Holiday Magic Quest Chapter 7 – The Final Quest

15 Minutes TO SUNRISE

Elsa, Sid, Mal, and Scrat ran as fast to the castle as possible. When they arrived, Pinky, The Brain, and Otto were the first to greet them, "Welcome back. What took you so long?" Scrat replied, "We just arrived, Brain. Give us a moment, please." Then, Elsa noticed a stage with bridges and presents. She said, "Wait, that wasn't there before." Next, Sid and Mal saw a Christmas tree fully decorated. Mal said, "And this tree wasn't there before, either." Sid asked, "What is going on?"

Just then, Scrat's tablet went off again, "What do we need to do?" Yakko answered, "This is your final challenge together, the magic bridge. To defeat the villains once and for all, you must cross this bridge, retrieve ten holiday presents, bring them back, and place them under the tree. Once you get them all, you can open your presents and search for five magic pieces of the star to restore the holiday magic. Good luck, team!" Scrat held out his hand for hands in the middle, "Here's to us, team." Elsa, Mal, and Sid did the hand in the middle, and the entire team called out, "Team Fire and Ice!" Their Final Challenge was about to begin.

Sid and Scrat started to go across the bridge first, grabbing a present, going across the bridge again, down the slide, putting it under the tree, and tagging in with Elsa and Mal. Elsa and Mal will do the same thing that Sid and Scrat did and tag them back in as well. Meanwhile, back in Arendelle, Switchback Cove, and Auradon, all their friends are watching the event live at home, Anna, Olaf, King Ben, Evie, Jay, Manny, Diego, Shira, Ellie, and Brooke.

"GO SID!" shouted Manny and Diego. "Sid! Sid! Sid! Sid!" cheered Brooke, Ellie, and Shira.

"You can do this, Elsa!" said Anna. Olaf cheered, "You got this!"

"Go, Mal!" said Ben and Jay. "Be careful, M!" said Evie.

When the team got their 3rd present near the tree, Agatha and Gutt appeared in front of the castle. Sid cried, "Oh no, Elsa, Mal, hurry!" "Don't worry, we got it," replied Elsa. "Hurry, hurry!" Agatha called out to the team, "My, my, aren't we little busybodies? You didn't think that was the end of the story, did you?" Mal cried out, "HEY!" Scrat commented, "First of all, that wasn't nice! Second, how dare she take these words from Mal?!" Elsa and Mal got the presents and started going down the slide when Agatha said, "Why did the busybodies cross the bride?" Sid and Scrat were tagged back in and about to cross the bridge until Gutt asked, "Why?"

Agatha answered, "They didn't!" She used her magic and took out a few planks on the bridge! "Whoa!" cried Sid. Scrat added, "This, not good. We gotta move, only 10 minutes to sunrise!" They managed to get across the bridge without any problems. Mal and Elsa were also able to get across with no issues, but the villains aren't happy at all! When Sid and Scrat were able to get to their 6th present, Gutt said, "It appears they haven't learned their lesson. Let's make it even harder than before!" He slammed his fists down, causing lightning and taking out a rope for support.

Scrat couldn't believe it, "Okay, that's it, time for a quick team huddle." He quickly froze time in the kingdom, giving time for a quick time out. Sid was the first to comment, "This isn't looking good. What do we do?" Then, Mal got an idea, "Let's Break the Rules!" "Great Idea, Mal," said Scrat, as he was downloading a virus on his tablet. "Brain, when this finishes, send that into Agatha and Gutt. Hopefully, the virus will slow them down!" The Brain replied, "No Problem." "Okay, anyone good on bridges?" Mal replied, "I am." "Elsa and Sid, you okay with opening presents?" Elsa and Sid replied, "No Problem."

"Here's to us, team, our families, our friends, everyone counting on us, here's to saving the holiday magic, cheers!" Everyone else called out, "Cheers!" Mal and Scrat headed up the stairs, "Alright, let's do this!" He quickly let time move forward again.

With only five minutes left, the team had a chance. Scrat and Mal quickly crossed the bridge, tossing the gifts to Sid and Elsa, who put them under the tree. Mal almost fell off the bridge, but Scrat came to the rescue and pulled her up, "Thanks for the helping hand." Scrat replied, "No Problem." Mal was able to toss the rest of the presents down to Sid, but Scrat was having a bit of trouble with his last gift and nearly fell over the bridge. Mal was able to grab Scrat and pull him up. Scrat said, "Thanks" Mal replied, "Thank me later, let's go down the slide together." They both made their way down the slide, and now the entire has all 20 presents.

The team began ripping open gifts with only two minutes left until sunrise. Agatha used her powers, but to her surprise, nothing happened. She tried again and again, but nothing happened. Finally, Gutt asked, "Loss your touch, mistress?" Agatha replied, "What happened to my powers?" The Brain called out on the megaphone catching both their attention, "Let's say we send over a present to you. Merry Christmas!"

Scrat called out, "Found a piece!" Elsa called out, "Found another piece!" Both Sid and Mal also called out, "Found one!" The team has found four pieces in total, only one piece left! The team began opening presents one by one until Elsa finally found it, "Got it!" The team assembled the star, and Scrat climbed up the tree and put the star on top, saving the holiday magic with a minute to spare!

Agatha and Gutt both started to glitch. Gutt said his last words before deletion, "Noooooooo-" Agatha said, "You will pay for this someday, someday I'll-" Both the villains were deleted from existence, and they were never heard from again. Scrat called out, "We did it, team! We saved the Holiday Magic, look!" The team looked around to see that all the holiday lights came back on, the castle was restored to normal, and the bridge stage started turning into stars! Soon, the holiday magic returned to Switchback Cove, to Arendelle, and Auradon!

