manny! Hi, Diego! Glad to see you guys; what's up?" Manny explained the mission to Sid and Mal, "Your objective is to find the five animal tokens scattered across the ride, be careful!" Diego added, "Watch out for the wildlife, too! Good luck!" Mal turned off the tablet and said to the skipper, "Now, we're ready." Mal and Sid climbed aboard the ride; Skipper Frankie had to talk about a safety rule first, "Before we go, can you guys swim?" Sid only raised his hand.

"Don't worry, we have a lifebuoy, just in case. Now let's go!" The ride took off, and Frankie began commentating on the ride. "Welcome to our first destination, the Amazon Forest. And over here, look at this! Isn't that beautiful. It's Inspiration Rock. Yeah. Uh, there's usually a waterfall here. We normally call it Inspiration Falls, but for some stupid reason, upper management here at the Magic Kingdom thought that we should shut it down for today. I don't know why. So right now, we have Inspiration Rock. But it's usually a beautiful wall of cascading water! And I usually stop here and say things like... uh, 'Boy, isn't it beautiful?' We call it Inspiration Falls because it inspires sensible people to go further into the jungle."

An animal token on top of a post caught Sid's attention, "Hey, look, there's a token." Mal said, "I got it!" She reached out of the ride and grabbed the token, "That's one, four more to go!" Skipper Frankie continued her commentary, "Since you're the only ones here, I thought a welcoming committee might cheer you guys up. So here they are now!" A tribe of natives rowed by and tossed a package onto the ride. Sid caught it and opened it up, and it was another animal token. "Gee, that was friendly of them." Frankie continued, "There's my base camp, and- oh my god, look at what they did to my jeep; they painted it blue!" Mal and Sid looked at the camp, and Mal said, "Wow, looks like a group of animals sure did a number on this place."

Meanwhile, back at the castle, trouble was stirring. Agatha and Gutt were both standing on two podiums separate from each other. Agatha asked, "They think that a cruise is a fun ride, but how do we prevent them from having fun?" Gutt raised his hand and shouted, "Let's see them try to go through this! They won't be able to survive this ride!" Lightning struck the building, and an evil sound went off in the entire park. Frankie heard the nasty sound, "Don't worry, folks, this boat can't be destroyed. Anyways, these are African Bull elephants. You can tell by their big floppy ears and rough trunks. They're brilliant too." The ride went past the elephants, monkeys, cheetahs, and rhinos. "A Rhino! He chased those guys up a tree. By the way, those gentlemen up in the tree are all members of the Hontus tribe. I guess the rhino must be trying to poke-a-hontus."

Team Fire groaned at the worst pun and noticed another token on top of a post, Sid was about to grab it when a crocodile came out of the water. Sid screamed and grabbed the animal token at the lost moment before the croc wound up tipping the post, "That was too close. I don't think that was the only danger here." "Oh, I forgot to mention, for your safety, please keep hands and feet inside the ride at all times." Mal replied, "Gee, thanks."

"Here's the best part of every cruise: the backside of water! A lot like the front side. We're in Southeast Asia now on the Boing Makan River in Cambodia. Ah... if you look up ahead, you will see a temple. I'm not sure what could be inside of it. It could be anything from snakes to tigers. I'll make an educated guess. Since we're at Disney World, it'll probably just be a gift shop. We'll check and see another time." Sid found a token in the middle of the waterfall, "Look, another token, Mal, can you get it?" Mal replied, "No problem, I got it." Mal used her magic and sent the token directly to her hand. "One more to go!"

Meanwhile, Team Ice finally arrived at the port. Scrat said, "Alright, we're going to have to split up. Pinky and The Brain take Otto to the front of the castle. We'll meet you there!" The Brain replied, "Very well, but hurry, you only have less than an hour to sunrise!" Elsa asked Scrat, "How will we get to Sid and Mal?" Scrat replied as he opened up a portal, "Don't worry, I've called in your trusty steed." The Water Nokk jumped out of the portal, ready to help. "Thanks, let's go help Team Fire!" Elsa and Scrat climbed on top of The Nook, and it took off finding their teammates.