Scrat opened up rifts to allow their friends to come through, and out came Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven from Arendelle. Then, Evie, Jay, and Ben from Auradon arrived. Finally, Manny, Diego, and Brooke crossed over from Switchback Cove! As a big surprise, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot also arrived in the kingdom! Yakko said, "Well done, team! You did it. You saved the holidays!" The Brain apologized to Scrat, "I'm very sorry for what I've caused. I've learned this: No more evil plans during the holiday season." Scrat replied, "Don't worry, we all make mistakes. I even cause a few disasters, too. I'll send you a gift when you get home." He then got everyone's attention, "Hey everyone, how about a group photo?"

After a few minutes, everyone found their spot in the group photo. Scrat called out, "Everyone ready? Say Happy Holidays!" Scrat quickly set the timer as he found a place in the middle of the group. Everyone called out, "Happy Holidays!" The camera clicked, and it made a framed photo for everyone to take home for everyone. Just then, Mickey came out, along with Minnie and Santa Claus. Sid said, "Oh my gosh, it's Santa! Hi Santa!" After a few minutes of everyone meeting with Santa, it was time to head home.

The VK's and Ben started to head back to Auradon. Mal stayed behind for a bit to talk with Scrat, "Thanks for bringing me along, Scrat." Scrat said, "Actually, my real name is Samantha, but just let's keep it to ourselves, okay? Hey, what's wrong?" Mal started to sob a bit, "It's just… I wish Carlos were here to celebrate Christmas. I miss him." Samantha comforted Mal, "Don't worry, Carlos would've been proud of you. He wanted me to give you this." He gave her an ornament with all the VK icons all over, Mal was delighted by it, "I love it, thank you, and I brought you a gift as well." She pulled out a Celestial-sized Choco-Smash candy bar and gave it to Samantha. He was delighted, "Thank you. Merry Christmas, Mal." Before heading through the portal, Mal said her final line, "Merry Christmas, Sam."

Then, it was time for Anna, Elsa, and their friends to head back to Arendelle. "Thanks for your help, Elsa." said Scrat. Elsa replied, "Glad I could help. I have a present for you." Elsa made an ice crown and put it on top of Scrat, "Thanks, Elsa, you can call me Samantha, and I have a present for you." "Samantha?" asked Olaf. Scrat pulled out a snowflake decoration with the four elements: Fire, Air, Water, and Earth. "This is for you, E." Elsa loved the decoration, "I love it, thank you, Scrat." She kissed him on the head before walking through the portal with her family.

Next, it was time for the Warner Siblings, Pinky, and the Brain, to return home. "Thanks for your help, Warners, Merry Christmas!" The siblings replied, "Merry Christmas to you, too!" Scrat greeted Brain, "Don't worry, Just promise me no more taking over the world during the holiday season, okay?" Brain replied, "Yes, my friend." "Pinky, just make sure he behaves." "No problem. Narf!" said Pinky. Scrat waved them goodbye, "Take care, everyone, and Happy Holidays!" Finally, the Warners and the mice walked through the portals, leaving only the herd.

The herd said their goodbyes to Santa, and Sid stayed behind for a moment to say goodbye to Scrat. Sid said as he hugged Scrat, "Take care, my friend." "Take care of the herd for me, okay? I have a gift for you." Scrat gave a gift to Sid, he opened it, and it was a crystal, with drawings of the herd around the crystal. Sid said, "Thanks, the herd will love it. Bye, Scrat." "Bye, Sid." Sid walked through the portal as it closed behind him. Now, Scrat was on his own, "Time to head home, good-bye Magic Kingdom." He waved goodbye to Santa, Mickey, and Minnie as he traveled through the vortex heading home.

Scrat arrived back home in his treehouse a minute later, where Dr. Evie was waiting for him. Scrat asked, "How long were you waiting in my treehouse?" Evie replied, "Don't know, I haven't been keeping track of time. Great job on saving the holiday magic." Scrat said as he was unpacking his handbag, "Thanks, it was a team effort." Then, Evie pulled out a gift for Scrat. Curious, he opened it, it was a rainbow scarf. Scrat was delighted, "Oh my gosh, I love it! Thanks, Evie." Both Scrat and Evie hugged together. Evie said, "Merry Christmas, Scrat." "Merry Christmas, Evie." replied Scrat. The both of them looked out onto the starry sky, and it was indeed a holiday miracle for everyone.

Epilogue

Pinky was currently decorating the cage since ACME Labs was closed for Christmas. The Brain was getting food for supper, a big chunk of cheese, with help from Otto, a Christmas present from Scrat. Brain said, "Well, Pinky, sorry that I ignored you. Thanks for reminding me what Christmas is about." "No problem, Zort!" replied Pinky, as he finished putting up the decorations. "Come on, Pinky, let's enjoy a pleasant supper so that we can start on our next project on Boxing Day!" Pinky asked, "Why, Brain? What are we going to do tomorrow night?" "The same thing we do every night, Pinky! Try to take over the world! Perhaps, we should examine that fly bot. Let's hope that girl can stop that evil king." Pinky said, "Merry Christmas, Marcy." Both Pinky and the Brain sat down to enjoy a fantastic Christmas supper.

I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE TITLES. But, wow, that was quite a long story. I've been working on it back in November and finishing it in December. I've made quite the crossover, combining Ice Age, Frozen, Descendants, Animaniacs, and a few cameos. Anyways, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