"If you look up ahead, you will see a temple. I'm not sure what could be inside of it. It could be anything from snakes to tigers. I'll make an educated guess. Since we're at Disney World, it'll probably just be a gift shop. We'll check and see. I just wanted to mention that it will be dark in there. So, I want to remind you that my name is not Captain Stubing. This ride is not the Love Boat. Keep your hands to yourself." Sid quickly lit his torch, "You never know when a good torch might come in handy." Mal spotted an animal token on another post, but it was out of reach, "Sid, can you hold my hand for me?" Sid answered, "No Problem," as he gave the torch to Frankie, "Okay, be careful." Mal reached out to grab the token, but to her surprise, a robotic hand came out of the water and pulled her in!

Sid called out, "Mal, where are you?!" Team Ice finally arrived. Scrat asked, "What happened?" Sid quickly answered, "A robotic hand grabbed Mal and dragged her underwater!" Scrat said, "Don't worry, Scrat to the Rescue!" He dove in underwater to find a robotic frog with a Drone Soldier on its back. Scrat quickly used his Scrat-fu to chop off its arm. He promptly grabbed Mal and started swimming to the surface, "A little help?" Sid and Elsa quickly got Mal on board, "You okay, Mal?" Mal said, "I'm fine, but what was that thing?" "I'll explain later. I gotta deal with that menace first!" Scrat dove back in and made eye to eye contact with the bot. It circled him and started zooming in. Scrat managed to dodge the attack and damaging the head and body, thanks to a weapon from Buck. Scrat stabbed both the drone and the Cloak-Bot at once when it tried attacking again, temporarily shutting it down. Scrat carried the bot to the surface and quickly dried himself.

Elsa asked, "So, where did that bot come from?" Scrat sat down, took a deep breath, and answered her, "That bot was sent from King Andrias. Let me tell you. He is on my enemy list, even killed and turned an innocent girl named Marcy by corrupting her with a strange being named The Core, it wound up breaking my heart."

Sid added, "Wow, and I thought I made worse enemies." "Yeah, that's really bad, to put it in a way that each of you would understand, it's like if… the Villains taking over Auradon, Captain Gutt enslaved the entire herd, and even King Runeard ruling all of Arendelle and the Enchanted Forest!" said Scrat.

Scrat tore off the drone solder and made a message to the evil king, "Hey, King AndriAss, do me a favor and knock off your invasions during the holiday season. Either you keep away from my friend, Anne, or send any other surprises you pull through, I'll be destroyed within minutes, so don't even try it! Now I'll leave you with the saying, "Merry Christmas, you filthy animal… and a Happy New Year!' Bye-Bye!" Scrat tossed the Cloak-Bot into the air and shot a flaming arrow, causing it to explode. "Wait, what about the token?" asked Mal. Scrat pulled put the token, "I got it. Skipper, can you take us back to port?" Frankie replied, "No Problem, mate, one moment please."

Back in Newtopia, Andrias wound up raging and smashing the remote with his sword, "When I'm done dealing with Anne, I'm going to take out that squirrel if it's the last thing I'll do!"

Frankie finally pulled up to the port, "Good. If you had a good time, my name is Frankie, and this has been the world-famous Jungle Cruise. And if you had a terrible time... well, my name is Becky, and this has been Space Mountain. I'm really bad at goodbyes, so that I will make this simple for all of us. Get out. Scram. Get the heck out of here. I enjoyed having you... hope you enjoyed being had." "Gee, thanks," said Mal sarcastically. Scrat handed Frankie a piece of gold and the animal tokens, "Sorry about all the trouble, but we gotta get going. Thank you!" Once they were out of the port, Mal pulled her tablet, and the Warner siblings came on. Dot gave them their last destination

"Awesome job on getting the animal tokens, and now to bring your quest to a proper end, you must bring yourselves back to where it all began." The entire team was stumped until they realized the answer together, "The Castle!" Scrat said, "Come on everyone, to the castle!" So Scrat's ran as fast as they could back to the castle, to finish their Holiday Quest, and bring back the holiday magic for their worlds!"
